They do great work, but only on Subarus. I have been going here for 3 years and have always gotten honest, fair, service and advice, even when it means not fixing something. They even offer free loaners when booking service in advance. I would recommend this pace to anyone with a Subaru.

If you have a Subaru and dont want to go to the dealer for service, use Speen Street Automotive. Ive been bringing my 2000 and 2003 Subarus here for more than four years, even though its more than a twenty-mile drive for me. They have loaner cars so I drop off my car, go to work in the loaner car, and then pick up my car at the end of the day. Dave is great at explaining quotations for repairs, and Cheryl is also great answering the phones and greeting customers. And, they are good about calling with a diagnosis and quotation, and are good about calling when the car is ready.I had to write this review, because this morning was a typical example of how helpful Dave is: I called him with a bad washer fluid system, and told him I had plenty of washer fluid. He started to explain to me how to diagnose whether it was the pump, or a simple hose problem, which he often sees. I said I wanted to bring it in to him, I did, he fixed it, and he didnt bother charging me.And, if you cant arrive before closing time, Cheryl can usually accommodate payment and car pick-up.Theyre easy to get to, but a little difficult to find, because theyre located off the street.

I have been taking my two Subarus to this shop for the past 13 years.The service is prompt, professional, and honest. You will get an estimate before any work is completed and get your car back on time.Everyone is very professional, there are not hidden agendas and they use Subaru parts.

I drive a Subaru STi which has needed about $10k in maintenance in the last two years so Ive developed high standards for auto shops. I only use Speen Street for parts but theyve offered me cheaper prices than I find online. Recently I needed oil filters and was on my way over knowing they closed soon. I called ahead and found out I wasnt going to make it in time. The owner recognized me by first name only, having not seen me in months. He said hed leave the filters by the door with a slip and I could come by and pay another day. You just dont get trust and service like that anymore. They know how to earn your business. Fantastic alternative to going to a Subaru dealer for your parts or service.
