I had my jewelry appraised. It was an easy process with an experienced appraiser, but a little pricier than I anticipated. I like the employees, they are attentive and helpful. They also do a good job cleaning and checking jewelry for loose stones.

Good customer service but a little bit pricey

I’m sadly disappointed in this location due to the manager on duty Carmen. I’ve had 2 interactions with her, first where I was sending my ring for repairs and she rolled her eyes at me and refused to write my concerns on the ticket. She said “ well I don’t have to write it that way, it means the same”. Getting my ring back not the way I wanted them, clearly it wasn’t! The second when I took in my earrings for dipping, where she said “when you’re ready to buy you some big girl earrings, they will be made of gold, so you won’t have that problem”. I found that to be degrading, embarrassing and down right unethical! I will be filing a complaint and recommend that you take your business elsewhere! It’s clear that if you’re not up to Carmens financial standards, you’re not worth her time or professionalism.

My fiancé and I came to the Helzberg Diamonds located in the Spotsylvania mall on July 29. We knew that we had a very short amount of time before our wedding so we were worried about being able to find anything. We had already gone to two different jewelry stores that day and our experiences were horrible. One said they had no openings to see us till the week after and the other showed me rings and waited for me to pick one out before they told me that they don’t even know if they could ever get it for me. We went in to Helzberg thinking it was going to be the same story and way overpriced. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly happy employee who showed us over to the rings. We were helped by Amal and Sandra, there was another girl present but unfortunately I do not recall her name. I was so surprised by the large amount of wedding bands they had, all of them stunning. Before we started looking I asked her the dreaded question of if we would even be able to get a ring. She took all of the stress off my shoulders when she told me the short wait that would work with our tight schedule. During our time all three of the employees there were so kind and helpful to us. At no point did I feel they were pushing a sale on me or just trying to sell me something quick. They took their time showing me different options and even catched on to my reactions to the rings and easily identified the perfect ring for me. I have never had more attentive wonderful customer service in my life. I have been sure to recommend them to every one who will listen.

I went here with a future bride to look at rings and returned later that week to help the future groom choose and purchase a ring. The bride and I visited a competing store first, as the name was one we were very familiar with. After a horrible experience we walked right across the hall to Helzberg Diamonds and had a WONDERFUL experience. Both times I was in the store we were addressed by name during conversation, we were given the undivided attention of the sales associate, we werent rushed, and we were presented with a large selection of rings. The financing options were explained in detail and the sales associate worked within the stated budget to help the groom get the perfect ring. This store has earned ALL of my future jewelry business. I guess some kisses begin with Helzberg.

Very friendly, good prices. Something for everyone. The best jewelry store in the mall in my opinnion.I highly recommend purchasing the protection plan if you buy something. They inspect and clean your piece for free twice a year with that plan and its reasonable.

Their service was impeccable. Took 3 watches in need of attention. Minor issues. One was sent out for repair. The other 2 need minor fixes. In possession of both watches now. Price was less than anticipated.

Wonderful experience with Kat R! Some of the other staff tries a little too hard to sell but Kat was very helpful, friendly, and personable. Store has a good selection of nice looking rings.

Very friendly staff

The staff is very nice, but they do not know what they are doing. I purchased a very nice ring for my wife as a present, but needed by a specific date. I was promised that it would be done, that didnt happen. We were also promised a spa gift card, but the inept sales person neglected to tell us that any advertised specials, could not be combined with any other discounts, but it was promised and she even took down the email address and everything else so it could be sent to us. Then, the last straw. I went to pick it up, as it was late and I was willing to over look that because my wife loved the ring. I brought it home and my wife tried it on and it didnt fit. She was so upset and was willing to overlook this until the ring didnt fit and she asked me to take it back to the store. When I did, they were very upset and asked if they could do anything to help alleviate the problem, I said no and asked if they had a district or higher form of manager, they told me no, which once I called the main Helzberg phone number, found out that was not the full truth.
