Went on a weekend evening to pick up our dinner to go, as usual. It was pretty busy on both sides (dine in area & meat market/to go area), but the market area thinned out pretty fast so I wasnt waiting long. The cashier seemed very focused and organized, albeit not very friendly, but I figured that was due to the busy crowd when I walked in. Didnt pick up any steaks this time, but they did look amazing. I highly recommend this place, maybe on an evening with less crowding.
Very friendly and accommodating, waiter was very attentive in making sure we had all we needed at any time. The food was great we ordered the steak for two and was delicious and plentiful! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they only served wine and beer no other alcoholic drinks but as far as food and service Definitely Recommend!!! A must go to place!
Perrys is the best there is for steaks and chops in the area. Their butcher shop serves only top Angus beef and they have many many sides and specialty items. I reccomend the pork chop. Its 2 pork chops with a small roast and the eyelash. They cut it up fresh off the grill at your table right before your eyes. You wont be disappointed.
I love Perry and Sons! Same great food quality as the fancy Perrys without having to dress up! Ha! Seven of us ate at the Market for the same price it usually costs four of us at Perrys, too. The steaks and the pork chop are exactly what you expect...amazing. What you wont expect are the sandwiches and the chicken fried steak. If you like chicken fried steak, you must try it at Perry and Sons!
Sam our waitress was super friendly and attentive, atmosphere was cozy with the meat side of the restaurant with meat available for purchase. Wine was excellent, white Moscato, salad with home made buttermilk recommended was delicious and the bread was a warm dense but not overly dense bread with whipped butter that melted right in. As far as the steaks, they were both cooked perfectly but im more of a salt and pepper person. These have a buttery herb seasoning that while tasted good wasnt really what I prefer on a steak but thats just a personal choice. Overall a great experience and I heard great things about the pork chops and ribs.
The smoked pork chop is incredibly delicious and it is huge. Perrys is famous for it for a reason. Dont overlook their butcher shop located next door. Great cuts on all your favorites, priced competitively.
Went for lunch on Monday October 25th. Worst experience ever. Three tables were finishing their dessert and we had yet to get our main after an hour. Two of these tables were seated after ours. Asked waitress what was going on, she said I have no idea asked to cash out our tab for two drinks and a starter. After 10 more minutes the manager Chris came out with food. Asked him what the issue was and he said the ticket had sat for 25 minutes and he did not know why. Told him we were leaving and he said well i am comping the meal so u can get it to go. Told him to keep it as by now i was done. Will not use, or recommend the Friendswood location again. Also the starter plates sat for thirty minutes before the waitress picked them up. That was when i asked about the main course. Place is poorly run with clueless manager and useless waitress.
Fantastic!! Perfect special occasion dinner for adults. It was quiet, well lighted and perfectly cooked steaks! My sons wife was out if town and he took me there. Lovely evening!
The steaks at Perry’s are delicious, but Pork Chop Wednesdays are the best! Not only do you get a tasty meal, but you don’t break the bank either. 2 for $28 when one can easily feed two people. It’s a steal. Almost ate half and took the rest home for dinner! They are cooked perfectly and come topped with garlic butter😍 The service at this location is great. We have been multiple times and have had only great experiences. Seated quickly during busy hours and once seated, we were served by wonderful waitresses that made sure we were always satisfied.
Went on pork chop day (Wednesday) when pork chop is the special. Huge chop (about 3 inches thick) which I requested to slice it half horizontally and shared with my sister. It was a lot and the way it is done, it melted in your mouth n fell away from the bone. Tasted like bbq ribs on a pork chop. The bread was warm, fluffy n delicious. Sides of grilled vegetables were tasty and the onion rings were super crispy. Not expensive considering the quality and amount of food.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the bone-in filet was outstanding! The service was just as exceptional as the meal. Our server, Jay, was very attentive and helpful selecting the meal and wine pairing. I can’t wait to visit again soon.

Had the Butchers Choice burger today and holy moly it was such a juicy, tasty as hell burger. Very impressed with how good it was. Will be back again for lunch!
Our server Devin was fantastic.he made the meal awesome by providing excellent service. And of course the food is absolutely fantastic.We split the sirloin for 2. Its a stellar value. Topped with peppercorn sauce and garlic butter. It comes with two wedge salads and two baked potatoesWe were able to celebrate my wifes birthday!
Another wonderful evening at Perry and Sons. They were able to make me a meal that met my strict dietary needs. I dont eat meat, dairy or oils. Thank you!
2nd visit and will be the last! Service was not the best…food is awful! Very tough steak, we asked for bread and they brought to us a HAMBURGER BUN!!! When I asked why we were given a HAMBURGER BUN?? The answer was: we ran out of bread…it was insulting to say the least! It was 5 pm the restaurant had just open for dinner…we were celebrating birthdays, they ruined our outing!
The steak was delicious but the service was lacking. We didnt get our bread until almost before our food was served and my salad was drowning in dressing. On top of that, they forgot my nephews French fries and mixed up hamburgers and were cold because they must have cooked them first while taking forever with the rest of our meal.
My wife and I loved the mushroom appetizer, wedge salad, French onion soup and burger today for lunch. Then picked up 4 amazing steaks to grill on Fathers day
Excellent meal!! Steaks and their famous stuffed pork chops are comparable to fancy steakhouses, but more reasonably priced. And great service!!
Excellent customer service, Jenny is always friendly and helpful with opening my Mexican coke aka glass bottle coke🤣 When your craving a homemade burger with a soft bun and fries be sure to hit Perrys up! I have had the Rosemarys chicken with grilled veggies and rice and its awesome! Ribeye sandwich is enough for 2 with some onion rings please. Too conveniently located to my job is my only complaint. No picture today but definitely will do next time.

