Very rude staff. I brought my phone in to habe the screen replaced. I was told the “charging port failed” but that was all I got. So I went back to get the phone and I asked front desk what the tech was able to figure out besides the port and she said “I don’t know he didn’t tell me anything” in the rudest way. So I asked for the tech to come up and speak to me. Front desk walks back and I hear “the front wants you” and then a sigh an the front desk goes “I know” HOW RUDE LIKE I HEADD YALL!! than as I’m trying to figure out how something failed that was just working I got an attitude of “I’ll fix the screen but my warranty only covers the screen if there are more issues that’s on you.” How disrespectful! I took my device to ubreakifix and they had NO issues with my charging port or replacing the screen. I feel lied to and disrespected I will NEVER come back again

Parts had to be ordered for my phone - came in the next day, stopped by after the text AND email notifying me that the parts had shown up, parts were installed within 45 minutes, out of the door for less than $100. Great customer service, great repair work, great business.

Out of the very few places in the area to have your cell phone repaired I highly recommend this location over the other uBreakiFix location when I went to the other location I was met with attitude from a little female employee who was not pleasant and I am mediately exited for fear of my sanity and sense of well-being

I almost had a heartattack when halfway through my workday, my already malfunctioning charging port was completely kicking the bucket! I had gone to RockIt Repairs WAYYYY back in 2010 for my iPhone 4. I called RockIt Repairs and explained my situation to Deborah. She explained the details of what would and wouldn’t be covered and I rushed from Tappahannock to Fredericksburg at 4:15. Since I’m unfamiliar with the area, Deborah was polite enough to give me directions to Central Park for some dinner. I came back and waited until 6 - the pick up time. The Lead Technician, Josh had issues with the first piece and did not send it out - he worked for another HOUR installing a whole new piece to make sure I wasn’t left with any malfunctions. A little before 7 PM (closing time) - Josh came out and explained that my battery was beginning to go (Apple issue. 🙄), and that if I had it done right then, it’s half off - because of all my waiting time already, the owner came out and offered half off of the charging port already. At the end - I got a new charing port, battery, and charging cord for $99 and some change. My phone has worked better than it ever has as far as charging and battery life. Thank you SO much Deborah, Josh, and the other who I’m assuming was an owner (sorry, I didn’t catch your name). I use my phone for everything, down to my alarm clock for work! You guys rock!! 🙌

I brought my iPhone 8+ in for a screen replacement. It took about two hours and was very inexpensive. I wish I had spent the money at a business who knew what they were doing. When I got my phone back, the screen was replaced as promised, but I immediately started having issues with my battery. It is common for batteries to lose ability to hold a charge when you get your screen replaced for the iPhone 8+, but I figured when I brought it back to the store they would replace it for me because it was their mechanics that’s fried my battery. But, when I returned to let them know what had happened, they refused to replace the battery and told me that their screen replacement was not the issue; even though, while doing my research, I found it was a common issue with screen replacements. I caved in and bought the battery because I cannot afford a new phone and batteries are obviously cheaper. But now, a new issue has risen. My vibration is extremely loud and my home button makes a terribly loud clicking sound and there is no way to fix it in apple settings. I refuse to take it back to them and complain because from previous experience, I know they will break something else. Please, for the love of God, spend the extra money and go somewhere credible!

I brought in a Surface Book (Gen 1) laptop/tablet for a broken screen repair. Literally, everything that could go wrong on this project did... but the guys at Rockit Repairs stepped up BIG TIME, and totally hooked me up. Not only did they repair the cracked screen, but its like a brand new laptop now.The Surface Book itself is about 5 years old, it had been around the world several times, (Im prior military, prior NASA and a current federal employee, so lots of traveling) so in addition to the cracked screen, it had many visible battle scars to show. I paid for a cracked screen repair, but literally the entire tablet portion of the laptop was replaced, it looks and operates like a brand new computer. This probably isnt a typical scenario, but I am extremely grateful to the guys at Rockit Repair, namely Andrew the technician, and Johnathan the guy who answered my 1000s of calls.Anywhos... TL:DR Great place, amazing quality. They really take extraordinary care of their customers, highly recommend.

