Came for Taco Tuesday after a fun shoot walk down Magnolia. Choice of two flavor scoops, hot fudge, caramel, and whipped cream in a taco shaped waffle. My son chose dark chocolate and strawberry. I got a scoop of BlackBerry pie. All flavors were delicious and a perfect cool down for this humid night.Staff was sweet and fast. A little line but any place good will have a line.
I went last night with my family and we all loved the ice cream. Not only was the ice cream great but there was a roof top patio where we sat end enjoyed eating our ice cream. It is odd for me to say this about an ice cream place but I loved the atmosphere!
We stopped by this ice cream shop for a Mothers Day treat. There was a long line but it was definitely worth the wait! I tried a seasonal Lavender Honeycomb, my husband had the Cup of TX and our daughter had the Chocolate Chocolate. I went crazy and ordered a double scoop of the Lavender Honeycomb, which was way too much for me! It was very good but the honeycomb was super sweet! The Cup of TX was amazing and next time we go, I may just have to get that one! The Chocolate Chocolate was very good as well! It was like eating chocolate icing 😋 They have a patio area, but they were so busy that it was full so most people were not able to stay to eat their ice cream. But thats ok! We recommend you give it a try!
I absolutely loved my first time at Melt Ice Cream with friends! I ordered the equivalent to a cookies and cream scoop in a vanilla cone, and it was just the perfect amount for me to top off dinner. We wished that there was more lighting upstairs where we sat, but that seems to be something that is currently in the works! We had a great time being able to enjoy the rooftop view of the city and enjoy a warm summer night in Fort Worth. I would absolutely reccomend this location and look forward to returning to try other flavors and combinations!
This is a very popular place to go...there is always a line outside the door. But the ice cream is really good. They dont have a large assortment and the cost is moderate.
A LITTLE MORE OF THE DAY YOU ARE NOT GETTING ENOUGH TO CARE ABOUT IT ANDREW WAS NOT GOING ON IN A DIFFERENT AGE RANGE OF AGE AND THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND YOUR CHILD OR FAMILY WILL NOT WORK ON A JOB AND A GOOD REASON WHY NOT JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE FOR YOUR BABY AND IF IT ISNT FOR YOUR BABY TO DATE YOU CAN DO THAT YOU ARE GOING INTO THIS IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE YOU WANT TO DO SO IN A RELATIONSHIP OR A BABY AND YOU WILL GET TO THE HOSPITAL OR THE CHILD OR A BABY AND A GOOD THING AND YOU CAN EAT IN YOUR LIFE
I had one of the diary options, I had the horchata, one of the best vegan ice creams I have tasted. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet, it’s level of sweetness is just perfect. I don’t remember the name of what my friend got, but it was like a cookies and cream (this one was not plant based). Really loved it and would go back again. Oh and the staff was great, very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. She made it so easy for us. 🙌🏽
We had first come here several years ago when passing through Fort Worth and had such fond memories of it that we made sure to come back when visiting again and it did not disappoint. Delicious flavors and the kindest staff, who helped us out without question when we were having some car trouble.
Delicious ice-cream. Limited on flavors. The one I wanted was sold out. The one I got was very good.
A great boutique ice cream shop! The workers are super friendly and I have not walked away unsatisfied in my first couple of visits. It is a sweet, cold treat on a hot summer day where you can get super delicious ice cream!
Okay i really wanted to like this place because of the great reviews, but if you prefer ice cream and not fly cream, don’t go here. there was flies everywhere! i know it’s hot outside but come on ya’ll…there were more flies than customers. and right before i left, i saw two roaches in the corner and knew it was time to go. also, before i ordered, i was talking to a staff member about working here, and they told me it’s not worth it due to the owners’ neglect.
We stopped into Melt a few days ago for a mid-afternoon ice cream treat and it was fantastic! Between the two us, we thoroughly enjoyed a scoop of strawberry with rainbow sprinkles in a cup and a scoop of Cup of TX (coffee) in a waffle cone. Both flavors were awesome.
Best ice cream shop in Ft. Worth. Every flavor is potent and delicious. I never regret stopping in.
We have been to melt many times, and it has always been great! I like the seasonal ice creams as well as the “always” ones. The vanilla bean ice cream is very good, as well as the horchata. The theme of the restaurant is very cute, and the rooftop balcony and patio are very cool! We have taken home several pint sized ice creams, and they’re good too!
Great clean cute store with amazing employees. Bubbly ready to help Telling you the best flavors. Excited to be there. The ice cream was alright wasnt bad but didnt stand out against store brand ice cream. Had to wear a mask inside. To the business response I tried two flavors they were good just didnt pop for me as anything super special. Just my taste buds preference. But I tried the cookie one and rocky road. I felt the chocolate was chalky tasting and I didnt like the marshmallows the cookie one I just didnt like. My 6 year old did like the cookie one. your location is in a great spot and your store may be small but its cute. There are for sure plenty of fans since there was a door out the building twice while we sat out side on the benches and ate. I would say try it cause it could be your favorite and it didnt cost any more then any other ice cream joint in the area.
