We made a trip to the Kimbell to see the Turner exhibit today. The museum is always beautiful and clean while the staff is always helpful and friendly. The Turner exhibit is beautifully curated and covers a variety of styles, materials, and size. Highly suggest catching this exhibit before it’s gone!

The Kimbell Art Museum is an excellent museum that any art aficionado or historical art fan will thoroughly enjoy. I recommend you spend a leisurely time enjoying the exhibits. Only one issue drops my rating from a perfect five stars to a four star and that is the fact that I come from a place where high level museums are free. Therefore, I found the price a bit steep.

We love this place. If you’re in Fort Worth Texas and you have at least an hour do you need to go see the free exhibit at least. Or pay to see some of their traveling exhibits. This is your one stop shop for global culture in Texas. I’ve been to art museums all over the world, Singapore Tokyo London and Paris. Of All of them the Kimball Art Museum ranks tops in my book. Howdy’all 🤠

Visited the Kimbell Art Museum on a Saturday. Saw the Buddha, Shiva Lotus, Dragon exhibit, Piano area. Arrived early. Free parking. Parked by the front entry parking area, on site. Bought tickets at the concierge, military discount is accepted. You can book tickets online too. Download the Kimbell Art Museum app on your personal device and bring headphones to listen to the audio tour. There is a small Cafe on site if you wanna buy food. Lots of help on site, staff is on duty to assist. Pleasant, fun visit.

I attended the Turner exhibition. Amazing artist! Also had the chance to watch the staff follow around a 4 year old child and instruct (harass) him to cover his nose with his mask. This happened at least 20 times in the span of several minutes and involved 3 separate staff members. He never removed the mask it just kept falling off his nose. Appalling behavior from an organizations who professes encouraging the love of arts in children! My family and I been a patrons of the Kimball museum since it opened. I even attended a pre-opening in 1972 before the public was allowed inside. I wont be back after witnessing the treatment of that little boy.

Weve been living here now for almost 18 years, and the Kimbell has always had world class exhibits and has never disappointed. We are always impressed with the staff, the organization and the selection of pieces. Their permanent collection is rather impressive as well. This is a town with a lot of culture, rivaling Dallas and larger cities in the nation. We went on this occasion to see the Neffertari exhibit and were really impressed. Good job Kimbell!

Its one of the best museums Ive ever been. The special showcase charges money but the permanent artworks are in a separate building and that one is completely free. I was surprised to see multiple of Monets paintings inside the regular building. It also had a section for Neoclassical/Renaissance artworks and they are very cool. The gifts in the little shop were kind of expensive but they were in the affordable range. If youre looking for inexpensive little souvenirs then I suggest the postcards (around $1) that have various artworks printed on them. Great museum!

The museum complied to social distancing & mask guidelines (required to cover nose + mouth and extra masks were provided by the museum in case there was a malfunction by a guest). Can only come in parties of 5 or less, but still a really good time if youre looking to see something truly unique and well preserved.

A new pavilion has been added to the grounds to preserve the architecture of the original building which is considered a master work of Kahn.