I came here a few months ago to get my phone screen and LCD replaced. Amazing customer service and I was very happy with the outcome. Today, I came back because I was having a software issue that I assumed was from the aftermarket phone screen. Still amazing as ever customer service, and they fixed my phone again with no issues. My fiance took his phone in and told me I should take my phone in since my screen was cracked. I spoke with Shayne and he told me it would take about 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs. I came back 2 days later (which was more convenient for me to be without my phone) and Shayne remembered who I was, was able to take care of my phone immediately, and it was done within the hour! I was very impressed with his professionalism, his friendliness, and surprised at how fast it took. My screen looks amazing and I love that I have the screen protector with the lifetime warranty. The tracking system via email was great and received updates I needed. Once notified of its speedy repair, I received the laptop back from Stephen. Great repair shop. I had an issue with a couple of things. I had previously posted a poor review of RockIT repairs, as pricing on the site was confusing. It definitely came across as a bait and switch, and I left a review stating as such, and had planned to call and talk to them after I received my phone back and could assess the quality of the repair.The owner of the shop actually called and emailed me before I was able to call. Their site now seems to be more clear regarding the price, and there was an issue with the glue not curing correctly, which the owner has promised to fix, and he refunded me the difference to the price that I had originally expected to pay.They saw that a customer wasnt happy, and went above and beyond to make things right, cant ask for much more than that!UPDATE: Im going to have to knock a star off. After a follow up repair, and Id been assured that the issues the first time I had a repair done (the screen does not sit the same as factory fresh, this might be a result of the repair process, but I was assured that it would). It sits too high. Again, this might be because of gluing on a new piece of glass. More importantly, both times Ive had repairs done, my phone has been sent back to me with glue all over the display, and took some pretty extensive cleaning. But the price is relatively low, so I cant complain too much.

Originally called to see how much it would be to get my phone screen fixed. Was disgusted with how I was spoken to on the phone, after hearing how great the people there are, and multiple people reffering them. I am now seeking going through insurance to get the fix done, but the owner is very nice and reached out to me to apologize, and correct the situation.

My laptop touchscreen cracked and they fixed for a fairly reasonable price, the touchscreen didnt make it cheap. They were very helpful and kept me informed every step of the way. Great, professional job! Everything works wonderfully now.

Called a week in advance to have a phone screen replaced. They asked for the phone type, etc. To order the screen. Told the customer service rep we would be there the following Saturday at 10am to have the screen replaced and he said it would take about an hour, and cost $72 for parts and labor. We get there, we are told 2 hours. Go back in 2 hours, and are told it will be another hour and a half, fine. Go back and are told another 30 minutes, then after the 30 minutes they wanted us to wait even longer! It took about 5 hours to get a phone screen replaced because they ordered the wrong screen. Then changed the price to $112.94 instead of the $72 I was quoted. Wont go back here again. Would rather go to UbreakIfix.

I cant begin to recommend RockIT Repairs enough. I had a damaged thumb drive (that of course had my whole life on it!) that I was afraid would be lost forever. I called RockIT and they gave me a GREAT quote and the mail in process was so easy! A few weeks later - keep in mind it was ALOT of work as they had to rebuild the whole drive -... they returned my thumb drive 100% fixed and mailed it back to me here in Denver. My computer was fixed when I thought it had finally bit the dust! Its been about two months since the repair and my computer is working fine, none of the previous problems persist. Not familiar with how fast it takes to fix computers, but it seemed like a fine time frame. Not familiar with price, but I was told for what I got it was a good price.

I dropped my iPhone 6 and cracked the screen badly. I knew it would have to repaired quickly. RockIT Repairs did it the next day and the service was super friendly, efficient, and fairly priced. At $99 it was WAY cheaper than buying a new iPhone. I live about an hour from Fredericksburg, but it was well worth the drive. My phone is like new!

Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. My problem was a faulty laptop keyboard. The technician updated a few drivers and said everything was fine. It was not. No improvement whatsoever. I negotiated a discounted fee for the work, which was useless.

Very fast service and response time to emails, along with friendly customer service. Full details on repair work and cost and I couldnt be more pleased. My Samsung Note 4 was shutting off and trying to restart randomly, causing the battery to heat up and lock the phone or just shut down, even at 100% battery charge. Replaced with a new battery that didnt help so after a diagnostic check, it was determined I needed a new motherboard. Love my phone so I opted to replace the motherboard instead of the phone (and a new contract!) Much better option, financially, and now with a new board and battery, my phone is good as new. Have already made several recommendations and will definitely use RockIT again if needed in the future! Thanks guys, you rock it!

After taking my desktop to the Geek Squad and a couple other overpriced big stores I found RockIT and they cleaned it of malware and restored it to a like new condition at fraction of the cost. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back and refer all friends to RockIT computer and smart phone repairs.

I have been at RockIT Repair twice. First time about a 2 years ago, was fine, they were able to to help. I went about a week ago, and had a very bad experience. They younger guys there are not very helpful and not very friendly. I took my daughters ipod to get fixed, it had water damage & a cracked screen. They called me to say that it would be about $210 + labor costs, to get fixed. So I decided it was better to just purchase a new one. I was told over the phone, I would get reimbursed some of the $56 I had already paid (for the water damage). Once I got there I was told that money I paid, was non-refundable and I asked if I could get $ for the ipod if they kept it to recycle ....since over the phone they told me I could get $ for it....but nooooo...... waste of my $ .....and I did let them keep my ipod and I just walked out........very bad customer service!!

Thanks for fixing my cracked laptop screen so fast. My screen was ordered yesterday, came in today and I am now using it to write this review. As a teacher I rely on my tech. equipment whether it be personal or professional. RockIT Repairs did an amazing job. Not many words to say but WOW!

The people that work here are honest and dont just try to tell you anything to get your money. I took my phone here to be fixed because I thought it had a crack in the screen and it never occurred to me to take off my screen protector well one of the guys emailed me to tell me there was nothing wrong with my phone and lol I argued him down to tell him it was. He assured me that my phone looked good as new and would show me when I got there. To my surprise he was absolutely right there was nothing wrong with my phone. The crack that I thought was across my phone screen was actually across my screen protector. Now this is where the honesty comes in. He could have told me that my phone was cracked and charged me close to $200 acting like he had fixed it and I wouldnt have known the difference but he didnt do that. He told me the truth and I was totally grateful for this. I would tell anybody to go here for repairs because of my positive experience. Its good to know there are still some honest people in the world who are not all about taking your money.

Used to be quality service when the owner was in house! NOT ANYMORE younger guys there service was unexpectedly horrible ! CHARGED me 80$ to play with my euiquipment ! We sent in a Galaxy S6 for a glass replacement as no one where we live will do it. People here were wanting to replace the whole screen and charge $250 and that is when we found RockIT repairs online that would do the glass replacement for only $150. We were thrilled with how fast they repaired and sent it back to us. We are really thankful there are people who can do this type of work and can do send ins. We will be using them in the future if we ever need repairs done.

After dropping my iPhone out of my pocket onto the sidewalk last summer, I was in desperate need of a reputable shop to fix my completely shattered and unusable phone. Thankfully Rock-It Repairs was nearby and replaced the front glass on my phone in only a couple of hours (they were pretty busy, but not surprising given the quality of their work!) Six months later, my phone is working as good as new. I would definitely recommend this local shop to anyone looking to get their electronics fixed quickly at reasonable prices for quality service!