Tried for the first time todayHad a melted shake apple pie and it tasted like a slice of paradise yuuum
I would love to update my Review, this place deserves more than 5 Stars! There Always Menu is always great, but I LOVE their Sometimes Menu, today I got the Strawberry Limeade and it was perfect. The Staff and their Service are always so sweet and upbeat and always make you feel welcome. Clean establishment as well! I highly recommend you visit!
Yummy is all I can say! Great place just little busy when I went. But most of all it was worth the wait.
Local creamery that has the best ice cream in town. The menu always offers a unique variety of flavors and options (gluten free, vegan, dairy free) along with the classic flavors like Rocky Road, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate, and Vanilla.
Delicious ice cream! Glad we stopped by after a great day at the zoo!
Speedy service. Chic atmosphere. Delicious ice-cream!
The wait was a bit long but the scoops were good sized and the rocky road was delicious. Wish I took a picture to share.
You have to get a waffle cone. The blueberry pound cake was too awesome for words. Its a blueberry experience 💙
Super friendly atmosphere! Very helpful recommendations. And the waffle cones are made fresh. They are the beat Ive tasted thus far!
Expensive for one scoop in a cup. It was a nice edifice. However, I didnt taste any bourbon in my peach-bourbon ice cream.
They have great ice cream very creamy texture. It was a nice ice cream date with my son. Love the outside area.
We can’t stop anywhere on Magnolia without toppings it off at Melt! Their Harry Potter themed month is our favorite, but we always love everything we get there! They have a great selection of gluten free and vegan options.
Delicious ice cream treat!! The staff was super friendly.
The homemade waffle cones are so good!! Cute ice cream shop! Definitely worth a visit.
I am visiting Fort Worth, Texas with my fiancé. We decided to go for some ice cream with friends. This business does have plant-based options for vegetarians and vegans. Unfortunately, the options weren’t tasty. There were about 3 vegan 🌱 options for “icecream” and I didn’t like either of them. I just settled for a lemon pop which was freaking delicious. Hopefully, this business can get more basic vegan options for icecream and include vegan cones. I was really hoping to get a good icecream cone but that didn’t happen. Awesome job with the lemon pop though. 🤷🏾♀️
Outstanding! I have been all over for Ice🍦Cream & this Ice🍦Cream is exceptional …. As are the home made waffle cones
Our 1st visit to Melts, thanks to the recommendation of a friend, and it certainly wont be our last! I told my wife that it is probably a good thing we dont live any closer or I would be in big trouble. The line was down the sidewalk when we arrived, but moved quickly and the wait was more than reasonable. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and more than willing to offer samples to newbies. The saltlick, chocolate chocolate, cookie crack, and beans - we had all these flavors - were an ice cream lovers dream. So creamy and decadent! The dining area isnt very large, but there is ample room outside, or you can take your delicacies and stroll through the quaint neighborhood that surrounds this business .
I would visit this place again for the smell alone! The freshly pressed waffle cones fill the shop with an amazing aroma thats complimented with great homemade ice cream. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, each of them delicious, to satisfy whatever craving youre in the mood for. My personal favorite might be the Cup of Texas, which is a coffee ice cream made with some local craft java! If you just cant choose, build a 3-flavor sundae.
Quite a few choices ranging from classics like vanilla and chocolate to fun and seasonal flavors. They have good toppings as well for .50 extra. Price for 4 ice creams was right at $20. They have some indoor air conditioned seating and some outdoor seating as well. They have a cool atmosphere and serve a good cause (that you can learn about on their wall) as well!
Hard to choose an option but easy to love all of them. Their pineapple upside-down cake was decadent!
I think Ice cream is vegan. Wasnt that great. Good variety of flavors
We had yummy ice creams🍦Just on upstairs they need to put a trash bin. Since the ice cream melts quickly.
Creamy and soft ice cream. Not overly sweet. Best part is the fresh made waffle cone.
Best ice cream and miscelleous treat shop in and around Fort Worth, Texas. Servers always friendly and helpful. Enjoy mostly take home pint servings. Small outsde open area seating is available to enjoy the freshest servings for guests.
Great ice cream and a lovely atmosphere! Its a great place to bring the kiddos.
Cozy little ice cream shop that smells of fresh baked waffle cones. The shop is small but very bright. The gingerbread waffle cone is packed with flavor and blends well with Beans (vanilla). I had the saltlick(salted caramel)and cup of TX(coffee) and both were good. You can request samples if you cant decide. I was there just about 730PM and made it inside. 1 minute later the line was wrapping around the building. Expect a line but it moves quickly. Pints are also available. They gave stickers to the kids and they seemed to be a hit. Ill definately be back.
I wasnt terribly impressed by their flavors and disappointed in their plant based options. It seemed busy when we went, but I found the ice cream to be underwhelming. Staff was wonderful!
Great variety of flavors, treats, and cones. You can even get their ice cream to go! Staff is really nice and helpful. This is probably the best ice cream shop in Fort Worth!
Great ice cream enjoyed on the rooftop porch. Tasty and fun!
