I needed a radio for my daughters car. They had one in stock. Unfortunately it didn’t work. (It happens, these are used parts!) why I give it a 5 star review is the customer service. I was able to exchange the radio with no issues. Toni is awesome to work with. I highly recommend this business and her in particular.

Update: Money was added back to my account! Thank you to to all! Like I said, the people answering the phones and helping behind the counter are amazing and want to help. Maybe update your return policy or find a new person who process the returns.Original: After looking for a while I finally found what I believed was the correct size rims for my car. I get to the tire place to find out that these are not 16 in rims but 14 or 15 in instead. I called and spoke with an amazing person who gave me a return authorization number. I take them in and they tell me they cant process my return because I paid for them on line and they will be returned that way? OKAY? Other places dont do this and it feels weird to me. But its their policy and I will follow along. WELL 5 days latter and no money has been refunded. This is a $360 transaction! I have called my credit union and they told me they do not hold my money but put it back on the card right away.

I ordered a part online and I went in to pickup . The ladies that confirmed my part and the invoice friendly are detailed. Both of them wanted to be sure I ordered the right part, I guessed they must have had series of returned parts. Thumbs up ladies.

Nope not coming back. There part runner took me and showed me two different doors that was for my minivan. Talked me into buying the wrong one because the correct one was on a upper shelf that he didnt want to get. This of course was my fault I ended up purchasing the wrong door I thought I can make it work but no it wont work and of course theres no refunds. Of course I didnt catch this kids name but he was a skinny little blonde kid probably barely out of high school with a obnoxious personality. On a different note there was a older gentleman maybe slightly younger than me who was very helpful. He actually helped me load up the (wrong) door when that other kid couldnt be found. I would give this gentleman a five star by himself.Update: I did get a hold of the owner and he did take care of me I did get the correct door. I do believe the the staff still needs a little work on customer service so with that said I would give a overall rating of 4 stars.

The biggest joke Ive ever been to called 2 times to verify they had my parts and both times. Drove 2.5 hours to get there to not only get treated like I had no clue because they apparently dont sell front bumpers and they brought me out a front fender that they laid down on the pain and looked worse than the one I was replacing. Would I recommend this place absolutely not the worst staff and the worst customer service Ive ever experienced.

I was referred here from a family member. He stopped in last week to check on tires for me. Was given a price from a woman working there. When I came in to purchase the tires it was totally different price. Got there at 11am, purchased the tires even though I was told a much lower price. Then after I purchased them was told the person who mounts tires was going on lunch break so they wouldn’t be able to start them until 1230. Finally when they pulled my car in the garage the guy tells me I have to wait outside. I sat on the curb for an hour and half until he was done. After all that I thought wow If I had known this I would of brought my lawn chair and tanned. For this type of service I should not have been charged a balance and mount fee!!! I left very unhappy to say the least!!!!

So you then put a 1 star review on the Menards you bought the lumber from. That, is an accurate analogy. It is in fact, YOUR FAULT. You are very obviously not knowledgeable enough to work on your own vehicles, or source your own parts. It isnt Menards fault for selling lumber, its your fault for thinking you are a carpenter, when you arent. Get it?

Amazing place. Ive been to many junk yards and usually the staff are unfriendly. This place is the exact opposite. Everyone who helped me was kind and cheery. They had the exact part I needed (a door for a toyota prius) at a great price and I was in and out in record time. I cant say enough good things about this place. I wish every junk yard was run as professionally as this one is!

Ordered a front bumper for my rav4 I hit a deer with. They were friendly and shipped it to me in Kansas. Great packaging took awhile to deliver due to them being backed up but beyond my expectations for used body panels plus side it came with the crash bar and fog lamps other places charge for these items. Will use again highly recommended!

I had a good experience here purchasing a window regulator for my old chevy. At first I bought the wrong part and they exchanged it with no questions asked and at no extra cost. Staff was friendly.During my time there I saw not one but two customers acting rude and disrespectful. They were very entitled, sure the service can be a bit slow, but it is worth it.

Sounds like nobody is on the same page here. Called 3 times now to see about getting the same engine shipped to Louisiana. The price of this engine has increased since the firat time. First shipping quote was 400, i ended up being unable to purchase at that moment, so this morning i called again for another quote and was told 200, which seemed low, but awesome. When i never received the email, i called again and was told 450 to ship it. Not sure whats wrong with this business, but it sounds very unorganized and unprofessional, since the last guy said i was told 200 because it was a new guy with no concept of money

Customer service here is horrible, I run a business and have purchased multiple parts from them. 95% of the time they say they have the part we go to pick up and sit there for an hour until they come back and say they dont have it. One time is one thing but 8 times the same thing theres a problem with their inventory management. Do better

4 employees standing behind the plexiglass and chatting up / laughing. Not one on phone so no excuse. Five customers standing and waiting to be helped, nope not their job for 10 min. Went elsewhere even though it was a will call part. New store has it set up nicer.Note to employees at old store: CUSTOMERS PAY YOUR WAGEThis has been ongoing at this store for a while now. Looks like management moved to the new store.

