Delicious! We didnt even make it out of the parking lot before we gobbled up our half a dozen. We couldnt believe the crunch that the donuts had, but they were still soft. This was our first time coming here today, and well definitely be back.

The price is great and the donuts are amazing!!! Forget the big national donut chains and support your local business by getting some donuts here. It’s a better price than the national donut shops and these donuts are a million times better!

Great doughnuts, I make a point of stopping here whenever Im in the area. And you have to try the Prunwich (Doughnut with egg, bacon and cheese, or even with sausage) darn thing keeps burning my moth since I end up devouring it so darn fast. Doughnuts are made on the spot which is always a plus.

I love the Fractured Prune. We have never had a bad experience at any of the locations that we have been to. This was our first trip to this location and I must say everyone was on point! The service was excellent and fast. The donuts were crispy and hot with lots of toppings.Keep up the great job!

I met a young man this summer while ordering a piping hot doughnut his name was Tyler Clark and then after purchasing the warm pastry he followed me home and gave me my wallet that he stole he was very nice but I do believe he is in jail at the moment for crimes against Brittan I tipped him 100 dollars that day i am now being informed this is the wrong location

This place has the best cakiest donuts in infinite flavors made hot and ready, simply delectable. It’s a local Mid Atlantic area staple. If you’ve never been do yourself a favor and try it!

A little bit of the beach at home. Donuts are made to order so they are always hot and delicious! So many inventive flavor combinations! Of course my kids always choose Carnival.

We went on a Sunday around 11am and had the place to ourselves. None of the 3 workers greeted us, nor helped us when we explained it was our first visit. We ordered banana cream pie, cherry pie, buzz, death by chocolate, thin mint, and mocha crumb cake. All were made while we watched, but since they were spotted into the glaze directly from the fryer, the majority of the glaze melted into the doughnut. What was left ended up underneath the doughnut cementing it to the box. It gets two stars since the underlying doughnut has great potential - moist and flavorful. I would rather drive a little to get my fresh doughnut from Duck Doughnuts next time.

Terrible customer service. I called at 10a.m. Their website says they close at 2. I put in an order for my daughters favorite Donuts for my daughters birthday to pick up at the 1. Not only was the girl very rude but she stated they were closing early due to it being hot outside therefore I couldn’t place an order. So if you want a Donut over the summer I wouldn’t recommend this place as they apparently don’t work when it’s hot.

As someone who usually doesnt enjoy donuts these are my favorite. I LOVE these. Definitely worth checking out.

The donuts are made to order so they are literally always fresh hot. There is a good selection of classic flavors but also a wide assortment of unique flavors that are genuinely amazing. Honestly you should try each one once because the flavor pallet is so wide everyone is bound to have a different favorite. Also serves coffee. Service is usually very quick. The building itself is relatively small, seats about 16.

Step aside Krispy Kreme.Nuff said.

The only decent thing about my experience at this Fractured Prune location were the donuts, as the customer service was absolutely atrocious. Also, as other reviewers have stated, this location has inflexible hours and closely ridiculously early. Initially when I walked in, I was not greeted but just stared upon by the owner/manager in duty. He was extremely rude and disrespectful the entire time. I watched him greet and willingly assist the other customers of a different race, but when it came time for meeting my needs, he was immensely nonchalant. He also became really impatient when I began asking for flavor advice. It was so distasteful. After paying for my donuts, my receipt was printed and the manager just left them on the counter, so I stood there baffled because I didnt know if my transaction was complete. He did not say thank you or give any type of indication that I was taken care of. As I sat at the table waiting for my order, I watched as the manager came from behind the counter to give the other customers their order, but when mine was ready, the girl who prepared them, simply slid them on the counter and just said here you go. I was so taken aback by the direct targeting and lack of service that was distributed to me. However, since Frederick is known for its KKK and confederacy association, I was not surprised by my treatment as it was expected. I just felt like things would have been slightly different while patronizing an establishment.

When the Gods got tired of pizza, they ordered these donuts. They have been my favorite for years. Best made-to-order donuts anywhere. Their existing flavors are great, but you can always customize them as well. This particular location never seems to be very busy, so people need to go to keep it in business. The people are friendly and get orders out quickly.I always order at least a dozen (just for me) and eat at least 4 right there in the shop while they are hot and fresh.

