Be prepared to blow the dust off of the kits.The employees are friendly, and willing to help, but unfortunately most of them dont seem to know what they are talking about or know very much about what they are selling.If you know what you want, this is a decent place to search for it in Fresno.

Ive made many purchases from Sparky Electronics over the years. This is the place to go. The woman who works there is very helpful and knowledgeable, and the prices are very reasonable as well. Before you order from some random online vendor give Sparky a chance. Theyll likely have what youre looking for.

Worst electronic store I have ever been to. Older blonde lady is rude and untimely. Door says open Mon-Fri 9:30 am but they rarely arrive at their store before 10 or 11. I also showed up on a Friday and was told that they are closed the entire weekend, including Fridays. We used to love this place but it is NOT what it used to be. I dont know why these people even bought the business if they are never there to run it, and are not friendly or knowledgable.

If someone has inventory in any city let alone Fresno Ca its occassion to relax the ultra high standards people place on retailers. Otherwise theyll go the way of Radio Shack; stock only the stuff that moves in a package containing things you dont need to make enough profit to keep our 401Ks funded. Or just close shop so you can go to the webstores and get your stuff...in 100 piece packs minimums.For a independent electronics supply house they are good. Yes the kits are old but how many people are buying them. Their inventory is based on what sells and they will stock it if you buy it. Experience is so so but what do you expect in an age where everything is disposable. The lady that one person said is not friendly treats everyone as they treat her. She is very competent with a dry sense of humor. Their hours are good and they are open 1/2 day on Saturday. It 5:21PM and Im off to support them because indepents need it. And no I do not work for them nor am I friends with them. I just like to defend local retailers doing a hard enough job without people inflated expectations.

I needed and very specific resistor and they spent 10 minutes finding it for me. The price was 50 cents. Amazing service.