Overall it was a positive experience. I really appreciated Lee from the shipping department reaching out to me he is a very good employee and the only reason this is positive for catching the mistake.- Easy and secure payment (if you don’t live in the area)- Nice staff- They send you a picture before hand (I wish they sent you front and back and sides of the item)In my case the taillight had a chip I didn’t see in approval but shipping called me and told me about it (loved that) would have been disappointed if not and probably written a bad review.The only way they could be better is the shipping takes forever lol in 2021 with Amazon people want stuff 2-3 day shipping snd to be shipped out same or next day got to get with the times.

You would think that a place that deals with auto parts would know what works what would inner change from one vehicle to another. Im not happy with this place and I will not be going back.

The employees were very nice. The wait time especially at the Fridley store are ridiculous. There were people waiting for over an hour and the ticket system doesn’t work anymore so people just cross the line. This poor older gentleman was waiting for over 1 hour. I really felt bad for him. Please reinstate the ticket system and hire more help for the counter

I got a call a few days after messaging for my part. When I went to go see it they checked me in and was told to go wait in my car due to virus spacing. An hour later I finally went in to see what was up and I fell between their cracks and quickly had a yard hand fetch the part with me. Price was fair and part was what I needed. I sent a message after asking if an hour was acceptable and never heard back from them. I drove about an hour to get there and doubt if I’ll return unless NOBODY else has my parts.

I used to have proper experiences at ABCO. Recently not so good. Bought an engine 2 months ago for a Chevy that when it was delivered was absolute junk. Last Tuesday called for an engine for a Jeep. I was told it was available and was given my shop cost. Said I would be there at noon to pick up. When I arrived, I checked in and waited outside while the engine was prepped. After 30 minutes I went back in the store to find out the status. I was told everyone went to lunch so it would be ready soon. Back outside I go. 20 minutes later an employee came out to tell me there was an accident at the warehouse and the engine had been destroyed. Okay, no worries. I left disappointed but understood that things happen. So today, Sunday following my visit, I am on car-part.com to locate another engine and low and behold! Listed at ABCO is the engine that was destroyed. The one I could not buy. And it is listed $200 higher than it was before! The footnotes said the purge is broken. So now I can pay more for a broken engine! I am extremely angry and disappointed in a company that I have been doing business with for 22 years for treating me (or anyone for that matter) like this. ABCO, I will never send anyone your way, set foot in your locations or purchase online from you. Ill take my chances elsewhere. I am a shop owner/operator/mechanic.

I called and placed a hold on a hood for my truck gave her all the information for what I was wanting called today to ask if it was ready they said yes so I went down there had to wait for a half hour just for it not to be the hood I put on hold. They didn’t even care that they got it wrong.

This place blows. Terrible customer service and very rude the last few times I was in. Tried to warranty a transmission that only lasted a couple weeks, they said bring it in and well give you another one. Well removed it and brought it in and was told they didnt have any left and that I couldnt get a refund because I didnt have a shop diagnosis on it. Would have been nice to know before removing it. Had to buy another one from another company and am out $500 plus my time for a transmission that didnt even last 3 weeks.

Very poor customer service!!! Called days ahead of time to hold an engine as i live 3 hours away, while they were kind enough to hold the engine, I called the day of I was going down there to make sure it was still availible, and when I arrived and went to pay they stuck me with a $150 core charge for a used engine! Ive NEVER paid a core charge for a used engine ever at any yard! And the 2 times that I called no one ever told me anything about any core charge. I expressed this when I arrived and was basically told too bad we charge it knowing I would have to drive 6 hours round trip to drop this core off when I could have brought it down with me if some one would have Informed me of that. Horrible attitude by the lady at the front counter also! ! Once I get my core charge back will probably never deal with this savage yard again!!! Ive dealt with many yards across the state even the country and never been charged a core charge on a used engine or anything. Only rebuilt item that were rebuildable for the core to be returned!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! beware!However the yard man that loaded my engine was kind and super helpful!

