A star off because the parking lot has so much scattered trash. More of a mark on the customers? Anyways - found what I needed in an unfamiliar store and very helpful staff. The woman working at checkout #2 at 10:15 am 6/29/21 was very welcoming and friendly. She even wished me well just as I finished loading my groceries.
$13 per pound cold lasagna mostly noodles. The deli prices are outrageous you can go to a good restaurant cheaper. Cub is over priced on average but look at price per pound and see what your really paying
Great employees easy to talk to and very helpful and Ive always found everything that I needed there.
Good selection and prices, but double check the dates on the food you buy. They constantly have food on the shelves that is months past its expiration date.
Aside from the store being smaller than other Cub Foods, A new EMPLOYEE named Sandy is very ignorant, and very arrogant without any reason from what I could see. The store was closing at 11pm Id just purchased items and needed to grab my Amazon package from the lockers IN THE HALL not inside the store, and she refused saying the store was closed at 10:41pm. Luckily another guy came who had some decency and common sense and he walked me through the door to the lockers and I got my package in less than 1minute. Sandy is HORRIBLE and needs cultural training. I have seen her profile people on more than one occasion and the next time she tries it shell be famous for the wrong thing, and so will this store she seems like a liability.
THE PRICES HERE ARE TYPICALLY HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER CUB! Every cub except this one has numbers for placement in line for the Deli. One of the employees was rude and help 2 other costumers that came after me. I explain this to the manager on multiple occasions over the years and still nothing has been done.
This seems like a smaller Cub Foods Store. But dont let that discourage you from utilizing the store. It was very clean and very well stocked. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Staff wore the appropriate Covid PPE and used it properly. There are clear markings on the floor at checkout to assist with maintaining a safe distance from other customers. There was also someone cleaning carts as they were being brought back in. A good experience at Cub Foods today.
Watch out for nuts products. They say raw organic but they not organic and not row. I had few time happening same situation. I have shop organic products from EASTSIDE FOOD CO OP and they are truly organic. I can tell with taste and with smell of that products. This cub not following the right standards. Hope they fix it with integrity. Hope some one take there products go to lab test to see them organic or not.
The only time I have been in the store is for the TCF bank, and this bank was taken out
Neat, clean, open 24/7, and professional. My only complaint is they change where impossible meat and beyond beef is stocked every 2 weeks.
I can belive that I came to the bakery at 7:05 am and they dont have baguettes made yet!!!! Why have a bakery when you dont have what people need???? This place is not very nice, employees are rude, I may not comeback to this place, very disappointed 😞
Place is well maintained clean and organized staff if usually very helpful and eager to answer any questions you may have. Conviniently located as well.
Went to pick up a cake last minute. They had an amazing selection of cakes. Between whipped icing and buttercream, chocolate, vanilla or marble and then the different sizes. I was impressed. They seemed to have good sales too.
Ok, I was shopping for some specifics, dill, parsley, red pepper. And by no means was I getting the greatest prices ever, which is normal for Cub but it is convenient. Near my house on route, near a highway exit. And suddenly I came across some cherries for sale. There were red cherries and Mount Ranier cherries, sign said California cherries 3.99 a pound. I grab a small bag and even weighed it to see if it was close to 1 lb since my wife is not a cherries fan. I like all cherries but Mount Rainier cherries are kind of a treat, because theyre usually too expensive for me to buy. 399 a pound isnt bad so I grab the bag and head up. Along the way I find a deal on ice cream and cereal. At the check out were going through everything. The cherries come up last and they rang up at 5.99 a pound. I clarify that the sign said 3.99 a pound. And this is where things get insulting, instead of just adjusting the price and getting me on my way she puts this entire line on hold with two people already waiting and she calls for a supervisor a supervisor who doesnt come for 3 minutes meanwhile I start packing my stuff. But shes making me be the reason that everybody else has to wait. She should just trust me. Not treat me like a liar. I tell her to take the cherries off the ticket. Then the supervisor shows up, I think hey I can probably get them for 399 a pound now. Not a chance shes got to go run off and check. So I dont get the cherries I get irritated the people in line get to wait 5 minutes for the whole stupidity to play out, and Cub Foods makes it my fault because Cub Foods doesnt trust me and even the supervisor wont make a judgement call that makes sense in the form of customer service and respect for everybody in lines time. Well Im so irritated I grabbed my bag and my receipt and March right back into produce, where I find the supervisor wandering around with my bag of cherries she hasnt even found the end cap display yet. I point it out to her, quite irritated one sign clearly saying cherries 399 a pound two kinds of cherries choose from. Her response is oh, I guess I can give them to you for 3.99 a pound then. I tell her that after wasting everybodys time she should give me the cherries entirely but I wouldnt take them because Im too irritated and I storm out of the store. Well I forgot the cereal, and being so irritated I went back to get it, and I went back to see if they change the sign, and heres a handwritten sign saying Rainier cherries are 599 a pound. I cant help but wonder how many people got tricked into paying 599 a pound when they thought they were paying 399 a pound for cherries. I wonder how many others, like me caught it, and were shamed, by a cashier who made them wait for a supervisor, who made them wait while they went and double checked. making them responsible for making everybody else in line wait another 3 to 5 minutes. On a grand scale Cub corporate I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of dollars of profit are made this way. I think this is one of those accidentally-on-purpose things where they treat us like sheep idiots, because it makes them hundreds of thousands of dollars and they can claim it to be an honest mistake when caught and no one ever holds them to it because its one or two dollars here or there across everybodys receipts. Thousands of people a store, hundreds of stores everyday. Probably adds Millions to their profits every year, but its Petty fraud, its deceptive, it insults their customer, misleading us and unless were absolutely on top of it stealing a couple dollars from each of us, its the opposite of customer service. Its a 19th and 20th Century exploitative method of making a quick buck. Its un-American. Or more honestly too American, which is why it and the companies that employ such strategies should quickly become a thing of the past.
