I did not buy a vehicle but I did have the service department work on my Duramax and although they did fix my truck eventually... it took two months to do it. There was no communication from the service department at all!!! The only way I knew anything was when I called up there and asked questions. If I had anything to suggest it would be to communicate with your customers.....

After having a not so positive experience and given the run around at another dealership we decided to shop at our local Chevy dealership. We fell in love with a car on a Louisville Neil Huffman lot but it was no issue at all getting it to Frankfort at all as it arrived the next morning. Angie helped us every step of the way and was an amazing help and very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I also want to thank Scott Easterling for his help going over warranty and what would fit our needs best, he is a great friendly person, as was everyone else at this dealership! This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience with this dealership. The service advisor Justin and Bobby is friendly, but not very responsive with calling back or and giving updates on my vehicle.Set an appointment to have my car serviced for several different things, recalls and maintenance issue. I was told it would be 2 weeks to get a recall part in, it’s now 6 weeks and still no call update on the part. I also had to schedule an appointment for service because my car was cutting off before any recall part was received. I was told it would be 2 weeks before my car could be looked at when I should already had something set up. This was a very bad experience and this the second time I’ve spent money to not have my issue resolution with this dealership. I’m still waiting on a recall part if it ever come in.

Toma was awesome! She listened to what I wanted and called as soon as one was being taken off the truck. She did most everything over the phone and when I arrived I was in and out under two hours with the vehicle I truly wanted.

Every visit I am treated respectfully with great hospitality. Im in and out quickly with no fuss. Very reasonably priced.

Been here for about 2 hours for a simple oil change. Very ridiculous to be made to wait this long. Waiting area and hospitality area is very poor. Needs to have cookies or chips or something out for customers if you are going to have them wait 2 hours for a simple oil change. Will not be back here.

July 2, 2021 we bought our new (to us) Chevy Silverado 3500HD from Neil Huffman Chevrolet in Frankfort Kentucky! Why the exclamation point you ask? I had an appointment to look at new vehicles. I didnt think I didnt they would be able to help. I was approved and got into a newer vehicle that surpassed my expectations. They where not professional I took my new truck there they took over 2 hours for a oil change. While I was waiting for my truck I got up and walked around the building they had my truck in a building look like you will keep rabbits in. The guy was backing my truck up and hit a box. He did not know that I was the owner of the truck and I was watching him as he pull forward he went back and almost hit a motor that they had sitting on the floor. I told to do to stop he said I have this man I told him immediately I am the owner of that truck. Than his eyes got bigger than a deer that saw headlights! I am very not satisfied I hope whoever use them have better experience than we did!

I took my 2010 Camaro SS in for service to Neil Huffman Chevrolet in Frankfort, KY. Before I showed up, I called and spoke to Bobby in service department. I explained that I didnt have a ride home and asked if they might be able to help. He said not to worry and just to show up and held true to his word even though I showed up nearly at closing. Afterwards and throughout the time they had the car Bobby was extremely communicative and helpful, making sure that everything got fixed perfectly and calling to discuss next steps regularly. The shop even had to buy a new machine to perform oil pressure testing in order to figure out the root cause for my issue. I will definitely be returning here any time I need service even though it is significantly out of my way. They go above and beyond expectations.

I Purchased a Truck towards the end of last year and have only been able to drive it about a month. I was assured that it passed numerous multi point checks. I test drove it and everything was perfectly fine. A week later after purchasing the transmission went out and had to be replaced, Also find that the lower ball joints are bad, and all of a sudden a major oil pressure issue thats been fixed three times now and still an issue. I most assuredly will not be doing business with this dealership again and would advise that anyone else also avoid this place. I wish i would have listened to the reviews i saw

