The sea salt caramel coffee is amazing, and of course those baked goods are irresistible! Service here for me has always be quick and friendly. If you come right at opening the selection is sparse.

I love this location. Easy to park beautiful clean and fully renovated inside .the line isnt horrible like some other locations that wrap around the store. Their coffee is meh ( mainly ice barely any coffee) and the large cake not that great ( think sponge cakes but covered with either chocolate or fruits ). For birthday cake i would recommend going to an authentic french bakery instead for real cakes. The asian style pastries however are the best 👌 prices are affordable .the dough is always fluffy . I love that they display the calories for each pastries . They got some really great asian style bread too . So many different and fun flavor to choose from .i usually buy a few extra for me to eat the next day .i usually go to 85 for pastries only and the quality is pretty consistant . They tend to sell out fast very fast ... depending what time you go during the day they may not have much pastries left so if you work regular hours and want to pick up something sweet after work, you will have a very slim pick .they know the demand is HIGH but never make enough to meet the demand which is frustrating. Dont forget to use your app to earn points 😉.

This place is really nice. My first time here. Sea salt coffee still taste delicious. I always make it a point to stop by at least once whenever visiting CA. The pastries are always my fave.

I’ve been to most of the 85C locations in the OC area. This is a newer and smaller, but convenient and less crowded location. They have all the great Chinese breads, pastries, cakes and drinks you’d come to expect from the other locations. I enjoyed my visit here and would recommend it if you live nearby.

I might be 85c Bakerys best customer. Ive been there at least a thousand times. When this branch opened in my neighborhood, I couldnt be more delighted. Some people I was already familiar with work there and the service and food is top notch. I generally stick with their signature iced sea salt coffee but also enjoy the cake and bread when my calorie budget allows. The bread is baked on-site so you know its fresh. I noticed that the largest coffee chains are attempting to copy their finest recipes. That clearly means they recognize the threat. I have samples these imposter sea salt cream recipes and I can assure you there is an order of magnitude between them. 85c is the scientifically proven ideal temperature to pump espresso. The beans must be quality, the cream is actually butter guys. Nothing fake here.

Went here for the first time ever. Their bread was so delicious. I had the spinach bacon and cheese bun with a green leeches jelly tea.My new favorite spot!

Not my kind of bakery, I really disliked the pizza looking bread with onions in it. Its horrible cold and not much better when its warmed up. The cheese and garlic bread was good. And the blueberry cheesecake was very basic.

Still my favorite plaCe to pick up drinks and pastries.

Love going here! The baked goods are delicious and fresh. The drinks are pretty good too. Weve had the tiger boba latte, the sea salt drinks, thai tea, and the mango slush which is tasty. I love getting the matcha chocolate bun and my husband liked the milk tea bun. Have yet to try the cakes.

The customer service at this bakery is some of the best I have dealt with in my many years. Also the pastries and bakery goods are filled with great, authentic flavors.

We love trying all their different pastry/baked items. Our family meets here frequently for tea and lattes.

Really bad attitudes, truly rude toward customers. Their bread isnt great enough to put up with bad customer service.

This is a smaller store than the ones I usually go to, but the selection is good and service is good. However, I notice that employee(s) bringing out new bread did not yell Fresh Bread!. Which I thought was a neat thing

This location is a bit smaller and doesnt carry as many varieties as the one in Irvine or Wesminster. However its not as crowded so service is better and quicker

It seems like the management at this establishment is taking their reaction to the Novel Corona Virus discovered in 2019 to an irrational conclusion. When we were making a purchase I asked if the restroom was open so I could wash my hands. I was told it was closed due to the safety of the customer due to Covid 19. I asked how not letting customers cleanse hands is safer for me. The clerk had no answer. I asked what I should do. I was told to use a hand sanitizer. I asked if she realized this is intended to be used to kill bacteria and has little or no effect only killing viruses, and is indeed being used “off-label”. Again she had no answer. I feel the management is failing to train their staff. Ultimately I paid for the food and left with unclean hands. I hope I don’t get ill.

First timer. Got sweet bean paste bun and matcha choco filled bread. Both are delicious but not perfect, bean paste was a little dry and matcha choco filling a bit sweet. Will return.