Stopped in to get some ice cream since single scoops weren’t available for curbside ordering. When I was ordering, a man came inside without a mask. The sweet woman working for Melt very kindly asked him to wear a mask, which I really appreciated.Great ice cream, great dairy/soy/gluten free options, great employees!
Very good place, next time excepting more choices. Love to go back again, friendly service 👍
So lets start off by saying that the smell from the sweet and very taste waffle cones is what made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was very nice and even as we waited in line, they were cleaning and making sure we stay safe from the covid pandemic were in. I highly recommend the outside/upstairs patio area to enjoy your treat. They won me over as a repeat customer. Thank you Melt!
Very tasty! Love the original flavors and recipes.
Love this place! Love the “always” flavors. Salt Lick is the best! Also love all the seasonal flavors. My favorite seasonal is the Snowflake (white chocolate peppermint) which they have every December!
Omg! Tasty ice cream and friendly service!
Pretty tasty ice cream but it was $18 for 3 ice cream cones 🤯
Very nice and bubbly employees! Strawberry was very creamy and fresh, not too sweet. Highly suggest!
Fabulously Creamy and Rich are Melt’s Ice Cream - Of their five Always Flavors, I love their “Salt Lick” on their freshly made waffle cone, and takeout a pint of their “Bean” in topping my desserts at home - As for their Sometimes Flavors, there are four combinations that changes seasonally, right now I am obsessed with their “Creme Brûlée” - Bright and Cozy is its interior - Friendly and Patient are the servers - Definitely worth a trip out to Fort Worth in satisfying an ice cream craving any time, any season - Scrumptious!
Absolutely love Melt! They’re a favorite of mine. All their flavors are great but whenever they have Salt Lick that is a personal favorite. The staff is always so friendly and happy! They also have a really cool program where you can add money to a gift card they use to buy ice cream for people who are having a bad day and I appreciate that thoughtfulness so much. I love their ice cream and the spirit of the place. 😊
The store is really crowded and tiny. The ice cream is okay. The waffle cones they make are great, but the ice cream quality isn’t anything special or different from store bought
The ice cream is delicious and really friendly place
As a visitor strolling west Magnolia street, it was the cuteness of the shops exterior drew us in, with its bold black and white strips and bright yellow accents. Inside I adored the honeycombed counter tiles and bright shiny white subway tiles back splash. My ice cream was as yummy as the decor! I had the tea time which I highly recommend (made with Earl Grey tea and lavender). The tea and lavender flavors are a great combination, and the lavender is subtle and lovely.
Good. Not the greatest, but it is part of the atmosphere on Magnolia St. I would not drive here just for the ice cream
This time, I got the sunshine one. It was vegan coconut ice cream with lavender and mint. Sooo yummy!!! I usually dislike vegan ice cream, but the description sounded so good, I asked for a simple, resulting in me buying a scoop of it. Also, this smells so good! My friend and I said it smelled so good it could be a candle.
Would not recommend going here. The service was horrible, the staff was very rude and unfriendly. The ice cream wasn’t even that great. There are better places to go with polite staff and good ice cream.
High prices for below-average ice cream. But I was really shocked at how EXTREMELY unfriendly the staff was to people as they wait in the tiny area available to customers. Don’t waste your money or time here! There are far better options for ice cream in Fort Worth!
Melt ice cream is one line you wont mind because you will leave w the best vanilla/chocolate cup ever! Lots of flavors to tempt you but for me, the traditional flavors I savor!
Unique. Small. Cozy. Words to describe a VW Bug and this lively gem. With smiles the staff treat each customer with respect and provide speedy and friendly service. Prices be as they may be, they arent out of the ordinary for the location. The ever changing seasonal flavors are something to be excited for and harken for another visit. If you are on the fence, land on this side, they definitely have greener grass.
Loved it!The Pumpkin and Whiskey flavors they had were amazing, but seasonal so I dont know if you can try them all the time. You can however sample to your hearts content and they are happy to let you do so! The place smells amazing with the home made cones, and the few extra toppings they have to add on are a treat. Love the place and highly recommend!
Melt always has good and unique flavors. They have 5-6 flavors all the time and 5-6 flavors that they rotate out. They always have a couple of vegan options. The shop is small and there is often a bit of a wait but the ice cream is worth it. The patio is dog friendly. Ice cream comes in cups, cones, and pints to take home.If you like ice cream and are on Magnolia Ave this is a must visit place.
Great ice cream flavors that always change, love it here!
Great customer service, staff was friendly and very polite. The ice cream 🍨 was great! Taco Tuesday ice cream was perfect.
If I could give zero stars I would. The place is too small, the ice cream is okay, and the staff is rude (and rude is an understatement). Try Morgan’s Ice Cream instead or for a cheaper option, Braums is always friendly and welcoming.
This place was very good! Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options make this cozy shop a place for everyone! 10/10
Omg!! Their Pina strawberry shake is TO DIE FOR!! So good 😋😋
My favorite place to get ice cream in town. My choice was always salted caramel and I totally loved it. Their yellow wall is one of the Instagram-worthy spots.
