Please guys were great! They were very professional, quick, courteous, and they did not waste any time talking on their cell phones, smoking or goofing around. Everything was explained to me in advance before they started so they were no surprises. They came in and knew what they had to do, they did it in less time than what was quoted. I would hire these people again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend them.
I hired Two Men and a Truck to help me move. Three young gentlemen arrived at my door in a timely fashion. All 3 were very polite and hard working. I appreciated that they were not on their phones, as many people are now a days, they were focused on my move and nothing else. My only reservation was that a couple of my pieces were not handled quite as carefully as I would have liked. Unfortunately, there is only a 15 day period to check my items and the majority of my stuff was put into storage. While I appreciate them hustling to get my move done in a timely fashion, I would have appreciated a more gentle handling of my items.
Dan, Andrew and Edward ( I think that was his name ) were a pleasure to work with. The problem is I paid for professional movers and they were not. They did try there very best considering they didnt have enough supplies the apartment was tight and it was also raining. They did every thing they could to keep the price down but it still cost me more and they didnt move the 50 boxes in my quote because we moved them to keep the price down . June called me over the weekend to let me know there was a small crack in her bedroom tv screen, also her ottoman got wet and dirty on one end. Would I use them again, maybe, only if I got an experience crew. The guys really did try there best.
Absolutely Amazingly stress free moving experience! When the movers arrived I felt at ease because of their professional, organized way of doing things. We just stepped aside and watched while they loaded the truck. The team worked together beautifully-they really communicated amongst each other to get the job done. I highly recommend Two Men (we actually had two men and a woman)and a truck-you will not be disappointed!
I recently booked a long distance move and everything went smooth until the day of. I picked Two Men and Truck because it is the same movers packing/unpacking and your stuff never leaves the truck. For the most part communication was superb and dealing with the office team and booking was great. There was a disconnect though between those in the office and the actual operations with timelines and expectations. The day of the move, the movers were 3 hours late and no communication was relayed to us. Instead, I had to call to find out answers of where they were on the morning of the move. The information relayed to me was that they can only drive so many hours a day and were held up due to unexpected traffic. The mover however told a different story when he arrived and said that he wanted the job, but someone else senior asked for it (long distance they are paid on % of move rather than hourly). The original driver called in sick the morning of the move so they had to find someone to replace him. Our mover was late because he was finishing up another job. On top of this, I had to give them directions to find both apartments on the move out and new move in…The moving crew themselves were efficient but unprofessional. They skewed to the young side and manhandled boxes, often tossing them around putting dents in the corners and sides. The movers would carry totes around with one hand instead of two and moved things like dressers and furniture around by themselves when two people should handle it with care. My TV stand ended up having the top damaged with dents and scrapes, I assume from dropping boxes of it when loading the truck. Another pieces of furniture, an accent cabinet, had its leg damaged for when they put it down from a hand truck. Keep in mind these pieces were protected by moving blankets on top but no protection for the legs. Once again, instead of gently placing furniture, they moved and dropped things with a focus on speed and not careDuring the unpack, the movers tried to be helpful and tell us where our furniture should go but it was unprofessional, and my wife had other plans and desires. It came to the point where we just wanted everything unloaded so we could do it ourselves without having to argue or disagree. Since it was a long move I tipped well but instantly regretted my decision. Prior to leaving, they swept out their truck right on the walkway in front of my apartment. The trash contained broken glass among other things. I was in shock and honestly surprised the apartment didn’t fine me for it.
The guys that moved my daughter and I into our new apartment were fantastic! They are super friendly, responsive and do whatever needs to be done to get the job done. They saved me money which I love!
Our move went smooth - the team showed up on time but with 2 rather than 3.They changed the hourly rate to account for this. The team worked hard, no damage. Tyler and Pat were easy to work with. Cost came in the middle of the estimate range. Note - we packed our own stuff. The only drawback is when trying to order boxes - they did not have the dish/ glass crates so we could not get over the $100 min for free shipping - bought ours at Uhaul.
Two men and a truck were a fantastic moving team. Helpful, respectful, and very careful with my antiques that were included in the move. I am an older person with no help in the move. My team that was sent were fabulous. They put together items, moved boxes that I could not lift. Would I recommend this company you bet!
I cannot think the group of guys they were three of them that came Saturday March 26, 2021. Nathan and his crew were beyond professional and wonderful. I highly recommend this company. You’re very lucky to have such great workers especially Nathan.
There was much trepidation on my part regarding this move as I had never hired a moving company for any of my many moves. I did most of it myself and the larger pieces of furniture were moved by myself with the help of friends. This year was a way different story and I went on line to find a local mover. This company stood out. The name alone, Two Men and a Truck piqued my interest. I researched them and called. There were three people involved: myself, handling the set up, my daughter (from the home the furniture was being taken) and my friend (who was receiving the furniture at my new place). All three of us are giving this company 5 stars for professionalism, ease of the move, friendliness and courtesy. My furniture was treated well (and its not the greatest to begin with), and the price came in well UNDER the low end of the estimate. Hopefully, I will never have to use them to move again ( I like where I am!) but they also do other things, including haul away stuff. Would love to see this company continue to grow so check them out.
