I had such an amazing experience with Patty. She was such a great help. She knew what style I wanted and kept everything in perfect budget range. They had a wide variety of styles from mermaid dresses to ballgowns and everything in between. The Rest of the staff was also very helpful and kind. I was really hoping I would find my dress at the first store I went to, because a lot of people were saying that I would need to go to multiple stores. That just seemed stressful and I’m a one stop shop kind of girl! As soon as myself and my girls walked into Ava, WOW! We were blown away. It is SO gorgeous, from the lobby to the ELEVATOR (like what!)!! Our stylist was amazing, and I ended up with two top picks (and one beat the other, leaving everyone gasping, and crying!). I did the celebration package, which was personalized and lead to more happy tears. I walked out after buying my dress, relieved knowing that I got the one that fit me and my relationship perfectly, and relieved that I don’t have to spend days and more hours stressed shopping around still. I cannot say enough good things about my experience!!!! They are absolutely amazing!!!!! I had searched all over the state for the perfect wedding dress and was feeling very defeated. I had such an amazing experience at ALB!! I worked with Patty, Virginia, and Brittany and it was so great. My experience was very special because Virginia also happens to be my sister. She obviously knows me well, because out of all the ones she pulled, my dress was the one she secretly knew I would pick!!! I don’t even know where to begin with my experience. Prior to coming to Ava Laurénne, I went to another bridal shop. My experience there was nothing that I had hoped it would be, and I was actually told that my budget was “impossible” but “we will make it work”. I won’t get too far into it with that. So, I went to lunch feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure that I would ever find my dress or have that “YES!” moment. I had dreamed of going to Ava Laurénne for years now, so I was very hopeful still!!! As soon as I walked in with my party, Katie greeted us. She instantly began asking me about my ring, the proposal story, my fiancé and I’s love story, etc. Katie wanted to know everything about my fiancé and I. She listened to the very few things I was looking for in my dress (I never really dreamed of my future wedding, so didn’t have much of a clue what I wanted!) and got to work picking out a variety of dresses to try on! The first dress I tried on, which was dress #7 of the day, was THE one. I went through with trying the other dresses, but found my way back to the first dress after we had wiped my options clean. I put it back on and just knew. Katie was there to celebrate among my party and expressed just as much joy as my closest friends, twin sister and mom did. She. Made. The. Experience. Magical. I wish I could go back every day and experience it again. I seriously cannot express the joy and happiness that Katie brought to such an important moment. I am forever grateful for her!!! After 15 appointments, I finally found my dress at Ava Laurenne. To be entirely honest, ALB was my 12th appointment, and I still went to NYC after (as I already booked the trip) and while NYC has the BEST selection of dresses I have ever seen (I looked in Croatia, Atlanta, Maryland and DC as well), ALB had my dress and the BEST dress consultant, Virginia. I came in absolutely defeated, I did not even bother dressing up--and boy was I shocked. Virginia is passionate about her work and really tactful, never pushy. She is out of this world, and if you are an overthinking, OCD bride like myself, you always wonder, what if / $$$$. Well, ladies and gentlemen, this boutique really amazed me. Not only did I find my dress (but did not have the standard yes-to-the-dress moment for reasons I already mentioned), I found that this boutique is actually Christian! As someone that didnt even consider this would play a factor, it actually did. I felt so at peace here, and they were so completely accommodating with an outstanding diversity of dress options, that I just felt WRONG if I did NOT go with them. I went to so many places, met some lovely people too, but so many dresses wind up looking the same. What a pleasant surprise and a MUST-SEE if you are in the DMV area. Best bridal store for sure, and I have gone to all of them, lol. I really like my dress, and while I did not cry (perhaps because I am a cold-hearted soulless person (jk)), I feel I made the best decision.

I purchased my stunning unique wedding dress from Ava Laurence Bride. This was my first ever experience in a bridal like boutique where I got pampered while trying on dresses. Virginia was amazing. She was so bubbly and made the whole experience. I am VERY picky and self-conscious, but her choices in pulling dresses were perfect and she paid attention to my likes/dislikes that lead me to the perfect dress after less than 2 hours. It was actually the 2nd one I tried on.Virginia even helped my bridesmaids with dresses and they all ACTUALLY agreed on the same one. ALB is definitely an experience, not just simply shopping for a dress.

