AMF Brothers was professional and easy to work with. We replaced our kitchen countertops with quartz and they had a wide variety of styles available in their showroom and also the most competitive quote. Both the measure and install appointments were completed accurately and timely. Communication with the office and the installers was good. The look and quality of the quartz appear to be excellent. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend AMF Brothers.

We had counters installed through AMF Brothers and we are incredibly pleased with the experience. The price was unbeatable! They had plenty of slabs to preview in the showroom. The gentleman who came to measure our counters was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. The installation crew was very quick and also very friendly. AMF Brothers Granite was a very positive and interesting experience. We were looking for a new vanity top and were unhappy with anything we could find at the big box stores. We found AMF online, their prices for granite and quartz tops was excellent. I called to ask about vanity tops and they suggested that we come up and check out their remnants. For us it was an hour and a half Drive but we thought that it would be the best option for what we were looking for. We brought our new undermount sink and tile samples along for for reference for colors. We were totally amazed by their Remnant room. There were at least 200 slabs of granite and quartz left from previous jobs that were more than ample for the size a vanity top that we desired. The hard part was just choosing. The office staff was helpful but not pushy and helped us with the final selection. The price was at least half of what you would find for a custom vanity top elsewhere. We pick it up this coming Wednesday, a week from the order and I hope to follow up with additional input. So far a great experience.Incidentally they have a state-of-the-art production facility.

So I recently bought an apartment downtown of Oakbrook, and I was recommended this company by my co worker to get my countertops done, 3 weeks later I got my quartz countertops done in the kitchen and also in the bathrooms, beautiful quality and amazing color! The workers were very friendly and very professional! You must check out the warehouse with all the products they have to choose from, and the machines, just wow! Very professional group. We were happy with the process from selection, measurement, thru installation. The price was somewhat below what were were quoted at two other places.The display room carries a large selection of full sized slabs of both quartz and granite. Thumbs up.

I had a really bad experience with this company. There were many mistakes made. The first mistake that happened was the invoice sent was over $1000 over the amount that I should be paying because the measurements were way off in the actual quote sent to me via email after the measurements were done. The measurements were way off, I called to complain and the girls were very rude. I tried to pre-warn them that the measurements were off, They fixed what they thought I said was correct and yet the invoice was still off they eventually got the invoice correct. The day of the first installation they came and the quartz was fabricated incorrectly. Due to the fact that they had removed and disposed of my old countertops I was now left without a sink and countertops for the next five days because they had to re-fabricate with the correct measurements. I was very upset needless to say, with two little children at home this was very inconvenient. I had to wait for a second appointment and the day of the second appointment they arrived four hours late. The manager called the night before the second appointment and threatened to cancel my second appointment due to the fact that he said I was screaming at the office girls instead of him asking what my concerns are and why I am upset. He also claimed that he was the owner of the company and when I asked the installation guys, they said he was a manager. I asked him to put himself in my shoes with two little children and mistake upon mistake upon mistake and instead of anyone of them being nice to me and trying to correct the issue, they were rude and inconsiderate of the position I was in. Instead of an apology, I was told I was aggressive. Dings in the cabinets. Discount was given but not worth the agitation and stress of the whole experience. Run as far as you can away from this company.

AMF was amazing to work with for our granite counter tops. We had received 5 quotes from other vendors and felt most comfortable with AMF after going to their showroom and talking to their sales person plus a great price. She made us feel comfortable with our choice. After a few issues with covid19 keeping us from being able to find a new stove that we needed to have installed before the counter tops got their final measurement AMF was very patient about having to reschedule multiple times. One of the most impressive things about working with them was that we gave them our measurements from two other vendors and when they measured we found out that the other vendors over measure by almost 6 square feet which saved us some hard earned money. This really impressed us on their integrity. All appointments from showroom, measurement to installation were all on time. Everyone was friendly and professional. The two gentlemen that installed the counter tops did an excellent job and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. Just when we thought our service was completed we received a very nice thank you letter from the owner. So many businesses forget how to treat customers, well AMF hasnt. The owner is absolutely horrible to work with! About a year ago they installed quartz countertops that were not even close to what I ordered! They were yellow!! Just because they named it the same color they think it’s ok! We have been working with the owner this entire time to resolve the issue. He lies over and over. He said he would replace. A week before they were scheduled to come he cancelled, he said he would pay half, when we agreed he said no, each time he lowers and lowers his offer! Now he only wants to give us $500 for their mistake. No! He made us take down our previous review or he would not even talk to us. Obviously that did nothing! They will not help you and they will continually lie to you. Now they are stating they will sue us!! Do not trust them!

