My husband had multiple shoe repairs done here and not a single one of them went well. The first time we visited, he wasnt there and had a sign taped to the door saying hed be back in 15. We waited well over 20 before my husband finally called and he arrived.Secondly, husband was told that the first pair would be done within a week. So, on the day they were supposed to be finished, my husband stops by to pick them up. They were not done, so the gentleman told him to come back in 45 minutes. My husband says he didnt have time, hed come back another day. Almost a week later, he stops by and is told the same thing again! Not done, come in 45 minutes. This went on for three weeks before my husband finally said he wouldnt leave the shop until they were complete. Finally got the shoes, and by the way, a rather poor job done on them. However, hubby decides that maybe it was a fluke and wanted another pair of shoes refinished. Similar story, took multiple weeks when promised a short timeline (seriously, Im okay if it takes 3 weeks, just be honest from the get go!). The finish looks terrible and cheap, a poor job at best.Very poor professionalism and serious lack of management skills. Im all for supporting local business, but steer clear of this one.

Came in to get my black boots cleaned that had a good bit of thick dirt and dried mud. They looked like they were light brown boots. But after I recieved them, they looked as good as when I received my boots in the mail.

I had a pair of Birkenstocks that needed to be fully rebuilt. Online price was around $60 plus shipping. I figured Id just go local...and tried out Cobblers Bench. The guy said he could do it all for $50. I then asked him if he could make sure the cork is rebuilt etc...as I want them to look new...and he said it might cost more but that hed go ahead and do it. Bottom line, I was not being cheap...but wanted to give my business to the local outfit.I went to pick them up the day he said theyd be ready...and they were not...so I hung out for almost an hour while he basically began to rebuild my sandals. Oh boy. All he did was polish the sandals and replace the soles...that could have been done online for cheaper. I tossed a little paste on the cork here and there...when I got home I realized he missed a bunch of spots, looks like crap and Im too busy to drive back and fight it.Not happy...I guess Ill be doing more shopping online where there is a guarantee. This guy is a joke.

I brought my hiking shoes, cause I had a little seam teared apart. When I took it back, there was some glue spread all around the reparation, and only one stitch sewn (when there was originally two). He didnt even care to cut the thread, and gave me my shoe with the string dangling from it.And all this for 35$ !All in all, hes expensive and dont have a clue how to do a proper work. If it was about making a mess with glue and barely sewing a stich I could have done it at home...

Long story short go find another place to have your shoes or boots repaired. I’m a strong supporter of local business, but when the owner attempts to hustle you is just unacceptable!!!
