We had a very nice meal. Good service and well priced. If we lived closer we would visit again.
I went there for the 1st time today to pick up a call in order for lasagna. It was awesome. Are really enjoyed the sauce that was honored as well. And the bread that came along with it was also very good. The staff was very nice. The restaurant appeared very clean. The parking lot is kind of weird because it shaped strangely. You should enter the parking lot from the South side on Plumwood street. I put a picture up for you to see where to go off of riverside and Plumwood.
Food was Amazing😋 I especially Love the Lasagna, the Trio dish came with Spaghetti a Papa Meatball & half of another Dish that was Divine🤩😏 I dont recall the exact type of dish specialty🤔 Its called the Trio Delicious 😋 muy delicioso 🤩 eso si. ( Even had a to go box ☑️ ) The Lemonade ooh yeah 🤩 cant beat that😏😋 Customer Service was First Great, it slowed down then, Attentive & Great 4 a while later😁💡☮️ I ll cut them some Slack, perhaps they had a long day. Yeah maybe that was it. Id say between 4 stars & 4 1/2
The food was good. But in spite of ordering an appetizer before anything else, our appetizer, salad, and entree all were brought to the table within 10 minutes. We never touched our salads. Nice place but they need to work on their delivery.
I had the pepperoni calzone and this thing was really good, Im new to the area and didnt know it was BYOB! Ill have to bring me a bottle of wine to enjoy their food again. Definitely going there again to try out their pizza!
Food was outstanding! Shrimp, mushrooms and pasta was perfect. Nice and hot. Server was attentive and and polite. Nice atmosphere. Over all I was impressed and will be going back. But make sure you go with an appetite!
This place is awesome, my boys are very picky about their pizza. This place definitely exceeded their expectations. My shrimp and lobster ravioli was perfect, and my wifes chicken parmesan was really good. We will definitely be eating here every time we come back in town.
OMG the food here is amazing I couldnt stop eating. I will definitely be visiting here again to try some other dishes.
One thing worth mentioning up front: they give you a ton of food for the price of the lunch specials which is a definite plus. The food itself for the most part was solid, and the sweet tea was nice also. My fettucine alfredo was a bit bland overall, but everything else was quite good.
The daily special Tour of Italy was delivered with 2 out of 3 delicious menu items, but the portion of lasagna was cold on the inside, so not so great. Then it took me 5 min to get the attention of someone from the wait staff to take care of the situation. The replacement portion was only about half of what Id sent back. ..i guess to ensure that it was reheated this time throughout. The soup of the day Italian Wedding was a delight... most everyone else has had a great dining experience here, and so have I (in the past) but today was not good for lasagna here :(
Food was awesome. Great service even to a party of 7. Very affordable one of the best tickets Ive seen for such a big crowd. One down side is its B.Y.O.B bt theres a liquor and a gas station close by just a heads up for the people that like wine with there Italian food.
The restaurant was almost empty when we got there, yet it took almost 15 minutes to finally get our water. The staff moved extra slow. My dad order one thing and got another. We had to go get things we needed twice on our own.This isnt our first experience like this. This was us giving the restaurant another chance.Not sure theyll get another
I have tried 2 different pizzas and both were superb. This is my new favorite pizza restaurant. Service and pizza quality are the best.
Food was good. We showed up on Saturday night, hardly anyone was there yet. There was no toilet paper in bathroom, no paper towels, floor not swept, trash spilling over. Have a little pride, take care of your customers.
Still sad they closed the Magnolia location.Best lasagna in town and we loved seeing Lula (our waitress there).

Have always enjoyed eating here. One of the waitresses makes the best dipping sauce for the bread but you have to ask for it.
Food is delicious one of my favorite restaurants but as takeout goes not to sure about it they forgot my salad and when I called to inform them they said oh ok yea sorry maam had 5 shrimps in my pasta yes food is delicious but I payed $15 for a side salad and shrimp pasta and received a pasta with 5 shrimps and no side salad smh kinda disappointed was looking forward to a good lunch meal dont get me wrong food is delicious thou

As a First timer, the food was ready in a timely fashion. The pricing was good. The lasagna was delicious and full of flavor. The chicken Alfredo was a slight disappointment. Portion was small and it lacked flavor. Because of the fact I love lasagna they stole my heart....Im willing to go back and they another dish or perhaps a 🍕.