Do not do it! Should have cancelled from the moment the gentleman came to measure for our finalized quote. Hindsight is 20/20. Ultimately, we went through with it. Installers were late. Nothing was square. Huge gaps between the wall and the countertop, and caulk and epoxy was everywhere.We called and informed them of the job that was done. They came out and determined they needed to redo the entire installation. The reinstall went just as horribly. Caulk was everywhere. They left an inch diameter gash in the finished wall and ruined the cabinet in multiple ways: burnt the finishing with their heat gun, now there are scold marks in the paint of the cabinets, and the cabinet is out of alignment from them bashing and shoving it to try and make the incorrectly sized stone fit.It would all be okay, except we are told that nothing is their fault. We are incorrect and that the cabinets were never level and true to begin with and that they didn’t do anything wrong.We finished an entire remodel before they came. Everything was measured and checked for level and all drawers and doors were installed and functioning perfectly a week before we started the install process with AMF Brothers.We will not be recommending or using them again.Update: We have been waiting for a call from the manager. I agree with the reply, that the best way to come to a resolution is through understanding and cooperation. However, that can only be accomplished through effective and efficient communication. The fact they choose to respond to a review before responding to the issues should give indication to the service to expect. Proceed with caution.

We just got the countertop installed today ... and we are more than happy .. the service provided by the AMF Brothers and the Costumer Service were extraordinary and we are very satisfied.. highly recommend them!

We purchased beautiful granite from AMF. There were some issues with the installation. AMF attempted to resolve these issues. Understand that the granite you buy may not be sealed well. I would recommend buying a quality sealant and applying it yourself after the install. You should insist that all of the glue is removed before doing so. If you plan to have an overhang that is 12” or larger, be sure to install metal brackets for support prior to the installation. AMF will not install brackets for you. Also, run your hand across all of the edges to find any minor chips or cracks that need repair before the installers leave your residence. Check your dish washer to be sure that it is aligned evenly before the granite is glued on top of it. Lessons that you live and learn.

I contracted AMF Brothers for the granite for the bar in our basement. I will say the granite looks good, the experience working with the company has been horrendous. After first contracting with them, I got a call a couple days later insisting that we move up the date for measurements by 3 weeks, but we hadnt even installed the cabinets which I explained. I get a call again the next day and again the day after each time insisting that we let them come measure. When it was finally time to come measure the contractor threw a hissy fit at my wife for telling him he couldnt wear his boots on our new carpet. When the installers came they had the same issue with the boots and didnt have booties to wear. They finally installed the countertop, and again it looks good, but when leaving one of the contractors kept banging his tape measure against the hallway wall and damaged it in two spots. The team was apologetic, but couldnt do anything to fix it. They said to call the office. I did and was asked to send in a picture which I did. I got a response that they were very sorry, but wouldnt do anything to fix the wall. This was not by the installation area and was not from transporting the granite, it was from the negligence of the contractor not paying attention while on the phone. This whole process with the company has been a mess and I would not recommend working with them again.

I ordered three countertops for a three-unit apartment building I am rehabbing. The installation time was changed from 8-10am to 12-2pm which was fine because my workers were going to be there all day. But I certainly cant wait around for them to show up. The counters were installed with no problem but then the office called me for payment, which I thought could be mailed to them or paid online via ACH transfer. I prefer not to use a personal credit card for a business expense so I checked their website for some sort of payment button. While I was looking at their site, my phone rang and I had to take an important call for about 5-10 minutes. During this time AMF office blew up my phone with several missed calls. When I called them back (maybe 10 minutes later) I was told I needed to give them my credit card numbers over the phone (never a safe option) or they would rip out the counters and have to return another day. They lost perhaps 16 to 20 future kitchen counter orders from me per year when they so quickly resorted to threatening me. Is it really so hard to put a payment icon on your website these days? Ill look elsewhere for my next orders.

