They kept in constant contact with us during the buying process. They found used vehicles to test drive and try until we eventually decided to buy a new truck. We had to wait months without much movement but they kept us updated and ultimately got us a truck much quicker than we would’ve got it by working with other dealerships. We love our truck and look forward to buying our next vehicle at Baumann.

This review is aimed towards service department. I have nothing really to say about the sales department since Ive only purchased one vehicle from them. They were nice and courteous. Anyways the reason for my review.I purchased used vehicle and a few weeks later had an oil leak. Okay it happens and it was used not CPO so no blame on the dealership, just unlucky enough to buy a used vehicle with a preexisting issue. Got the car scheduled for service and took it in. They said it was the valve cover gasket and would be somewhere between $400-$500 to replace. I told them to fix it and paid the service charge. After it was done they called and said they found a coolant leak issue from outlet housing and hose and it would be another $300-$400 to fix. I opted to deny the repair because I knew I had no coolant issues when I took it in and wanted to check it out myself. I found that where the upper radiator hose connects to the outlet valve was completely cracked. Had it been that way prior I would have definitely overheated the car before even getting it to the dealership. Coolant was spewing out so bad that the reservoir tank would empty out as fast as you could add coolant to it. No way in hell it was like that before taking it in.In my honest opinion I think someway somehow some pressure was applied to the top of that hose while they were working on the valve gasket cover and they cracked it. Then decided to call me and charge ME to fix it. A $300-$400 charge for a $40 part and a repair that took me 30 minutes to do.Never taking my vehicles in there to get work done. You shouldnt either. No telling how many unknowing civilians they have taken advantage of over the years. Im lucky enough to have extensive mechanical knowledge and was hoping for a straightforward fix on the valve cover gasket since I couldnt make time to do it myself. If you know nothing about cars they will tell you your flux capacitor needs replaced and charge you $800 to do it 🙄

They were alot faster this time. It would be nice if they told me if they rotated my tires I didnt see it on the paper work. Just said as needed thanks keep up the gr8 job

Pat and Alec were awesome! They went above and beyond to get me out of my trade and found suitable financing so I could finally get the vehicle I really wanted. My husband and I were kept informed while the vehicle was in transit. Pat further explained the mechanics which was a huge help and Marty was wonderful with the financials as well. We have purchased other vehicles from Baumanns and will definitely continue to do so.

As a returning buyer and long time customer of Baumanns . I was intending to buy from this dealership. Walked in and watched 3 sales employees watch me for 7 to 10 min before inquiring if I needed help. Told them I was looking for a car. I was told a dozen reasons I couldnt get one or even order one. No option or solutions were suggested. It was a cash sale and I was ready to purchase. Very disappointed. Got fed up and bought a 2021 Honda 2 hrs later, drove it home. . I would have worked with your company if they would have told me what they could do,instead they only offered what they cant do. Terrible salesmanship. This was not the company I had done business in the past.

They tout a great customer service experience but dont live up to their own claims. Dont get swindled by their service department and overpaid under-trained technicians. If they treated loyal customers better then I wouldnt have to warn other of these deceitful practices.

The salesman Jeff Rood was courteous to us and knowledgeable about the Equinox he was selling us. This is the third vehicle (one used two new) that we purchased from Jeff. We always feel confident after the sale that we made the right decision when we are told that if something is not how it should be they are there to help.

I rated this dealer a 5 star for a couple of reasons. #1. I only spent a total of 2 hours at the dealer which included us test driving the vehicle, and signing the loan documents. #2. We received exceptional customer service from Marty, Pat, and Andy! Thank you Marty for working your magic to help get my son approved for his 2016 Camaro he wanted. The car is absolutely beautiful! Thank you Andy for assisting us while Pat was off to make sure we had all of our documents needed for the loan process. Thank you Pat for getting us in and out of the dealership in 2 hours. This was very important since I lived 3 hours away. Thanks again for all that you did to make our experience awasome.