Yum! Great comfort Italian-American food at a pretty decent price point. The waitress was fast and friendly. I would give 5 stars, but the building smells really old inside. I understand it’s a historic building so that makes sense. I ordered the Tour of Italy. It was very delicious and the Alfredo sauce was so rich and buttery. My husband ordered the Tomato Bruschetta. He said it was pretty good but would be better with a drizzle of glazed balsamic. We will be ordering takeout or dining here again for sure!
I am placed an online order. Was missing some of my order and had to drive all the way back to get missing food. Nobody was there for them to say they were busy so no reason to mess up order. Only reason I have any stars because the food is really good

The food was delicious. It was hot and a little musty when we came in, they were running fans so it seemed like the air conditioning had gone out. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms. They smelled and tasted a little funny so I didnt finish them but they were still pretty good despite. My build your own pasta entree was amazing 👏. I would definitely come here again.
My first time here I ordered the caprese chicken I think thats what it was called . It was absolutely delicious I loved the lemon flavor it had to it. My husband ordered the tour of italy which he also said was delicious. Before our main entree came out we were offered a soup of the day or a salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and my husbands soup was good. Its also B.Y.O.B! I would recommend!
Went out here for a dinner before drinks and enjoyed it. The place is MASSIVE but it was fairly dead when we went in. Plenty of space if you want to go eat and not be elbow to elbow with others. The food took a while but was pretty tasty. It wasnt hidden gem italian but solid, still.
Cute place, good selection on the menu. The pizza is one of the better pizzas Ive had around. Sauce if flavorful, cheese is 100$ real & the crust was decently fluffy. Service is a bit slow though.

Obviously we didn’t.I ordered a simple plate of spaghetti and meat sauce... however, I think a more apt name would have been vegetable oil with a splash of spaghetti and meat sauce. Seriously I drained a solid 5 tbs of oil!Moreover NOTHING WAS SALTED! Seasoning would have been too authentic.Decor: tacky at best, a little bit hood if we are honest .Bread: the only half decent thing, although I wouldn’t call this Italian by any means. It was mostly a Hawaiian sweet roll with garlic butter on topWaitress was nice, but half the order was forgotten, and once reminded it was still not brought out.In general, don’t. Just don’t go to this place. Your toddler can cook ya up something better!
Good food and service, calzones are amazing, seafood scallops and shrimp alfredo was good.
Some of our favorite food in town. Weve been coming to Mama Mias for over 10 years and they have never disappointed us. We highly recommend you try it, especially dining in when you get a chance.

I have driven past this place for the past year and finally decided to try it. Delicious pasta. Marinara is hearty and savory, pasta is good and chewy, chicken is Smokey and grilled! I’ll definitely be going back!!!
Good food .. better with new owners BUT dont go there when its hot outside .. the A/C does not work well and they know it.... was sweating and had to tie my hair up.. thank goodness I wasnt having to run around like the poor sweating waitresses 🥵

First of all, eating inside there a couple weeks ago was like sitting in an oven. I think their AC was broken, but thats probably the first and last time I eat inside there during summer.The food: good, but inconsistent.Ive gotten a stromboli from there before and it was perfection. But then another time I got it, it was burnt and not really that great. For the price, overall the food is pretty good.

