Every time I have been here the service has been great, everyone has been polite and I received my order promptly. Compared to other locations, the coffee tastes better (I basically order the same thing every time), so its my preferred spot. That said, every time I have gone lately the hours have dwindled a bit more. I dont know how long it will be before this location closes for good, but Im really hoping they can figure out their staffing issues (by, you know, paying their employees more and all that), but who knows?
I used to LOVE this location. They were always friendly, had nice things to say to start your morning with a fast cup of coffee and food. I always tipped well in appreciation. What the heck happened? Last week I spent 25 minutes stuck in line. This morning... no joke... 50 minutes stuck in the drive thru! 50! When I finally made it to the window I observed 5-6 workers. Half were standing around. One on their phone, one drinking a bousted drink, one literally just watching. Why? And no sorry, no explanation, no friendly talk. Not even a smile. I think Ill start going elsewhere.Edit: Customer Service was fantastic. They are actively working on better management at this location. Im hopeful it will be a happy pit stop in the mornings once again. Changing from 1 star to 3.
The drive thru took an hour, a full hour of sitting in my car waiting in the drive thru line for my order that i placed ahead of time on the app. Then when I finally reach the window they try to only give me one of the 4 items i ordered. Took them another 15 min to figure out where my order was THEN I get home and see my sandwiches have plastic in the food. Im done with Caribou forever or at least this location. Horrible.Edit: tried to get a refund and the assistant manager on duty would not honor my request for a refund. Screw this company Im done.
Past few times I’ve been to this place the lobby hasn’t been open… my semi won’t fit in your drivethru!! What’s the point of having a coffee shop if people can’t even come in to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich! This will be the last time I stop here
Came in and ordered my regular drink. The person at the register asked the other staff if they had strawberry syrup. They told her they had it, she then turned to me and told me I couldn’t get the drink because she didn’t know how to ring up the strawberry. Instead of asking for help I had to order a new drink.Update: about 5 minutes after I left I took a sip of my drink and they didn’t give me dark chocolate in the drink. I literally asked for 2 ingredients. I will no longer be going back to this location. I’ll drive the extra 10 minutes to go somewhere else.
Not very well run. Poorly managed. Long wait times. Food and drink doesnt taste as good as what they do at other caribou and other locations. What else is there to say? If youre reading this from management dont both putting in one of your lame and pointless replies apologizing for the experience.
Number 5 in the drive through line and it hasn’t moved in 20 minutes. What’s the point of a drive through if it’s going to take an hour?Looking at past reviews, I’m not the only one with this experience. How is this store still this awful at customer service when people have been telling you the issue for over 2 months? Either understaffed or under managed?
I work near by and my wife and son decided to meet me for lunch but I will never set foot in this place again. Never felt so threatened before! I man approached my wife from the side so I could not hear him or see what he was doing and asked for money, felt more like demand. She said she would buy him food and he said he need the money for ... He was definitely known to the staff because he keep leaning over the counter and talking with them and refilling his drink. He then proceeded to glare at me. It was really more of growling. I didnt know what to do so I just kept looking away and told my son and wife what we should do if he followed us out. Oh, the staff seemed unconcerned. I can assure you I have not been back.
I had about 7 cars in front of me but I still got through the line with in 10 mins. I also order 3 things each drink was made correctly. Usually my order gets messed up. By far my favorite caribou!
Asked for a drink to be blended and was told no. Thought I was the customer giving the money for a good/service. When I got my coffee it was hardly even mixed. Showed the drive thru girl and just got glares and attitude. This is the worst Caribou hands down.
Loved combo if caribou and bagels, ended up getting a donut with my coffee drink.
Waited 30 minutes for my one drink. When I got to the window I forgot to ask for light ice, I got a boust.. its sparkling water, cant imagine its more than 2 ingredients, and they couldnt help me. There was 4 drinks sitting there.. no hustle in this caribou. :/

If youre going here for food, run the other way. They are no longer an einstein/caribou shop. When you walk up to the counter, there are what appear to be fresh bagels behind the cash register. Dont let that fool you into thinking youre getting a fresh sandwich. I ordered 2 bagel sandwiches and they were clearly pre-made and reheated. The bagels are tough and inedible, the egg and bacon are bland and rubbery. Better off with breakfast from ANY other fast food chain.

