We needed a new garage door, and we wanted to paint it a custom Benjamin Moore color, the same color as our front door. We tried shopping the box home improvement stores, but their selection was very limited. We called Door Systems who promptly sent Hank to our home. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and candid. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of different types of garage doors and gave us his recommendation. He sent us a written quote a day later. We were surprised at how affordable the door was, which included new rails and springs - everything but the motor which was reasonably new already. Hank impressed on us that with the price of materials going up, a price hike was planned on a specific date a couple of week out in the future, and that we had to complete the deal before then or the price hike would affect our quote. We visited Hank at the Door Systems showroom in Framingham to make a final selection. Once again, Hank spent an hour+ walking us through the showroom explaining the differences and advantages/disadvantages of each door type. We were very glad to have visited the showroom because our final selection was slightly different than the original selection. While we waited in the showroom, Hank updated the quote and we sealed the deal. It took about a month for the door to arrive because it was slightly non-standard, and then it took another couple of weeks to strip the standard paint color from the manufacturer and apply our custom paint color, which came out great. Marianna was wonderful to work with while scheduling the delivery and installation of the door, which we had to reschedule three times due to other work being done to our home. Each time Marianna was pleasant, friendly, responsive and professional. Cameron installed the door on the day he was supposed to. He was also friendly and knowledgeable. It didnt take more than a couple of hours to remove the old door. Rails and springs and install the new. He took all the waste with him. Two small seal issues required twodifferent service calls, and each time Marianna promptly dispatched technicians to service the door seal and make it perfect. Visitors to our home have commented how quiet the door is. We couldnt be more pleased or offer a higher recommendation.
I reached out to Door Systems for help with a custom high lift door install. I am getting the space ready for a 4 post lift and needed to start the process of getting the ceiling height from 10ft to 14ft. They were incredibly responsive from start to finish and both Bruno, their extremely knowledgable sales rep, and the installer knocked it out of the park. Bruno came out to my place multiple times to take measurements and even recommended a crew to help raise the ceiling ties. The installer was even able to remove two of the remaining ties during the install, which was above and beyond. Now Ive got a slick new door that raises with the roofline and a very nice side mount opener with built in battery backup and WiFi. Ill be reaching out for any future maintenance and upgrades as the garage buildout continues. Top notch operation. Thank you!

The installer, Donnie (?), did an awesome job and had a great attitude even on a severely hot day. He was professional, kind, and showed pride in his work when the job was done. The salesman Bruno was very thorough and accommodating, bringing many samples and going over the many options and styles. The install team arrived on time and did an excellent job of installing the doors and explaining the opener controls and what future maintenance the system may need.
This is 0 star situation. Our installation was a mess which we only knew because we were there to witness it. Two side by side doors were installed differently and we had issues with them opening and closing due to the track path from day 1. They sent a second team out to re-install them. That team said it was initially installed incorrectly and bad-mouthed the previous two installers. After they completed their band-aid fix, we continue to have problems to this day. And now one of the doors has completely dislodged from the header, endangering my children and has become inoperable. When I called the company, they told me I would receive a phone call and I never did. I called back and again never received a call back. Watch out! They incentivize contractors to use them, but they are known for cutting corners and terrible customer service.
Fantastic experience! Bruno was amazing in his service and knowledge. He even personally installed parts to our door frame that our framer had left out. He did this outside the scope of work and made the experience exceptional. Our installer was amazing, he spent the entire day meticulously installing the door and did not leave until 7pm to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended. I had best experience with door systems boston. The salesman Hank was very friendly and gave me the best price for my new garage addition. Due to the construction schedule the door installation and service persons has to come couple of times to finish the job but the were very accommodating and did it very well. I would like to specially mention the Ruth from support and Gregg from installation team who were awesome.

Both Henry and Wayne made my decision a very positive one. They both worked to make sure all details were covered. The ProVia doors that were installed are both excellent. Great service; classy enough to put in a temporary fix to my home garage door while waiting for the part and not billing me until the job was complete. Also had good luck with them on a commercial install. Price was about $430 for a double wide door with two torsion springs, and included two service calls - one for the temporary and one for the longer term fix.
I received my quote promptly, I picked up the door while in a hurry and didnt notice that they didnt pick and load the angle iron to hang the door. It was an inconvenience to be stuck in the middle of an install and not be able to hang the door, but when I told them of my predicament the very quickly and painlessly credited me for the cost of the metal. This wouldve been a 5 star if they picked the angle iron, but still a 4 because it was partially my fault for not noticing. I will definitely be returning for future jobs!