My wifes Kindle Fire had a faulty charging port (as did a large number of other Fires, according to online complaints.) Amazon wasnt interested - they offered to sell me a refurbished one for a price near the price of a new one. I took it to a local shop which could fix anything. Except for the Fire - they wouldnt guarantee it, but I would still pay the $60 charge. So I got online and found RockIT Repairs in Virginia. They said, Sure, mail it to us, well fix it immediately and return by Priority Mail. Thats exactly what happened. I mailed it from Sacramento on Friday and we had it back by the following Friday. It works perfectly! Do you have a broken phone, tablet, e-reader, or almost anything electronic? I highly recommend RockIT Repairs.

They are technically competent, and their repair was fine. However, dealing with them was a goat rodeo. It took a great deal longer than I was told that it would, about a month total. Then they said they were going to ship it out the day that I paid for the repair over the phone, but never actually shipped it until I inquired almost a week later. They sent me my phone with somebody elses bill enclosed in the package. They did not appear to apply the Facebook-advertised discount, but without a copy of the bill, perhaps I am mistaken on this one. They are probably nice folks, but they need someone with some organizational skills to run the place!

Everything about my repair went just as advertised. I mailed in my phone. They fixed a shattered glass screen on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. My laptop was painfully slow and freezing up requiring constant reboots. I took it to Rocket Repair and was not happy with the double pricing I got so I wrote a scathing review throwing them under the bus and then backing over them again. Within hours Jim the owner called and told me the pricing was incorrect and to bring my laptop back and it would be repaired at no additional cost as a matter of good will. Its refreshing to see a small business have the integrity to stand behind their work and try to please every customer.

Our older model Dell Inspiron 15R was performing poor for several months and perhaps closer to a year. The time it took to boot up and get a web browser established were exceeding long. We did perform backups a few times / year and were able to get one last done before taking it to RockIT Repairs a couple of weeks ago. Although we should have went sooner we finally did due to the OS reporting disc errors emphasizing the critical nature of the hard drive condition. On the phone, Steven provided excellent up front options, advice and pricing information. He and his team replaced the 1 TB mechanical drive with a 1/2 TB SSD drive, installed Windows 10, MS Office, Adobe, Chrome and Anti-Virus software for under $200.00. The computer performs better than it did brand new. I am going to price upgrading the RAM from 8 GB to 16. I will also see about an apparent memory issue we have with an older model Dell Studio 1555. I also recommended my son get his HP heating issue estimated for free. Steven and his team were very professional, fast and effective.

I took my Droid Razor to get the screen fixed. I picked up my phone on a Saturday right as the place was closing. Sunday I noticed that I was having some problems with my phone that were new. I took my phone back in on Monday during my lunch hour and was told to leave it there. Monday after work I picked my phone up again and it was working good as new.Customer service is an A+. A rockIT repair is a quality repair. My computer caught a bug... Turned out it was a terminal disease and I lost everything. However, RockIT did their best to restore pictures etc. All was lost. But the relationship with a quality repair store lives on. Their recommendations for avoiding this in the future, as well as their quick rocket turnover was excellent.

My hard drive had to be replaced, and it was done quickly. RockIT also helped me retrieve lost documents through another company, and was constantly in touch regarding the progress. Im very impressed.

Horrible customer service. Sent over a smart watch and wasnt familiar with the process. I was told I had to pay $30 for them to return it or pay more for them to even look at it which was fine but after I paid for them to try to fix the person I spoke to was very rude short and dry. None of them explained anything and my watch was returned in the same way it was sent with nothing but a receipt showing how much they charged. I had to call to ask them what they did. Once again dry rude and short. I paid almost $100 total for nothing. I understand there arent any guarantees but I felt like this was a ripoff.

This place will tell you that you need to replace a working cracked screen with a whole new screen that doesnt work. I had to take my phone back a week after they fixed it because the screen was freezing. After they fixed it again, the same problem was happening along with my 3D Touch no longer working. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. It might be cheaper than some places but with the quality of parts and work, you are better off paying a little more.

We have a 3 year old top end gaming computer that originally cost $3K to build. After several thousand gaming hours, we were having some problems with it and took it to RockIT Repairs and they worked their magic. It came back to us working better than new for under $200. These guys know their stuff and we wont take our machines anywhere else from now on!