This is one of my top 5 favorite local restaurants even though Im not the biggest fan of the neighborhood. I LOVE, no wait, Im OBSESSED with the Tonys salad!!! The dressing is light, lemony perfection! The garlic rolls are amazing as well. If I ever eat something besides the salad, the seafood pasta is sooooo good! Ive never had a bad meal here. Its a super old building though, and not particularly fancy so adjust your expectations of the facility accordingly. The food is worth it plus the building is old enough to be cool.
Maybe my gf hyped it up too much. Maybe the lack of wine or alcohol was disappointing.Maybe its the lack of seasoning or its just all 3. The waitress told us that the store behind Autozone sold wine. Wine as in Thunderbird and MD 20/20.The food was bland. No garlic or spiciness to it.Maybe covid has taken its toll and now everyone is playing catch-up. Ill go back and try again

Was on hold for over 6 minutes while listening to laughter in the background. Order cheesecake and had to return to the store to get it. Employees were more worried about their phones than paying customers. Terrible experience back to back nights. Went there several years ago around 2010 and had a wonderful night. Thats the reason I went back after my first bad experience to give them the benefit of the doubt but evidently ownership or management has changed for the worse. I shall not return unfortunately.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We weren’t sure about this place from the outside but the atmosphere inside was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the pink sauce was awesome. BYOB is a huge plus and our meals were delicious. Highly recommend giving this a try!!!

We ordered the Margarita pizza and it was pretty good. Not amazing, but it did the job. Garlic cheese bread was a little disappointing. It was your simple loaf sliced in half with cheese, butter, and garlic. The cheese kind of just said off the head and seemed half baked. A good place for a simple pizza dinner but dont expect to be overly impressed.
It was ok. I dont think Ill travel to go back though. I understand social distancing but there was not many people in there at the time and got sat with the sun blaring in my face they could invest in some blinds of some sort I sat there and was so hot I was pouring sweat couldnt even finish my food I was so hot. The food quality was just ok.

Ordered take out and had to take it back. Absolutely no flavor in anything. Alfredo tasted like water, pink sauce tasted like tomato juice. They also put tomatoes in our Cesar salads - which they explained is “how they do it” only after I called back. The picture on their website doesn’t have tomatoes in it, nor does the description reference tomatoes. Total waste of money and time on date night. Thoroughly disappointed.

First and foremost, this place is not as good as it looks because the pictures does not match the food they serve. The waitress didnt even notice us and we got our pasta with no utensils. When my girl ordered tour of Italy and it came out lookin and tasting like tour of stop six. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and she came out with pepperoni pizza and when it came back out after she took it back to get it fixed.. it looked like the Trinity river when she came back out with it. The only thing we liked there was the french bread they served us and the drinks..
The best Italian food I have eaten in a long time. The family and I make it a point to go here any time we go to Dallas. Relaxing atmosphere makes you feel at home. The staff are very freindly. Just a wonderful place. Make it point to go here.
This is a good place to eat. You can make it a romantic date night or family night. The food is very good and prices wont break you. I dont like a lot of Italian restaurants but Italian is my favorite food. Mamma Mia Italian Restaurant is one place I will never say no to. It has a good selection to choose from . I love it!

We ate there because we didnt want to find a different parking place. The attached lot says for customers only and was easy to get in to, so we figured, Why not?. The food was OK at best. They served giant wheat rolls before bringing us plates or pizza and pasta, which I thought was weird. The pizza was mediocre and the pasta had a pretty good sauce, but both are forgettable. The whole place (decor, atmosphere, service, menu, and food) has a mid-nineties feel, generic and bland.
We went on a Saturday afternoon when the crowd was less busy, so we got very attentive service. Our waitress was very attentive since it was our first time and needed help. We love the BYOB policy and she opened our bottle for us. The salads and the pizza was perfect. We will come back and bring others with us.
Totally Not worth the money! Im glad I ordered to go! The restaurant is outdated and should be shut down. The price was deceiving we had (Cold and under cooked) Calamari, very well prepared and tasty Fried Mushrooms, the restaurant special Tony salad (still not worth the price), and Chicken mushroom fettuccini Alfredo Thant any 5 year old could have made. I spent $44 and threw away 3/4 of it. Dont get me started on the restaurant it self! Needs a visit by the health Department. Im all for giving my hard earned money to small businesses, We will not go back and would be asking for a refund...... The rolls and fried mushrooms were good, only.
