I called to get a quote to get brakes for my car and ended up scheduling the same day because the pricing was the best I found. The entrance is a little chaotic, but don’t let that deter you. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely want to provide good service. They did not go out of their way to find issues with my vehicle, rather, they asked if I had any concerns that I wanted looked into. I actually had some things on my mind, which were checked. They were thorough and gave me a quote, as well as provided me with helpful information to keep my car in good shape. I appreciate not being “sold” to, and that they were able to explain things in terms for people who are not car savvy like me. The service was completed in a reasonable amount of time, which was awesome. They have gained all of my future service!

Got my muffler delete here for my NC Miata. Great service would definitely recommend. Muffler delete sounds great!Edit: went there the other day after getting an amazing muffler delete. I had stripped bolts in my reverse lockout in my shifter. I asked for them to take a look and after giving me an estimate i left and they gave me my car back and the shifter was completely out of place. I asked for them to fix it and he didn’t even take the cover out. He told me he “popped” it back into place. I left and 2 min later heading down the highway (I live 45 min away) the shifter popped out while trying to go into 6. I had to pull over and wait for my friend to come bring me tools so I can fix the shifter myself in 85 degree weather. I can honestly say I will never go here again. The lady at the front desk was very kind though.

A superb job was conducted in replacing the sway bar linkages on the front end. No more squeaking or loose ending movements. I am highly satisfied!

Das garage is the only garage that I will be taking my new to me A8L. These guys treat every vehicle they handle as if it was their own. They painted my calipers red and it looks great, just installed my spacers and new rims for me as well, and will be installing my air suspension link sometime this week. Yes Sir I am sure! I had installed axel but they didnt install it properly it causes leaking when I took my car for inspection they told me my car had leak I took it back to them they fixed it but now It makes a sound on drive side.

I’ll start with the good! Very professional, very knowledgeable, relaxed and comfortable environment. Price was also fabulous. I thought for 14$ It wasn’t bad at all. My only real complaint is that my car now leaks a RIDICULOUS amount of oil and always smells like burning oil now. I’m not sure if something wasn’t closed all the way and is now leaking or if something was damaged, but I’m taking into a different shop today to find out.Edit: after reviewing some other reviews about his shop I’m rating at 4 stars because as mentioned before, they did go above and beyond to look at my brakes for me and told me my rotors were warped, but did not pressure me to buy them, which I LOVE.

I bought tires from Andy and Trent. They were warm and personable and I got a great set of tires for a decent price. They were very easy going and did not apply pressure in selling the tires. They also informed that Id need new breaks soon, but did not pressure me to buy them immediately. It was a good experience and I plan to use them as my regular mechanic.

I decided to add a turbo kit to my car and Trent at Das garage was very knowledgeable. He helped me every step of the way starting with rebuilding the motor. After the motor and kit was installed he helped set me up with a base map to drive it to the tuner. Very happy with the work and would recommend them to any of my friends.

Had the guys do a manual transmission conversion on my E30. They pulled everything from a donor car and swapped in the manual in about two weeks. Trent and Andy run a great indy shop with a ton of knowledge. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

A bit hard to find being right next to a couple other auto shops and only having a small sign. Andy, one of the owners, is very professional, polite and transparent. I was given the opportunity to watch (and learn) how they service the car. Last time I had an oil change done, the price for a synthetic oil change was very hard to beat. This time, there was a miscommunication between the front end and back end of the shop, but Andy made it right, even at a cost to himself. Great customer service!PS. Das Garage replaced the water pump and belts. Answered all my follow-up quesions. Car is working great.

So I go in to have a brake job done, and after them installing brakes, the brake light comes back on. They say that its not the brakes that its the sensors for my ABS. So they replace the sensor for my ABS. I drive it out and the ABS light comes back on. Then they sell well maybe its the wiring... Now they want to charge me $600 for wiring because it MIGHT be the wiring. These guys couldnt diagnose a cold if you sneezed on them.

Amazing! I called and he fit me in when he was busy. He fixed an issue with my ac Toyota didn’t even diagnose properly. If I wasn’t moving, I’d go here every time for servicing. Highly recommend

Even though it was not his job to fix what another company messed up but he did it anyways. They didnt use paper mats now i have two black marks on beige matsI had their so called interior detail done they told me it would take 90 minutes they had my van for about 6 hours . before i took it i asked if i should take my stuff out of the stow & go compartments so i did which was a lot. I got home they touch the stow & go compartments & I have over spray from something on the inside my windshield and both drivers and passengers windows. The lobby doesnt look like anything in the pictures it has like two chairs greasy floor just overall messy if u have asthma dont go there

Ok these guys are very knowledgeable! They are helpful and fair. I hate mechanics, but these guys made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely return for service of my vehicles.

