I have been going here for over 30 years now, the people there are very nice to deal with. The food is still decent and priced affordable, but with so many people they have to conform to, they have had to change some of their recipes. Used to absolutely love their vegetable soup because they would put their roast beef trimmings into it, but do to people complaining that had to change. Still is a great place for a good quick meal.

They have cold cut sandwiches in the cooler they make fresh daily, those are sooooo good...the sub roll is so perfect its soft but has a good bite the deli meat is on point n its just the right juiciness that u dont need to add ANYTHING cuz they made it wit LuV 🥰

Hot or cold sandwiches and subs made to order! Homemade sloppy joe!!! The sloppy Joe dogs are great! The sweet iced tea is delicious. Hot soups, freshly made pizzas, lottery, snacks, drinks as well as beer and liquor. Need a check cashed? They have that service too! (By a sweet beautiful lady named Darlene.) The friendly staff makes everyone feel like a VIP. Prices are very reasonable and the whole experience is worth any amount of drive time!

Love that when there was a mishap with my bank that I normally have to go to to cash a check every month ended up temporarily closed recently during pandemic, that Browns served me great..only charging a minimum $1 fee...when I know anywhere else would take an arm and a leg.

Browns has an amazing Deli counter, offering soups, sandwiches, subs (hot & cold) pizza and desserts. They have a great selection of liquor, wine and beer all for very reasonable prices. You will often find local law enforcement hanging out there. Not because its a dangerous area, more so because Browns is very involved with the community! The staff are all VERY nice and helpful. They also offer a check cashing, bill payment and cell phone renewal.

Well known for their Handmade sandwiches, side dishes, soups, Sloppy Joes, Steak and Cheese subs, Hot Dogs and Pizzas. Huge selection of non alcoholic beverages, Beer and Discount liquor. Lotto, Keno and a check cashing service. Always a favorite lunch stop for most construction workers, city, county, even our local Law Enforcement Officers.

Old school liquor and convenience store has the best fresh brewed ice tea around. The chip beef is a definite breakfast go too. Lots of other quick bite options. Expect a heavy crowd early morning and at lunch.

Browns funny enough is kind of a Frederick landmark. If you dont know it then you probably arent from around here! If youve never been you need to stop and see why its special. Yeah, the booze are cheap but its the homemade food and small town feel that makes the place special.

Not just liquor. All around great place for sandwiches, made to order subs, creamed chipped beef & lots of other stuff. Good fresh brewed iced tea as well. But one thing I do not see in any of the other reviews is their incredibly delicious coffee. They have some of the best tasting, fresh brewed coffee I have ever had. Makes sure you grab a cup if you ever go there.

I hate to say this because the people are super friendly and nice, but the pizza was horrible! It’s worse then a frozen pizza. I highly recommend you to take it off the menu! The steak and cheese was pretty good, but needed salt and pepper.

Please close down and just sell liquid lunches stop with the food,plus your service is terrible at best. If this is the local thing sorry about your luck, but the clown next door has better food. The elderly person was upset because I changed my order then she tossed my sandwich on the counter. Oh and when I asked was it home made,? ( the meat balls )she said what do you mean ?. Dont pay with a card.! Every point of my experience was well not good. Look when people are spending there hard earned money we should be able to ask questions. And put better effort into your work and provide a better product.

The wonderful lady who cashes checks on Fridays did a great job again .(5/31/19) I was with my daughter and we were 11th in line . It took under 10 mins . Browns is the best, great food,service and check cashing among other things

Food is decent, not the best. Customer service is hit or miss. I have had one bad encounter while cashing a check. The lady with brown hair and glassed would not cash my paycheck that I have cashed theRE over 50 times. She was rude and nasty. She said I cant cash it if its not inecessary the book. It was a printed Payroll check from a local nursing home. Other than her I have always has pleasant experiencesurprise. She need some customers service classes and maybe a lesson in ettituqge.
