The worst experience in the world!!! Do not take your boat there..he is very rude disruptive and untruthful of a timeliness for service!!! I do not recommend this place another marine service dealer warned us but we gave this place a chance and wished we never had!!!!

A very low grade business when it comes to selling boats. We purchased a boat from them in Sept. of 2019. We never received our title so after many many phone calls, trips to DMV, reaching out to the previous owners, we finally got a title in August 2020. When we reached out to Clovis Marine in the beginning of this whole drama, they were absolutely no help, didnt want to help and did not return calls. We ended up paying twice for registration and they refused to reimburse us the original fees we paid to them. I would never do business with them nor recommend anyone else do either.

Stay away from this business. The owner is very unprofessional and rude.

Great service and knowledgeable. Took the extra time to go over service manuals and what might needed to be done when we got to the lake. When things didnt go as planned at the lake was available by cell phone to help correct any problems. Will be taking our boat there for years to come.

Unfortunately, my plans to buy a boat from Clovis Marine went straight down the drain after my father told me how badly Dave treated him for parking on the public street. This man had the audacity to come scold my dad, tried to fight him, told him to go back to his country, and prevented my dad from backing up his truck with his trailer by placing his forklift right behind and under his trailer. I cannot imagine the customer service that Clovis Marine provides to its clients and future clients. Most disturbing of all, this is not the first time this man has done this, but also towards my uncle. Minus 5 stars if I could.

First, they were not honest about their schedule when we dropped our boat off. It had been sitting for a while so we wanted to have our boat serviced and looked at. Dave explained they were busy, which was understandable, and said he would call in a week with diagnosis if anything needed to be repaired. After waiting almost 2 weeks with no call we called to see how things were going. Dave was immediately irritated that we called and blew a gasket (no pun intended) about how busy he is. We should have picked up our boat then, but decided to let him at least look at it. After 2 more weeks of patiently waiting Dave called to say our boat needed a list of expensive repairs. The prices he gave seemed inflated so we checked around and our suspicions were confirmed. When we tried to discuss this with him he lost his mind. Needless to say we finally have our boat back, and to our surprise none of the repairs were needed. Hes extremely dishonest and rude! I hate writing a bad review, but in this case it is warranted. If I could give negative stars I would.

I was working with the owner - KEN? DAVE? Whatever his name is - the guy is what is wrong with the world. I would not suggest this guys or his business to anyone. He had me prepay for a part (no big deal). He ordered a part that was not needed. (a part that he said I needed because it did not come together). I never received or took possession on the part. He returned the part to Mercury and he admitted that he received his credit on the part and is refusing to give me my money back. He literally said, I am going to disappear from your life and you will never hear from me again and never get your money.I dont know why anyone would want to do business with someone that steals from customers.

This guy literally would not even give me 2 minutes of his time. All I wanted is to tune up my boat motor and he said Im too busy to pull the parts and said good luck. What a joke

They are a small franchise but they treat their customers with respect and friendliness. The mechanic on duty there is A1! Great doing business with them!

Had trouble fixing water impeller and took it to these guys and they knew right away the problem was housing and repaired it two years ago. Happy with previous work so taking boat back this week for maintenance and seal leak. Thanks for your work guys! Bueno!!

Very rude and arrogant. Made me an appointment three weeks out and then told me it’d be three weeks to get to my engine after I arrived! Told me my engine was not worth tuning up (a Honda 5hp 4 stroke) and and tried to sell me a new one instead.Got my engine tuned up at another shop in Madera and it’s running great.

Great place if want your boat motor fixed or if you need a new one. Mechanic is very good ! Staff friendly and very helpful.

Waranty work on our boat. The owner be a obnoxious racist bigot. We pulled the boat to town. We called the factory. They told us NOT to letting them touch our boat.Factory told us of another shop. Very sweet. When the factory tells you not to do business with these bigots you know it is bad.Dude is a bigot racist hater of the worst kind. I thought we were in Alabama for a minute.

Usually dont leave reviews but this one deserved it. I recently called for a question about my boat motor. And right off the bat the lady who answered the phone was very rude. Said they dont support or work on Chrysler and couldnt speak with their mechanic. These people dont deserve to be in business

These guys are terrible. I brought my newly purchased used boat in on Saturday for maintenance. I wanted to pick it up the following Friday morning, and asked them to call me on Monday if they couldn’t get it done in time and they said they would, because ‘the boss’ would be back on Monday and he makes the schedule. I called Wednesday afternoon and they didn’t know when they would have it done, were NOT apologetic at all and told me to “take my boat elsewhere if that wasn’t good enough”. If they would have called me on Monday and simply said “don’t know if we can get it done by Friday, how does your schedule look to maybe do it a different time, really sorry about the inconvenience” then I would likely be a loyal customer for 10+ years because that is fair for them to do. All I was looking for was proactive and honest communication. Even when I picked it up, I was treated like I had a fungus. No questions as to why, no apology, no “we hope to see you back”. Apparently they could care less about my business, so I intend not to give it to them. The nicest guy there was the one driving the forklift to bring my boat out! Don’t go there, unless you wanted to be treated rudely and make it seem like you are annoying them by trying to give them your business.

Dave Flum who runs this dump is one of the most arrogant control freaks in town. His reputation sucks. His jacked up prices barely scratch the surface. Too many bad comments by previous customers at the lake.If you are a person of color, you are at risk. Flums politics put minorities at risk big time.Other boat shops talk smack about Flum for good reason. They repair his flunkies low skilled repairs.Ex employees are telling the truth about sloppy work, angry customers, talking smack about customers, and jacked up over priced repairs using used parts.Too bad LUND Boats and Honda has him as a dealer. They lose a boat load of sales since no one will do business with Flums except once. Then never again. There are good boat shops on the coast. Clovis Marine are in the Walmart Jiffy Lube category.Even Ed talks smack about Flums. The fools need to get their cheap trailer trash signs off the street mediums before someone calls the City of Fresno. Low class operation--Clovis Marine. Central Valleys worst boat shop.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. dishonest and rude. i didnt get my boat back until i threatened to call cops, owner is a bully and tried to scream and cuss his way into intimidating me. he did refund my money (after he took outdrive off of boat after i told him not to work on it) also told me i needed a $500repair to fix a leak that another shop tested and told me what not leaking. i would not under any circumstances go there again.