I am so unimpressed with this location. They no longer allow you to choose what you want on your bagel sandwiches!! It all comes pre packaged and the quality has wayyyy declined since they changed to this. So much for a bagel shop with bagel sandwhiches…. Definitely will be finding a different bagel shop from now on!!
Caribou coffee serves more than one type of coffee also sells more than one type of bean. How come these employees at this facility seem to think they only sell one type of been Amy’s blend dark roast. When is competent customer service coming back. Not a bunch of teenage girls that are more interested in social media Then the job they’re paid to be doing. Go down the road to Dunn Brothers don’t waste your time with poor service and bad coffee.

Services is pretty inconsistent. Some days I get friendly, quick services and other days theyre rude and the food is sloppily made. They also consistently have problems with their drive up and they close so early. Were barely home from school and theyre closed. Despite my complaints, I actually have seen some improvements which has me hopeful. However, they tend to be my last choice for caribou. If I can hit another one on my way home, I do.

We ordered 2 lattes, 2 bagels and a croissant. The lattes and croissant were okay and the bagels were stale. The cashier was annoyed taking our order and with rolling her eyes says we are short staffed!! Who does that!? Zero stars for customer service.

I had the most wonderful drive thru experience this morning. I ordered an iced crafted press, and the whole process was simple and fast. The best part? The staff member at the window who made my day. He greeted me with a big smile and warm greeting. His name was Dre-and if you ever have the pleasure to start your day with him I know it will be great! Keep up the good work!

I went to the drive through and the lady made me feel so rushed based on how she talks throughout the conversation. So when I finally pulled up to the Window to pay, the African-American girl was nice and apologizes on her behalf after I told her that the lady who took the drive thru orders was so rude and made me feel so rushy and to let the person know. And my bagel she sliced sucks. As you can see. Thats not even considered sliced in half. 😲😠

Well, first of all. We spend so much money on good coffee. We come here all the time, like every single day. It has been awesome until today - the lady at the cashier was rude and didn’t apologize for their wrong job. we ordered blended then they gave us “hot” we returned it and the lady didn’t apologize. We asked to make sure that our coffee had extra coffee espresso “which btw we paid for” She just said “I think so” and gave us the drink and look at us as if our money is invaluable. We understand wrong made order happens all the time, but the customer service is ehh.. did not even maid any reasonable effort!
I normally dont do reviews but this is not acceptable. I goes to get my usual turtle mocha and cinnamon sugar bagel with 🍯 almond spread. Not only did they give me a rasin bagel and overly hot water coffee but I went back to get my order corrected and she came back with cinnamon sugar bagel with butter on it lil funky broke hitches. Neva will i got back.
Before I ordered, I asked the lady do you accept Samsung pay, she said yes we do, then I ordered, when i went to window she is telling sorry we don’t accept Samsung pay or Apple pay.

