Angel the cashier is very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained to me in detail how the rewards program works. The store is usually clean and pretty well stocked. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cheap Quality yet Cheap prices. There are some times where its more expensive then the average retail price but other than that most of the time they have some good prices and a decent vairety of goods.

They changed a lot, use to have better selection than they do now. I preferred the old Big Lots over the new approach.

I suggest you use curbside when picking up online orders because you have to stand in line even though your item is paid for and ready. Also, there was one cashier that did not have a sense of urgency at all.

Stopped in on a recent Saturday to check the place out - had never been to any of their locations. Overall, I enjoyed my experience there. They have a pretty good selection and their prices are very competitive. Was particularly impressed with their furniture selection and prices. They stock a wide variety of things so its definitely worth a look. The presentation/showmanship of the front of the store could use a little work. Most of the nicer items are towards the middle/back of the store. Also, the floors could use a good once over since the building itself is a bit older. I will most likely be returning to this location.

Best place to check out low prices items.

Wide assortment of products available. Was able to get Christmas wrap,tissue,gift card holders and gift bags. Only 1 checkout lane open but as line grew another register was opened. Checkout staff was friendly and courteous.

Good location in a convenient plaza; next to Forman Mills and a Salvation Army. Newly paved parking lot with lots of spots available; merchandise is well-stocked; could use more employees though especially during peak hours

Love the store, but the customer service is really bad. There is never a person on the register unless you call for them. Manager wasnt helpful at all either. It took 3 people to find ONE online order while there was a growing line of customers waiting to be checked out. The cashier didnt know where anything was when asked and overall just bad service. And this was the BLACK FRIDAY yesterday!So sad!

I come here often after work and Im always buying the doggy clothes because they are cute and very reasonably priced. When you ask an employee a question they get frustrated and huff and puff as if they do not want to help anyone. The store is always dirty and things are out of place. I gave 3 stars because they have cute doggy clothes. :)

Needs better Customer service

I got what I came for but I have to say, compared to the Wood Dale store there is no comparison. This is an older run down store with much less selection.

They only had one cashier. Long lines. Very rude.

Didnt have what I wanted. Had no interest in helping me. I wont go there again. Bad 1st time visit.

I called today at 958AM to see if they had something in stock the woman said “yes” but I asked her if she could check the price on it or put one aside for me I’d be there in a few and she said “no no I can’t do that. I have a long line I’m very busy right now just come in and look by yourself they’ll be in the back” her exact words.JUST LEFT big lots, thanks the magnetic blocks you told me would be in there back were no where in site. And when I went it didn’t get real help. Was told to go look at a certain aisle that it was not in. Can’t take the two minutes to take me to the item if you know was surely there. No thanks, couldn’t find it

Friendly staff, good prices though not everything had a price .could be because they were moving things around. But over all a good place to shop on a budget.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE ON A DIET. They practically are giving away snack items. Stuck with healthier snacks, peanuts and other nuts were the lowest I have ever seen. Will be back to buy them out of the party mixes.

Good prices but very rude staff. I went here to buy one item and I was waiting in line with 4 other people and the cashier was no where to be found. Then she walks up to the register and doesnt say a word just starts scanning. Then when it was my turn she just scans my item doesnt even acknowledge me doesnt say hi bye thank you nothing she just looked un happy and miserable with her job. Older caucasian lady with no teeth since she didnt even have a name tag. She needs to be retrained.😡

They have some good stuffCoconut oil and aloe juice is nice.Just have to be careful what you buy. The staff is very nice there.

Was at the store to buy some item 1 of the items dove soap had a sign on it for 2.20 and the cashier told it was 3.50 I ask for a manager he said they was on break and floor personnel is on break too. What kind of service is that I also to him I was going to call customers service he said ok.

If I could rate no stars I would.. The staff here is just awful, not helpful at all also they didnt care to help me. They have boxes everywhere in the back blocking aisles. I went on the website to get a pool, it said they have 4 left I asked 2 different people for help they didnt know anything that was going on. This big lots just sucks I would avoid this store at all cost.

Went for the 20% off Halloween deco sale. Get to the register to be told the items I chose are full price. How do you advertize a sale and sneak items into the same display that are full price? Very deceptive sales practice, Ill shop elsewhere.
