Everyone who works here knows their plants and goes above and beyond giving information to help make the best of your growing experience. Has an amazing variety year long, and Christmas trees in the winter. They have indoor plants, succulents, cacti, fruit trees, herbs, local plants, roses, bushes, you name it...they have it! Pots are pretty spread around and they have a variety of seeds and soil. Overall, its your one stop plant shop!
Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good selection of plants. Grab your cart and load it up. There is a clearance section if u go in turn right after thrbuilding and head straight down. Its in the right corner at the end with a sign. Employee told me about it maybe something there you may like at a discount.
Premium prices at lower quality or nothing better than what you would get at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Bought a sunflower plant paying 40% more price than at Lowe’s. The day after purchase at Regan, I found much healthier plants at Lowe’s. Thought the plant bought at Regan will come up after taking good care but it never did and started dying in a week. Problem with Regan nursery is the plants are kept in open sun taking in more heat than needed so plants are already in bad condition or become bad due to over exposure to sun.Due to Covid, they don’t answer any phone calls and not a great idea to go when no receipt. Who would have thought of saving these receipts?
Beautiful nursery with the biggest collection of rose bushes of different varieties and types. From hybrid tea rose, floribunda, grandiflora to climbing and shrubs, all are found in abundance and in many colors and forms. They have a wide selection of all types of plants one needs for a garden, including veggies and succulents. All sales are final. So no return. Love this beautiful place.
I love going to plant nurseries and have been to many in the Bay Area. Regan is so far the best. The place is huge with various of plants. The price is one of the cheapest among nurseries. Totally recommend!
Ernesto and Greg are FABULOUS! 🥰 They both gave us a lot of tips and tricks in how to grow our roses. Everyone was very VERY nice. Will be coming back for all of my future roses.
Absolutely phenomenal rose selection -- the best of any nursery in the Bay area that Ive visited! My husband took me here to select a birthday rose. All of the workers were very friendly, but one in particular, Greg, knew his roses like you wouldnt believe, and he helped me so much! I ended up leaving with 4 roses, two of which are extremely difficult to find due to popularity (including the Princess Alexandra of Kent which Ive been dying to own for years). Thank you Greg!!! Also, unlike other nurseries where you have to rely on a photo, almost all of the roses were in full bloom and very healthy. Love this place, Ill be back!
Very efficient and organized during the pandemic. I shopped at Regan nursery for the first time. There was a slightly long line before I entered the premises, but once I entered, the parking, shopping and checkout was pretty quick and efficiently organized. I was done in 15 mins in all. Good collection of plants and tree saplings. Ill go back again to check their indoor plants and some planters. Fair price.
Expensive but it does have interesting unique plants. Because it is expensive, things dont sell out as fast and you will probably find an avocado tree or some other plant. They had alot of Dave Wilson plants and fruit varieties (peaches, plums, etc). Nice nursery. Definitely a full price nursery if you compare to big box stores.
Good collection of roses and all plant varieties but prices little bit on higher side
Lots of plants there. Good for a visit but not for buying because everything is super pricey. Try Lowe’s or hd if they have the same plants, they are much cheaper.
Beautiful and spacious nursery.Nice maple treesThe roses are the star here. The voodoo roses were absolutely breathtaking.
I ordered 2 hybrid tea tree roses from Reagan nursery and I ordered 2 from Jackson Perkins. They are all blooming right now and the comparison is totally unbelievable. The Jackson Perkins rose blooms are huge & beautiful & the plants are healthy while the Reagan nursery roses don’t even look like hybrid tea roses . Attached to the Reagan roses are pictures of the rose with the name of it. Unfortunately, the rose doesn’t even closely resemble the picture. I paid nearly $200 for the 2 Reagan roses but will never order from them again. It’s Jackson Perkins who is the master of roses and I learned this by wasting money on Reagan roses. Since they are all growing together, are fertilized and watered the same, it really takes the guess work out of it. I am very disappointed!
Their staff is always helpful and friendly. Tons of varieties of roses. Fruits trees go quick. Gotta get them early. Nice selection of succulents.
Very nice and organized nursery. Provider variety of plants and fruit tree. I always brought the fruit tree here because of the availability and quantity.
Wonderful selection of roses. Very healthy plants
Very helpful staff, provide advice whether youre buying their plants or not, and take the time to analyze your (vague!) direction, soil and sunlight situations. Greg took us on a nice tour of the flocked Christmas trees in the greenhouse, explained how to clean them of flocking to prepare for composting, determined flocking ingredients (Boron, anyone?!) and walked us through the pros and cons relative to Douglas and Noble firs.
This place is beautiful. Lots of options and variety to pick from. Associates are kind and helpful too!
Something of a minor throwback to when nurseries were centers of general botanical expertise. Ive only visited a couple times and came away quite favorable impressed with selection and knowledgeable staff. My neighbors all speak very highly of this location as well. Sad to think that it is perpetually on the chopping block to be shut down by the city in pursuit of additional hideous high density housing.
Closed early than scheduled, arrived 20mins before 4pm to checkout and pick up something quickly, but failed as they already closed, wasted 40mins drive, huge disappointment!
Reagan Nursery is one of the highlights of Fremont! Great plant selection and knowlegeable/friendly staff.
I love this place! big variety of plants and herbs and cactus. All outdoors!
Huge variety of roses today.Price reasonable.
Loved the nursery. We were going to the big box stores for plants but they were so busy. REGAN nursery is monitoring crowd. So many plants we didnt get to see them all. Walked out with about 8 plants, that Also included a bay leaf plant. Yay
Love Regan’s Nursery! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful! They spent time with you and answer any questions you may have regarding planting, season appropriate and location! I have been shopping here for nearly thirty years and have not been disappointed with plant selection or service!