I came not really knowing much of what I wanted, and I left with my dream dress!! My helper was Natalie and she was the sweetest most amazing person ever! She did not pressure me into anything and told me the goal of the appointment was the eliminate what I didn’t like, so there wasn’t the pressure of finding “the one” on the first appointment. The owner of the store was so patient in helping me find the one after what seemed like 20 dresses, and every single employee was so sweet and willing to bend over backwards to make the experience one of kind for every bride that walked through their doors! This was the second bridal store I went to and after the first 2 minutes I knew Id found the best place possible. Couldnt have had a better experience dress shopping! Before stepping in the shop, I already assumed I wouldnt be able to afford anything but wanted to see what styles fit me best. Walking into the shop felt magical, welcoming and everyone was so kind. Visited this boutique yesterday for a bridal appointment. I had 4 guests join me for my appointment and we had a cozy area to sit and complimentary refreshments and snacks. The experience was better than I ever could have imagined!!! I had the Princess Treatment and it was sooo worth it!!! I felt like a Princess the entire time and Brittany made sure I was taken care and that I had the experience of a lifetime! I had such an amazing experience at Ava Laurenne! My wonderful consultant, Natalie, somehow read my mind and pulled the most perfect dresses for me to try on. I went to David’s bridal a few weeks before this appointment, and let me tell you, it didn’t even compare. I left that appointment thinking I would never find a dress I liked. At Ava Laurenne, I was worried that I wouldn’t find something nice in my budget because I didn’t want to spend more than $1500, and their gowns start at $1200. But I was so wrong! Every single dress I tried on was in my budget and they were so amazing. I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did in these gowns. I was able to bring a group of 8 people. We had a totally private area and it was so cozy. I can’t say enough good things! I’d like to give a huuuge shot out to Natalie! Thank you so much for making this experience so wonderful!

I went into the salon with what I thought would be “my dress”, however my consultant Katie really listened to what I liked and didn’t like about the dress and allowed me to try on numerous dresses to explore all my options. I ended up finding a dress that was new to the shop that one no had even tried on before. I was set up with Virginia for my appointment, and from the moment I met her, I knew the whole dress shopping experience was going to be something Id remember forever. Virginia was so attentive, kind, and complimenting. I had been feeling a bit insecure when trying on dresses and she made me feel so beautiful in every single one! She pulled some of the most beautiful gowns for me to try on and asked such simple, thought-provoking questions that really helped me narrow down styles when I was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed. My appointment ended up going over my scheduled time and I never once felt rushed! I was feeling a little discouraged that I wasnt going to find THE ONE that day, but I asked to try on one last dress and it actually ended up being an immediate YES! The dress fit like a glove, barely needing any alterations - almost like it was made just for me. Again, Virginia did not rush me at all as I was going through the process. Lucky for me, I got to take my gown with me that day, and left with a memory I will truly cherish forever. Every staff member that works there makes you feel so important and valued, and I cannot stress how important that is when finding a dress. Most of us have a thing or two that we struggle with on our bodies, and I felt like such a bombshell because the staff does such a great job with pulling dresses and hyping you up! They really are your hype girls! The selection is also WONDERFUL! It would be hard not to find a gown there because there are just so many great options - even if you need off-the-rack due to having a short engagement like me. If you are overwhelmed with which bridal boutique to visit for your dream dress, I can assure you that you will be spoiled and pampered at ALB and will feel SO BEAUTIFUL! 10 star service! I had a great experience wedding dress shopping here. They were wonderful they took pictures through the whole time and sent them to us along with videos. Patty was amazing she helped me into the dress and clipped them to make them fit right so everyone with me could experience seeing me in it the first time once I was ready. She also gave me different styles I could do with the dresses adding belts and jackets. Also offering snacks and beverages throughout!

I had the most wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ava Laurenne! I called the store before making an appointment to discuss pricing, what designers they carry, and what COVID-19 precautions they were taking. The person I spoke with was incredibly helpful over the phone and made me feel like the drive to Fredericksburg (from Richmond) would be worth it.Natalie was my consultant during the appointment and I feel like she not only listened to what I was looking for, but really helped me hone in on exactly what I was going for. I especially appreciated that every dress she brought me to try was under budget! I tried on about 6 or 7 dresses total and Natalie was so accommodating - she knew exactly what questions to ask and made sure that I got plenty of pictures in each style.The samples were very clean and you can tell the staff takes a lot of care with them to keep them in good condition. Their space is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and while I only brought one guest with me, but there is ample space for larger parties. There is plenty of distance between the many try on areas and I never felt like I was fighting for mirror space or intruding on another brides appointment. I ended up choosing one of their private label dresses and paid in November. When I went to pick it up last night, they were kind enough to let me FaceTime my mom when I tried it on and let me try it with a few veils to get an idea of what looked best.Lastly, one of the best parts was the online payment portal they provide you with after you decide to purchase. I really liked that I was able to pay for my dress over the course of a few months instead of a one-time, large payment. Having that flexibility was great, especially when youre balancing deposits with all the other wedding vendors.I couldnt be happier with my dress and buying from Ava Laurenne - from start to finish, it was just beyond my expectations!

The salon itself is absolutely beautiful in the inside and there is a vast amount of space between bridal parties which also gives you more of a personal experience the entire time! My consultant, manager, and queen herself, Katie, is the SWEETEST human and went above and beyond to not only get to know me and what I want, but to offer insight and perspectives based off of her past experiences and knowledge.I went on 9/12 for the Justin Alexander Trunk Show, so I got to try on some dresses that were there for that day only, and I ended up saying yes to a beautiful JA gown! I went again on 10/10 just to try the dress on again and confirm that it was the one (since I’m very indecisive lol) and I’m relieved to say that Katie got it right the first time!!
