Very Professional. Took the time to chat with me and tell me how to care for and maintain the flute. The flute arrived very quickly in perfect condition . As a person impressed by the sound of bamboo flute, I decided to learn this beautiful instrument. Doing my research I came to know that punam flute is one of the best and I found a dealer in Texas. Before doing the purchase i did a lot of back and forth chat with the person and found the him genuine and responsive. I decided to go with a regular flute and a one on sale. The package arrived within a week and i have to say i was impressed by the sound of both. Beginners I would suggest to get a good flute to keep the initial enthusiasm going and my recommendation in US and Canada would be one world flute especially the SubashThakur flute.

I ordered Concert E natural fusion flute. It has a lip plate on Indian flute. It really sounds as mentioned in the site. No hissing, easy to play, deep resonating sound. It is cool. Thanks to Kirti Shah who designed it and Mukund Lekurwale who created it. It arrived in perfect condition in 3 days after order. Kirti Shah responded humbly and promptly for any queries. Really nice person. What I miss is a carry bag to keep the flute inside when not playing. I have to order again separately. I wish if they provide the carry bag with the flute.

I would not recommend this vendor. after making the purchase the vendor called me and said there was an error in billing and he needed to charge me more money for shipping, ok not a big deal but unprofessional. After receiving a defective flute (there was a hole near the mouthpiece and the flute did not make proper sound because of it) I called the vendor back on the number he had contacted me from, he was very insulting and insisted I was wrong and did not know what i was talking about he told me many times he has been dealing with flutes for 20 years or something like that. Once he understood the problem I was describing he told me he sells those specific flutes with no return or replacement policy and seemed to take joy in telling me he would not be helping me in anyway. If you have any issues this guy will do everything he can not to help you.

I wanted quality bansuri and carnatic flutes, but was frustrated the difficulty of differentiating well made instruments from mass produced tourist junk. I reached out to an Indian flute recording artist and she pointed me to the instrument maker Subhash Thakur, whose instruments are carried by One World Flutes. They did a great job filling and packing the order, and the flutes are amazing. Effortless and sweet and pitch true and a range into the 3rd octave, I love them. 5 stars :)