I got an email for my birthday saying I got a free birthday beverage. So my husband and I went thru the drive through and tried ordering a medium vanilla latte and a medium turtle mocha cooler. The girl manning the drive up asked us no fewer than 4 times to repeat the order and she still kept getting it wrong. We gave her our Perks number and went up to the window. She gave us the total, which included both beverages. I asked her about the free birthday drink and she advised me that we dont do that anymore, I think. I even told her about my email, but she just shrugged. We paid the full amount and waited for our drinks. Our mediums came out as larges (we were charged for larges also, apparently), and my husbands vanilla latte came out as a caramel latte. This location cant figure out how to make drinks or properly know their own promos. I guess Ill stick to the small local shop instead of Caribou...
I should preface this with saucing that I never give reviews, good or bad. This is purely a review of service at this coffee and bagels. We have given this location numerous opportunities but we generally send at least 20 minutes in the drive through. Just now we sat for 25 minutes total in line and 10 minutes at the window for two hot drinks. Not only did it take that long but one of our drinks was wrong. And not just a little wrong. It was a latte and it should have been a mocha. This is absolutely ridiculous. Something needs to happen to improve this. We will never be going back here which is a shame as we live only minutes from this location. We already frequently go out of our way to avoid this location and whenever we go back to give it another chance we are reminded why we don’t. We are frequent customers of caribou and enjoy their product but this is not the location to enjoy said product. Ever.
Went there around 5:30 AM this morning. The hour that they were supposed to open was 5 AM. I knocked on the door. One of the ladies there made eye contact with me but refused to open the door. I stood there for another 10 minutes but she still ignored me. Its a lady with a very short hair cut. The other 2 workers were in/out of the kitchen so they didnt see me. I finally had to leave for work. Couldnt keep waiting. This definitely needs Corporate attention. As I was about to head out of the parking lot, I noticed another customer tried to get in as well but the door was still locked so he left. Never coming back here again.
Love the turtle mocha love the workers always polite and kind they work very hard and they should all get a pat on the back they are all hard working Ive seen a lot of demanding customers they want their drinks and they want it right now they dont understand they have to be made a little patience goes a long ways so many people are in such a hurryin the last month this store has turned around 180 degrees from what it was before and I mean in a good way keep up the good work job well done
Very kind staff. Shay was working and is an absolutely wonderful lady who was just a treat helping us. We hope to see her again! Her recommendations and advice for our food/drinks were on point. 11/10, she made the experience change from just another coffee place to a wonderful afternoon.
I used to work for Caribou, so I know the recipe for each drink and the standards of the company. This location has gotten my order wrong every. single. time. Which is about 5 times. I don’t order difficult beverages, but I’ve gotten iced beverages when I asked for it hot, wrong sizes rang up, etc. Today I went in and asked for a decaf hot crafted press, but was informed they can’t make it decaf because the mix is pre-made. I know that’s the case for coolers, but I explained that a crafted press could simply be made with decaf cold press + the added things (cream, salt sugar, and flavor). They didn’t get it. SO I asked what else she could make me that is decaf; I ordered a decaf latte. Was given an ICED latte, and I’m fairly certain it wasn’t decaf because I was jittery afterwards (dangerous mistake to make if customers have health conditions, which thankfully I don’t). I don’t mean to be unkind, but at this point I’m AMUSED because THIS location specifically never fails to mess something up. Nice people but not the sharpest. Just bad luck, I guess.
Great place to stop in for some breakfast. Got stood up here on a breakfast business meeting but still had a great meal. Nice service!
I was very please with my visit today. The guy working the front counter, Dre, was very helpful and genuinely friendly to me. He urged me to use my perks card even though I told hi in the past it hadnt done much for me. I ended up having a free coffee on my account! The other staff seemed very friendly as well. Although Dre was the one who I was in direct contact with. They earned a new customer today.
Went there this morning at 9:25 am. I ordered 3 coolers, a donut and coffee cake. I was given something completely different than a coffee cake. Went back through drive thru. When I stated it was wrong and tried to explain what I was looking for. They claim they did sell the item in question. I stated Ive purchased it here before. I told them I didnt want whatever they gave me. No apology or refund. Wasted money on something I didnt even order. I gave a $9.00 tip only to lose money. Worst experience ever there. The 3 women were rude and argumentative. I will never go back to this location again and neither will my friends or family now!
Very consistently the slowest location I have ever been to. I will frequently take a slightly longer route to work to go to a different Caribou because even with the longer route the overall time is faster. Ive been inside before and witnessed some (not all) of the employees just meandering around taking their sweet time making drinks with a long line. I try my best to avoid this location unless Ive got plenty of time to waste, which is pretty disappointing because its in such a convenient location.
Amazing! What a great job! We had a few business meetings and ordered catering for breakfast. We had pastries, bagels, fruit and coffee all delivered and ready to go. Made that part of the meeting easy to set-up and made me look awesome for picking such delicious food. I received many compliments on the great choice and not one person had a complaint of any kind. Well, maybe that the food was too good and it was hard to pick which flavor to choose. The online ordering was a breeze! This will be our go-to for all future AM meetings.
ATTITUDE & INCOMPETENCE GALORE ! This store has never had good service since the day they opened. I never wrote a review because I always hoped theyd get better. I stop here occasionally because its on my way to work, very convenient. Service has always been hit or miss, but never complete. You may get a friendly cashier, but they get your order wrong. Or like this morning, unfriendly service, got my order wrong, gave ME attitude and told me I ordered it wrong. So that was the last straw for me. Although I love Caribou I will not stand for sloppy or rude customer service. This morning was the worst. There is always a clear lack of leadership at this store and its truly unfortunate. I will not spend one more dime at this location. Dont waste your time stopping here.

