Blaine Service and Supply replaced both a shed and garage window at my home. The garage window replacement was especially a money saver after Home Depot suggested I replace the entire top tier of the garage door as the window was no longer being manufactured.They are easy to work with, flexible in scheduling, provide integrity in their service and are reasonable in pricing. So glad they are in business.

Like the consistency, there.3. The products I needed installed at my place were for a rare size and model. These folks did all of it....and so far.....the products are good.Thank you very much. Had some sliding door screens in dire need of screen replacement. After providing photos and door measurements, they installed the screens (on a blazing hot day no less) in under 1 hour. The screens are installed well, and look great. Will call them again if we need screen or window service.
They are knowledgeable about many Window parts. I needed parts for 20 year old Traco vinyl DH units and they had them in stock, along with the directions on how to replace them. Great place to have around to save old windows that are still to good to replace.

After 45 years, my in-laws moved into a townhouse. Of course, the sliding windows didnt work -- they wouldnt slide when my 78 year old mother in-law tried to open it. When I took the window out, the brass rollers were either missing or completely destroyed. I went to Google, found out that Home Depot carried them, ordered them online and waited. . .and waited. In the meantime, my mother inlaw wanted her window fixed (do you know her?) So, back to Google and found Blaine Service and Supply. Sent them a text, found out they had the part, drove over, picked it up and installed the same night. Thanks to Monica for her help and advice on the install -- really nice! Still waiting on Home Depot! It pays to go local. . .it pays to go to Blaines!

Blaine Service and supply was recommended to me for replacement parts for my Patio door. I went there and talked to Matt, Monica and Emil. All 3 treated me as if I was family. They had the parts I needed and explained what I needed to do. I met the serviceman Joe also on my way home. Very polite, professional and personable. I will take my screen door there for them to fix this week. I would definitely recommend this company for all youre needs.

I gave Blaine Service and Supply a fair chance to earn my business. I requested a part in September and followed their instructions to send an email with photos and measurements. I then followed-up by phone on multiple occasions for the next two months and was told each time there was a delay. I first was told they were behind on fulfilling orders, then they were waiting on their supplier to respond. Each time, they promised they would call me back to let me know if they could get my part. After 10 weeks, I did not receive an answer, so I gave up and found another company who was able to help me.
I have shopped at Blaine many times over the years. They have always been able to help with my needs in a timely manner. Reasonable prices and excellent customer service skills.

Blaine restored my windows to perfection. I sought several estimates to bring my early 1900s bungalow windows back to working order. Blaine exceeded my expectations. Professional, courteous, timely and affordable.
I ordered a storm window over the phone. They asked for a confirming email with the size. I sent it. 10 business days was their completion date. After 10 days, I called. The order was never entered. They gave me all kinds of excuses why the order wasnt placed, including it was my fault for not following up on my email to see if they entered the order in their system. Terrible service, with professionalism non-existent.
They had the perfect replacement part for our 30 year old patio door, like new door now. This saved us hundreds $$$ vs replacement; we are thrilled, service was quick, professional and we are very happy and telling everyone we know.

Finally I talked to a lady on the phone and she said I will have the quote by the end of the day....We never got it. I called again and no answer, I even asked if they cant do the job please let me know so I can look into a new company....NO ANSWER. Moving on bu they kept us hanging for about 5 weeks.

Needed a store front double pane window replaced, these guys we’re able to quote and come out the same day to measure and remove the broken glass.Was about a week before the custom size came in, but that’s normal for a custom size like I needed .The whole process was painless and the crew was professional and did everything on time as the originally quoted. I am having new windows being installed by Feldco. I have a few windows that I want to preserve. The salesman at Feldco recommended Blaine. Well over a month ago, I spoke with a representative of the company, he asked that I send pictures and provide a brief description of the job and that Blaine would get back to me in a couple of days. About a week later, no response. I called and left a couple of voicemails and sent a follow up email, still, no response. I then called and spoke to Monica, again, and was told she’d respond with a quote as soon as she completed a call. No response for a week. I then called again and spoke with a young man, he shared that Monica was on the phone and would call me right back. I then shared my frustration about follow through etc. Afterwards, I did receive an email quote. That was on October 8. I responded to their email with a couple of questions. 10+ days later, still no response. This morning I called and spoke with Monica, again. She shared that she’d call me right back- 6 hours later, no response. This place is a joke.I have never experienced such unprofessional treatment from a local business. I will do my best to share my experience with others. I am not sure who is running this business, I think whoever it is, ought to try and get a handle on just how poorly Blaine communicates.Update: To be clear, the email Monica references that she responded to yesterday (10/19) had been sent on October 3. And then she mentioned that she had customers (understandable) that she needed to attend to - I guess my business is not valued as well? To her credit, she did email me last night and explained her perspective and apologized; this apology apparently lacks credibility. At the end of the day, there is a clear pattern across Yelp, Facebook and Google regarding a number of folks experiencing a similar experience to mine: poor customer service. Im sure others have had positive experiences, I can only share mine. Ironically, I sought out a small independent shop to work with - what I ended up with is checking with another small independent shop. It pays to shop around. Good luck!

