I drove 6 hours to purchase a piece of glass and the store owners and staff could not have been more accommodating! They spent a lot of time with me discussing my specific project and gave me helpful hints on how exactly to finish the project for installation in a front door. They allowed me to look at multiple sheets of glass to be able to choose exactly the right one for my project. I will gladly make the trip again any time because of the superior customer service that I have not been able to find any where else! Boy do I wish I lived closer!

I love this place and I’m so glad that they’re back open for in-person shopping. The staff is so helpful and the shop is well stocked. They even have a great sale rack. My only complaint is that they are an hour drive from me. ;) Maybe that’s a good thing though since I’d easily spend all of my money in there.

Of I could give them a 10+ I would. When I order glass, equipment, tools etc, the staff is always patient and answers all my questions. I dont imagine that I am a big account-regardless, they treat me wonderfully. I ordered from Delphi a few times but delphi packing was deplorable and their prices were higher. Anything in Stained glass really packs up their fragile products well and I have only wonderful things to say.

I used to really enjoy ordering supplies from this company, but in recent months I have had some issues. These issues have prompted me to quit ordering from them, and to write this review.I ordered $250 worth of glass to be delivered to my home in Florida. Upon receiving the order (it was packaged awesome), I noticed a large “gouge” across my sheet of icicle clear. Since I will not be using this in a fused project, it needs to be as free from imperfections as possible. I realize there will be imperfections, but a huge gouge is a different story.I wrote them, and “Dave” replied. He basically told me that since this is fused glass it will have imperfections, and fusing them will remove those imperfections. He also basically told me that I wouldn’t order fuseable glass for non fused projects. I have a few issues with this. 1) I do both fusing and soldered, so I always order fuseable glass so that scraps can be used for either project, 2) The production of non fuseable glass is slowly being phased out, and 3) glass should not be shipped that has been gouged.I have been doing glass for years, and have ordered from Delphi and Warner hundreds of times with few if any problems. The one time I did have an issue, I was given a nominal credit to use on my next purchase.My friend had a huge issue several months ago with her purchase of a HAKKO iron. It took over a month to ship, and when it did, it sat at the post office for an additional month. She called the store to ask them to look into it. They told her once it was dropped off at the post office it was her problem not theirs. She called the post office, and they told her since she wasn’t the shipper, they couldn’t give her any information. This went back and forth for another month, until we got tho post,aster general involved. Then it was found and shipped.Basically this store has a great selection, great prices, but HORRIBLE customer service.

First time visiting about a week ago. I didnt pay attention to the site and note that we couldnt shop inside, my fault completely. We arrived and I guess we had that what do I do look on our faces. An employee came out and was so amazing working around my lack of preparation. I am new to the hobby, and she made amazing recommendations. She took the time to pull out what I asked for, and what she thought would be best for my experience level. Amazing experience I wish I could remember her name. At first I was a bit leery of the uncertainty around shipping costs. After a few online orders, I now truly trust their promise to use the most economical and efficient means of shipping their orders. Im so very glad I found this shop. I ordered a beginners stained glass kit from them to learn a new skill during the COVID stay-at-home orders. It had everything I needed to get started, and since then, Ive ordered more glass and tools from them as well. Everything has shipped quickly and shipping is not terribly expensive. When the grinder that came with my beginners kit had an issue only 6 weeks after I started using it, they sent me a replacement part & walked me through how to install it over the phone! I couldnt ask for better service. Im very much looking forward to visiting the store in person some day - it would be way easier to judge glass colors in real life than over a computer screen!

Often when I order one of their staff will call me with recommendations to save money for shipping etc. Dave is awesome ! Wow, In 45 days, I’ve driven 3 hours, 3 times, to shop at this amazing glass warehouse. 2 kilns and stacks of glass and supplies later, I feel ready to get my fusing on!! Dave, Paula and their great staff have been so accommodating and helpful with information and techniques. Their facility is well laid out. Supplies are endless for any glass art project. They are located right off Rt 270, with ample parking. Many amenities are near by. We found their class rooms roomy and rest rooms clean. They proudly show off many project ideas (and fails, learning opportunities). I already have a list started as I know it won’t be long before our next trek up from Virginia.