Not sure how they are still open and in business. Called to verify they had the part. Said they did. Went to go get it. Checked in was told to wait in the car. Had to move a few cars. Should be too long. 30 mins later went in to see what was going on. Was told we are next in line. Another 30 mins go buy. Employee comes out and says a little while longer. Ask how long been waiting over an hr. Was told maybe 15 mins. Those 15 mins go by and another employee comes over. This one says. It’s going to be a little longer. Ask how long. He says at least an hr! Have already waiting over an hr. Told him not waiting any longer. Claims it will be pulled and ready to go tomorrow. We will see if that’s the case. And if I even decide to go back. Communication is lacking around there.

Called to confirm condition and availability of Hood and told the man I spoke with that I wanted them to confirm the condition before I drove an hour and a half down there. They placed me on hold and came back and told me it was in very good condition with no dents and no major scratches. Upon my arrival, I had to wait outside in my car for half an hour while they pulled the part from the shelfWhen they finally produced it, there were multiple major scratches and a large gouge down the center of the hood that was so deep it dented the metal. Dont waste your time with this place. I had heard stories of this place but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I very much regret doing that.Edit 7/2 - If its in such good condition why do you post some pictures of it? Also that protective wrap was torn in about 10 different places. and you could see the damage underneath it, the gouge down the center thats so deep its dented in the deal breaker, there was no point in unwrapping it further. I didnt drive up there an hour and a half to buy some beat up piece of junk. Also on the phone call he very much did make it sound like he went and looked at it, as he absolutely should have. I could see the photos posted online myself, the whole purposes of my call was to avoid this very situation. If you listened to the call you heard me warn that I was going to be ticked off if the condition was different upon my arrival. I explicitly stated as long as there are no dents or major scratches that cannot be buffed out Ill be happy. But there are multiple dents, scratches, and the dented in gouge in the center. Also what appeared to be tree sap, dust, and dirt trapped under the film. A protective coating only work if applied to a clean surface otherwise you are just smearing the contaminants into the paint creating more scratches.

Used to be better placethe cheapest used part seller in MN but their customer service is the worst in the country ( old store not the new one)they had good people 2 years ago( sarah and micky) and the old store was very fast service and you can get your part within minutes but after sarah left and micky moved outnow you call and pay for the part then you drive all the way ( because they are 2 weeks behind in paid shipping) to Fridley then you wait at least half hour to get the part if you are lucky because sometimes they have wrong inventory in the system or they have the wrong part inventoriedunlike the new store which is the same company but you will be in and out within 10 minutesi tried to talk to manager several times and they put note in my account but the people work there dont listen and keep ignoring the customer service part

This was gonna be 3 stars, wait was long, waited 5 days for a part, no call. Called someone said my order wasnt correct, I understand things happen. Waited for a call when it was ready no call.(no huge issue, but very annoying). When I picked up the part the worker dropped it. I get it, but are you serious. The part I needed was hard to find. Then you damage it. I got a discount, but that doesnt relieve how annoyed I am. Whoever owns this place put some accountability on your workers.(will not change the review, you need to understand your faults as a company)

Dont stop in unless you have at least 30 minutes. The vibe is terrible. Not sure if the employees are just treated like crud or what? They have the parts so I always come back.. I always pay with online invoice to *try* avoiding waiting. But it doesnt matter. They dont pull the parts from the shelf until you get there even if you pay in advance.. Just kindof what Ive learned to expect from here over the years.

The first time I came they were unable to find the part, I emailed Chris and let him know. They were able to find it so I was able to come back and get it, and he gave me 10 percent off! First time coming here and went to fridley, there was a girl at the counter with glasses who was very rude, giving attitude and and was just unpleasant. She called our number and when we starting asking about a part she continued with her attitude and said it was it the other location. I get that people have bad days or maybe someone made her upset but you work in a customer service industry, you can’t act like that toward customers especially it being our first time there. She should of stepped away and collected herself if she needed to rather then be a completely irritable and rude to every person in there. The way she spoke to us and others was not acceptable. I feel this should be addressed. As for the other workers most were wearing masks under their noses but yet had signs saying customers needed to wear coverings. Just not a good first impression

I bought a complete bumper cadillac xts from them and they ask for 100$ extra for faster shipping !! i did receive it after 15 days damaged from both sides and missing fog lights, i paid 1000$ for it then i had to pay 250$ for fog lights and another 250$ for repair !!!!!! worst transaction ever in my life !!!! dont buy from them !!!

When they sold me a part that is not for my car, I tried to return it THE SAME DAY and I was told I could only get store credit. I argued they sold me the wrong part and now are telling me they do not have the right part, but wont return my $$. Shady, very shady business dealings. Now I have a almost $100 dollar part I cant use. (we bought the correct part from U Pull It for far less money). Scammers! Makes me wonder if they did that intentionally. Called about a rear end, was told it was pulled already. Went to get it and was told it was stuck where they had it stocked at, after sitting 2hrs. Was told to come back next day.