Other companies wanted $10,000+ to replace my sliding glass doors. Blaine fixed my doors for a few hundred. That was five years ago and the doors are still working great.
Excellent service; good prices. I had to replace a crank mechanismwhen a pressure ring broke. Yes, you have to replace the whole thingwhen that happens--thats the way theyre manufactured.I sent photos to Blaine, and they matched the part. After I got it, I realizedthe best thing was to have a professional install it. I made an appoint-ment with them and their guy came out and did a beautiful job: in and out,fast and easy.I highly recommend Blaine for window parts and service. It was apleasure doing business with them.
So glad I took a chance and drove over to their location today! They had a version of the part I needed and modified it to the depth my window required so I didnt have to wait for an order to be shipped to them or me. Short wait while they helped other customers. The woman at the desk was really friendly and helpful.They fix screens and windows here, so Ill be back with a few that I dont want to mess with myself.Easy parking right outside their front door on Mannheim.

Terrible customer service.I ordered glass for window on 6/4/20 and explained that I needed the glass as soon as possible because it was for a residential window. The man I spoke to stated that would not be a problem and my order would be ready the next day. He further stated that he would call me when my order was ready.On 6/8/20 I still did not receive a phone call from anyone at the business and called again to inquire about my order. I spoke to a woman on the phone, who stated she would look into my order and call me back in 5 minutes.On 6/10/20 I called again because no one from the company returned my call as they stated they would. I spoke to the man I had previously talked to and again inquired about my order. The man stated that they were busy but my order would be ready soon and he would call me back later today and let me know when my order would be ready.On 6/15/20 I called again and spoke to a man who stated my order was not ready but he would call me back in 5 minutes. Two hours later, I called back and stated that I wanted to cancel my order and he stated that the window will be ready today before 3:00. When I showed up at 3:30 my order was still not competed and not even started. The guy I spoke to on the phone was there and stated he would cut my glass now while I waited.I understand that things come up orders fall behind but to not return phone calls and give the “run around” is very unprofessional.

This store is not accredited with Better Business Bureau, and customers should be aware they are not serious to deal with the customer.I oredered a pair of window part and I never received. I just lost a small amount of money($40.80) but the money is not only the issue here they are not honest about the transaction. I will continue to talk with these people and if I cant get this issue resoved I have to contact the police to report scam.
I have a nice house in Wheaton with a number of windows that need some repair. I called Blaines. An estimator named Joe came to my house in December, 2019 to look at a dozen or more windows that needed some repair. Joe charged me $95 for the estimate but assured me it would be applied to my repair cost. Joe told me I would have an estimate the next day.Two weeks later I realized I had never gotten an estimate. So I called Blaines. A guy at Blaines told me I would have an estimate tomorrow. I said Great! Three weeks later I realized I had never gotten an estimate. I called again. Same story - You will have an estimate tomorrow. I said Thats what you said last time. He reassured me this time I would get an estimate. But I didnt. Three weeks later I called again. This time a lady told me we are having trouble locating parts for the repairs but I should have an answer within a week. Again no return call. After a month I gave up, and this past Sunday I emailed Blaines and asked for a refund of my $95. Three days later, I still have no response.So today I am writing this scathing review. Avoid these scammers at all cost. Either their business is a mess or they are rip off artists. Either way, Blaines is not the type of people I want to do business with. Nor should anyone that reads this.