First and last time customer. Wasted over a grand and car is not fixed! Communication is nonexistent to them and there is no regard to your time or money. I left my car with them Wednesday at 4pm and didn’t get it back until Saturday afternoon for what was a “common repair” that could of took “3 hours” according to Andy. After I questioned the status of my car many times with Andy, I was given the run around and excuses about a part needing to be ordered, being short handed, and then walk ins taking precedence to my car. He even told me they were working on my car at that moment and as I drove by with a friend my car was not even in the garage. I don’t think they were ever confident in the diagnosis of my car but sold me the idea anyway like it would fix the issue! The total was $1000.02 and when I was handed my card and receipt back it said $1039.52, adding in a “non cash fee”. Andy didn’t even have the decency to tell me this beforehand. Total dishonesty. My car is doing the same stutter/jerk when driving even though he said it wouldn’t. They also supposedly did an oil change but didn’t reset the dash or put a sticker on. So who really knows. As a public school system employee with a part time job money is so tight, and I feel like I literally flushed over a grand in the toilet. Warranty or not, I will not return.Response to owner: Keep the condescending paragraphs, I’ve been to plenty shops to know this isn’t how you operate one. You were wrong for not telling me the total price up front you literally said $1000.02 was the total right before I handed you my card. Also you offered to bring my car back to me around 7pm or 8pm when I hadn’t heard anything as usual I called AGAIN for you to tell me it would be another hour or so. I didn’t want random men coming to my home that late at night so I SWITCHED SHIFTS at work so I could retrieve my car in the morning which still wasn’t ready! And no apology or mention on the half a** oil change or the BS repair that you knew didn’t solve the issue when you drove it that morning! Don’t you understand that $1039 could of gone to fixing the real issue?? Smh. Like I said zero transparency, accountability or regard.

Not one to write reviews but had the absolute WORST experience and felt the need to share.Took my car in for a new clutch and was quoted for a price there. The car was ready days after they had originally told me. When I went to pay I was WAY overcharged and never told about it. When I called they said the quote was, “only good for 30 days.”After driving the car home I realized there was oil and grease all over my brand new white pants. They hadn’t bothered to cover the seats because I had “dark” seat covers.Car started making noises with the new clutch, so I took it back under warranty. A bolt had been put in sideways. After they couldn’t figure out what was causing the noise, they claimed it was something would be another $600 to fix although they caused the malfunction.

Andy is an amazing, honest, hardworking, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. If youre looking for a mechanic in the area I highly recommend you give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. He does quality work and does not overcharge. He has helped me out quite a few times and I was always completely satisfied!

My new favorite garage in the Fredericksburg area. After chatting with Andy (owner), I learned that he is a Virginia Tech graduate with a strong passion for cars. Hes working to reinvent the traditional car-repair experience by being fully transparent and honest with all customers (a practice that, unfortunately, is not very common in the industry). If work is being done on your car and they notice something else that is wrong, they will bring you into the garage to show you what the problem is before fixing it/charging you. You wont have to worry about being charged for parts unnecessarily (which, again, is very common in the industry unfortunately). If youre not familiar with cars and worry about paying more than you should, this is your place!

I used to go to these guys for oil changes and always seemed friendly so when I called and asked to bypass my factory amp and replace my serpentine belt they told me to bring it by and it would be done by 6pm I had the seat already out and new cables already ran from the battery to the new amp I just need a tone generator to locate the speaker cable off the harness with not having the serpentine belt in stock they told me it will be done by 9am when they opened i arrived at 930am they were closed came back at 530pm and they havent even started they should have never taken a customer and given me a timeline if they couldnt deliver and the worst part is that it was done by the two owners who lied and didnt deliver worst shop in Fredericksburg do not go there huge ripoff and scam mechanics they had the car for two days and did nothing

They honored the Groupon price which was 1/2 the cost of anywhere else in Fredericksburg. I was in & out in an hour! That’s the same time frame other big chain companies offer but at less than 1/2 the price!I highly recommend DAS Garage, I was treated kindly, paid the best price in Fredericksburg for an oil change & there were no surprise fees or charges.