Door Systems did a fantastic job of replacing and reinstalling our glass Garage Door Panels. They also did a complete service on our doors and they run as well as the day they were in stalled (10 years ago). Thank you. The door panels did take months and months to arrive - COVID issues
Door systems was competitive in price and had a great showroom. Salesperson was knowledgeable and patient as we sorted through the options. Installation went well. Technician cleaned up after he was through--no debris or spare screws ready to pierce car tires--and provided guidance on future maintenance, etc. Just wish he would have helped with the WiFi connection.
Great door, the installer was very nice and thorough. I wish the VP sales person would get back to me after we signed the contract. Once he signed the contract, he disappeared and didn’t return phone calls. The only time he was really fast at returning calls was when I left him a message that I wanted to pay by credit card, 5 minutes after the installer left.

We needed a bracket for one of our overhead doors. The Framingham location didnt have what we needed, but they called all their other distribution locations and secured what we needed. They went above and beyond with their service and time. Weve used them for the installation of our overhead doors in the past. Highly recommend!

Im pretty handy and could have done the repair myself but it is hard to put a price tag on the full service that was provided.
About 15 years ago we had a garage door and opener installed by a local South Shore company called Mortland Overhead Door. Recently, the motor died. I called and was told that is about the lifespan and needed a new one. The installer, Ken, arrived on the early side of the two hour window and did a great job replacing the motor, electric eyes, and key pad. He was friendly and patient with the couple of questions I had and even tried to program our old remotes but they weren’t compatible. At first I was confused when the name on his truck was different, but he explained that Door Systems had recently bought the garage door company he worked for. No problem! I highly recommend this company for installation and service of garage doors.
I worked with Bruno Jolie to purchase a door for our new garage. He came out to our house to show us samples, take measurements, and talk through our pricing options. It was a bit hard to tell how nice the door would look once installed, but it turned out to be beautiful. Installation was a breeze and everybody was very responsive throughout the process.
I normally try not to write any bad reviews for any business, how ever these guys we absolutely awful with their quality of their doors, Technicians, salesman and even their vice presidents.It took them 2 Month to install my doors that I did not like!!!!!I Strongly DO NOT recommend them.
These guys are great. The sales guy came out the same day I called and was able to address the unique circumstances of my installation. As soon as I was ready they sent someone over who took care of the installation quickly and capably. For the price I paid, I think they delivered very good value.

The doors I purchased were expensive but worth every penny. I have had 3 people compliment me on the beautiful doors on the garage. As a retired builder/contractor I expect the best for my own home, and after a mishap in which I hit the lower panel of my double 8 overhead door with my flatbed trailer, I needed it replaced. My sales rep from Door Systems came right out and gave me a quote I found very reasonable and also inspected another 20 plus year old door that was starting to give us trouble... He suggested replacing the bearings on the unit during the same service call, so we set an appointment, and the work was done promptly, and well. This firm provides professional service and excellent customer service. I refer them every chance I get without hesitation.

I am so happy with the doors that we got installed. They look exactly how I expected, with the windows and hardware and all. They make our home look so much better and the material will last far longer than our previous wooden garage doors that got waterlogged. Would recommend!

Very disappointed with the lack of respect and poor customer service accorded to me. I had them come out in November to make a repair to the tune of $200; seemed a little high but no big deal as the service was prompt and efficient.Then, two weeks ago, the door would not open and it was the motor that needed replacement. I called them and asked if we could possibly get a discount since we had just paid them $200; again, not a big deal but wanted to ask.Called them 5 times over the last 10 days and each time I was told that they would have to ask the boss or a higher-up and that I would receive a call the following day. Never received even ONE call back. The final time I asked if they even wanted my business and I was assured that they did and I would DEFINITELY receive a call back. That was three days ago.Not sure what kind of business sense this shows but I am certainly not going to chase them around and will go elsewhere.This is maybe the second negative review I have ever submitted but they well deserve it!
It is easy to give a good review when everything goes well, better when the order shipped incorrectly. I arrived home to find the door installed by my builder to be incorrect. Henry took my call, ordered the correct door and even offered to install it for me when it came in. Thank you for being a stand up company in a world full of poor customer service.