Dealing with Monica has always been a pleasure as shes helpful, always goes above and beyond to find what I need, and shes always happy and smiling and willing to help. I wouldnt do business with anyone else. They carry everything you can imagine, and if by chance they dont have it, she will find it for you quickly. Yes, you should absolutely do business with Blaine !!
If I could not give a star I would. Went in with a specific part and showed the gentleman who came up to help the exact part. He took the part back and with the help from the woman at the front desk they took 10 minutes to locate it. He came back with my part, said they found the exact part and asked how many I wanted. I told him how many, he handed me my part back and he said it would be in within a week. It took longer than anticipated but I wasnt upset because they were the only ones that claimed they could find it. When we got the new parts they werent exact and was missing a critical part that fixes to the window. Upon us returning the part the lady explains that she had given the co-worker who helped me the part they were ordering and that he confirmed that it would work for me. That never happened. When I told her this she stated she didnt want to argue about it and that she knew what she instructed him to do with a poor attitude. I had trouble with other companies saying they found the part but then the part wasnt correct. I can assure you that I wouldnt have ordered the part if I had the opportunity to see what the part looked like in advance. I also dont appreciate the insinuation of being a liar. Not good customer service.
May 27th Blaine Service was contacted for window repairs.May 29th they came out to do an estimate and charged $95.00.I was told that if I hired them those $95.00 would go towards the final bill.Almost two weeks later weve gotten no estimate and when we call, we would get the run around.Due to tenants not being able to use the windows, I had no choice but to call another company.Not only did this company gave me a free estimate but did the job all in the same day.Shame on you Blaine Service.What would help is if you would refund our money back since the estimate was not produced.
Not sure what to make of Blaines customer service lately. As a window cleaning business owner, for the past few years they have been my go-to place whenever i needed a special part for one of my customers. Monica has definitely been Very Helpful at finding exactly what i needed. In fact, last year she even when above and beyond to have some screen repairs done once she realized the unreasonable amount of time it had taken to get the matching parts that were needed (especially when it appeared to be their vendors fault). Its that kind of Customer Service that i had come to value from Blaine. The problem (& surprise) lately concerns a part that I requested last Fall. Apparently they were unable to find a perfect match, and I was told (after they had checked some other vendors) that they did find one that would fit (although the style would be a bit different). I told them to go ahead and order it and was told they would. I even asked if I needed to put down a deposit, and was told it would not be necessary. I was also told that it should be there in about 2 weeks and that I would be called when it arrived. After not hearing from Blaine for over a month, I contacted them and was told they were having trouble finding the part.Of course I was very surprised because now it started to seem like they were making an excuse. Unfortunately this was only reinforced when I never received a phone call from them (even after leaving messages over the past few weeks). It has also been very frustrating trying to reach them by phone, because most of the time no one answers. So while I certainly believe Blaine is highly knowledgeable and their technicians know much about window, door, and screen repair, my recent experience has led me to conclude that they need to significantly improve their customer service skills. Just thought you all should know,...a disappointed but hopeful customer.
This is a great place to get all of your hardware for windows and doors that might be had to find, however if youre not firmalir with the area, use caution, the village is horrible for issuing red light tickets with out any posters sign.
My Dad went to this place today, because he had a window that needed to get the glass repaired, he dropped off the window there a little bit more than a week ago and he went in today hoping to have the window fixed. He showed the guy the receipt he had and he told them that he wanted the window back, then a lady came from the back and told him that they weren’t going to give him the window and that he had to leave the place. Terrible service and they overcharge for things they can even fix!!
They are simply the best! They always have the parts I need and when they dont, they order it for me. They are also very helpful and always take the time to educate me on a product Im not familiar with. Lastly, they are a family owned business who look out for the small business owners!Super happy with everything and highly recommended!
Should be 10 stars. They showed up on time....went above and beyond in replacing the rollers on my sliding balcony door. The repair was not typical and involved more work than what was expected. Both guys were skilled, personable and friendly - and a plus was their knowledge of the best places for lunch in Chicago and the burbs, LOL. Finding ANYONE to even do this replacement was a task and a half - easier to find someone to sell and install a new door. Found Blaines via a recommendation from Handyman Bill on Angies List. Totally happy with Blaines and you will be too.

Amazing. Prompt and great hearted man fixed my window within 24 hours . He was also kind to the kidos. Removed the glass that was shattered for me too! He left covering the window really good last night at 6 PM. Came back at 930 am . Job was completely in such a reasonable manner that I was able to make an 11 oclock lunchean reservation I had made prior. This company is simply amazing!!!! Thanks Blaine services!!! Blaine Service & Supply did a wonderful job replacing my rusted rollers for my older sliding glass doors in my 3 seasons room. They also reset a glass pane and replace 2 screens. The quote was fair and they were able to complete the work the same day they quoted the work. I called another company before Blaine and they were not even able to locate the correct rollers for the the sliding doors. I would recommend and will be calling them again if I have any glass, window, or screening needs.

Ive been coming to Blaine Service & Supply for over 20 years. When we lived in the city, I bought replacement cranks for jalousie windows and locks for double hung windows.I have casement windows now and three of the locks were broken. (Its a terrible design but it is what it is.) I removed one of the broken locks and went to Blaines and of course they had replacements in stock. I bought three more as back-ups. I had been considering replacing our bay window due to the drafts but after installing the new locks, they seal up just fine now. I figured I saved thousands by installing the new locks.Blaine is a small family business but when it comes to window and door parts and accessories they have a HUGE inventory. My suggestion is to be patient with them. They may take a while to get back to you but they probably have a solution to your problem. There arent many places in the Chicago area that have the inventory that Blaines has.
I would not use them again. I drop off my patio door screen in July-16 and got it back in Sept-16. All it needed was rollers and re-do screen. I never received call from them on progress. I had to call number of times. At the end the final bill was twice as much. When I ask them why so much the girl respond we had to put two rollers. Very rude people. I asked them where did you buy the roller from the cost is high and she indicated they use their own supplier. NO KIDDING, AT THE $120. DUE TO THEIR LACK OF SERVICES I COULD NOT OPEN UP PATIO DUE TO THEM TAKING SO LONG. STAY AWAY