If I could give negative stars I would. There are so many things wrong about the service we received. My boyfriend and I moved out of an apartment into a house. My boyfriend’s parents were at the apartment to oversee the move since we both had to work. The first issue I had was that the mover asked my boyfriend’s mother if there was anything of value over $1000. When she replied that she believed a few things including the couch because it was real Italian leather, the mover replied that even then he didn’t think it was over $1000. Because the company will only reimburse up to that amount without additional paid coverage, I find it absurd that her comment was dismissed. We certainly did have things of value over that amount and would have willingly paid it to ensure coverage in case of an accident. My second issue is that during transport, our glass top for our dining room table which valued at $1500 upon purchase was broken and our couch which had to be disassembled to be moved was ripped in a few areas, a part of the frame was bent from being forced through a tight doorway, and the cables for the reclining action were left hanging out of the couch when they put it back together. We have been going back and forth with management over these issues. We were offered reimbursement for the glass top for approximately $370 and they offered to send someone to fix the couch. Granted that this table was only a little over a year old and a valued gift from my mother, I was very upset that I was being offered significantly less than it’s worth. The website they sent us where they would be purchasing the tabletop to replace (a wholesale glass replacement company-should we have gone that route) showed the retail price and the sale price. Two men and a truck refuses to pay out the retail price and only the sale price which was $300+ cheaper. I understand that the company cannot understand the value of the table as it meant to me, but to refuse to at least pay the monetary value of the table as labeled by the website THEY sent to ME to save their own company money is disgraceful. We requested that instead of paying the full retail price as stated on the website, plus the damages to the couch, we break even and not pay for the move (which totaled to approximately $776). This was denied. When we spoke to the higher up supervisor, we told him that he was dismissing not just the value of the item itself, but the value of it to us by offering a cheap replacement/reimbursement that wasn’t even close to the actual worth and he only wanted to save the company money. He just kept saying “it’s the company policy” and ultimately agreed that yes the company doesn’t care about the value of items. So all in all, he said it best, Two Men and a Truck don’t care about your valuables or it’s worth to you, just the money.
I am a Realtor and have used them on several occasions, not only for myself when I moved my office but for my clients for local moves and for furniture moving. They are prompt, professional, efficient and reasonably priced. I recommend them often.
I was very impressed with my move from Two Men and a Truck yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, professional and positive. What struck me the most was how well they all worked as a team and how efficient they were. Thank you Darius, Radcliff and John for your excellent skills and service.
Great guys. Very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done really well with no damages. Tough move for a heavy piece and they made it look easy. Id use again for sure.
This was our second endeavor with Two Men and a Truck, but this time with much more furniture. They were right on time, friendly, and very careful with our items. It was by far the fastest move weve ever done. They sent 6 people and two trucks for a 3 bedroom house, which just made the process that much smoother. They padded the entryways and wrapped all of our furniture. I really cant imagine having a better experience.
Great moving company. The men are respectful, careful, quick workers. They amaze me in how much they can accomplish in a short time. I moved from a third floor walk-up apartment and they had my stuff wrapped and out in the truck very quickly. Their rates seem reasonable. Ive used them three times and would gladly suggest them to anyone.
Overall customer service 5 star. Communication
I have used Two Men franchises multiple times within, to and from multiple states. All stellar experiences and I have strongly recommended them to anyone in need of movers. My most recent move was within Massachusetts by the Foxboro location and, rather than bore you with the details, I will simply say it was awful from the moment the movers showed up to the unsatisfactory resolution of many, many issues. It is clear that the attitude comes from the top and that is not a compliment.
Amazing employees very hard working extremely professional would definitely recommend them
Great all around. Professional and things done in timely manner. The moving team so nice and made me feel so comfortable with them. Customer Service great, very understanding of my situation and helpful to my needs.
We had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck! The three guys that helped us move were so kind & professional. Our items were handled with care and the move was very quick & easy! I would absolutely recommend them.
Very courteous and hard working, will be using them again this month!
It was a breeze to set-up my move and get my quote. On the day of the move, my movers were great at communicating and moved everything very quickly. Will definitely recommend and use again!
The mover went above and beyond. We moved into a small apartment in Bostons North end - tight streets, 3 flights of stairs... these guys never complained and found a way to make it work. I would use them again in a heart beat.
Dont use this company they go over the time estimate on every job show up late and always break somthing...oh yeah and they have employees that come in with covid and the company doesnt say anything till six days later so I quit dont use this company
They did an EXCELLENT job!!
