I went in to look at a used boat they had listed online. My wife and I stood at the counter for a good 10 minutes while staff walked right by us without acknowledging we were even there.

Glema Cash·I purchased a boat from South End boats on a consignment from a 20 year customer of theirs. This family owned business at some point of being the only shop to handle any repairs to the boat is responsible for the block being cracked. This business doesnt tell the 20 year customer and puts some JB weld on it. Send the customer on his way with a damaged boat. The customer now 71 years of age is done boating, reaches out to this family owned business to sell it for him. They advertise it, I drive from Indianapolis to their location to buy it. They never disclosed to the 20 year customer they damaged his boat and rigged it to be fixed. They will not make it right by replacing the motor that they let crack during a bad winterizing job, as they are the only ones to ever service that boat. The previous boat owner feels very bad because they let him sell the boat damaged without disclosing it had an issue. Wow what a way to show your appreciation to that loyal customer. How many more people do they take advantage of. Now lawyers have to get involved. They own mariners marina as well, a motor is nothing to them. BAD BUSINESS. Please share to keep anyone else from being taken advantage of.

I took my boat in and received a $200 quote to have the work done. When I came to pick up the boat it took over $400 before he would release the boat (He used so much electrical tape youd think he had stock in it!!!) with sub-par quality work. BEWARE!!!
