We are full-time RVers and experienced an electrical burning smell in our Class C motorhome while traveling through the Colorado Springs area. Brian at Transwest answered our immediate questions over the phone and scheduled an appointment for us the next day. Everyone at Transwest was kind, knowledgeable and professional and they got us back on the road quickly. They took care of the details of our extended warranty and even welcomed our little pack of three dogs as we waited. Thank you, Transwest!

Extremely informative and helpful. Tim was great to talk to and work with, and was very patient when answering all of my questions. I never felt like he was trying to hold information back just to make the sale or convince me into something that wouldnt fit me.

Although they did not have something that would work for me, I was greatly impressed by the salesmans customer service and attitude. The used MH that I went to see, he said he could not in good conscious sell it to me. It would not suit my needs. So wish I was better at names! Because this gentleman is what All salesmen should be, courteous, helpful and very responsive to my needs. He even referred me to another close-by competitor that might have what I need. Thank you kind Sir for your assistance.

This place is the best place by around by far. They have the best customer service, nice break rooms. They dont try to gouge you on prices. They also have a pretty nice selection in their parts and supplies store. They have a really great shop that can get the job done in and out.

Service is outrageously expensive and communication is lacking.I broke down while traveling through Colorado Springs. I left the camper in their parking lot and contacted them the morning of next business day. They were friendly and said they just talked to the service manager and could get me in that day. I was really impressed that theyd squeeze me in. I asked if they worked with my extended warranty company and they said they did. At this point, I was very impressed. I let them know I wasnt stranded and they didnt need to squeeze me in so they said theyd do it that Wednesday (two days later). I was pretty happy. On Wednesday they called me and said it snowed a lot and they couldnt move it so it would need to wait. Fair enough. On Friday I called to inquire, left a message any didnt hear back. A bit less impressed.Monday I called again and was told were really busy and well get to it when we can, youre just going to have to wait. Ummmm, I wasnt the one that asked for or offered same day service, but I went from 2 days to when we get to it. Now Im wondering what the hecks going on.A week goes by and they call and give me a huge estimate. I asked them what about the warranty plan they said theyd work with when we first talked. They said oh, we dont talk to them, you call them and file your own claim. Fair enough, but the warranty company told me thats not how it works, the shop needs to talk to them. They did talk to them and then let me know that warranty wont cover their rates and Id need to come up with the difference. Now anywhere else in the industry Ive worked with, when you ask a shop if they work with an extended warranty company, that generally means that they negotiate rates and times, not just that theyll take whatever they get and have the customer pay the difference.Something felt wrong so I sent their estimate over to the local shop I use in Fort Collins and asked if they wouldnt mind telling me if its reasonable and customary. They were so taken aback they couldnt believe the gouging. The labor rate was 40% higher than they would charge, they claimed the job would take twice as long as it should, marked up the parts significantly, and to add insult to injury had hundreds of dollars of shop supplies which couldnt have been more than some grease and a couple electrical connectors.Long story short, I paid them to fix just one wheel to get me safe enough to make it back to my trusted shop. I paid TransWest more to repair 1 single wheel than my regular shop charged me to repair the other 3 combined. And with that, it still took them another week to get to the job.I dont know if they were taking advantage of me because I was out of town or if their normal clientele (high end RVs) dont mind tossing money out the window, but I dang sure cant afford them. Next time, Id rather tow it home. Youd also think with the prices they charge they could afford some folks more customer service oriented. Very disappointed.

In short, this is a richly deserved RAVE review. A 28 ft slide topper awning on my RV was destroyed in a windstorm in Nov 2018. Insurance referred me to Transwest, Fountain, CO for the repair. The overall repair experience was a 7-month nightmare, but not because of Transwest. The topper hardware/awning was ordered in early Dec 2020 and NOT delivered SIX times. Covid surely had an impact but cannot be the reason for the vendor’s incompetent handling of the parts order. Apart from the (heroic in my opinion) efforts of a few Transwest employees, I would STILL be waiting for my parts. My first interaction was with Tim, a service advisor, who looked at my coach and advised it would be an easy fix. I agreed. When we started having ordering issues Tim contacted me periodically to let me know what was happening. I was also contacted by John, the service manager, to assure me that I had not been forgotten, and Transwest was working diligently to resolve the order issues. Normally I would expect the parts person to follow up along the way to ensure timely parts delivery, which the parts manager, Joseph indeed did. After the 6th order was again lost, Joseph initiated two really significant actions, without which we would still be hoping and waiting for parts. Firstly, he called the vendor EVERY single day and logged his calls and conversations until the parts were fabricated, shipped, and physically at the Fountain facility and secondly, he emailed me status (sometimes twice) every day. His singular diligence paid off and the parts were delivered, and the RV repaired on 1 Aug. Scheduling work is not easy, as some might think, especially without confidence whether or when the parts would show up. Service manager, John, and my primary technical person, Tim, collectively made sure they were able to schedule my RV to complete the repair in time for me to start a planned extended trip on 2 Aug. Those actions, along with the persistent follow-up with the vendor, should not go unrecognized and are certainly profoundly appreciated by me and my wife. Mission accomplished! To summarize: 1) This Transwest facility (2 large buildings) was clean, orderly, and seriously customer-oriented; 2) I had many interactions with many different people at Transwest – ALL exceedingly positive; 3) The performance of the three gentlemen I identified by name was nothing short of extraordinary; 4) I had work done in both buildings with similar experience in each. In fact, I was so impressed with their handling of this difficult order that I had Transwest additionally perform my generator and chassis 4-year service. The result and experience were exceptional as well!

Everyone is professional. Physical environment is clean and orderly. Could use a comfortable waiting room. Thats all thats lacking. We would definitely recommend this RV repair facility.

We live in Colorado Springs, and were on a trip in Texas and were stuck at a campground with our slide not coming back in. We didnt know what to do, we couldnt find anybody local to come help us. Camping World was A JOKE! Ill never buy so much as a roll of toilet paper from them again. When I called, they didnt care or even want to hear about our situation. All they kept saying is that if we could get it towed to them, they could look at it in 3-4 weeks! A friend recommended Transwest in Fountain after their experience getting some work done on their RV. I called and talked with the service manager and he actually took the time to look up our slide info and walk us through manually overriding it so we could get it in and continue our vacation! What could have been an early end to a trip, or at the best, a costly mobile repair and lost reservations wound up to be relatively painless because this service department went above and beyond to help someone in need who wasnt even their customer! When we get back from our trip, well be settinging an appointment with them to have the slide repaired properly as well as all our remaining repairs and services in the future!
