The cashier was awesome, the prices are fair value if not less, very reasonable! There were so many records, I added to my 8 track collection.. And BOOTS! Shoes, designer shovels, cool art, this is my new second favorite Thrift Shop, After the one I work at of course. Pack a snack and Set aside at least 2 hours for this trip. .
This store is very clean! Also has very good prices. The staff there are also very helpful. This is my favorite location too go to. Ive never had no issues.
I have been coming here for years! Although alot of my favorite staff have moved on its one of the best places to come for variety on items to the courtesy of staff. Today I met Mike. I met him because a customer began to use profanity against him as there was a misunderstanding. Mike was calm, was professional and knipped it in the bud. The customer ended up leaving. When we approached the counter. Mike apologized for the customers behavior and continued to proceed to check me out with a smile and a chipper attitude. TY Mike for NOT allowing the toxicity of others ruin your day and jeopardize your excellent customers service. You rock!
Meet Mike … if you don’t hang your clothes after you try them on and you are still shopping he will yell at you.I had my son with me today, I tried on a Sweater and after taking it off I put it on the rack since I want to purchase it but still shopping (I didn’t have a cart) Mike SCREAMS from the front if you don’t want it then hang it back . When I was done shopping .. I went up to Mike and told him why were you yelling I been coming here for years and never had an issue here … he told me stop lying infront of my son no you havnt.I had four customers that said they saw and heard what happened and Mike was yelling for no reason. A manager came and she did nothingWhat a lame store to shop at … very unfriendly. I will file a corporate complaint and a Better business bureau
Soo yeah shut off open sign at 8:45 and lock the front door yeah thats cool!! Man those employees must of worked super hard today. Smh trash!!
This is my and my husbands favorite thrift store. Great prices always have unique items and friendly helpful staff.
8/10/21. Close at 9 but turning off the lights at 8:45 to get you to leave. Guess someone wanted to go home.
Its not bad, and worth a stop, but prices on furniture are over the top, and you can find the same quality furniture at other thrift stores for way cheaper!
Love the people who work here, always find something cool (:
I wish they would go through the cd and vinyl cases to make sure theyre in there.
Great selection. However, I bought a large lamp, a couch, and a large shelving unit. They let me come back for the couch and the shelving- I dont drive and walked there - but I had to walk the mile home carrying a large lamp 😂
WARNINGIf you buy furniture make sure you check it really good and take pictures of it before you buy it so when you go pick it up you can have evidence that it was fine before you bought it, so a employee can’t say it was like that or whatever. Eerie feeling in this store just my experiences.
About a year ago my husband stopped here and bought an instapot, that we do use quite a bit. Since I was at Northtown, not too far away I decided to stop by to check out as to what they had. They do carry a lot of items that are refurbished that they get from other stores. I ended up getting a single serve coffee maker and a rice cooker. Since the boxes are taped up they do allow you to open them up to test the products because they have a final sale policy. Rice cooker didnt have a lid or the steamer basket but it still worked fine since I had a lid at home that I could use with it. I ended up going to the manufacturers website and was able to order the replacement parts at reasonable prices. They also have the colored tag sales every week so you need to sign up for the emails as to what colors are on sale that week.
Salvation army store was great. I found several items I couldnt resist buying. The prices were fantastic for me since Im on a budget. Definitely a favorite of mine.
Very GOOD people...i like to treasure hunt...its clean and well organised..the people there are the nicest...
After spending nearly 2 hours in the store and prepared to spend a sizeable amount of money, I was promptly kicked out of the store with my girlfriend after picking up a shoe to check the size. Despite seeing my interest in the shoes, the employee ignored me and continued to gossip loudly with another employee about how returning items to their proper location was too much work and that she shouldnt have to pickup after the customers. When I remarked that no one was helping me she replied by saying I should have rang the bell and then accused my girlfriend and I of filling suitcases and stealing. She then followed us out of the store and further antagonized us in the parking lot. Ive never been treated so rudely and found this experience so utterly repulsive and offensive that Ill never shop or donate to the Salvation Army again.
Good stuff.
Lots of stuff, staff is kind of rude.
