I have been coming to this place over 13 years and I never had any problems. Chris is always in a happy mood, very friendly and with a big smile. He always tried to help me if I cant make it on time with my due date. He always ask me when will I be able to make it, do I need more time and even goes above all to give me an extension. I will always recommend this place to my friends and family . Its the only place I go. They have the best great customer service. Chris dont let the bad review bother you cause you know deeply down your heart how much you tried to help your customer in any way you can.

Place is a joke! I went there with a gold ring that definitely had some weight to it and a few other pieces that i wasnt 100% sure were gold or not, they were all in the same little jewelery box (mind u, some of the pieces were sitting on top of others) this kid, maybe 20 yrs old working there, sticks some kind of magnet on top of the box then pulls it away and says no good. He didnt even really look to see if anything was sticking! Then, for the ring he hit me with how much are u looking to get? Which is a pawn shop scam when they wanna rob u instead of telling u what its worth. I told him to make me an offer. U know what he offered me.....$30! Are you KIDDING ME king gold and pawn!?? I wish i could give 0 stars!! I took everything, left, and went to another place on N.Franklin in Hempstead and got $200 for everything! If u read this and ur thinking of going to King Gold and Pawn...DONT!!! Go anywhere else, just dont go there!

I took a gold bracelet there they tried to give me a 100.00 dollars for it. I took it to another pawn shop received 180.00 for it. Would you ever go back there again. They tried to beat me out of 80.00 dollars. This place sucks 24 West Merrick Road Freeport, NY what else is it more to say.

The man that was there tryes to rob ppl told me i had goods worth 140 and i went to another place down the block ok pawn and i got over 750 for the very same items avoid doing business there at or cost
