The store manager was absolutely rude. I looked at the weight machines/systems and noticed they were too large for the area that I was trying to put it in because I have other pieces of equipment in the room.I begin to ask questions about the availability of equipment at the other locations because the minimal inventory in the store wasn’t what I was looking for. He immediately cut me off in mid-sentence and said, “Oh you probably want something preowned, we don’t carry anything preowned nor do our other stores. You’ll have to go somewhere like Academy or Dick’s and get something cheaper. We don’t carry cheap equipment any more because we are about quality”.At this point, I tried to explain that I wasn’t necessarily looking for something cheap, nor used, but instead something not physically as large as what they had in the store and wanted to know if the other locations had more inventory since his location only had about 4 pieces of weight systems. He continued to talk over me and tell me to go to Academy or Dick’s.Then his phone supposedly rang (which I didn’t even hear it ring and it was right in front of me), he picks it up while I’m talking and says, “I have to take this call, bye! You can go to Academy or Dick’s” and walked off on the phone.It’s clear that his assumption was that I couldn’t afford anything in there. Yet I find it ironic that I own 2 Pelotons bikes, and his store carries the Echelon (the “cheap” version of a Peloton). I also own a NordicTrack Commercial 2950, which isn’t a cheap piece of equipment either. Yet, his assumption was that I was looking for cheap, since I said I was looking for something smaller… or since I didn’t fit the “appearance” of someone that he believes could afford the equipment there.At this point, I will find another local fitness equipment store to support. I always try to support local, but unfortunately the manager at this location left a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to Busy Body.

So I am frustrated with Busy Body. While shopping for an exercise bike I was told backlog was 2weeks. When I purchased I was told 4 wks. Four weeks has come and gone and I can’t get a status. I have called, left messages and emailed. If I could reach them I am considering cancelling my order. When you spend a good chunk of change you should get a little customer service.

What an amazing place!! Bob our sales guy was on his game. I purchased a tread and an elliptical. It was fast and all my questions were answered. I would never go anywhere else for gym equipment.Chris the delivery guy was outstanding!!! They are a great team of professional knowledgeable people. If you are in the need of anything give these guys a call!!

Couldnt be more pleased with my visit. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted but wasnt sure if it would work for me - after speaking with Thomas I decided on the Rower - this ended up being the best decision I could of made. Thanks to the polite & very knowledgeable salesman, I am one happy customer! Will definitely be going back to this store!

Only carries high cost cardio equipment. I was there to buy a few extra sets of bumper plates like listed on their website. Soon as the salesperson realized I already had equipment I was told Okay. Thanks for coming by then. And left empty handed.

I have been in this store many times over the past 10 years. I have purchased several things and have always been impressed with the knowledge level of the salesman. He seems to know everything there is to know about the latest treadmills, cardio devices and weight lifting equipment. I always leave with exactly what I need and lots of new education!

This store is amazing. Basically every type of fitness equipment and the pricing was at or below the best online pricing I could find. The manager Bob was really nice and knowledgeable as well.

I have nothing but great things to say about this store. The staff is very knowledgeable and patient. I had a small idea of the equipment I wanted but needed more information. The staff was great! I didnt feel rushed at all. And the variety at the store is great. For the novice to the advanced, excellent variety.

Very good service here -- wonderful experience! Was searching for a specific Precor machine and they showed it to me as well as other options. I ended up buying a Matrix instead and am very pleased. Delivery and installation was within a week and the crew was very professional.

Walked into this store on October 6, 2014. The sales person an, older slender guy, was sitting behind the counter. I walked around looking at the fitness equipment for about 15 minutes because I was in the market to buy stuff for my home gym. The sales person never asked if I was interested in anything. This was the second time I came to this store and the exact thing happened the first time I thought it may have just been a fluke... Will never go back...Worst Customer service. Went to Fitness Headquarters further down Hulen St. and purchased a treadmill, upright bike and bench.

My name is Theresa and I barely even know how to use this Google whatever, I never do reviews like this...but after my experience with Bob at the Ft. Worth Busy Body I have to spread the good word about my experience. I purchased a Pro Form Smart Strider Elliptical online and was excited to get it and get back into an exercise routine after some health issues. Once I received it my mental health suffered, what is ProForm selling? It was a big plastic piece of junk! I have used a Precor elliptical at my country club and was shocked at the difference in feel and quality. I thought maybe I just need to get a gym quality Precor so I would feel excited to use it rather than scared. So I searched for Precor and found that Busy Body has them. I went in and was so excited to meet Bob, he was full of energy and obviously passionate about what he does and extremely knowledgeable. He explained that I didnt need to spend the money and get a gym quality one. After trying them I decided with Bobs help to get a Precor 225, which I absolutely love! He also told me how to get my sales tax back, and then a 1 hour free demo on how to use it. I am so happy I mustered up the confidence to go into a Specialty Fitness store...I would never want to do it any other way. Thanks Bob! Thanks Busy Body! A very, very happy customer. Now I want to get more equipment!