We came in on July 6th 2020, we started shopping and by the time we had a full cart a voice on the intercom said “Our registers are down, you can continue shopping or whatever but we can’t check you out.” Okay understood since when we came in they said no cards just cash, so we took the time to visit a nearby ATM to grab cash (as they said cash would be ok when we started shopping). As we approach the register to get more information on what was happening, we were met with an extremely snappy “I don’t know how you think you’re gonna buy that our registers are down. I can’t help you.” As this is happening more customers are coming in the store to shop and are not being told the computers are down. There is a professional way to handle your computers going down and this was absolutely not it. We left feeling like we owed them an apology for trying to shop at their store. Please be more clear next time. Also, If your computers are down and you cannot sell anything, maybe have someone at the front door letting others customers know. Poor experience. If they would have communicated what was going on gracefully I wouldn’t have had a problem with the situation.
One of the better Salvation Army Stores. Clean and the merchandise is decent.
I want to Congratulate the Salvation Army Store in Fridley, Minnesota.First: it is managed by Mrs. Corey Holiday. Every day is a holiday to shop big at Salvation Army Store. The place is impeccably clean, including not only the dust free floors but the bathrooms. Merchandise is organized. Employees are a unified team that gets ignited by Corey’s charming & electrifying, endless dynamo energy which is contagious. Her associates feel highly motivated and enthusiastic. This girl is a genius. She’s got the drive to be a a regional Supervisor. I’d say that there is a Corey working in each person at the store. That to me is leadership at it’s best. Highest moral standards, deep spirituality and a feeling you are a family member makes you return to the store. Add that they do not overprice anything. One can shop with overconfidence and find incredible buys to bring home. Friend ask me, “where did you find this?”“At Salvation Army Store in Friedly everyday is a holiday with Corey Holiday to shop and get back home happy!Richard Morales545 Wabasha St. Apt. 610St. Paul, Ann55102
Interesting store, much to explore and great staff
Extremely friendly staff. Helpful, safe environment and above all awesome selection and unbeatable deals.
Huge selection! Very friendly staff!
It was just fine 🙂
Nice boots for winter in low prices.
Some things I’ve bought have been great especially the clothes, now when it comes to the boxed items I’ve not been pleased all the time due to missing parts screws etc... and if they could consider going down on their prices that would be nice also. If not going down how bout the color tag sale at least let there be more
Items are over priced for a thrift store. Ive actually found items for cheaper at a regular store than this one. And there is no return at all, if you buy something for $50 and it breaks in two days, too bad, youre stuck. There are absolutely no returns at all. That kind of risk would be okay if you were saving 80-90% off retail, but here youre barely saving 15-30% off what youll pay for it online in brand new condition with warranty and return privilege. I do like the fact that the purchase supports local community and people in need, but their pricing is just not conducive for that model to be sustainable. Their items would move better if they were priced more aggressively. This store is for people who have no bargain hunting skills, they assume that since it is a thrift store theyre getting a good deal. Not the case here, you can pay almost as much and get a brand new item from a reputable store such as Macys or Amazon backed by good customer service, in case something goes wrong.
I went after six when hardly anyone was there so checking out was fast
The prices are higher when most of the stuff is donated! It not far when you go in and they set the atmosphere as a place of love peace and God! Most of the woman staff are rude when you ask them a question! Very quick to give you any answer so you can just stop talking!
Always something interesting here. The staff are nice and since they remodeled the store is much nicer and cleaner. Love finding great deals on things I would buy anyway.
I was leaving after checking out and the cashier came around and asked me to open my backpack purse as I have twins so I need 2 hands. I gladly opened it and they found nothing. My husband got upset and defended me. The other cashier got involved and started yelling at my husband and proceeded to tell the customer she was helping the whole situation which is completely unprofessional to tell another customers business. Then the cashier started continuing to have a bad attitude and yelled at my husband while I asked to speak to a manager. Which they never called when I asked to speak with the manager. I had to find another worker.when the manager came the other cashier continued yelling then talked to yet another customer about the situation. Which again is breaching my confidentiality rights as a human being. I told the cashier on the way out that she should be nicer as she is working in a Christian store, they obviously play gospel music and she literally yelled in a loud rude tone have a nice day, obviously not meaning it. I dont feel these two cashiers will be reprimanded. Ive worked for this store before and used to shop there frequently but they lost a regular because of this situation. I will not go back I was accused of stealing and I would never steal nor have I ever. I am highly offended.
Lots of good stuff.
Prices are awesome and the people are very friendly and helpful. Store was very clean and organized.