Perry and Sons Market & Grill is a necessity if you are in the area. Especially on Wednesdays! They have a deal on their Porkchops. Their deal brings it down to $9.95 from $12.99. It is cooked very well, and the garlic butter on top gives it a good balance. On the side they serve Mashed Potatoes, a triangle of toasted bread, and a small cup of Applesauce. The Applesauce goes very well with the Pork. Try the Fried Asparagus as well! You will not be disappointed. Great food, great service, and a great environment.
Waited a long time to get a server, out of jalapeño bites, service slow. Have not been in a while, came for the jalapeños so very disappointed.

Ribs are better than salt licks, thursday night special is to die for. The staff are always so lovely, and it is very reasonably prices. 10/10 recommend - will be a regular here. It is amazing.

I’ve never had a mediocre experience here - always exceptional service, atmosphere and food. I love how cozy the dining room is - it’s dimly-lit and the tables are spaced well apart so that you can still have some privacy with your party. Love it! My favorite meal here is the tequila like chicken salad, their steaks are always delicious and I absolutely love their grilled veggie side dish! Their warm bread before your meal is perfect - not too heavy and not too light - and it’s delivered with whipped softened butter, ready for spreading. Bravo! I’m so glad Friendswood has this great little restaurant where you feel comfortable coming in dressed up or in shorts and a T-shirt. They also have a great ready-to-go selection of meats and sides if you want to pop in and grab some pre-seasoned steaks, fajitas, chicken breasts, etc. to throw on the grill for a big or small group. So nice to have that option instead of having to deal with HEB parking lot, lines and crowds.
Very nice casual dining. The steak I had was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was Rachel I believe and was very patient and friendly. Definitely will go back!

I should have sent it back. Wife and I shared a Steak for Two and it was awful. So tough and full of sinew that it was unchewable. We didnt send it back because we were with a group of five and didnt want to make a fuss. But, at that cost, it was a great disappointment. I should have sent it back or asked for a different cut. Waitstaff was exceptional, as always, just the meat was awful.
Everyone really enjoyed their food. Brunch and lunch orders. Well presented cooked just right. Staff was pleasant and attentive. A good choice and definitely going back.
Ok now when we talk about clean food we usually say home food is clean but that is not true all the time. Maybe the meat that you buy is not clean BUT I DO KNOW FOR SURE Perry & Sons Market & Grille is clean. And the waiters are amazing I say you should leave a tip of $20 Minimum

I dont even remember the last time I went out to eat!What a great treat to discover that Perrys was not busy at all.Landry our server was equally as excited to see is as I was to see her.She was as detailed and pleasant as I am when I serve my family at home😁She made the visit.The food was cooked to perfection and the fact they are less then 10 minutes from home was a plus.Everyone had made, gloves and practicing social distancing.For our 1st time out since quarantine stayed I felt very safe here.Way to go Perrys and staff.
Perry & Sons is always is the place to have a great steak and a good glass of wine. Had a steak for 2 dinner. Steak was cooked to temp and the bake potatoes were good.The only complaint. The Stuffed jalapeños are from Sysco. Something you will find at a sports bar. That was disappointing.
Love Perry’s. The pork chop lunch special is an amazing deal, but everything is good.

Its a beautifully decorated establishment Had to wait a bit for fresh baked potatoes, but it was well. The counter staff and management were top notch. They have an array of food you can buy to go to warm up at the house, or you can order hot plates to go. Very clean the restrooms were very well taken care of.
Dont order delivery. Their packaging is horrible there sauces are put in with the food on top of the food in their containers. Yuck. Of course they leaked all over the food. Weve had the best luck with Baytown seafood !