Had full splash quartz countertops installed. Installation was a disaster and Now I’m left with a sloppy install. Backsplash was put in upside down initially and had to be redone. Large seams, uneven measurements and Knicks in wall (from bringing up counters). Had to speak up a couple times and have things fixed. Missed a couple areas and regret not looking closer. Initial visit the male was very unfriendly.

From the time of the initial deposit, we were placed onto their installation schedule. They kept the exact date, which made scheduling a plumber and preparation time very easy.They arrived on schedule with a well-equipped van full of everything they need to install a perfect job. I needed my countertops upgraded to granite to make the kitchen more attractive prior to a move.Caroline was very helpful with the sale and they were able to turn around from sale, measurements, and install in just 7 business days. The installers also did a great job and price was on par if not more competitive than some of the large home improvement chains. Plus you get more personalized service and emails and calls back in a timely manner.

We had quartz countertops and a SS sink installed in our kitchen by AMF. Having found them on line we decided to take a ride from Chicago (lakefront) and find out the differences from the big box stores wed been shopping at. WOW! what a price difference and much faster turn-around-time. They did all as promised. Quick measurement, installation, as well as great suggestions from the measurement person who also made very functional patterns for odd areas in our kitchen. We were so pleased that several months later we had them do our bathroom. Again, a great experience.

First visit was good and productive looked at remnants slabs and received a qoute, second visit was a wait, two staff members 4 customers...one girl with dark hair 80s bob had a bad service demeanor and second blond more attractivewoman was accommodating and professional. Delivery people showed with out us knowing our delivery date and spoke limited English and were rude and lied about having spoke with me about where to put the granite slab.... receipt clearly reads installation, but delivery people refuse to place the slab atopof kitchen island. I paid the balance over the phone and asked for an email receipt that I never received.Seemingly Random pricing, and inconsistent.

The price at AMF cannot be beat. They offer a great color selection of quartz and granite and allowed me to walk through the warehouse to view the slabs. The measurements and installation were flawless. The owner called to verify the seams in the countertops which was appreciated but unnecessary as they are unnoticeable. Overall, we were completely satisfied and, once again, the prices are unbeatable. The unbelievable pricing on their site is legit.

Not recommended at all! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The counters that were installed have two different patterns, the installation guys left the water dripping and did not inform us resulting in water damage to our cabinets and wood flooring. When I called the guy wouldn’t let me finish a sentence, he was very rude offer no resolution to the problem, said it was my fault for not checking to make sure the water was completely shut off.

The setup was fine he came out showed samples and discussed everything in detail.We visited the shop to see the materials the same day.About a week later he came back to do the template and measure again.I showed him the sink I was going to have installed and gave him the template for the sink.The day of install arrived and they were on time The workers asked me a few questions like where the could setup to cut material and how the back splashes were to go.They would have to remove some of the wall tiles to install the back splash so I confirmed to them what had to be removed and where.I ten left them to do there work about an hour later I went to see what it was looking like and to my amazement the worker had removed tiles from a wall that was not supposed to be removed!!After some thought we elected to have the wall covered in granite now (full back splash) It came out beautiful in the end.This was done at the bid price.They were now installing the counter now and I noticed that the cutout for the sink was wrong even though I pointed it out to Andrew at the start and gave him a template. Also the piece of granite with the cut out was a little short . They said they could make it work if the sink issue was resolved. Now the wait. I waited for over an hour for Andrew to contact me back to discuss the sink issue . After he got a bit unruly saying I should have made sure he saw that the sink had the large sink on the right and not the left. Because of this he wanted me to pay for the piece. I was a bit upset hearing this. I would think it should be the Companies job to make sure they knew what was what. Old saying measure twice cut once!! So after a heated exchange we decided to switch sinks. He would buy my sink and give me one that would work in the counter as cut. Problem solved ?Well not entirely Apparently the workers went to cut a new piece before Andrew could talk to them.Oh one more thing I also asked the worker about the sealer. He also told me to do it every year that it only lasted 1 year.We never got the Piece of Granite we were promised as a cutting board even after repeated calls to his answering machine, but so be it.Bottom LineThe counter turned out wonderful we love it .All in all we are happy with the job, they took away our old counter tops which they were not supposed to do but I asked them and they did.My advice to anyone thinking of hiring them .....1. Get the cutting board before they leave2. Make sure they have the template and know how to use it for your sink3. If you are having any wall tile removed keep an eye on them.My rating ...I would have giving a and bs if not for the few issues