I’ve probably spent thousands of dollars here at this point and the employees have always been very helpful and interested no matter what project I was working on. I haven’t been able to ask a question that they couldn’t answer, whether about materials or technique, and if I’m having difficulty working on a piece they are an essential resource!

No matter what we need to match a repair, Paula and David go the extra mile to help us match the glass and the grain. Customer service beyond all expectations.

The prices are very reasonable and the shipping charges are what they are - if it costs x to ship thats what you are charged - not x plus whatever. Im relatively new to stained glass and always feel uncomfortable going into the shop near me because Im not a true artisan. Besides its dark and all the glass is stored in shelves so you have to pull each piece out to see it.Anything in Stained Glass is such a refreshing difference. Bright airy, huge warehouse with all the glass stacked in open display racks so you can simply walk down the multiple aisles and see the incredible assortment they have. I was also pleased to see a wide variety of books and templates.I asked a number of questions and instead of a simple answer I was shown how to do what Id been asking. The owners took an incredible amount of time answering all of my questions and just chatting over all. The friendly inviting atmosphere is what more than makes this place worth the 45 minute drive. If youre into glass work, whether stained glass or fusing this place is a must visit. Make it a day trip. I guarantee youll be walking around the store for hours.

I was so happy when I found this place! The staff is wonderful and the owners are amazing! There is a wide selection of glass with competitive prices to include the best shipping rates around. I stopped ordering though Delphi Glass because they charge $32 to ship one sheet of glass. Anything in Stain Glass will ship your glass in the most economical way. I have visited the shop many times and they are so knowledgeable and helpful. I have purchased 2 kiln from them because I have found they have the best prices and I can call with any questions or concerns and I know they will help me!

One of my favorite places to purchase glass! They have a huge inventory including many brands like Kikomo and Youghiogheny, plus glass for fusing. They also carry all necessary supplies and offer classes and open studio time. It’s a 1 1/2 hr drive for me, but is always worth it!

I would absolutely recommend ordering from this company. I do not have a local stained glass supply store so I have to order online. Each time I have ordered from this company has been an amazing experience. I was personally contacted since I had special requests and they worked very hard to provide awesome customer service. Wow. Walking in you may think they have a modest selection of glass. Then you see the sign on the right wall that says glass pouring you to a door and BAM you are in a huge room full tons of glass. I received the total for my recent purchase and I have to say that the shipping” fee is excessive. I have been purchasing glass for years and shop from many on line sources, but I have always been informed of shipping totals prior to completing and placing orders. I was reluctant to do so this time, but after having read the shipping requirements I thought my order met said requirements and therefore shipping cost would be minimal. When shipping cost are near 50% of the total purchase that is unjustified. I ship all the time and know the cost of shipping items of varying weight and size and this small package weighing 18.90 lbs. ships for about $12.00 to NC. You can expect that I will not do any further business with this company and I will inform others in the trade of their practice of deceiving customers by hiding the cost of shipping as a means of inflating overall cost.

What a fabulous place to shop and dream about what you can make. More glass than you could ever use!

Were out nearly $40 because their glass is so grossly misrepresented online. We recently ordered 10 pieces of Artique glass from Anything in Stained Glass. Upon receiving the order, we were horribly disappointed. The sample photo on the website appeared to look like antique glass, with textures and subtle variances. The glass we received is nothing more than a solid translucent color with very light scribbles in it. I emailed Dave directly and was told they dont take the sample photos (they just use the ones provided) and I could return the glass. However, they dont refund the inital $16 shipping charge AND we had to pay return shipping, so we ended up with almost $40 in shipping charges... plus we still had to find some respectable glass for our project elsewhere. Huge waste of time and money!

AISG gets an A+ for customer service and inventory selection. I am currently taking a class which is fun and informative.