Where to start! Being an out of state purchaser can be a very big decision, with tons of unknowns. In expanding my search for a new 2021 GMC 3500 AT4, I was forced to expand my search well out of my comfort zone and to the tune of a 350 mile radius. I found my truck at Neil Huffman, late nite, put my request in and got things rolling. From the very first phone call I knew I was onto something different. Maybe the southern accents drew me in or maybe it was because I’ve had terrible experiences in my own state that I felt the need to do something out of my comfort zone. Either way, I was very optimistic from the very first call.....I explained my wants, my needs and I wasn’t disappointed. Once all the money detail was sorted, it was time to figure out how to not only get my trade vehicle down to their dealership, but 2 others as well......4-1/2 hours away, not your average run up to the corner. They sent 3 drivers up to my home, we went over a quick game plan and we were on the road. Upon my arrival, mind you, the dealership closed at 8pm, I was 30 minutes past close, I was greeted with smiles, politeness, friendliness and to top it off, a big red bow, balloons and my brand new truck all shined up and ready to go, nothing short of amazing granted my birthday was the following day. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, my car was brought inside 25 minutes later and then it sat for another 10 minutes before going back to be serviced. I did not leave until about 1 pm and then I had to step back in because my oil life gauge was not reset, this is the second time I have had an oil change were they did not reset my oil life gauge. The service advisor on duty was very nice and he came out and reset it before I left the dealership. All in all it was a good visit.

Wont negotiate on used vehicles at all! Sales lady kept saying they want to earn my business, but didnt show it. Basically said pay our sticker price or kick rocks! Hows that earning someones business? Horrible experience!

Gave them a 2 star to be nice. Conner has terrible communication. Can’t accomplish very simple tasks like ordering an extra key. Can’t provide me a quote for shipping. Doesn’t respond when he says he’s going to. Sent title to DMV over an hour away from us. I buy over 10 vehicles annually for my business and Neil Huffman officially is on the bottom. Conner claims they have a new parts manager so he’s struggling to get an extra key. So much story line and laziness and unorganized it’s incredible.

Angela, from the sales department was wonderful to work with! Car buying can be a hassle & no one wants to spend their entire day at the car lot - She was great to give us as much information as possible over the phone, before we made the two hour trip to test drive a Chrysler Pacifica. Let me start off by saying that I would give 10 stars if I could. I inquired about a car from out of town. I had the pleasure of dealing with Todd Porter and Stephanie Nantz. Todd displayed a heightened sense of urgency in regards to the vehicle I inquired about. He took my info and came back with options very quickly. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted, stayed in contact with me on a constant basis with whatever I needed. I drove to the dealership, not only did he have the vehicle ready, but he and Stephanie had all my paperwork ready to go. They even went above and beyond to overnight a sentimental piece that I left in my trade-in. Not only that but they were very quick to respond to inquiries I had days AFTER I purchased the vehicle. They were very kind and you could tell they are people people and truly gave me an experience of being assisted with a vehicle that I wanted as opposed to being sold. I truly appreciate it guys and would recommend them to anyone and look forward to another purchase from them in the future!

EDITED to add post experience:When we made the deal on our equinox I noticed some water in a tail light. I was reassured it was just condensation but if it were to become a problem they would fix it ASAP. Fast forward a couple weeks later, after a rainstorm, it was def leaking. We called and the service department told us to bring it in, they verfiied it was leaking and said they ordered the part and it would be the next week before they could fix it. The guy said he would call as soon as the part arrived and get us fixed up, no one ever returned a phone call to us at all.Fast forward 3 months later our equinox broke down and was in the dealership for a month. One moring it would not start, road side assistance had to come and jump me a couple of times. We immediatley called Neil Huffman to bring it in to see what the issues were. We called SEVERAL times just to be transferred and hung up on. After not being able to connect with anyone at Neil Huffman we opted to call the main Chevrolet dealer hotline. They connected us with Dan Cummins and they were nothing but wonderful, while it did take them a month to fix the issue with an almost brand new car, they were great with customer sercive and making sure we had a loaner vehicle in the mean time and they fixed our leaking taillight! Since being fixed we have had no issues with our car but we have needed to get it serviced/oil changed. When we bought the car from Neil Huffman, we were promised 3 free oil changes with our deal but of course you cant get anyone to answer a phone at that place! So we opted to go back to Dan Cummins again and they were again wonderful. I will NEVER go to Neil Huffman Chevrolet and have to deal with the headache. Dan Cummins is the place to go!My husband and I recently made a purchase here and the service was phenomenal. Before going in we scanned their website and found an awesome deal on a 2020 Chevy Equinox. My husband wanted to call the day before we planned to go in and asked some questions. We were quickly connected with Angie and she answered all of our questions, even after hours, as well as getting the whole process started. We were able to get all the paperwork together on our end the night before. The morning we arrived, the equinox we wanted was sitting up front with a VIP card with our names on it. It made us feel like our business was truly wanted. From Angie to the staff in the back who helped, the whole process was so simple.We were taken care of from the first phone call to the end. Great service department! We were traveling cross country in a hurry but needed the first service on our truck. They fit us in first thing in the morning, did the service and noted a minor recall on our truck, which they checked with us with on before performing, knowing we were in a hurry. They also advised us that the first service on our truck was free, which we didn’t know, so we were not charged anything. The service manager we dealt with could not have been more accommodating or helpful. It was a great experience.

