My first visit to this H-Mart was a great surprise. I ordered what turned out to be the best Thai Ive ever had! Just enought lemon, noodles cooked or perfection, and flavorful beef. I also bought a Daifuku which turned out to be soft and fresh. Ill definitely stop here next time Im passing through!

Very diverse collection of international groceries. I always stock up on my favorite Korean items here. The food court is amazing, except they no longer have the Korean fried chicken shop, that’s a bummer.

Good international market for the area however I wish they had more variety of foreign vegetables. They have a food court with a variety of types of food, more authentic than normal take out. They have a Cafe, with bubble/Boba tea and Asian bakery, smoothies. Good place to get meats and veggies for a hot pot items. Have a variety for Latino and Asian foods.

Great selection of international, mostly Asian food. Unfortunately the store has a bad odor when you enter but I still like going there.

I come here to get a bunch of things but mostly I come here for the cafè area with bubble tea and sushi because it’s always so fresh and the quality is amazing. Everyone’s so sweet here and I always leave with yummy food.

This is an extremely impressive Asian, Indian, and South American market. Everything is so bright and clean. It smells very nice and they have what you need and more. Some items Ive never even heard of before and was able to try.

The food court here was really good. You had a lot of options including a delicious boba/bakery place. The seating was plentiful and the staff were all very friendly. Major, major shout out to the fruit lady who hooked my girlfriend up with a very fresh and sweet mango. It made the whole trip that much better. Such a great addition to Frederick and the Golden Mile.

H-Mart is a large Asian grocery store that has two Japanese, one Chinese and two Korean restaurants in their food court area along with a pastry shop. Everything in this store was unique to me. I have tried one of the Korean restaurants and one Japanese restaurant and both were good. I intend to return as there is just so much to try here. The atmosphere of the food court is open with florescent lights that make it feel wearhouse like. Its not as clean as a normal grocery store but cleanliness here is acceptable. The food court is open until 8:30 pm on weekdays which was convenient because we stopped in at 8 pm.

Lots of stuff here. My favorite is the food court! A huge variety of food to pick from. The process are a little high but its totally worth it, its pretty much the real deal which is great. Also, they open at 10:30 am which is even better. Grocery wise, great choices to choose from, especially, fresh produce and seafood. I recommend it especially if youre hungry for the real thing.

Definitely the go-to Asain grocery store. Basically has everything unique that you would want or like to try from Asian food. Prices are decent and not overly priced. The employees are usually very helpful but some are rather rude. The food court is a absolute must try if you visit here. So many different options to choose from. The boba tea stand is outstanding and well. Cant wait to visit again and buy lots of different and fresh types of seafood and fish that are prepared right in front of you.

They have a housewares section that have a decent selection of household items, including a nice variety of rice cookers

I came in my hands were full with my reusable bags, one basket of items, and a pack of 24 bottles of Dasani. I set my basket on the checkout belt. There were three cashiers socializing in the empty line before I was helped.Since my hands were full I couldn’t empty my basket. The cashier literally took my basket and dumped everything and stared at me. I bagged my own groceries and had tomatoes and peppers in them along with canned items….The attitude of your workers is unacceptable. I’ve been avoiding you guys because of the ridiculous prices compared to gw market or the Japanese market in Rockville. This was around 6:30 pm 6/27/2021. Train your people better otherwise people will go else where

This location could be cleaner but not as bad as other locations. Stock about all items as the other locations but the prices are higher here for whatever reason. It is not my go-to place because of those reasons and one other is that it doesnt have a the cooking service like steam or frying of fresh fishes like the 99 Ranch market do. That service alone is priceless.

The restaurants in Hmart have vegan options! Some use too much plastic though :( Avoid extra waste by getting food to eat in the food court, and bring your own Togo container.

Absolutely amazing, felt like I was back in New York. It brought a slice of nostalgia to my mind. The bakery is absolutely amazing, as is the wonderful employee I met there. Hmart has Asian sweets to Jamaican spices to Hispanic snacks. They have fruits that most places dont carry and fresh seafood. Theres also a small beauty mart that carries a lot of Tony Moly, which is a terrific brand. (They sell it at regular price, no overcharging here) Lastly theres a food court which I have yet to try but Ill definitely be back. The only downside is the prices of groceries, but mostly everything is imported and very difficult to find -I dont mind paying a little extra for some rare yummies. Looking forward to my next adventure at Hmart!

A cashier type in the price wrong for an item that I bought from the store as 4.99 for one instead of 4.99 for 4 items. When I tried to confront her, she gave me a pathetic eye looking and said no, its not. Like what the F* was that? *excuse my language. Same with the manager when she was called upon, same attitude and treed to talk themselves out of admitting that they were wrong. After standing there talking non-sense she finally gave in to go check and confirm that I was right. Manager here should be taught to respect their customer.

Great Asian, sushi, Indian and Spanish food as well as a food court. Seafood selection is off the chain. Raw produce as well high quality and inexpensive. Spices galore. Also small but interesting selection of tapestries and cooking utensils etc for the home. If you don’t know what something is, ask the fellow shoppers as well as staff there. Fellow shoppers who are from a different ethnic background often appreciate an American willing to learn, and many friendships and recipe shares have been made through these interactions.Check this place out for sure!

The variety alone is was what I needed to get all my shopping done. Many different styles and cusiens to satisfy anyones pallet. From Asian to Jamaican and Spanish foods. Fresh live seafood and spices that rival a chefs cupboard. Also the food court and Cafe is wonderful and has to-go as well! There is a beauty shop that has skincare as well as masks and face shields 5 stars around and more!!

Clean and very spacious with very nice food court.

They have lots of Latinos products so is so nice, the seafood is very affordable and the meats are very cheap, have to drive like 30 minutes to shop there but the drive is worth it.

They always have fresh vegetables.

Glad to find my bunch of bochoy and other green leafy vegetables.The thing I didnt like is the smell of rotten that I didnt know where and what that strong it came from but its near by the meat and seafood section. Hopefully, they can clean that up or I wish people working there are not immune of that bad smell. I feel of eating at their inside restaurant when theyre serving food but the smells really bothered me.

Unusual items youd be hard pressed to find elsewhere in town. Also the dungeness crabs are cute.

Visiting from out-of-state, this H Mart location exceeds at being an international mart. Shelves are well stocked with plenty of variety, so finding just the right item is always possible. As far as produce goes, condition and variety are to be commended too. The stores organization is nice, with home goods being separated in its own corner.Typical of H Mart locations, smaller focused departments such as bakeries are inside as well. The bakerys goods are worth the money and will make you want to stop by each visit. At the same time, a food court of five or six restaurants is also inside. Plenty of Asian cuisine made fresh is available.As an aside, in light of the pandemic, I will note that H Mart is doing a phenomenal job at handling it. Mask use is required and enforced, social distancing guidelines are enforced, barriers between cashier and guest are implemented, and even hand sanitizer is provided to customers upon entry.