12/10 never had a problem. Good selection, great ready meals, and friendly staff. I buy from from here often, and have never had any problems except for a long line around busy times. Love the 24 hour and convenience.
Fast and friendly. Staff has become quite lax on cleaning between customers but still enjoy shopping here
Not as nice as the Silver Lake Rd Cub. The stock always seems less, the store messier and clientele is shadier. On the flip side you can get in and out faster since its not like a visit to see aunt Mary at the senior home like trip to the Silver Lake Store. They have almost 30 handicapped parking spots so you can see who the target market is.
This place is the worst. They never have their shelves stocked. When the have deals whatever is on sale they dont have. They remodeled to make it smaller. Save a trip. We need a hivee to take its place. Other cub locations are not bad, just this one. Any good review is probably a corporate employee.
Always easy and simple when I go here. They could use some better flooring and the parking lot has some sus people sometimes.
I love the quality of the food 🍲 better. Really clean store. 🍗🥘🍖☕🥙🍜🍛🍣
They...were out...OF MILK! As in, NONE. Zip. Nada. Zero cartons of any size, %, or brand. I asked cashier what that was all about. “I’ve worked here for two months and they seem to run out of a lot of random things a lot.” Not a lot of variety in general. Stopped there out of convenience, but won’t do that again! Dang!
Stopped in Saturday at 5 PM, greeted by most rudest person yelling at me front door. Telling me we are closed!!! All I needed was to pick up Amazon packages. Never was treated so badly by anyone when I was just picking up a package. I was not dressed like a robber. People can loose it so easy. I dont appreciate being treated like dirt. No reason to talk to me like that, I will not ever shop at that store again.
This is been my Cub for almost two decades now and Ive seen numerous Renovations the staff is always really helpful I realized I broke one of my milks at the checkout line and someone fetched me a new one really quickly. Theyre always great about asking if you have your Cub card and the prices are significantly Less on the sale items than shopping at the Target nearby. And the manager sale meats is quite a score!
Clean organized store. Great place to pick up lunch from the deli
Small cub that is not very well staffed. They are having a difficult time keeping stock on the shelves and are consistently out of stuff. Check out lines are also slow.
Good Cub... I actually miss living close enough for this to be my regular Cub! Stopped today, friendly staff, good cleaning precautions (from what I saw), easy parking.
I love this Cub. They do a nice job organizing and promoting things. The promotional items are always well marked and nicely displayed. Also clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly. Theyve gotten to know me over the years and that makes me feel special that they want to. Thanks!!
Prices are 3 time higher than any other place, I avoid this place as much as I can, although I have to say their fry chicken chicken is absolutely delicious 🍗🍗👍
My fav place to do groceries. I get my turkey dumplings supply here. The wontan wraps, Red onion, raw garlic, ground Turkey or chicken, cheesy sausages and swissa cheese is my best. Their bakery is also filled with verities and lots of options to chose from. I recommend this place to any one for some good quality food.
I enjoyed the time at this supermarket, you find everything you need
I love cub foods
I found this to be a larger store and is nice and bright inside.
Generally dont shop at Cub... The selection is smaller and prices higher - With that said, this cub location has gained me as a regular shopper after today. The night manager Ben spent a good 15 mins on the phone with me before I came to shop - Discussing the best way for me to get supplies considering Im immune c system comprised. BEN- YOURE AWESOME! With all the crazy in the works right now, Im so thankful friendliness such as yours still exists.
