Great place! Chris helped get started with my first home brew. The kit had everything I needed and easy to follow instructions. Good prices and great service. Just finished a English Nut Brown Ale that turned out great. I’ll be back shortly for my second beer.

Wow! A beer, wine, and cheese making paradise. Clean,, large selection, well organized, prices cant be beat by much internet comparing. The owner helped us, gave us all the info we need to start, and the confidence to do it. It was very nice doing business with someone so nice and helpful and we didnt regret spending a penny of what we did.

So excited we found this shop! We just started our journey into the home brewing world and needed to buy bottles for our first batch. We read that it was much cheaper to buy bottles from a local store than online, and we found this to be totally true! We were very impressed by the selection available. I am also extremely sensitive to gluten, and the clerk (owner?) was very knowledgable about how to accommodate that. Plus he was totally willing to order special supplies for us! Very nice clerk/owner, and has a very sweet pup that hangs out with him. This will 100% be our go-to shop for our home brewing needs!

So thankful for stores like this. I have no experience in brewing or equipment of any sorts. I went in because I bought a small keg from a local brewery that needed parts. Just found Brewhound today. I will be back there when I need brewing supplies. I had a very positive experience talking to someone that very obviously knows what he is talking about and is truly there to help. If you are just starting out in the Home brewing hobby, Brewhound is the right place to start. I drove twice as far as I normally would to buy a couple of carboys and passed another home brew supply store to get there and will do so from now on.

Awesome first time in. Met Chris who answered all my questions, plus some, and also ended up with a great deal on my first homebrew kit.

I live in north Carrollton and happily drive all the way to the west side of Fort Worth to get supplies/ingredients. Chris is the only shop Im aware of that carries Imperial Yeast, and dont hesitate to make a request on a specific hop or other ingredient. Chris will gladly make orders for you. The real differentiator with Brewhound is that Chris also takes a consultative role with his clients and I have found that to be priceless. When Im up there ordering for a brew day hell gladly give me feedback on my recipe and provide ways to enhance my beer. You can tell this is a real passion for Chris. Highly recommended.

This is my first stop for all my beer brewing ingredients. I popped in yesterday for ingredients for a Kolsch and even though I hadnt been there in a while Chris recognized me and even remembered the recipe hed recommended 2 years prior and had the ingredients all laid out and prepared with the recipe printed. When I want to brew 20 gallon full mash brews Chris has the bulk grains at a much better price than I can get it shipped.

Chris went out of his way to get me a new setup since my old one had been tossed to the wolves in the garage. I then explained to him that I was interested in developing a Belgian-style quad. He took the time to write up a pdf with ingredients and instructions to follow specific to what I had for a setup. My brew needs will be exclusively with him for the distant foreseeable future.

Came by July 5th. He was a little low on supplies, but was able to substitute. Good experience. I live near Tyler, but will stop back here the next time I am in the area.
