Im not local but it was nice to get into Fresno for a family party and have a place to pick up everything needed for a Silog Fest 😊 got fresh pork and chicken tocino from the butcher along with fresh longonisa. There is a restaurant inside the grocery store but I wasnt able to try it out. At the butcher inside they also clean and fry the variety of fish available.Customer service was good 👍 Overall a good experience!

This place is heaven to me. The have a butcher shop for your red meats and a seafood market with whole fish which was glorious. The shrimps had their heads still on (which I eat) and so much oriental foods. I love it here. Its a wonderland of food for me

Nicely organized items, very unique Filipino food stuffs that you cannot find in other markets. The market cater to the Filipino palate with their food court and snacks. Their raw fresh meat and seafood are at higher quality than some other places.

Well organized grocery shop. Things are easy to identify and vegetables are so fresh! The only down side is the smell of this place because they sell raw fish/sea food and cooked meal in the same space. Not the best of places however, prices are fair and the service was good.

Pretty good Filipino food. Lot of variety. Prices seem fair for the portions. Sometimes the line moves way too slow, but worth the wait if you are in no hurry.

Great supermarket for Asian foods

Its a great place to get Filipino foods, fresh meats and fish and seafoods available, several aisles of Filipino mad Asian foods every time we go i grab certain items that i like and a few items i would like to try, its a bit of a drive for us to get there but I think its worth the monthly drive for great foods, there is also a fresh hot prepared Filipino food available for purchase .

Delicious food! No idea what I was doing. Got some noodles, pork, and fish just to try things out. Awesome! My son had gotten some fried bananas which he raved about, but they were out of them when I was there. Be back!

I only come here for the Philhouse authentic Philippine food the chicken skewers are always perfectly bbq but my all time favorite I order all the time the chicken afretata soooo delicious and my kids love their lumpia I highly recommend this restaurant for the best Filipino entrees I also would buy some of their sweet rice dessert trays come in packs of 4 located in their grocery aisle next to the cashiers I love coming here

We ventured to Island Pacific market a few weeks ago looking for another Asian market that had more Thai centric food available. It was clean and organized but smaller than we had anticipated. The cooking at the front of the store being able to buy something ready to eat was really great and that stood out the most to my wife. I do think we will go there again in the future mainly for the cooked meals service.

It was quite nice to be able to get fresh fish and have the folks clean them in front of your face. I was impressed with the wife array of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Normally Island Pacific is one of my favorite places to eat, but this time they kinda disappointed. I dunno if the staff was just tired after a long day or if something was going on, but they were really not as kind as normal and the portions that are normally amazing were really lacking. Mom and I had to go home and make extra rice because we werent given much with our order. They didnt fill up our containers for the combo order like they always have in the past.Im gonna chalk this up to just a bad day because of the multitude of times Ive come here, this is one of the only bad experiences Ive had.

Fully stocked and fairly clean. Fish cleaning was quick. No lines during our visit.

Store is clean and the hot food area has a large selection of everything from Pancit to squid. The Chicken on a stick is very good. I am only giving 3 stars because I was surprised at how small the fresh vegetable selection and spice area was for this market. Prices are reasonable but I would travel further for a larger veggie selection.

Fish was perfect for fish tacos..Very fast service..Im happy with the service there and I will definitely be back.

This place is good to go to specially the seafood, price is reasonable and you can have them clean and fry your fish for free. Plus they have the philhouse filipino food restaurant if you feel like eating authentic filipino food.

I never had Filipino food before but that was real good stuff

The cashier need a little manner she was trying to argue with me. Just because of the plastic bag and claimed she dont speak Tagalog. I recommended to train your associates, we want to keep our value not because the customers is always right, but as a Filipino we have a dignity. Your associates was rude plus unpleasant behavior. Elders customers should respect either they speak English or not.

I love coming to this market because they offer a wide variety of foods. I like the fresh seafood as well as ordering hot foods to go. Although, you cant sit to eat in the dining area, I take my child and sit at a park while enjoying the food.

Seafood market was fair. Lumpia was cold and seems like it was leftover from the day before.

Compared to Las Vegas the restaurant isnt that good.

This place is a seafood-lovers dream come true. If you love to cook, they have a huge variety of foods, both imported and local. The staff is very friendly, and the butchers know what they are doing. Prices on fresh fish are excellent. They also have a huge kitchen restaurant area with tons of yummy-looking foods I have yet to try. 5 stars.

Appreciate but worry this is the only real Filipino grocery market in the 559/Fresno for a few years now. Love that the in-store food line is still and always open daily despite only staying takeout. Dish selection varies some days and hours tho, Im always down for the BBQ, silog, and mixed vegetable recipes. Sarap! The cleanliness of the overall store is questionable near the meat and seafood area but all aisles and produce, goods, frozen, etc selection is organized well. Dont miss the baked goods area adjacent to the restaurant, meats, and checkout lanes. Come for the pinoy-based selection that locals love to get. Ask employees about green leaf vegetable availability (ex: Saluyot, Yam, Malunggay, Chili, Komote), otherwise check AsianOne, GoldenBowl, etc. Keep in mind, this is not Seafood City like the Bay Area and SoCal. If you dont like eating here at Sarap Ng Buhay, you can drive a few miles around to Jowlis, Boba Silog, Ds Pinoy Food downtown, Angry Asian/Crackin Claw if its still around, Zenys in Lemoore, or any other smaller Asian-American based resto to support. Enjoy!

Its a clean little place. The produce is pretty. A place where you can just go in and grab your Filipino staples. They have hot food to go, I got pancit and lumpia, which was mediocre (Im being nice). The pancit was kind of flavorless and the lumpia were fried in a mini crepe of some sort, good but not bom.

We like the variety and availability of many of the items that we cannot find in our hometown of Hanford. We especially like the variety of fish and the friendly employees who cut and cook the fish the way we ask them.

This place is awesome! The store is so clean and very well organized. I know they have cafeteria style food court I was unable to make my way there because i was busy at how wonferful the selection of fresh fish they had. Now the produce is a little limited no big deal. Overall i would say if u are looking for ingredience for some asian cuisen and your in the area this place is it. Customer service is superb always willing to help!