I must say I dont understand the good reviews of this place. The prices were horrendous. $20 for a used Nerf gun? $18 dollars for a new sleeping bag with a broken zipper? There also seemed to be a lot of new product (like returns to retail stores that they then couldnt sell) that cost just as much as brand new. I was so excited to discover this place (I knew it previously as Brand Name Deals) and Ive never been so disappointed by a thrift store. Im giving 2 stars because I managed to find a gem or two and one of the employees was really nice.
So.... The prices here are are a little more than one would expect. It appears that they get store returns from big box stores. Im not 100%sure though. Prices are cheaper than the store, but not quite thrift store prices. Its a pretty big store. Every day has a different color price tag that has a discount. Check the item before you purchase, to make sure It works.Great parking lot, lots of available parking.
Nice people. Have to drive over curbs and through mud to back into dock. Terrible set up.
Good items most of the time.
Prices were reasonable and I like that they have weekly and monthly colored tags that are on sale. I did purchase an item I wasnt able to examine closely in store and later found it was very deteriorated. There is a sign that states all items are sold as is, so make sure to do a thorough examination!
Very nice
Staff are rude and don’t know when to stop talking, the cashier GUY is a weirdo makes me feel uncomfortable in the store DONT HARASS YOUR CUSTOMERS!!0 Stars
So I have been coming here for a couple years now. This is a hidden gem. I have made some incredible finds here. So far the best Salvation Army I have ever shopped at.
One of the better kept Salvation Army Stores I have experienced. Watch the color tag sales. They have deals on kids clothes and toys every Tuesday at this time as well. Test/inspect any items before buying, especially the ones that plug in.
Really nice furniture, large clothing section, and plenty of oddities to dig through. Also has entire aisle of new kitchen appliances like crock pots / pressure cookers / etc. If you need kitchen stuff cheap, this is your place!
This used to be very clean.it has lost a little.the bathroom was gross.but still found some treasures.
The staff are friendly, the store is organized, the prices are more than reasonable and there are always a variety of gently used high end products at this location.
Hit or Miss on in stock items. There were pretty much no toys. Bedding selection was good, but wrapped comforters were priced as if new.
The store was remodeled it looks great. Seems to be less merchandise then before but Im sure it is do to low donation
It is one of the best you can get new and used at good price.
Theyve got a lot of good stuff there. Its a pretty good sized store.
Different stuff all the time some prices some more then in chain stores with no defects good selection of items
Decent place the prices are good. There is not much customer service and its a bit dirty. Overall its ok.
I love salvation army you can find any thing either you need or want.
All clothing was 50% off and everything else was 25% off. It was great.
The selection was good; I just only visit the SA as a last resort because of their shady charity donation practices.
Very clean, nice people...
Got a very bad experience. I received damaged product also they are not returned or refund.
I read reviews on here with other people saying this store is overpriced for a thrift store. I decided to still check it out because all of the salvation armys Ive been to are great . But they were right way too over priced they had a USED old Kerig coffee machine for $80!
Great selection on name brand, gently used clothes. The staff was curtious.
Its very cool people and places to shop thar I bin shopping thar for the past 4y
I was turned away as my truck bad way full..Not happy.
The employees at this store are awesome. They really need more donations.
Hardworking staff great pricing~
Showed up to drop off and waited for the the donation center to open for 10 minutes. No one ever came. Ended up donating somewhere else though we wouldve preferred to donate here, which is why we made the out of our way trip with two small kiddos.
I think prices are too high for used clothing, etc. The quality is low as if they dont discard some things that should be discarded.
Good thrift store .. :) decent prices and selection!
Well organized with good furnishings located at the front, quality second hand sofas
Always have cool stuff to buy and good deals.
Kind of expensive compared to the one in Mpls
Really great deals on virtually all your needs!
Prices are outrageous now you can get stuff cheaper at Walmart especially getting it for free
Think twice before buying something.becauseThere is no return.. they dont tell you until you go back for return.no return please . absolutely no return item is accepted
Used clothing and household products;some valuables locked behind the counter;a large variety of used products in general donated by peopleresell for a really low price,..All the products sold here are used.
Love shopping there, have gotten new items for cheap
Stock was down, checkout line was long.
Great place to shop for discounted items.
Great store all for the Best cause.

Nice shopping center with affordable price
Great store with helpful people.
Always find something good!
Love this place.
Kinda spendy.
Donation center, thrift store.
They are asking almost retail prices for often damaged items.
Cheap clothes. Cheap household goods.
OK...could be better organized
Not many good jeans and poor shape