At that time, I was just browsing not exactly sure what I wanted. I just knew that I was in the market. I recently got in an accident. Back door and tire, along with the steering was shot. During the process of getting a run for my money in a no fault situation through my insurance company, the dealership was little better in how they handled my case. They fixed it well but was not excited about being almost left high and dry without a vehicle from both parties. Had to fight to get to work and was really frustrated with the whole process and the lack of communication.

RJ got me the best deal! Thanks again brother. Honest and straight up, qualities that are hard to come by in today’s world. I will come to Baumann as long as he is there.

I was there for an oil change. They are always great at telling you exactly how everything looks (tire tread, breaks, etc) so there are not surprises when its time for those things to be changed. Its very rare that I have to add anything more than what I expected. Before I came to Baumanns for my service, I felt like I was always being told I needed extra unplanned things. I will always go to Baumanns for service.

We had to stop overnight in Fremont on our way home from Cedar Point due to car trouble. Contacted them first thing Monday morning, and they worked us in and got us going as quickly as they could. John and everyone there were extremely friendly and accommodating. Leland drove us back to the hotel and was just a great guy! Price was very reasonable and the service was terrific. The other GM service center in town was indifferent to our situation when we called and bluntly said maybe tomorrow. The Al Bauman service center truly understands customer service, and it showed! First truck I bought cost the wife and I $3000 in two years fixing it. I hit a deer this year and found a “nice” Tacoma ‘11 have had it less than three months and already having issues with lights and window controls not working!?!?! Thank God we bought the extra warranty! Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else! If I could give them negative stars I would!!!

I had to worse service and most unpleasant experience in my life with them. They had a car listed for sale and had it sold two days prior to me inquiring about it. The day of travailing out of town to pick it up I phoned the sales rep. They did not know that the vehicle was sold! I put insurance on the vehicle and everything before arriving. When I arrived after a one hour road trip they told me they sold it two day prior. This post requires you give it a star rating. They are lucky to get 1 star.

Horrible service, my husband called this place in the morning and asked about a truck if it was still available and gave them number of the truck to the lady to look it up and she said yes it was still available. We said ok and drove 45 mins to their place within an hour of being told it was available and when we arrived they told us that sorry the car sold. After we just spoke to a lady there. We were told sorry but we have other cars to look at. Very upset that they lied to us just to try to sell us something else.

Found a car for sale online I was interested in and gave the dealership a call. Spoke with manager and a representative about the 98 Acura. The manager said its a great car, nothing wrong with it. The sales rep who I spoke to afterwards stated the seat adjustment does not work. Come to find out, after reviewing the autocheck report the mileage on the car was rolled back about 55k miles. How about disclosing the information right away Instead of encouraging me to drive 2 hours for a test drive. If youre a dealership doing business with integrity, how can you sell such a car? Would you want one of your relatives to buy this car?? Not honest business. Too bad. I wonder how they got all the good reviews.

I have been buying and servicing my vehicles for around 30 years. I have always thought the service department was 2nd to none... until this particular visit. My only complaint is they did not clean up their mess. My car had leakage issues with the sunroof (my drivers side inside on the roof would leak) in which the leak caused the wires to become corroded. They cleaned up the wires and fixed my leak issue. However, when I flipped down the sun visor, there were grease stains all over, and the inside of my front windshield looked as though they sprayed the entire windshield with water and failed to wipe up. There is water spots all over the inside windshield. Other than that, service was top notch. Thank you! Tami Aldrich

Check engine light came on, got an email from my Chevrolet. Called on Tues morning and got an appointment for Wed morning. Will have to go back Fri morning because they had to order a part. Never have problems with their sales or service at Baumann Chevy.

Had them replace the heater blower in my 3 year old truck because mice got in it somehow. After the repair I had a terrible smell coming from the vents. I had to pull the truck apart myself. I found the new blower was clean but ground up mouse parts all over the inside of the housing and duct. I spent hours cleaning it up and my truck still smells. All because a lazy tech didnt do his job. I also noticed the new air filter was installed backwards.
