Had an issue with my brakes they had replaced 2 years ago and still under warranty. Came in on a Thursday and was told the earliest they could see me was a Tuesday afternoon, 2 hrs before closing. Didnt think it was good customer service to expect me to wait that long, especially since I pointed out we only own this one car and issue with brakes can be dangerous that I dont want to put off too long. I felt like they werent in any rush to honor their warranty and didnt try very hard to fit me in. Wont be returning.

Our car broke down on the highway on our way back home to New York. Googled showed them being the closest shop to us. We called, the lady on the phone was very sweet, arranged a tow for us, called us back with the approximate time the tow driver would be there to get us. Once we got there, they took our car in right away to work on it.By far one of the nicest waiting rooms in auto shop we have been to. They figured out what was wrong & got us up and out the door, not even 2.5 hours after we broke down on the highway. Great shop, great employees. If we lived in the area we would be back. THANK YOU for getting us back on the road so quickly! You made a horrible experience a lot more pleasant and hassle free!

Took car in for inspection and was told my CV boot (they replace the whole axle instead of just the CV boot) needed replacing, which of course was replaced so I could pass the state inspection. Less than 2 months later, I brought my car into a different shop for a non-related issue. The mechanic pointed out that there was a problem with the CV boot/axle work recently done as he was hearing a clicking sound. He indicated there may be a problem with the hub, provided me with a quote to repair it and suggested I bring the car back to Dynamic, which I did. Dynamic’s quote to fix the hub was higher. So I took the car back to the other mechanic to do the work. The mechanic indicated that the new axle Dynamic put on didn’t fit right in the new hub assembly as there was play, which should not be the case. He put a new axle into the repaired hub and it fit snuggly. He suggested I take the hub and old (the one Dynamic just replaced) axle back to Dynamic to get reimbursed for the parts and labor.I called Dynamic and spoke to the manager. He argued his case for not reimbursing me. Long story short, it went like this....We didn’t need to replace the hub at the time the axle was replaced for state inspection. The CV boot/axle was the issue and it was the only thing needing replacement. We saw there was a lot of rust in the hub but the axle fit fine. In the month and a half I had the car, rust broke free, which he suspects caused the clicking sound the other mechanic pointed out. I declined to have the work redone with Dynamic. So they won’t reimburse me for the axle and labor. So it’s all on me because it was my choice to go to another mechanic.I was not trying to make the argument that his position was incorrect. He was very defensive and kept asking me questions, which I tried to respond to only to have him turn around with another defensive response. In the end, I told him I wasn’t trying to argue against him and that I was just trying to answer his questions. We got nowhere and I told him that we just had to agree to disagree. They were going to charge me more for the work, which would have included having to replace the relatively new axle with another, and their cost to me was going to be higher. To this, the manager at Dynamic said to me, ”We didn’t ask you to come hear to get your car inspected”. That’s when I ended the call, and this is what my beef is with Dynamic.I get their argument for not wanting to reimburse me. Not once did I insist they reimburse me. I only asked once at the beginning of my entire conversation. What I don’t get is a manager who represents what is supposed to be a reputable shop communicating the message of “we didn’t ask for your business”. That’s unprofessional and I’m sure that’s not the message the owners would want to convey to their prospective or current customers. Picture it. Something goes wrong with the work and their take is “we didn’t ask you to come to us”. Not good a good marketing message at all.I am sure others have had positive experiences, but know that if the day comes when something goes wrong, and if this manager’s perspective is not adjusted, you may have a bad experience like me. I hope not.
Recently discovered Dynamic Automotive in my area and have been pleased with their service and attitude. I finally found a local mechanic I feel is both competent and trustworthy which is unfortunately a rarity these days.

My wife has taken her car there twice now and she cant seem to walk out with less than a $600-$800 bill. The one that got me most was the $600 squeaky belt job on a Hyundai with 150k miles. Two weeks later and the belt still squeaks. Suffice it to say, well be taking our cars elsewhere...

Scheduled an appointment but the store was closed on that day. They really need to check their system and update this as this is not good for customers. I dont know is this was an error but it was very inconvenient.