Checked a few places before but did not bother checking any more once I met Andrew from AMF Brothers Granite & Marble. All about getting it done professionally. Job took 9 day total from meeting him to installation. Will post pictures once everything is done. Went with Quartz, price was fair. Andrew comes highly recommended.

I had a very positive experience dealing with AMF Brothers Granite Quartz Countertops & Cabinets. We finished out basement and needed countertops for the bar area as well as a bathroom. I chose a quartz which was very reasonably priced. The company was great in communicating when they would be there for measuring and installationand all the people I dealt with were very polite and professional.

Great deal but horrible experience, lacking in communication so if you go with them just keep calling about any questions you have or if you are unsure about anything otherwise you will just get what they give you. If a piece they cut is unusable they will just chose another and not inform you about the change so if you are using a very unique slab you may not get what you approved (happened to us). Also never was asked for position of sink and just put it where they wanted so yes stay on top of them along the whole process or you may be completely disappointed like we are.

Work was done in two days. Salesman and manager were very helpful and very honest. Gave good advice, stood by price estimate, and followed up. Installers were pleasant and respectful. They worked fast, were very neat, and cleaned as they worked.

Poor customer service and poor communication. They also play the bait and switch game. We purchased countertops and weren’t told that brackets were needed to be installed or that a plumber was requested. The ladies working the phones are habitual liars. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Go to Midwest stone instead.

VERY, POOR, EXPERIENCE! Stay Away.Several seams, in our counter and island. UGLY seam above a double, basin sink. The seam is in the busiest area of our kitchen. The seam is a bumpy, horrible mess. It’s an eyesore.Caroline said they could put the seams anywhere they wanted to, according to their contract.Marta pushed the problem to Anna who pushed the problem to Caroline.Caroline’s message was badly misspelled with absolutely NO HELP.The installers broke a chunk out of the edge of the granite near the stove.Horrible customer service. Horrible product installation.

Very happy with the service and quality of work. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I wish they had some additional variety of granite and Quartz stones. Project was completed from start to finish in 2 weeks including measurement, estimates and installation. Highly recommend their services.

Andrew and his crew were a delight to work with. The service was prompt and professional. The counter top looks beautiful! In addition, they had to return to install a second counter piece that was waiting for the cabinets to be installed first. One month later the crew came out again and installed the second with out complaint or cost. Excellent and I repeat prompt service!

It was really had for me to decide on the color so they took extra time and gave me plenty of advises and their professional opinion on how to pick perfect color and quality. My experience with AMF Brothers was overly positive. Being a single mother, I was looking for the best price and AMF Brothers were able to beat all competition in the six county area, northern Indiana and southern Wisconsin. The best price does not always mean the highest quality of service; however I soon found out that AMF Brothers were superior also in all other aspects of their work. They were accessible, answered all of my questions, and always responded to phone messages and emails in a timely fashion. Despite my location in a far north suburb of Chicago, they were able to come over and take measurements only a couple of days after my initial inquiry. I was prepared to wait several weeks for an actual installation but I asked to squeeze me in if there is an opening. They promised to do so and they kept their promise. Last Friday, my granite countertops were installed and they completely transformed my kitchen. The process of installation was smooth, very professional, and surprisingly clean. Since I had many questions, I learned a lot about granite and its maintenance. Overall, I give AMF Brother the highest recommendations. They truly provide a five star service.Thanks, AMF Brothers!