The greatest experience Ive had in my life, purchasing a vehicle. We arrived late, but that didnt hinder the team. They worked diligently with us until we agreed upon a price. The work was fine...it was the charge that I was not happy about. A few months ago I had brakes put on my car; at the time I felt the price was too high, but the car needed brakes. I know that I am old and tend to think in terms of pricing from the 70s, but $35.00 to plug a tire is crazy. The brake job was overpriced too. The car needs a radiator flush; I was quoted $190.00. I called elsewhere and the price is $99.00. Where do you think I am taking my car? Bobby Toll has advised me on my cars for years and I trust him; he has always been fair and I hate to lose his advice, but I am on a fixed income and have to watch my pennies!!!!

I bought a truck from here they took good care of me. Gave me a good price on my truck and were priced fairly on their’s. No need to haggle or play the game we were able to just test drive and do the deal. Will come back.

I have been in the auto industry a long time and have done it all from sales to management. Neil Huffman is among the best of the best. My salesperson Toma worked extremely hard here, didnt bs anything, and made it all a GREAT experience. Along with Toma our Finance lady Stephanie knocked it out of the park. I have plenty of experience myself in finance and she pulled a miracle. After things went south with my EX my credit had dropped below 600 yet Stephanie still got us out the door with less than 5% on the rate. It was an absolute homerun all the way around and I am very very grateful.

Yet again, Steve Al-Jabiri has exceeded all my expectations is providing me with the total package deal. He connects me with sales people that educate me, and take their time with me. I never felt rushed or pressured in any way. This is my 5th car with Steve Al-Jabiri in 3 years, and each experience is somehow better the last. Each one is my best one yet. Ryan my sales guy was by far the most educated sales person I have ever dealt with. This man KNOWs the product he is selling. That means everything. I always ask every car salesman what car they drive. If they dont drive the make they are selling, I dont believe in them. Ryan drives a GM product and knew everything I threw at him. I came back a couple days later with new questions, Ryan was with a customer but Lauren stepped in, took the time to take me to my car and answer my new questions. Steves team NEVER disappoints.

Snooty awful people. Treated like we were socially sub par... Took a vehicle to be diagnosed, they flashed it then called and said still broken. I said I needed diagnosed... Charged me two more expensive labor hours to tell me maybe its the computer... Thwn argued with me they they completed a job. Ill take my buick to Lexington next time.

Great customer service! Just purchased a used minivan at a great value. Larry was our sales representative and he was very informative and patient when we needed to discuss things alone and when we had a lot of questions. Purchasing a vehicle whether new or used can be nerve wracking but we got through it and the company was very forthcoming and transparent with us.

Service was quick, but my tires were super overinflated when I left. They are supposed to be 35 lbs. I had to bleed them back down or have a blowout on the highway.

Girlfriend & I had great service. Long time employees proves that long term service really pays off.

I don’t usually write reviews unless I feel it is well warranted. Buying a car is never fun. Point blank. But I had the privilege of a mr Eric potter helping me and my wife, we traded in our vehicle and bought a new one, he made it completely painless and we did not get completely screwed. We got a very reasonable price. Cheapest around and the customer service speaks for itself. So I just wanted to shout mr. potter our officially and tell him thanks again.
