Went to this store today with some old jewelry and a necklace which was brand new and included diamonds. For the older jewelry he said it was all 10 carat which was NOT the case there was some that was 14 carat. The necklace which had .75 carat of diamonds was said to be silver which again was not the case. It was White Gold. Their offer for the old jewelry was $250. We went to another jewelry store with the same rings and was given $450 and told there was some that was 14 carat. The supposedly silver necklace with diamonds brought in over $460. Nice to go to get a second opinion.BEWARE!!!

This place has been my go to store for over 20 years in both Frankfort and Lansing for watch repair, watch battery replacement, and jewelry purchases. The quality and purity of products cant be beat. For first time went through the process of having custom jewelry made recently. Excellent communication over the phone and via text messages, with frequent updates on the status of the ring. Staff even had me check over the sample molds to make sure the design would be what I expected. Their pricing is extremely is competitive, at least 30% less than what other jewelers would have charged me for a ring that was not as pure as what Crescent offers. They went through all the options that were available within my budget, and did not try to push any upgrades on me that would have taken me above my budget.

If you want quality diamonds and jewelry, go to Crescent. Bill Crescent is the most reputable diamond and jewelry dealer in IL. Only the best!! Ask for Bill.

This is the best jewely store in the area. They have a great selection and wonderful prices. I sold some rings and Bill gave me the best value for them. I also went back and bought a beautiful Diamond ring at a great price! I would highly recommend this store. Everyone is also friendly and helpful there. I give them 5 stars!!!

So glad I checked out all the reviews before I decided on where to go for advice!! First visit was spent with Karen who was so patient and kind enough to explain to us how to determine the value of some jewelry we were holding, as part of a family estate. Most places wont give you the time of day, let along look at each piece and give their opinion as to their true value. We had no idea if we were holding precious stones, gold or junk!! We were not looking to unload it but rather to find out just what we had. Karen we suggested we come back and let the owner also take a look and give us his opinion. We did return and he was just as nice and helpful. I felt so good about this visit that I decided to leave my wedding ring with them for some work. All this great service and we were not even shopping. Not many places like this anymore. I will definitely return to make my next jewelry purchase!! Thank you!

I brought in some Vintage Barbies to be evaluated! I found them to be very vague and not very friendly! I would never recommend this jewelry store to anyone! Maybe, if you had money but if you are a regular working person, they didnt give me the time of day! Very sad!

I brought my Pandora bracelet in to get repaired. The first question was “Did you buy this here?” I replied “No, it was a gift from my children, I don’t know where they purchased it. However the last time it broke, my daughter brought it here to be repaired and when I picked it up I purchased a new bead.” After replying no when asked if I had the receipt or knew who helped me, I was told I would need to take it back to where it was purchased.My take away from that experience is that they don’t want new customers or know what customer service is. DO NOT waste your time here!!! Find an establishment that cares about you and wants your business.

Bill and his staff are remarkable!! They helped my daughters fiance design the perfect ring for her in a short amount of time. Bill was extremely patient helpful and soothing in a very emotional time. I will only go to Bills for any jewelry I purchase. Thanks Bill and Staff!! Peggy

The staff are always very friendly. The offer competitive prices whether if you are buying or selling. As a coin collector Rick is always working with me to get the most for my money. Its really nice you can pay for coins using credit, debet or cash. Almost all the coin dealers i know you can only pay with cash. So being able to pay with credit or debit is a very nice feature. The store always has a clean and friendly environment setting. High recommend to all who want great prices and above and beyond service.

DO NOT GO! DO NOT TRUST!I posted a real review on Yelp back on 3/8/2015. Now suddenly, two months later my review and ALL NEGATIVE reviews have been pulled! Why? My guess and from what I have seen and now know is that Crescent Jewelers paid and bought AD space on Yelp and flagged all their negative reviews, so they could be pulled. Must be really scumming people. Cheats, you would say. So fare warning! Do not trust all their positive reviews from their friends, workers, and/ or family. This would be one of those times you should believe the BAD over the good. Below is my original review that was posted on Yelp. The truth must hurt for them to go so far out of their way to have them or to try and have them all removed. Disappointment after disappointment. I went several times to get Pandora charms and they never have what you want or have it in stock. This last time the girl was rude and gave me the bums rush, like she had something else better to do than to wait on customers.Besides the fact she was dressed as if I was visiting a strip club, rather than a professional jewelry store. I should of went to Jareds and eventually did. Jareds had the items and in stock, not rude, wanted my business and were professional. Please go somewhere else other than Crescent Jewelers.

Nice salespeople, but very uneducated. Do not know what stamps on gold or rings mean, walked in with 14K P (14 karat plum, aka 14k solid) and sales people assumed it was plated. Not until after a more experienced employee walked out did she know. Also will not test other stones, just diamonds. Tried to offer $40 for a Diamond and Ruby necklace that I was just told, then sold for $2500 after they did not test the stone, just assumed it was a garnet. News flash like diamonds, other stones come in different shades as well, please use your equipment and test properly. Would not recommend this place to anyone seems very shady and like they just want to low-ball you or just have no idea what they are talking about. Very sorry for anyone who sells to this place, please do more research yourself and protect your family members from this kind of treatment like I did, Crescent offered $200, sold everything for $3600.

Very rude and uneducated. I had a coin and already did research on it and found out what it was and what it was made out of before i went into the store and they told me it was from a totally different country and said it was worth nothing. Which isnt the case. But he claimed he knew what he was talking about

Horrible experince for our first time coming to this shop my girlfriend and i went into the shop and greeted by a very nice lady we had asked to get a ring that i found at a park checked out no big deal or anything, so she goes and tells this other person to come out and check it out. So she did and she was by far the most ignorant lady i have ever met from acting appauled at the sight of a fake ring to ACTUALLY saying to my girlfriend do you really want to look at that ring,its not like youll beable to afford it.... No lieing when i say this.. a very terrible first experience.
