It was Sunday and I needed 2 10-ft lengths of 4x4 I did not know they were closing it 7:00 so they come up to me and my fiance and said is there anything we can help you find and I said 4x4s two of them 10 ft oh youd have to go out to the yard yourself and get them but be best just to come back tomorrow I said I dont want to come back here tomorrow todays my day off. Maybe somebody else came up and asked me what I needed when I told him 4x4s he said oh I think the yards closed I just turned around and walked away

Today 8/7/2021while I was in Menard’s-Fremont Ne, two 1/2 weeks post op from a total shoulder replacement/sling & struggling as I attempted & failed to slide a big bag of potting soil onto the bottom of my cart. Unfortunately other shoppers walked by watching me struggling with one good arm…an employee on a forklift stopped, offered & gave assistance.I was near tears in frustration at this point, as I could not accomplish even this simple thing. The employee was absolutely amazing & told me not to worry, & he did not mind helping!I just want to say, “Thank you sir! You have an amazing heart and I can’t tell you how very much your help meant & continues to mean to me!!!!” It’s been a tough & rough couple of weeks post op & I just needed to put my good hand into some potting soil & mums.Thx also to my checker for anticipating my need for a carry out! Menard is a great place to get a huge variety of items for your home at decent prices. Lighting fixtures, kitchen sinks, lumber, garden supplies, paint, cement are just a few of the items they have available. They have knowledgable staff that are always happy to help with a smile.

I bought 4 guage wire was told to drive around to the warehouse to get it. I had to wait for half-hour before someone came out. Thats after I went inside to tell them. I was told to wait in my car for them. This was absurd.

Good experience and good prices. Ill keep going as long as they dont make you wear a mask.

Well stocked, clean and very helpful staff. They were very friendly and were happy to assist when asked. Also very helpful over the phone, as we had called to verify that items were in-stock before driving to the store.

Very understaffed. Hard to find anyone for help, inside and out. They dont carry the name brand tools worth buying. Mail in rebate looks like junk mail on purpose. So be careful!

Havnt been in Menards since they demanded masks. I went in the garden section the last two days without a mask,no one said anything so I thought maybe they relaxed on forcing you to wear one. But today I had a rude employee follow me while I was outside the garden and tell me I needed a mask,while Im outside not near anyone with it being 80° out. I wont be returning to Menards ever

We get all the way thru checking out,cashier says we were lucky that she didnt noticed you didnt have a mask on if not she wouldnt have checked us out.i told her well were just using up our rebate money...she said if we did not like it dont come back they dont need our business...huh...I spent over 30k last year there ...said thats ok we dont need the business ...Debra Fremont nebraska store...said that so need go else were after I get my rebates spent

Had exactly what we were looking for. Price was a bit high but my husband likes there sunglasses. Last pair lasted 8 years so they have that going for them. Casheer was very thuro in her cleaning and service provided. She wore a mask and thanked me for comming in.

My favorite place to go for my home project needs. Great prices, they always price match. Customer service is great besides a few bad hair days.Not paid to say this, this is my honest opinion!

Shopped here on Sunday wearing my own mask. Thank you very much for requiring everyone to wear masks and not allowing people to shop without one. Masks are for the safety of not only your employees but also shoppers with health issues. Plenty of advance warning on needing to wear a mask before entering store. Had a great shopping experience.

Menards is too expensive when it comes to pet food other items are very expensive cubic pet food and toys are the most expensive Im not paying $dollar for small can of cat food thats ridiculous theres a lot of things in Menards is cheap but what why do they charge so much for cat food

Menards didnt help during the big flood, now they charge people for masks when other stores give masks out to there shoppers.anything for a buck....Home depot or Lowls needs to come to Fremont

Called in with a part # and size for a belt from a tiller that was bought there. Was told would have to bring the belt in to find the size. It’s stretched, how do you size from a stretched belt? I have part #’s. I am not going to tear it apart to bring it in and then you don’t have it.

Always great service and they always go out there way to help me. I have been shopping at this store since it opened and will continue as long as I get treated as I always have been so far.

$1,841 rebate, 14 weeks to issue rebate, but not the full amount, $1,816. purchased post frame building, after a month wait for delivery, found stuff that was missing, go in to get missing stuff, because its special order, the say its not their problem contact their vendor. thats bs, I gave you money to get me it, now I have to go deal with re ordering missing parts? with your vendors? Paid for delivery of all materials, yet I took several trips into menards with a trailer to pickup missing materials, and several trips into valley plant. had to have a truss repair engineered also, manager threw away the print after it was delivered. what a joke

Selling masks at the door $1, if you refuse to purchase their mask and do not have your own they are trying to deny you entry to shop..No hand sanitizer at the front entrance, employees wearing masks improperly inside the store while helping customers..Confronted by manager after checkout about no mask, after spending $100+.Dont be afraid to take your business elsewhere!!!!!

I have used our local Menards a great many times over the past 15 plus years. Like any store, the people can make or break it, and these people have made a good store. And...Yes, I would reccomend this MenardsAnd the fair pricing does help, and that they usually have what I want or need.

Most of the time this place has what I am looking for. Customer service can vary. Checkout speed is ok. Glad they are in town for convenience and I dont have to drive to Omaha. They have room from improvement.

Both my wife Jana and I have had a wonderful experience at Menards in Fremont, NE. We purchased our kitchen cabinets from Stephen. He was awesome and very helpful. We went with the Medallion Cabinets and they turned out awesome. Few little tiny issues but nothing major and were addressed immediately by Stephen. Morgan over in the carpet & tile department was beyond helpful in our decision making. We purchased our carpet, padding as well as tile from her. They are both outstanding in customer service and knowledge and I will highly recommend them to anyone. GREAT JOB Stephen & Morgan!!

Looking for cordless drills and was unimpressed by their selection. Over priced and only carry low grade brands that in my experience prove unreliable

They have a huge selection of stuff here, which is great. And there are some good deals to be found. One thing they could improve on is customer service. I came to pick up a piece of furniture I ordered off their website, and none of their employees offered to help me load it into my car (it was pretty heavy). Luckily, Im strong (and a super nice guy in the parking lot saw me struggling and helped out). But even Best Buy (whose customer service is dubious at times, imo) offers to help load stuff in your car, they even let you drive up to the door and park there to load up.

This Menards has terrible customer service. No one wants to help, the forklift guy gave me attitude, and they caused me to be there much longer than needed because they rang up an item wrong that I had to drive around back for, even though I brought them the exact stone and sku for. The lady that worked the gate to the backyard did not say a word to me so I didn’t know where to go. If you need any kind of help, I recommend driving to the Menards in Omaha instead.

I REFUSE to shop here as long as they refuse to let certain parts of society into their stores. And as long as they force customers to wear a mask

Like all that menards has to offer. Help was not easy to find this day though. And the employee who attempted to help with deadbolt selection really wasnt much help. She said she would have dept manager call me. Which I guess is better than nothing.

I have two problems with this place. First, the sale prices many times are based on a REBATE, which is not always obvious. So they mislead you until you get to checkout and are surprised with price charged. Second, the checkout process is the worst service! They require you to bag your own items...if youre not paying attention the cashier just stands there rudely like youre stupid. No help. Bad service.

I can wander around Menards for hours developing projects in my head. They seem to have everything to repair or construct anything. Prices are great, customer service is A+. Thanks

Im 8 months pregnant and they didnt bat an eye when I asked for help loading mulch. I hate asking for help, I feel like Im not handicapped or hurt but I know I need to be careful not to push myself to far. I appreciate the help.