Nice fast service for whatever you need.
Nice layout, friendly service. Please ask customers to wear masks over mouth and nose.
There is always stock of whatever I need, always clean carts ready, and the store is clean. They just rearranged, so my weekly trip took longer than usual, but Im sure Ill get used to the new layout quickly.
I shop here at least once a week. The workers are very helpful and friendly. Its very convenient and easy to locate the things I need. They have great deals every week.
I like this cub cuz its a smaller one n I know where everything is located because it is right by my house but they dont have the best meat selection like the cub up by northtown does or Hyvee does but its convenient for me !
No one is wearing masks here. A couple of customers were, but no employees had masks on or gloves. I was shopping about 8 pm on Sat. eve. Will not shop here till virus issues improve.
An excellent store compared to most. I enjoy shopping at this location. Friendly staff members and excellent customer service
The cashiers & management always greet me with a smile.
Good place to shop, awful place to work
This is my new favorite grocery store, mostly because they have low sodium tortilla shells, but Im finding everything else I like as well.
Not as good as it used to be. Many products not on shelves. This was before covid, the pandemic has made it worse.
Nice and clean. With friendly workers
This store is average. It doesnt have a butcher. So their meat gets shipped from other stores. I feel like its not as fresh. And you have to check explain dates on their dairy products. They are always out of my cats brand of cat food. You would think they would order more consistently, 4 years - same story. I prefer going to the Blaine Cubs. Both of theirs are awesome.
The Fridley Cub has less of a selection than other Cub foods in the area and their meat prices seem to be higher and there is less of a selection. Also their set up and locations of items seem to be a bit off from other grocery stores.
This store has been renovated and actually is smaller than it was. Im rather disappointed in the limited ethnic food availability. The deli is smaller, but has good variety and the server who assisted me was very pleasant. The overall store has the basic stock youd expect. They do have some good sales, but I do think they are higher priced due to lack of competition. They have a decent pharmacy and over the counter medicine area. I can say that their generic brands for lactose pills and some other items are reasonably priced and just as good as the name brand. I have found that they sometimes do have a better price on mucinex if they have the promotional packages. Its fine, but I do prefer the larger one that I used to go to in Apple Valley, when I lived there.
Prices are a little higher than WalMart but much less hectic and I would prefer to shop here
Friend of mine was out taking nature pictures and was dressed heavily. He stopped to do some quick grocery shopping before going home. He was followed by store employees for no apparent reason. He was just shopping. He left and wont come back ever.
Clean And Pleasant Workers From The Start To Finish!
Nice and clean inside and fully stocked
Same friendly faces! They cleaned the cobwebs out of the entryway!!!
Best place to shop in the Fridley area. Always fresh, EVERYTHING!❤️ Very clean and neat store. Associates, so helpful😍😍 fresh produce, fresh bakery products too!! 😁❤️ Meat department on point, as well as the pharmacy! The deli just keeps your mouth watering!😍 Ive been shopping here since 2008 and I go every chance I get. Great management team in Fridley Cubs!! Thats a great place to shop. I just love it! ❤️❤️😍😍
Cub foods is a great place to buy all your stuff. everyone should know that
I love that this Cub is so close to my home HOWEVER yesterday was the 3rd time that I bought meat and it was molded. After speaking with someone from Guest Services who gave me a Well that happens answer turned me completely off. After I return the meat today I will speak with a manager in person. I will still go to this Cub for some things but I will leave my meat shopping for Target or HyVee.
Doing a good job for safety to help with Covid control.
A lot of out of stocks, bakery was empty and what was there was expired the next day
They give money back for buy, it great
Needs a salad bar
I like all cub foods. I prefer them for buying food over all other places.
I live a block over, and I go here for my grocery needs. I like the self check out lanes, a big big help! What I would like to see change, is the carts. These carts are old and loud. Please catch up. Try targets kind.
