I called and spoke to Don. He was VERY helpful and got the tires I needed and out in a fairly timely manner. Also shout out to Marc and the other guys in the tire dept. They were busting their @$$ to get customers helped. And a big THANK YOU to the lady in Electronics that actually answered the phone and went to get Don on the phone. All in all a good experience. The whole store is just WAY UNDER STAFFED!!!
Needed tires. Came here for tires. Could not get tires.I came here needing a set of four new tires. Before I ever made the trip, I attempted to call ahead and schedule an appointment. Id say no answer, but its actually worse than that. A machine answered my call, kept me on perpetual hold while reassuring me that my call was very important to them, and then about 10 minutes later told me that my call could not be answered and hung up. This has happened every time Ive tried to call them. Strike one.So I decided, whatever, Id just drive up there and see if I can get some service in person. I managed that much, but it was then that I was informed that they could not install tires due to a lack of certified techs. Apparently, they only had one certified tech and two trainees, so they could only do oil changes and such. Strike two. They told me I could make an appointment and get my tires put on another day, so I figured Id try that option. When I asked for a time after 4 PM due to having to work until then, I was told that they close at 4 PM due to the tech shortage, despite the website staying that they close at 7. So the appointment option was also no good. Strike 3.In summary, if you need an oil change or whatever, Im sure they can made a decent go at that. But if you need tires, go elsewhere. 0/10, would not recommend.
40 miles from home I Pulled in the lot with a wedge under my valve stem keeping air in it. One car in the bay 3 bays empty and only 2 other vehicles parked in parking spaces out in the lot. I go inside to have the associate tell me We dont take walk ins and were booked. I ask so you cant help me even though im sitting in your lot with a flat? She says NOPE and walks away. I left and reaired the tire at the gas station and luckily I made it to get one elsewhere.
Tire blew out on our camper. Internet said they open at 7. Pulled in at 6:15 and napped in the parking lot til 7. Went to the door and found it locked with sign saying opens at 8. Went inside, killed 30 minutes before my husband strolled on back to the automotive only to find that they had indeed opened at 7, just “never changed the sign” and apparently don’t unlock the door either. Husband gave them our rim and the lady told us we would have to wait 1 hour 10 minutes and $110 for a new trailer tire. Went outside fooled around hooking up a DVD player for the kids. Husband went back in later to check on the tire. They were trying to sell him rim and all from the shelf. We thought they were putting a tire on our rim. If not, why did we have to wait and hour and 10 minutes for them to pull that off the shelf and hand it to us to put on ourselves. I would like to thank the gentlemen who told us about Big O tire a mile down the road. We are receiving excellent customer service there!
Tried calling them for over a 45 minute period and no one picked up. Had a battery question. I give up and drive 30 minutes to get a new battery because it was cheap (ill give them that) and was told to bring back the core. I did that. Two hours before they close. No one was there. So I called. No one answered. I went back the next day again, two hours before they close and one of the bay workers said They already took the till and closed down because we are short staffed. There were three people working in the bays and NO WORK being done. I finally got in touch with the store manager who is going to refund my money for the core battery but there is no way I am ever going back there.
If you are ever unfortunate enough to come to this Walmart for any auto work, make sure you have absolutely nothing to do that day because they take absolutely forever for any service. I came to get a 4 new tires put on and was told it would take an hour, hour and a half at the most. I have now been here for 2 hours and my car is still being ‘worked on’ while another gentleman told me that he was going to have to wait at least two hours to get an oil change. Make sure your schedule is clear before coming in here, because this will never be an in and out situation.
I was unaware that it took 4 guys to work on one tire and it still take over 3 hours to get the job done. The customer service in the auto center was completely awful. The person working the desk was so out of line and rude taking person calls while waiting on customers and had the audacity to act like it wasnt her problem that it was taking so long. She shouldnt be the contact person in auto if shes going to act like her job is hell.
Dropped of car for 2 new tires to be put on. Shopped for 1 1/2 hrs checked out with groceries. They were still not done with the car. Stood there and watched the associate talking to another associate instead of finishing up with my car. Finally complained after another 15 minutes of waiting. I understand if your just slammed with work. But not when your just chit chatting while Im standing here waiting with 200.00 worth of groceries, and a 35 minute drive to get them home.
I stopped in for an oil change around 4:30. When we came into the back door, there was a sign saying the hours were til 5pm instead of 7, as usual, til further notice. So, ok. I go in, wait a solid 5 minutes til a lady comes to assist me. It was 4:28, she told me it was too late to get an oil change due to the 5pm closing time. I suggested that on the printed flyer it should state the time that the last car will be brought in for the evening. I also suggested that they didnt use the abbreviation of LTE in the notice, most folks dont know that means Lube Tire Express. This was frustrating. The lady obviously had an attitude about my response, but that entire exchange could have been avoided if all the information was provided. I almost always avoid Walmart anymore because the employees could care less about customer service and I hate the self scanners. I will say this; I wait tables and bartend. My restaurant closes at 10 pm. If you walk through the doors at 9:58, I might not like it, but I will greet you with a smile and give you the best experience I can. Walmart could use a few lessons in customer service and courtesy. Thanks.
My wife took our van here for a tire that wouldn’t hold pressure and to rotate our tires. After three hours of waiting The mechanic told my wife that they couldn’t do anything. Said that the tire wasn’t the problem and that the shocks were messed up displacing more weight and causing the tire to flatten. When she left on her way to school she noticed that now the steering shakes which it did not do before taking it to Walmart. Instead of going back for more poor quality work I took our van to tire discounters which was able to fix the flat tire by replacing the valve stem. Thank goodness my wife didn’t agree with Walmart and get all new shocks. These are the mechanics people warn you about and we will never go back. Come to find out a friend went to the same store and had the same issue with steering shaking after leaving walmart. They’re scamming people, beware!
DO NOT GO HERE!! These workers are idiots!! Most of them stand around looking lost, and when something goes wrong they have no idea who is even responsible. Takes them 10 years to get a simple job done and can’t even do it right.
Went for an oil change during normal business hours, and the department was closed due to short staffing. Now sitting at Valvoline, who clearly knows how to appropriately staff their shifts.
They need to teach Shannon some customer service skills Just because you hate your job don’t be nasty with customers I didn’t make you choose Walmart Tire Lube Center !
Lazy people with very terrible attitudes. The one star is for the fair pricing.
Superb and speedy. Very helpful and kind
Was told it would be 30 minutes for an oil change. I was the first person there at 8 am, & it took 4 hours. DO NOT GO HERE!
The lady at the counter was rude as hell, never again! She looked at me like I was stupid, yet wasnt explaining anything to me. I wish I could have punched her in the throat but I kept my composure. -jackie
If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never buy my tires at Walmart again. The customer service is horrible.
They open at 7, and no one was even here until 8. Mind you I was the first customer here at 8, its been over an hour and I am still waiting on my car.
I went to get oil change and employees werent very friendly and took almost 2 hours for oil change.
Long waits and poor service, What more do you want?
Great fast work