Andrew came out to our house to measure without a tape measure. Said he left it at his previous estimate which I can believe, but it should have raised a red flag for us. He gave us pricing on a couple of different granite styles that we were interested in. His price was a bit higher than several others that we had received, so I remembered on his website that he stated he would price match and he did. We asked him to keep any flaws in conspicuous places and they left a 3 x 8 black spot right at the end of our island in plain sight instead of in a back corner. This wasnt the end of the world as natural stone has flaws and we could live with it. When the installers came they had mentioned that we should have ordered a back splash for a long narrow section of counter that was a few feet away from the main kitchen area. We originally did not order the back and side splash for that section because there was none previously. The installer said that it would look much more finished with the back and side splash and said that he was sure that Andrew would have a small piece left over from the job to make it. He then installed the piece and left it 1/2 inch away from the wall to be even with the other wall and it would be fine once the side and back splash were added. We called Andrew while the installers were still working in our kitchen. He told me that he did not have anything leftover from our job because he sold the extra piece, but that he would look for another small piece to finish with. I told that I understand that he would have to charge us extra for the additional work. He said the he would call us within a few days. After about a week I called him and he said that needed more time to find a piece, so I told him fine. Another couple of weeks went by and no call. I dont want to drag this out too long but I probably called him a dozen times and he never once called us. Finally he told me he would have to buy another full slab and would charge us $600.00. I told him we were not interested in spending that much for a small piece of material, and asked him to send someone out to at least reinstall the piece back against the wall to fill the 1/2 inch gap that I could slip my fingers through. He said he would call me within a day or 2 to set it up. This is probably 10 minutes work. He has never called me back, and I found another Granite company that had a small piece and they charged us $105.00 dollars to cut and polish the pieces for us and gave us the glue and epoxy to put between the pieces and I completed the job myself in about 1/2 an hour. I would NOT recommend them to anyone!

Caroline, Andrew and the rest of the AMF Brothers Granite & Marble are the team handled the amazing installation in my house.Kitchen, Kitchenette, 3 bathrooms in my house.I have nothing but good words about the team.From design perspective, I have followed every advise they gave including stone selection and finishing.Carolines perfectionism of how to cut the stone, making sure lines will continue on stone transitions, matching color shades. Andrew touchup suggestions for stone leftovers for window ledges which ended up a very nice detail.Their flexibility in handling our general contractor crazy timeline and delays. Putting the effort of working overtime hours to make sure the installation done in time.Giving us advise for areas that our general contractor has failed to mention so that appropriate support for the stone be done before installation.All our guests keep complimenting their work.I am taking this opportunity to thank AMF Brothers team again.From beginning to the end it was a pleasure working with them.

Andrew met me at the local slab yard and we picked out granite. I was very indecisive and had to go back several times to make sure I had picked out the right color. Andrew were very patient and never pressured me into choosing a certain color, which I really appreciated.The installation was very clean and they even swept before they left. Our new counter tops are beautiful. The entire process was simple and surprisingly pleasant. Andrew and Marek were easy to work with. The installers were professional, prompt and so neat. Our customers are the center of our universe Thats until youve paid in full it would seem. The rep was out here on the day of the install and he asked for payment before they finished and everything seemed to be going well. So I paid. Now, I cant get a hold of anyone.The installers were pretty professional and the granite is very pretty. Im not to happy with the way they handled some angles of my cabinets. The counter top does not match the angles. Its a couple inches off. I can live with it I guess but I wouldnt install something like that. Another complaint would be a seam in my back splash. None of my counter tops have a seam. They are all short spans. Why couldnt that back splash not have a seam as well? My final complaint is not being able to get a hold of them afterwards. I feel like they took my money and ran.If they would have answered my communications afterwards I probably would have given them another star.If I were to do it over. Id try someone else. My parents are doing their kitchen now and Im not referring these guys.

We are from Milwaukee and we had our kitchen renovated last summer. After visiting a few local stone shops and big box stores, we decided to hire AMF to install our kitchen countertop, not only because AMF had the best price (almost 50% cheaper than one of our local quotes for exact the same stone), AMF also had a wider collection to choose from. The excellent price did not come at the expense of their service. From the initial in-home measurement, to the actual installation, to later on we found a small stain on the countertop and had them come over to remove it, AMF provided excellent service and always put the customers first. We have no regret that we had to drive 90 miles(one way) twice to visit the store and select our slab. The countertop is beautiful and the workmanship is super!