I like it cuz its small n know where things r located but they dont have a great meat selection
Way way way overpriced
Clean store with good customer service
Worse Cub Foods ever, no fresh juice bar like the better ones in Minneapolis. almost have to send a search party out to find unsweetened ice tea. No unsweetened tea refrigerated. With half the country bordering on being diabetic unsweetened and organic should be the easy find and premiere location. no Jamaica style real brewed ginger beer, for making moscow mules, the other Cub foods have it. ask for $50.00 cash back from cashier and requested two $10.00 bills back. she hands me two tens and was finished with transaction and hoping that i forgot that requested 50.00 cash back gives me a rude look. normally standard procedure on that amount cash back, they ask you how you would like your cash. NO laundry baskets with a laundromat across street, no plastic bags only paper, fresh produce looks sad, but plenty of products loaded with sugar. THIS STORE DEFINITELY NOT INTO HEALTH LIKE THE OTHER STORES IN MAPLE GROVE and other LOCATIONS. GUESS MAYBE THE AREA WHO CARES
Large grocery store, easy to navigate. Great specials - get a Cub card and spare yourself the aggravation of tearing out those coupons (such a waste of paper, they really should do away with them). Prices are generally what one would expect to pay. Store is clean, well-stocked. The self checkout is easy to use and a time saver. Plenty of parking. Only real complaint: the staff could be a lot friendlier and attentive... Especially at the front service desk!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Giving it a 5 star just because it always have what I’m looking for.
Well stocked, staff helpful and polite!
Clean, not too busy outside or inside the store. Great products fresh, produce, meat is okay. Friendly knowledgeable Pharmacy staff, low prices throughout the store.
They have pretty much any foods you may need. Great store! :)
Love CUB!
Cub Foods in Fridley has down sized in space but either way, you can still find everything you need.
Seems to be hard working, loyal staff. Nicely set-up. Huge wall of windows makes checkout area bright and open.
Easy to find what you need. Good prices.
Got everything you need for food gatherings and groceries
Check your receipts you are not getting the sale price unless you follow their specific rules you first have to download their app and coupons then swipe your card in order to get the sale price it is a lot of extra work to do this if you do not download the app before you go in the store you have to go outside because your cell phone will not download inside the store
We found a few items on sale for a good price our prlduce was fresh and good variety
My first choice if I am living in MN or any upper midwest place..amazing quality stuff
Perfect place for my grocery store items for work and familys.
Itd a nice place with helpful people but since they are a small store they always are out if products you need and dont carry things you want or even tgat they carried last month. It gets very frustrating
Clean and well stocked.
The bakery and deli are really good. Try ine of their chicken pot pies.
Being new to the area and I am so happy when you can get exelant deli and great ideas for shrimp cocktail beer and the price is high but you are getting top quality products # exel8
CUBS IS BY FAR😅 THE BEST GROCERY STORE TO PURCHASE YOUR FOOD
Wish there was a better selection here but I guess thats what you get when its attached at the end of a strip mall... limited space means limited stock. Same problem with the roseville location.
I stopped at the deli to grab some fried chicken and the lady behind the counter caughed and sneezed into her gloves, then blew her nose without changing her gloves, and then proceeded to try and serve me with her nasty gloves on. Nope.
I have been shopping at this Cub store for many years.I am very satisfied with the top notch service shown tome while shopping. Price, selection and friendly storepersonnel to assist you when needed. I would highlyrecommend this store to customers in the Fridley area.
The staff here is so rude . I’ve had 4 bad experiences that I can count in the past month. Deli was rude to my mom for asking a simple question. I was treated poorly at the service desk and register for asking to load a green dot card . They claim they don’t knowHow and didn’t even try when my boyfriend has beenThere countless times do it . Just a bad experience over all.
I bought 8 pieces fried chicken late on I found is very dry and probably from day before just heated and put on the sale again.please beware its old woman on the duty. Today date is 04 09 2018
Got to love my cub
Open, clean and refreshing. That describes Cub. As notable however, the attendants are most helpful and considerate. Thanks guys.
Fridley Cub Food has the worst customer service. It’s so sad it has to be my neighborhood grocery store. I literally live 2 minutes away. My one year old son is sick and been diarrhea all day. He threw up around 11:00 pm and was really dehydrated. All store around me has closed..This was the closest 24 hour store open. I walked in there and the baby aisle was blocked for waxing. I ask if I can quickly grab a bottle of pedi lite which was 1 feet away from the blocking with barely any wax on the floor. The lady name Rose who worked the graveyard shift said no you can’t go there and there’s no way we can help you get the item you need. Then she grab her manager who came and said we can’t help with you we have people fall every single night when waxing. I did not get any help nor they offered to see if there was any in the back stockroom until I told him and her that they are both rude poor customer service and I will make sure someone above them hears about this..This store needs to hire more friendly staff who’s willing to help customer have a more convenient shopping experience
6-7 is senior hr,I was about the only senior in the place full of younger people.Mask are to be used now no one had a mask on, SENIORS stay away not looking out for your safety.I been shopping here for 40 yrs.never again.
Great Grocery store. Was able to get in and out with all my guacamole ingredients in a few minutes!
Lots of sale items already sold out, ugh
