Broken garage door spring this morning, fixed this afternoon. That’s service! Trevor did an excellent job. Fixed the issue, did maintenance inspection of the entire door and demonstrated that everything was working properly. Nothing but good things to say about Overhead Door Company of Frederick. Prompt, professional and did the job right the first time for a reasonable price. Won’t hesitate to call again if needed for any future issues with our garage door.

Update: the garage door started acting up again! We called back for a tech and Connor came out to see us the next morning. He was really great. He shared so much insight and information with us and walked us through a process of eliminating one thing at a time, before jumping to the most costly solution. Things seem to be working well!!Trevor, our technician, and Overhead Door, we’re fantastic! Our garage was completely out of control opening and closing in random degrees. I called and asked for help and they had someone over within a few hours. Trevor was professional and thorough and so super informative. But best of all, our garage door is now under control!! :)

Our technician was Trevor. He is such a nice guy! He was thorough with his job. We thought we would have to replace the door but turns out, we only needed a repair. Now it runs smoothly and quietly. Trevor came in, assessed the situation and got right to work. Probably took all of one hour. I will call them again but hopefully I won’t have to.

Trevor did an amazing job today! He called when he was on his way and called when he arrived. He quickly got to the root of the problem. It was me! Rather than simply replace the keypad he decided to check it out. It turned out that when it wasnt working one day a few months ago I was certain it needed batteries. So, I got some from the house and put them in. Turns out I (an engineer??) had the batteries in backwards! He then took the time to tighten and lube every moving part including the chain and made sure my cars were protected first. I am quite pleased with the service and will not go anywhere else for my garage door. Thanks for a great job!

We are thrilled with the Frederick, MD area Overhead Door. A spring on our garage door broke last night and, obviously, we needed a repair. I called today around 9:00 am and was given a same-day window of 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Jay Z. arrived at 10:00 am (maybe even a little before). He was informative, efficient, knowledgeable and so very polite. He was finished by 10:50 am. Overall this was a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely call the Frederick, MD area Overhead Door the next time we need a repair or are in the market for a new garage door! (Also, I want to note that I am pretty strict about mask wearing these days and Jay wore his mask the entire time he was working in our garage and I so appreciated that!)

This review is a little tardy, but still very enthusiastic regarding the service they provided. It was back in December and we were having trouble with both of our garage doors. Some days the controls worked and the doors opened and other days one door would open and the other wouldn’t. The same could be said for the control pads on the outside of garage. Very frustrating! Well Jay showed up, listened patiently and then asked some simple questions. He did his work and after a short amount of time everything worked. He explained everything he did and what I needed to do to prevent any future problems. Didnt get too far. The guy who came for the appointment told my kid to shush as we were talking about the garage door. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! How in the world do you tell another persons child to be quiet when you are in someones home? So disrespectful. Needless to say I kicked him out immediately

I had the need to replace a jackshaft operator and Overhead Door (Trevor) came out the next day and replaced it. He was quick, efficient, and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Overhead Door for work to be done on your garage doors. They are very professional and in one case, he replaced another jackshaft operator a couple of years ago but he tried to fix it before replacing it then when he had to replace it, there was a credit for the work they had already done. They take care of their customers. It is clear that they care.

Made the appointment on Monday and they came out Tuesday right on time. Trevor got ou if his truck wearing his mask and saw the issue with the door right away and fixed it. I contacted Overhead Door Company after a friend referred me to them because of their quality of service. I expected to have to wait several days for someone to replace the spring on my garage door. The phone rep. said that they could take care of it that evening when I got home from work because they have 24 hour service. The technician called to let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes and actually arrived on time. He replaced the spring on my garage door and performed maintenance.
