I ordered fluffy scrambled eggs, I got an under cooked plain omelette the toast only had a fan of yellow oil in the middle oil them, instead of hash browns,I got some kind of little puffed up tatters and the sausage patties were so salty I couldnt eat them.The orange juice was alright and the waitress was a sweetheart,I wanted to take her home.

Nothing special. Food was meh and atmosphere was the same. Generous with the 3 stars.

After waiting an hour for our food the waitress asked the cook about it. He did not even start cooking it yet. I said well if you havent even started cooking it yet I will just leave,to which he said good go ahead. Great way to treat a customer

We had a good tasting meal, with very good,courteous service and reasonable prices in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

Worst place Ive ever been. We waited over an hour for our food with no acknowledgement. We sat at the bar and I could see into the dirtiest kitchen Ive ever seen. Where is the board of health in NH? We saw waitresses drop lemons on the dirty slop rags then put them back in the bucket. If my father wasnt overly nice, I would have left.

Had breakfast with a client at the Franklin location. Good, quick service and she let us work without being intrusive. I had the 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and shredded hash browns. Back a few years ago I could have eaten (heck did eat) the full size portion but now the 1/2 biscuit, sausage party and egg covered in sausage gravy was perfect pairs with the hash browns. Always a go to spot when I am in the area for breakfast as it is reasonably priced with good sized portions.

The service from the kitchen can be slow and the wait staff is really friendly and helpful. You can get a meal for a good price, like the Monday burger special and breakfast is good. I like their biscuits and gravy; the omelets are good and theyll add onions to your grilled home fries but some of the offerings can be lackluster.

Went in on Halloween for a birthday breakfast. Service was terrible. Elizabeth was the server and was rude from the beginning. We paid and even tipped her even though she definitely did not deserve it. I checked my account the next day and learned that the server added $10 to our tip. (Which was completely 100% unauthorized!!!!!)I called and spoke to Nick the owner and he basically did not care at all. I would not recommend ever going here.

We are always pleased with the service and the food is delicious. Its a great local place and a nice family restaurant with decent prices.

Ive been going to this restaurant since I was a child. Its had its ups and downs through the years and through different owners. But its still my favorite place to bring my kids for a nice breakfast or dinner.

The food is good and the staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable. I go regularly. I have had several union meetings here and the staff were very attentive to large groups with great accuracy.

I really miss this place and cant wait for them to re open!I take all my out of state friends here because its like a snnipit of old NH.The food is very cheap, but still great quality. I would go here sometimes twice a week and really miss the old diner feel.Very towny place. Its like stepping back into 1995 when you walk in. Old gumball machines and a community pin board, large long dinning hall, tube tv,and a ice cream bar at the far end. (If they actually oppened it up and set up tables outside they would make a killing right now).Its the kind of place where you get the same waitress and it never really changes.And if you can get past a few quirks; it has that simpler no frills feel I think alot of people are missing.

Had the best $5.00 burger ever. Wouldnt go to McDonalds I feel sick after eating one of their big Mac. Same price and quality fresh food. Thanks for such great service and food.💗

Weve been several times and have NEVER had a bad meal! Friendly faces, wonderful wait staff who pays attention to details and are fast and efficient! Prices are very reasonable! All the aforementioned have made us frequent flyers!

Great Diner Style food... burgers, soups, salads and breakfast is served all day! Their omelettes are my favorite. The wait staff are all very friendly and congenial. A highly recommended place to stop for a true diner experience.

Fish fry on Friday is great. Everything else - not-so-much. The restaurant itself needs a major overhaul.

We happened to go on a night they were down a server. The kitchen staff was helping. While the gentleman that took on our table (2 adults, 1 toddler) was fantastic in his efforts. There were incredible wait times for service, and meals.

The staff there are very nice fast service.

There was only one waitress working so the service was slow but she did an awesome job of taking care of everybody. She apologized several times but was upbeat and was making it work. The food was great and I like the diner atmosphere. It was overall a good experience.

Went and got breakfast the other day with my husband. He got pancakes and sausage links, he’s not picky, and how could you possibly mess up pancakes?!? Sausage tasted like dirt and the pancakes were just gross. My eggs were over cooked and hash tasted like canned dog food. Worst of all it smelled like trash in the restaurant!

Stopped this evening found out new owners. Had 5.00 burger was so bad not cooked. Cold food . Explained to serve issues, she completely understood. No comp on meal. I only was about to eat three bites and burger was raw. Never again. Have been gping there last.7yrs

We visited The Soda Shoppe on Mothers Day, and were surprised to find lots of open tables. After our visit though, the empty tables made sense. When our table finally got a waitress to come over, we were immediately told that they were only serving breakfast, not lunch, today (although it was absolutely lunchtime at that point). When we asked if they had hash browns, she said yes but theyre not serving them today. The breakfast menu was limited, the food was lack-luster, and we didnt get forks or knives until several minutes AFTER our food came, when we chased someone down to finally bring us some. Spoons, however, arrived inside the bowl of dirty coffee creamers. Yuck.

One waitress in the whole place. Very busy...was not her fault. Food was overpriced and not anything special. Probably eould not go again.

My most recent visit wasnt nearly as impressive as many past visits, unfortunately. They had run out of fish and cole slaw on Good Friday, of all days. Perhaps Ill stick to going only for breakfast or brunch.

I just wanted to say me and my family had the worst experience at this restaurant I was highly upset. We ordered our food 20 mins later when we thought the food would be coming out the waitress was finally told by the cook they had run out of the meal my family member ordered so needless to say he had to order something else which our food was ready and then his was not 15 mins later. The cooks were so unprofessional I heard them SWEARING at the waitresses. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I was highly disturbed. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant and would I ever go again. I think the cooks need a retraining as the food was cooked slow and I was watching and they were not organized what so ever.

Absolutely horrible. Service was awful, food was cheap. Sat for 15 minutes servers kept walking by not acknowledging us. Table was dirty. Server finally came over and cleaned it, gave one menu for two people. Brought coffee instead of a water.. messed up on our food. Corn beef hash was from a can. Forgot the second drink. Didn’t acknowledge any other customers who came in. Let a customer sit at a dirty table with customers used plates and cups not cleaned up. Had to find our server just to check out. The bathroom is completely run down... absolutely disgusting place. Never again!!!! Not worth the money or time!!!!! This place doesn’t know hospitality, respect or cleanliness.

It was the perfect stop for me, traveling solo! I felt welcomed and comfortable. The food came fast and was delicious! I had lemon pepper haddock with onion rings and cole slaw, prepared wonderfully and not greasy! Yay! I also liked that the cole slaw is not too drenched in mayonnaise! The waitress even offered me water with lemon to go! Its the little things that keep me coming back! Check it out! Thank you!

Hmmm where do I start? One this place is just absolutely dingy and dirty. We walked in and there were tables filled with nasty old plates. The ones that were cleared hadnt been washed yet. I get it.. it gets busy but not THAT busy haha. Our order came out missing items. My boyfriend got raw uncooked eggs. YUM.. NOT. The bacon was wet and tasted like chimcals. Tried to clear the taste with my water but it literally tasted like a cup of bleach. Such a waste of $25. Never going back!Looking for chemically infused bacon and a cup of bleach?