The nursery has a good selection, but their customer service is terrible. I was turned away from the nursery despite arriving during their working hours. The open hours on Sat are until 4 pm. I arrived at the nursery at 3:22 pm, well within their working hours. They told me that there’s no parking space to let additional cars in. While I write this review at 3:35, I can see several open parking spaces. Perhaps they want to take off early to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend, but they ought to be sensitive to customers who drove down believing that they are “open” until 4 pm.
Very friendly staff. My go to for all things plants
The spot for best roses !
Heard about this place from other garden DIY people and would love to visit and looking for some types of roses. However we drove almost an hour from northeast bay to there and found out it’s not allowed kids under 12 to enter due to COVID. I understand how serious COVID is but still feel really sad and disappointed about it. It’s my fault for not checking their website before we went. Hopefully they will remove this restriction soon for family that wants to visit and get some plants together. We went to other nurseries on the way back but none of them have same requirements (no kids under 12) Is it because rose have thorn so for safety reason? I really would like to find out why? Thank you
Best place for roses.
Lots of good varieties of plants
Horrible customer service. They are restricting entry to one direction (which you don’t know until you pull up to the gate and are told to turn around) and then you’re made to back out into the middle of a busy intersection. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous. Please come up with a better system.
First time visit in 30+ years, thanks to the lockdown-induced new hobby. It is a rose-lovers heaven and can save a trip to Rose Garden in San Jose. A little-known jewel in Fremont and a great addition to must-vist bucket list besides Ardenwood Historic Farm.
Nice and friendly staff. Lot of plants with reasonable prices
They really take care of the plants and customers. The fruit trees and decorative shrubs we bought from them have always thrived. In one case when one of the plants died (may have been our fault of improper maintenance ), Reagan even offered a free exchange to a new plant !!
Lots of flowers to select from.. beautiful place!!
Great place to find beautiful and good variety of plants and trees.
Amazing variety of plants. Loved it
We love this place for a wide variety of plants. They have ver knowledgeable staff. Price is little higher if you compare to the plants available in costco or home depot but they take good care of the plants unlike the chains
Very wide selection of roses and lots of Japanese maples. Not very exciting in terms of bedding plants, but that could be the time of year; will try again next spring.
Just beautiful! As a customer in search of flowers for our new backyard, I was very happy with Regan. I was able to walk through the nursery and see all the different types of roses and pick the ones I liked most. A must go.
Best nursery since Western nursery closed its door. Knowledgeable staff, huge selection, reasonable prices.
Very helpful!
No real big sign to let you know youre there. Other than that its clean and organized. Pretty
Great plants and very knowledgeable gardeners!
Great selection of plants and trees workers a little rude
Ive bought a couple house plants (ficus elastica tineke & neon pothos) and succulents from Regan Nursery. They have a great variety of succulents. I always spend most of my time eyeing the 2-inch nursery pot succulents. I know they have a ton of roses as well, but Im not a rose person. Recently, I bought a couple of lithops, and they appear healthy. Only 2 succulents died, but only due to my mistake. The poor things couldnt handle the amount of sunlight on my balcony. Ill definitely become a regular since this nursery is nearby and they have a great variety of plants.
Very knowledgeable staff!
Great selection of roses. Highly recommend visiting in early spring!
This is my third year ordering from Regan and every year gets better. The plants I have received are huge and healthy! Im a customer for life.
Everything is here.
Great selection and service.
I have been going to Regan for years. My mom turned me on to them must have been 20 years ago or so. She purchased quite a few maples and they are doing great. We just had our house painted and I it looks great. However t right at the front door we have a over grown bammbbo. We hope you can help. We well be in tomorrow about noon. We are looking for something no taller than 7 feet but no shorter than 5 feet. It should look good all year around, preferably constant blume or at least twice s year.
Their plants are always good quality and the people are both knowledgeable and helpful.
The employees are so helpful and knowledgeable and they have a large selection
They have lots of plants to choose from, including lots of roses and fruit trees.
I got 10 rose bushes on sale here two weeks ago. THEY WERE ALL INFECTED WITH THRIPS!!! Horrible horrible experience! Now my entire yard is exposed to these nasty pests. This is a place that claims to specialize in roses. When I asked why a particular bush looked wilted the worked told me it just needed watering. Please do the due diligence and dispose of infected plants instead of offering them to unsuspecting customers!!!This resulted in enormous waste of time, money, and I am still not sure if I got rid of the problem.DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE FOR ROSES!
Love your nursery, great succulent selection, will come back soon
As lovers of roses, especially vintage, hard to find species, this is our place to find them. Quality and selections of all their plants are top notch.
Nice
Best nursery knowledgeable staff
They offer 90 days guarantee on bare root trees, shrubs and roses! You can have either replacement or store credit.
Green Thumb HubGardening at your backyard and front yard needs flowers, fruit plants, pots, soil, fertilizer which are found here. In search of bergamot citrus, being drinkers of Earl grey tea, we did not find it but many varieties are growing here.
Knowledgeable, helpful and not stingy with their advice.
Best rose selection Ive seen anywhere.
Very peaceful place. quality stuff too
Large selection, and helpful staff!
I would like to see more cactus.
Lots and lots of selections.

Best nursery
Always with seasonal flowers, and trees ready to plant. You can also find garden accessories. All the employees are friendly. Due to the pandemic, they have reduced hours and children and pets are not allowed.A highly recommended place if you are looking to beautify your garden.
Such a nice e experience, the service was great. Thanks for your attention, the man at the entrance who is in a chair, talks to you about the plants and is very helpful. Blessings for this place and its workers.
Complete variety of trees and flowers! And vegetable sprouts.
