Great food and service. Clinton County staple

The line is so very long plus they hardly ever give you the total before you get to the window to pay and pick up. Usually always good though.

A little pricey and long wait, but the best soft serve ice cream.

Nice little covered area with picnic tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream witch is pretty good. Like to stop after a nice ride on my bike.

Very consistent on the tast of their food. Very good! One small detail about the ice cream cones....I wish they would fill the cones up with ice cream from the very bottom so they wont be so top heavy. Best chocolate cone topping around! Hope they never change that! ♡

The staff was rude but I kind of get why. Every time you go there, its completely packed, sometimes so far that its blocking the main road. They are probably overworked and you can clearly see it. Theyre even asking to hire people right now. I feel like this needs to be addressed. The food was good, dont get me wrong, which is why Im not giving them 1-2 stars. Probably why they are so busy is because of the fact that this is the only decent and cheap place to get some good food. But if they get that much business, they really need to either relocate or figure out their drive-thru to ensure that it doesnt block traffic.

Luscious Chocolate Sunday, Mouthwatering Vanilla Cone, thick and icy Milkshake with chocolate and peanut butter. But there were also savory treats like my first corn nuggets. Our nostalgic visit was met with a particularly polite, patient and happy staff.

I grew up going to Milky Way! Its got a small home town feel all wrapped up in your favorite milkshake! County popular for their amazing tacos. With the added drive thru they have even added convenience! Its a must have for most Clinton County resident! Give it a try, pick your own combination milkshake and you be the judge!

Tried the strawberry flurry...Update... Try the Red Hot flurry, will not be disappointed...Definitely recommend the Milky Way!!!

An absolute staple since childhood. I make at least one trip in every time I’m back from the east coast. Their tacos, taquitos, tenderloin sandwich, and Reuben dog are my go-to choices typically. Classic.

Omg so good! Ive tried a ton of ice cream places and they dont come close to Milky Way at all. Wait times can be 20-30 minutes so thats definitely a downside but theyre well worth the wait.

Visiting family and had to stop by for a cone with vanilla. It was very good and a big serving. My husband would go to The Milky Way as a teen.

Food was great ! Loved the deep fried mushrooms ! The onion rings were huge and delicious ! Tacos were yummy. Hot ham and cheese was yummy. My only complaint is that it took soooo long! Toooo long! Probably not going back anytime soon.......

My hubby used to go to the Milky way a little boy and get banana splits in a boat dish. They still have awesome icecream. This visit brought back great memories.

Nice little ice cream stand that has a huge menu of food items ranging from your typical drive-in fare to tacos or homestyle meals. Best corn dogs in the state. Authentic vanilla or chocolate Cokes will have you coming back as a return customer. They also have a drive-through now, which helps with efficiency. This place has been a staple of Frankfort summers for many, many years... give it a try. 👍

This is hands down the best Ice Cream Shop in Frankfort!! Even their regular food is amazing! I would recommend their spicy tacos!! Their tacos are not dry at all and their ice cream has plenty of flavor! And flavors to choose from!!

We have been very disappointed with Milky Way this summer. Portion sizes are smaller, the icecream has been melted almost everytime we have received it, and our drinks are completely filled with ice and no drink.

Usually have great chicken tacos. Really good milkshakes. Try the tangerine sherbert cone.

The ice cream was delicious as always but the wait was exceptionally long! It took well over 20 minutes for one flurry, one slushie and 3 vanilla ice cream cones!

No nothing fancy just a typical ice cream Burger shack.

The Milky Way is an iconic drive-in in the Frankfort, Indiana, area. Originally, they served only ice cream, but over the years have expanded their menu. My favorites are the coney dog with its secret sauce, butter pecan milk shakes, and soft serve tangerine sherbet. If you are in the area, you need to try it!

A little mom and pop hole in the wall type place. But appears to be very popular as it was busy when I went. Food was excellent. Service was good. I will stop again the next time Im in Frankfort.

Been going since I was a very young person . I was born and raised in frankfort & now we live in kokomo. my teenage daughter loves the chocolate malts and we love the chocolate shakes. well worth the drove and a little pricey but worth it.

I remember coming to the Milky Way when I was a child. A double scoop cone was $ 0.15 (mid 60s). I brought my children here when they were old enough. Prices have greatly increased and it seems serving size has decreased.Im glad the Milky Way is still in business over 50 years that I know about.

I highly suggest getting their tacos! You can get them hot or mild, though hot is the only way to go. Top it off with a hot fudge shake, mmmm, your day is set for excellence! They have a wide menu that caters to everyones tastes.

Ive been going here since the late 70s I brought my Grandson here today for the first time today. Still pretty good.

Great local hotspot. Dont expect to have the meal of your life here but their menu definitely hits the spot. Love their ice cream and vanilla cokes