There has never been a time where I went to Fractured Prune and didnt love it. They truly have something for everyone, and the donuts are always made fresh when theyre ordered. All the glazes and toppings just make my day. Highly recommend them if youre having a craving for anything sweet.

We go there quite often. Best donuts weve ever had. They make they hot and fresh for you on the spot with any flavor you can think of. OC Sand is my favorite, while the kids like Strawberry Shortcake and Blueberry Thrill and peppermint patty. Try them all, you cant go wrong, you can even make your own flavors by mixing.

Donuts were good, not great. Greasy and the glaze is too sweet. The worst is the electrical hazard in the bathroom with exposed wiring. Children or people with mental disabilities could easily get electrocuted. The place is dirty and needs new paint.

Can’t say enough bad things about this place. Wish I could give zero stars. They ALWAYS close early, the hours posted on the door are mainly suggestions to them. This place is extremely filthy, continuously under construction and lacks proper management. Nothing is done correctly, and unlike the ones at the beach, these doughnuts are flat, greasy and crumbly. The owner is rude and unfriendly. My daughter loves these doughnuts, but I guess we’ll stick to getting them at the beach. It’s not worth coming to the Frederick location. This place desperately needs new ownership.

The donuts are amazing and I would recommend this place to every one.Only problem I have is the hours. You should open at 6 during the week and 7-730 on weekends. Its hard to get donuts for before work when you have to deal with 270 traffic.

You need these donuts in your life...I dont like cake donuts. Fractured Prune sells exclusively cake donuts.I would injure people to get these donuts if I had to. They are mind blowingly good.They dont make anything until you put your order in. You get to watch them drop the dough in the fryer contraption they have. Loads of toppings, plenty of delicious things to try. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am contributing to the workplace obesity epidemic because of this donut shop.

I was in Frederick visiting friends and ordered through Uber eats for breakfast two days in a row, both days I was given extra donuts at no cost 😍 The quality was phenomenal as always, and Im so sad that we dont have Fractured Prune in Florida

Let me first start off....I LOVE FRACTURED PRUNE!!! However, this location in Frederick MD is very unprofessional. I live over an hour away and always attempt to stop when Im in the area. Today was the 3rd time Ive stopped and they were closed outside of their normal business hours. That are set to be open until 2:00pm, according to both their website and their storefront window. I show up for my 3rd attempt and their is a small handwritten note on the door that says closing at 12:00. It is 1:00 and Im very disappointed to the point that I never review anything and here I am.

After I ate these, I read through the Yelp reviews and found a phrase that summarizes my opinion of these doughnuts: sweet, soggy, and messy. If you prefer light, fluffy, lightly glazed or dusted doughnuts, there are not for you. Theyre more like fried cakes dipped in thick glaze. Maybe some people like that, but its definitely not for me.

If youre looking for freshly made donuts made right in front of you, this is the place.

Service was very good, and those working were friendly. Quick turnaround as you would expect. The donuts are different from Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts as you would expect. My family enjoyed them so we will be back, but not frequently. For a breakfast establishment, I would expect them to be open earlier than 0800 on the weekend. Because they are not, that will limit how frequently we visit.

Made to order, hot donuts. A Sunday after church ritual that never disappoint. The donuts never seem to make it out of the parking lot! My fav is the Dulce de Leches. Each time we have been service is usually quick, friendly and efficient. I like that the hours have been extended. Yeah, they could use a major store update, not as shiny as KK, but I think KK donuts are too sweet and have no texture.

Great doughnuts. But they need to be a little more cautious about food handling. On my last visit the person working the register was leaning on the inside of my box with her elbows. while writing my order on the inside of the box. When I gother home theres two long brown hairs in my box of doughnuts. Needless to say they went right in the trash, what a waste of twelve dollars. Food handling is very important not everyone can contact the common cold. Please use a different system to identify the doughnuts. Maybe just tape the label to the front edge of the box.

Fractured Prune is a great place yummy doughnuts at a good price. Although on nice days I wish there was a place to sit outside when I have my dog, its a busy area though so you might here lots of traffic. Inside its nice and quiet with free WIFI that is a plus! :) They also serve Zi Panini bagels which is local to us. The Zi panini bagels and doughnuts are both nice, happy to have them in Frederick.