Made a reservation two weeks ago at 6pm. Tonight we waited until 6:20pm tonight before being seated....They know how to *take* the reservation, they just dont know how to *hold* the reservation. And thats really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them.Great food and great service after that, it was just a long 20 minutes...
Took the little one to dinner as she requested her favorite entree, steak. We were not disappointed. We split the t-bone and she had the lions share. It was cooked to perfection and our server was on top of everything. Thank you for preparing a fantastic meal for our Daddy/Daughter date night. We will most certainly be back.
Definitely not handicap friendly waiting area. We scheduled a reservation for 1730 and we werent seated until almost 1800. They put us right beside the TV/silverware area so waiters were bumping into our table throughout our meal. Pretty pricey but the food was good. Just wish the overall atmosphere would have been better so I could have actually enjoyed the food.
The inside is so much better than the outside its like the restaurant is keeping a secret. The streaks were delicious and prepared perfectly for every person on the table.the ambiance is higher end and more formal but not stuffy.We will definitely be back. unexpectedly great restaurant

Very quaint, good food and service. Waitress was very good about pointing out the good things on the menu. The only thing I have complaint about was the salad, although the dressings were good it was just a bagged lettuce salad. They could improve on this. Overall very good..!!!

The food and service were both amazing! We reserved the executive room for a birthday celebration and were immediately seated upon arrival. With a party of 10 people, the conversation flowed without having to compete against other patrons voices in the room. I would definitely recommend here for any type of gathering, or for a quieter top notch dinner for yourself or your family. Well definitely be going back in the future!

We have had many excellent experiences over the last 25 years at Perrys in Friendswood and June 9th was no different. My daughters birthday celebration was wonderful. The asparagus with crab makes a great appetizer. The filets were luscious. Our server, Landry, made this occasion special.

My experience here was preceisly what I expected from this establishment. The waitstaff is high quality, service is great and the food is great! This is a smallish to medium sized location in the Perry and Sons Market & Grille chain located in Houston and surrounding areas. Decor and ambience are well suited for the size. If you would like a more upscale setting try the location in Memorial City but this place is great regardless
Pretty disappointing evening with my wife....food is always great, as is service. However, while eating my wedge salad i bit into a piece of bacon with bone that split my upper right premolar in half. Didnt want to make any big deal out of it and didnt want or ask for anything. I told and showed the waiter just so he knew and he was apologetic. That is where it should have ended. I didnt appreciate the manager or whoever he was coming our table to explain to me that their twice cooked bacon bits are a boneless product and that if I find a piece of hard bacon in my baked potato to let them know. Apparently the manager is a spineless product as well.

Nice, quiet restaurant. You can wear a suit and tie, or t-shirt and shorts. Kind of on the pricey side. If you get a chance, try the pork chop on the lunch menu on Wednesdays. It is more than half the price it normally is. You get french fries with it instead of a baked potato, but, it is worth it. Be prepared though. It us HUGE! But it is very tender. It takes them five days to prepare it. So, when they run out for that day, thats it!
I like this place. The service and quality of food is always on point. I wish they had a full bar. I like how you can also get the pork or steak to go and cook it yourself. Just an all around good atmosphere. Check it out for a good date night.
Pork chops are unmatched
So good, we got a filet and porterhouse with the baked potato and wedge salad. On the salad we ordered the buttermilk vinaigrette that was phenomenal. Its a must have. Service was top notch and the wine we ordered was legit. Overall this place is a must try for a nice sit down for a reasonable price.

$30 Rib-eye very mediocre today. No taste. Poor quality beef. Baby back ribs were dry and tough. The loaded baked potato was not loaded much mostly potato. Good salad.Go to Killens for a great steak & ribs.
Excellent steaks. Just wish the rest of it was as high quality. House salad feels like it came from a bag. Had a shrimp topper on my steak and it was overcooked and did not taste fresh. Hate having a TV in the dining area.

Great place to have dinner near home. It is a bit fancy looking inside but locals often show up as they are, but you can dress up if you wish and you will not be out of place. The food is good and reasonably priced. They have a good take out menu too. Love their steak sandwich with cheese on it.
These guys started as a meat market that made hamburgers 40-50 years ago. Theyve come so far. All of their restaurants are great but this one is in my backyard. Service is impeccable. Food is always perfect. And, the meat market (attached) has some really great stuff! To-Go orders always perfect too!

Honestly, every time Ive been happy with my time here have been when Im only getting an appetizer (best calamari Ive ever had) and drinks. Ive visited on 3 different occasions for an actual meal, and been disappointed. The steak is not worth the price. The environment is beautiful, the calamari is great, but Ive never had a decent steak here. If you wanna grab some drinks and enjoy some appetizers only, I recommend it.
Great place to relax and have a delicious meal after a long day at work. Food is consistently delicious! Quality wait staff and managers. Hostess is adorable too! Best local restaurant for any occasion.
My wife liked the barbecue very much. I thought the cheesecake was great. The menu is limited, but if you want meat, its a good choice. The place is clean, although a bit dark. Service is OK. Not a bad option in Friendswood.
Top Sirlion for two was excellent. We choose to get grilled asparagus with it and those were grill perfectly. Italian dressing for our salad was excellent. Enjoyed our dinner very much.
