“I recently added a line caddy to help organize my lines and assist with docking, they’re game changers!! My wife can easily grab the spring and bow lines as I pull in, and I can grab the stern line and neither of us has to jump off the boat!!!! Much safer and a whole lot more stress free, especially with new boaters helping out!! Love em!!!
We love our Line Caddy! We’ve placed it at the top of our finger, and we hang a double ended spring line on it that connects to the front and mid cleats. Grab the line and we are in. Makes docking a piece of cake! Several of our dock mates use it as well. I highly recommend it!
I love this Line Caddy. I attached to a deck with screws and was great help landing the bow line. But, my marina went crazy after they saw that I drilled into their dock and told me to remove it. I found a solution. I attached heavy metal plate to the bottom of the caddy and now stands by itself unattached to the dock. Now I have the line ready every time I come back to the marina and docking of the boat is a lot less hassle. No jumping of the boat in rush to get the line.
I operate a sailboat charter company in Chicago and all of our boats use Line Caddies for our dock lines. Makes docking safe and easy. Highly recommended.
I originally thought that I didnt need it, but was proven very wrong when the tide changed. With a sportfish model that is several feet above the dock it makes going out with just my wife a whole lot easier. I dont have to worry about her leaning over the bow rails with the boat pole.
Well built item, makes returning to our slip a breeze with no dockside assistance! Thanks
Great Idea, but way over priced!
Broke but company made it right.
Had one installed this summer. Simple design & sturdy. Sure makes things easier especially if you have a less experience crew aboard.