So yummy. Free coffee on the app. Everything tasted great and my kiddo was in awe. Went at night and they had a great selection. Very friendly and warm. Reminded me of my time in China :)

Very nice bakery with super nice employees and great system for picking out what to purchase. When you enter the store theres a tray to pick up and you go around in a line putting your own what you want on the tray. When you get the the register you can then order drinks and other deserts made behind the counter. The Tara latte is excellent and I would suggest it to anyone that goes. Its a tad pricy so I take off one star and there isnt too much seating.

Decent location..not as crowded as Irvine but I also went in the daytime. As usual I love picking out tons of things to bring to a party but I dont have a favorite and dont think most things are that tasty. Drinks are okay..finally tried the sea salt iced coffee..was pretty decent.

The baked goods are always fresh and tasty. There is a wide variety of sweet, semi sweet and savory pastries, desserts and cakes to choose from. They also have yummy milk teas, coffee and shakes here as well. Its fun to load up a tray full of your favorites. The prices are pretty reasonable.

I love this place so much! I’ve never had a bad experience with the service or food. I like to come here alone to get some work done or along with friends, to enjoy a pastry and hang out.

I love 85 degrees but the last two times I visited they were out of the spinach and kale pastry.

85C Bakery Cafe - Fountain Valley made beautiful and yummy cupcakes for my baby shower. They were able to reference photos I sent to get the colors and style just right! Dont skip the chocolate...those were my favorite!

Everything at 85° is very original and delicious. The pastries are cheap enough that you can try anything that looks good. The cakes are delicious and affordable. The staff is nice and everything is represented beautifully. I would highly recommend going to 85° to enjoy a quick snack!

Small but very organized shop to get some snacks or get a drink when youre around. The selection of bakery might be a little bit less than other stores but pretty decent for a smaller shop. I registered in the app and got my free strawberry matcha smoothies in the store. Fast service!

Wicked good pastries with cream inside, or taro, or strawberry, coffee and chocolate combo. List goes on. Incredible options so reasonably priced. I pick these up for my husbands office and everyone lines up to grab them.

We like 85C, usually. But this location just didnt seem to do the job we expected. It wasnt crowded like other stores. We bought a variety and were just nonplussed. Disappointed the potato croquettes were stale. Maybe thats why they were buy one get 50% off the 2nd.

Always a treat when coming to 85*. They run a clean establishment and always have the best baked goods.

Just recently discovered this place. They have so many unique pastries and dessert buns. Ive tried the matcha bun and enjoyed that in particular, but they have so many delicious options, and they are not very expensive.

This place is awesome, grab a tray, grab some tongs and get busy!! Flavors range from savory garlic break too sweet chocolate rolls and are beautifully made. The chocolate chip cookie bowl is awesome, the almond bread is yummy so light and delicious. Çheck out some of the sweet treats behind the counter.....and coffee too!!! This location did not have mango bread .

They need more staff in the morning to help customers. Customers have to get to work on time and need to get back to work soon too. Other than that food is good. Also they should have all pastries out before they open.

Can you ever go wrong with sweet bread!? Nope. Definitely try if you havent. Lots of interesting finds.

One of the best asian bakerys in the OC, they always have new items to try and most of them are very inexpensive.The visual presentation of all the pastries and breads makes it very difficult to resist wanting to buy all of them at the same time, but with some inner strength you can get only the ones that you really want to try.The beverages are really good and they have a nice selection of coffee based drinks, which always pairs well with the pastries.Hope you can try them all !

As long as the economy continues to improve these type businesses will do well. It would be nice to see another Portos open up in central or southern Orange County. Theyre much better in quality and price.

I really enjoy 85C Bakery Cafe, but this location is the worst. No matter what time of day I go, they always seem to be out of everything. When I ask the employees if they will be making more of any pastry, doesnt matter which one, they say that they wont be making any more for the rest of the day. So I ask what time do they normally make the pastry I am looking for, and they have no response to my answer. How do you expect people to come back to this place if the pastry cases are always empty or only filled with 3 kinds of pastrys that have been sitting there all day? Stay away from this location and try you luck some place else. It isnt worth the headaches dealing with employees that dont even know what is going on in their own store.

I didnt realize they opened up in fountain valley, this one is located in the corner side of the Albertsons shopping plaza so its not as busy as the other location in irvine. Smaller bread and cake options here but full drinks menu. Not a big sitting area as it appear to be more to go focused