One of the worse Caribous Ive been to.I spend more than my share of time in coffee shops - usually studying or doing homework. After ~10 visits, this is my least favorite one. The relatively young staff is frequently distracted by their friends, who are nearly constantly present. They crowd the counters or walk behind to chat. It is typically quite noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation at normal volume. This is also the dirtiest Caribou I’ve ever visited - there is always a scattering of trash on the floor and under the tables.I dont recommend this shop - go somewhere else nearby.
God food but the SLOWEST drive through in the entire world. I’d bet on it. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Be prepared to spend at LEAST 5 minutes in line and that’s on a good day with no one in front of you. If there’s a line you’re looking at 10-20 mins MINIMUM. You think I’m over exaggerating but just try it and you’ll see!
My husband and I stopped here before the Fridley historic home and garden tour! I love Einstein bagels, and love caribou just as much! Bacon egg and cheese on six cheese bagel is where it’s at! My hubs had a Mac and cheese bagel, which was a bold yet appreciated move.
If you want to get in and out, do not come here. I sat for 15 mins in the freaking drive-thru yesterday. There was no place to leave because its in an alley. Inside screws up my order more than anything.
Cory was very polite and friendly, we both tattoo enthusiasts. The breakfast crispy chicken tater tot bagel was too die for. It was so good this is probably my first and last review, usually too busy to rate but the place was warm, friendly, clean and delicious!
This spot had been pretty reliable the last few days while traveling. If youre from the NE and like Dunkin Donuts, honey dew, or sip amd dip, this is a very solid alternative!
Yummy food. I would give 5 stars, but more than half of the time I go there, they dont have any gourmet bagels made. The gourmet bagels are the best! Please, PLEASE just have them ready right away for the early people.

I just went through drive through and my sandwich is a breakfast sandwich and I ordered a lunch sandwich! And I asked for a reg milk chocolate cooler and it looks like I got a specialty cooler! Hopefully I didn’t get the wrong order because that means a lot of orders are gonna be wrong today
So the last three times I have been to Fridley location I have been rushed from my ordering all the way through and nothing is ever right. I tell them my order never repeat it back so I get receipt and everything is wrong.. maybe you all should slow down and start taking correct orders before you start wasting everyone’s time waiting extra on getting eight order. Also don’t wanna do online ordering here cause everything would probably be wrong.
What a great concept! For too long I had to make one stop for my Caribou coffee and another for my breakfast, now I get it all at once! When this place is good, well they are great! From time to time they seem a bit off. Service can sometimes be slow or food comes lukewarm but lately we havent had any issues. We will keep coming back for sure!
The grumpy Somalian girl at cashier ( not the one at the window) with the poor customer service and an “ I don’t care attitude” is costing the shop a lot of customers and money. She is always in a bad mood and has a bad service and should not be working there.There has been many times I ordered coffee and she will give you wrong order or just set it on the table and never say whose coffee is.Today, I asked for a fresh coffee and she said, I will have to wait for 3-5 minutes for a new one and after waiting for 10 minutes, she gave me an old one wormed with spresso.I asked for regular sugar and waited for 7 minutes and after I asked her she said she totally forgot it and the worst is when said, “ we have a lot of “ bellyachers”
Great product but make sure you have the time. Every time I stop here before work, its at least a 15 minute wait if not longer for coffee. Offering full breakfast and coffee with very few employees working is not ideal for a quick stop.
Regular Caribou customer, but not this location. Medium traditional machiatto came out in a largecup and a lot of milk froth the cup was noticeably heavy and more like a latte. I know they are trained to pour the espresso shots into a smaller size cup and add froth. I politely asked to remake and they made comments amongst one another about it. The second remake was still wrong. Id just like others to be aware and the owner/manager so they can train staff. It was on 1/4/20 at 2pm in the afternoon. There were others with service issues this day as well. One lady was standing there before I even ordered waiting for her items and still didnt have it when I left and was visibly upset.
This coffee shop is the reason that I bought my own espresso machine. Even after I bought an espresso machine, I still picked up my beans here, getting them ground through their grinder. Unfortunately, they couldn’t even do this correctly as they were often out of beans and when they did have them, they would grind them too fine or course. Today my husband decided to get his iced americano through caribou instead of at home. Guess what? Their espresso tastes like skunky beer. Gross. Also, good luck getting your coffee in a decent amount of time if there is anyone in front of you. Actually, I retract that. It also takes forever when you’re the ONLY one in line. I have numerous complaints but I’ll just leave the above to give you an idea. I suggest you go to your nearest Starbucks.
Service is incredibly slow. Was given vegan cream cheese on my bagel instead of reduced fat, was rubbery and smelled sour. Staff is incredibly rude, got scoffed at by an employee because I was preventing her from going on break by being there. They need to go on a firing spree, Im seconds away from calling corporate. Wish I could give this place 0 stars.
My coffee was good but I couldn’t order a sandwich because none of the bagels were ready. I feel as an establishment that sells breakfast sandwiches they should be ready when you open for the morning.