Worst customer service ever! Our keypad on our garage door opener stopped working after a year for no apparent reason. We attempted to reset. When that was unsuccessful, we requested a service call. The rep fixed the problem in a few minutes and said there probably would not be a charge. A week later we received a bill for $99. When we contacted Door Systems, the telephone rep was extremely rude, said we should have asked about the charges before they sent someone over, and when we asked to speak to a manager. said she was the manager. Apparently that gave her a license to be rude. She claimed that its the way it is done in our industry. Clearly, Door Systems does not understand the concept of customer service. The telephone rep did not care that we said we would take our future business elsewhere.

I had a new garage door installed as a Christmas gift for my husband. My interactions with the sales rep from Norwell were all positive. He was helpful and professional. I was quoted a 3 to 4 hour window necessary to install the door by someone in the office. The installer arrived, I reaffirmed that I had been told that the eyes were non-functional so the door did not work properly. The installer assured me that he would make sure everything worked. He removed the old tracks, and as he did so, the old wood split. He had no wood to continue the installation. He asked me to go and purchase pressure treated 2 x 4s and nails. I drive a sedan so could not do so. I ran to a neighbor who coincidentally finished work to his home so he had 2 x 4s, though not pressure treated. The installer used them. Five hours later, he informed me that his part of the job was finished. He stated that he did not have new eyes because he was not told to bring them. (I also noticed, and commented on the fact that the door did not look centered. He said it was nothing he did. (Perhaps he should have centered the door by measuring at the top and not the bottom where it wouldnt matter as much visually). He packed up his materials and told me that he would put in an order for a technician to visit. The technician came a few days later. He was courteous and professional. He told me that he needed 2 pieces of wood to frame the door, and that he was told the incorrect size of wood to bring. He did replace 2 parts and adjusted a chain, (was too loose), and the arm (was too tight). My husband loves that the garage door works but is not thrilled that it is not centered. He framed the door as best he could (I had told the tech that we would handle this task since it seemed like a never-ending process). The door doesnt look quite as off-centered because of my husbands excellent carpentry skills. Alas, just got off the phone with the credit card company. Guess who charged me TWICE for the new door and installation? (They did find and correct the error PRIOR to my call to Chase.) Wow. Just wow.
I had a challenging low-headroom installation and was extremely picky about the design and color of my doors. The finished doors are gorgeous, black-painted cedar with a beadboard design. The installer did a great job. They work flawlessly and are amazingly quiet.

I damaged my garage door with my car. DS had installed a drive some years ago and I was pleased with their work. This time, I was happy as well. I could have been sold a new door, which DS quoted on, but they also gave me an option for repair at a lower cost, which is what I did. The door works great. The guys who did the work were great. Id always go to them and would recommend them to others.

It was probably the single worst experience I have ever had with a home purchase of this size. The door was over $4,700 and the way in which I feel I was treated as a customer and how it was handled by door systems was terrible at every turn. Door was custom made up in Canada so the lead time was 6 weeks. No issue. Door shows up and its the wrong site. Needs to be reordered. Mistakes happen. Second install attempt the installers are rude and careless. So rude to me it almost got to the point where I asked them leave. But at this point I just wanted my garage door. After this guy is done being jerk it turns our they dont have the right hardware and need to run to the store. When they leave some of my doors hardware falls off their truck into the street. They had no idea, luckily my neighbors find the brackets and bring them back. After 3-4 hours they realize they also have the wrong weather stripping and cant finish the job. Few days later they come back to finish and they cant, again, because of the wrong weather stripping. While there though they asked to borrow my chop saw because the last guys did such a bad job. I finally have to reach out and complain, my sales guy is the only person to get back to me (even though I requested to speak to a supervisor) and apologizes for all of the issues, I asked for some kind of compensation since I have now missed 3 days of work waiting for the install. He says he cant do anything. I write an email detailing my experience to Garaga Corp, next day I am issues a whopping $250 credit on my $4,700 door. 5% off. WOW.Door is now finally installed but the new weather stripping is not as large as the old weather stripping and now I need to paint around the garage. Not a big deal at all but it would have been nice to have been told that at the beginning of the process. I cannot stress enough to anyone looking to get a garage door, STAY AWAY from Door Systems. Plenty of other guys that can sell you Garaga brand door and I am sure do a fine job the first time and treat you like you should be treated.