Consistently slow and often get the order wrong. I thought when it opened it was just new and they would work the bugs out. What I see consistently is a lot of standing around, no sense of urgency. Someone needs to teach the kids that work there how to move. Done going to this location.
Ive been to this establishment with my son for coffee. They have a good sized variety of coffee drinks. Hot and cold both.
Its usually pretty good. Today, not so much. My coffee was cold, bottom of the barrel and they didnt have any creamer set out. Ill go back but needless to say I just threw my coffee away and money.
This is worst caribou coffee I ever been and I spend a lot of money on caribou.They got punch of girls that just chit chat with each other and dont care for the customer.We sat there good 5 minutes while they all doing nothing but talk to each other.I had this girl named Shanda j taking my order and shes not even paying attention what Im telling her and getting mad at me because shes listening to her co workers rather focusing on what shes doing.And then before she finished my order she literally answered her phone walked away from order.And the sad part is there isnt one responsible person in them they pretty much all the same.
If you want a delicious breakfast sandwich The farmhouse is awesome the other sandwiches are great too the employees are fantastic the manager is so sweet and helpfull
Great management at this location. The employees do a great job and the teamwork between them deserves a reward. It is hard to stand out in a chain restaurant setting but this location handles a drive thru, the shop, and two businesses as one smoothly with all types of customers and makes it look easy. That is talent. The food and drinks are spot on.

The only people in the drive through and it takes FIFTEEN minutes to get 2 bagels?? Holy cow. This pregnant lady is not impressed. They also added avocado to my husbands bagel when he requested it without. To fix their mistake they halfheartedly wiped it off. Nice.
Noticed this location has been closing earlier lately, first they used to be open till 8pm, then it got changed to 6, now ots advertised as 4pm on Google but when you go to the store, they now close at noon.
Great staff, customer service and cleanliness - just wish there was more seating away from the doors.

Came on a Saturday morning, the drive through way fast, the service was good, and the coffee was fresh. The gentleman also did a good job of asking for my perks info prior to my order.
I love caribou, the drinks/food are great. This location the staff is not that friendly and I had to wait quite a while even though there was no line. When I first walked in there was no one behind the counter and took a few minutes for someone to greet me. It turns out there was at least 3 people working but in the 2 hours I was there saw them for maybe 10 mins.
Came here once. Terrible customer service while my order was being taken. And they did not give me a straw for my blended drink so I had to go back. Maybe I should have caught that before I left, but they gave me the wrong bagel at first and did not ask the normal questions for how I want my food/drinks.

This location is worst ever, no customer service what so ever. I ordered a cup of coffee and I skied for sugar, they said they don’t have till Tuesday and this was on Saturday. They have Cub Food store right in front, I asked for honey, they don’t have it.It’s just a disaster.
I went through the drive through and had to wait several minutes just to be greeted, several more minutes to place my order, then the person at the window didnt askfor my caribou card and seemed annoyed when I asked at the window if she/he could add it. Didnt give me ANY napkins when I ordered two sandwiches, and still got at least one of my two drink orders wrong. Im going into the store if there is a next time because I love the bagel sandwiches but the service was terrible. If the same person is at the counter Im just going to walk back out.
First, went through drive thru with only 3 cars in front of me and it took about 20 minutes for me to get my drink. Second, I ordered a large caramel cold press only to find out they dont have large cups. So I ordered a medium size instead and ending up with a small. Ive been to this location 3 times and have had similar poor experiences. Will not be coming back here again even though this location is closer to home. Better off driving to the one in Brooklyn Center for my coffee and bagel.

Terrible service. First time we came here they charged me for a more expensive sandwich then I ordered and refused to refund me the difference. Second time we came here they took 10 minutes before they told us they were out of an ingredient for our sandwiches, and after waiting almost another 10 we finally asked where our drinks were. They completely forgot about them and barely apologized for it. Will go to Bruggers in Blaine from now on for much better service.
Waited 17 minutes for a medium coffee. 4 minutes of that was just waiting to have my order taken. No idea whats happening.1 out of 8 times I have a normal experience and the rest of the time its like Im in the twilight zone.
