Did not have a good experience from this company. They damaged the drywall in my granddaughters room. Did not seal the bottom step at all on any of the stairs. Left the back board on the stairs primed and not painted. Did not touch up any paint that was either damaged from them or incomplete by the builder. The crew left before I got home from work. Mr. Mathews came by and even stated that They could have done a better job and promised to come back and make it right. Nothing, no phone call or email. Its been weeks and I paid 6k+ for this small job. I called our salesman Austin and he stated you on the list for the painters. No follow up, no follow through and the stairs look terrible. I do not recommend this company, go somewhere else where integrity and customer service comes first.
Flooring Source did an amazing job. From sales to scheduling to install, everything went smoothly. Phone calls were received when promised and installation crew showed up at the beginning of the 1 hour start window. The installer (Jerry) and his son did a phenomenal job. They replaced carpet in 3 upstairs bedrooms, moved furniture out and back, etc without scraping or damaging hardwood floors or walls in stairway and halls. They worked quickly and efficiently and were done quickly with only 1 short break. I’d highly recommend Flooring Source and this installer.
2.5 Stars...My wife and I purchased LVP and carpet from the Flooring Source and I can say my experiences with them has been mostly good except for the float for the LVP, which I will explain. When selecting the floor and discussing options, Adam and Chris were very helpful and knowledgeable. They are both stand up guys and I was rather pleased at their efforts to win our business and overall customer service. In addition, the prices were pretty good based on our experiences shopping around. They were not the lowest on the market but they were not the highest either. The install of the carpet went smooth and Jerry, the installer, was very nice and gave me a lot of good advice about carpet maintenance and upkeep. We really liked him and he was very good and knowledgeable. The LVP installation team is different from the carpet guys. We have an older house and knew extensive float was required, which was explained to us from the beginning. We also knew that it would not be perfect, which we accepted.I worked from home during the LVP installation and the float application seemed rather rushed. I kept asking the installer, are you sure this is right and does not need more float? Once it was all down we noticed some dips and rises throughout the floor. I asked a contractor friend of mine to look at it without giving him my opinion, and he said the floor looks really good, but the float cold have been done better. My wife and I decide to accept the floor as is, as neither of us feel it is a terrible job and needs to be redone; rather we both feel they could have taken a little more time on the float and evened the floor out better. And in all honesty, the floor is absolutely beautiful.Although we accept the floor as a whole, there is one area that needs to addressed. As you can see from the pic, one plank depresses about an 1/8. When we pointed this out to the installer he said he would fix it before he left, but did not.Bottom Line: If you are purchasing carpet, you are in great hands and I recommend The Flooring Source. If you are purchasing hard floor, I advise that you be onsite during the install and test sections of the floor as it is being installed.
The customer service was great. Ive been serve well. Got the product I really need in a high quality condition. Thanks.
Very happy with our remodel. Adam and Justin were very helpful in answering any questions we had. The contractors were all professional and on time.
WARNING! If you value your time this is not the store to go to! I went into their store mid week. Told them my situation and exactly what I wanted. The did not offer to allow me to take the samples home as most stores in the area do. Instead they made me schedule an appointment for a full in home estimate. Ok, I’ll schedule. First appointment available was for Friday at 3:00pm. I let them know I had several other deliveries and estimates happening that day but I would fit that in. 3:10pm Friday no one here, no phone call. I call the store and the manager or owner proceeds to tell me that he called me this morning and left a detailed message to confirm and since I didn’t call back he just didn’t come. I told him that that was ridiculous. I confirmed with his associate 2 days prior. If they needed to confirm the day of, they should have let me know that when I made the appointment so I could be on the lookout for the call. He said he shouldn’t have to tell me. I should have checked the voicemail and called back. It was MY fault for not confirming. I asked why he didn’t try again? He only repeated himself and said he called this morning. After him talking over me and being very rude and condescending he asked if I wanted him to come at 4:30 or 5:00pm. I said no. I then checked my voicemail and verified that he never called and left me a message. I called the store back to let them know that they never called me and thanked them for wasting my time. In response, I was told, “you’re welcome.”
I highly recommend Flooring Source in Friendswood. We had LVP installed in our downstairs and have been very pleased with the product and the service. Desiree was very helpful and knowledgeable with the selection and design and the installers were nice, neat and professional. We love our new floors!!
My wife and I had gone to the big box store and had received a price on what they called their hi-end carpet. I stopped in at the Friendswood show room and spoke with Chris. He was able to give me a better carpet at a lower price. Also, it was supporting a small local business!! The process was easy, and Chris was just a phone call away. The installation crew was top notch and extremely professional.
They are always very helpful and nice.
I went to the Friendswood store to get tile put in my dining room and new carpet in 2 other rooms. They were great with working around my scheduling issues, did the job quickly, and the work is great. Here is a picture of the new tile on the dining room and new carpet in the living room. Im enjoying it very much!
This Review is regarding the Friendswood Location. My Family has been using Flooring Source and Adam for 10+ years now. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are more than a flooring store and can do any renovation your home needs. They replaced our living room Carpet with beautiful wood looking tile last year. Most recently, they completed a full Master Bath Renovation for us. Adam had all ideas laid out and ready to go for us when we arrived at the Showroom to pick everything out. It was easy and seamless especially for rookies like us. As far as fixtures and bath tubs etc you need to be willing to go to a separate store for those things which Flooring Source Directs you to. The Job was Quick and they finished our complete Bath remodel in about 2 weeks. Justin, the scheduling coordinator was always calling and letting me know when contractors would be arriving. Our Install contractors, John & Louis were outstanding and professional! Always on time and stayed late. We always recommend friends and family too. If you live anywhere in the Friendswood, Pearland, League City, Clear Lake area Flooring Source is your go to. Thanks again Flooring Source!
Had a great experience at this store. The staff was polite helpful and went out of their way for me. I highly recommend!
Friendly and efficient family owned company! I refer friends and customers to flooring source all the time and the outcomes are phenomenal. Highly recommend!
We are very happy with the sales, service, expertise, professionalism, and quality in the process of choosing and installing wood floors in our home. We are appreciative of their patience when working with our insurance company. Adam in sales made sure we received what we wanted at the right price. The installers were kind, respectful, and considerate in our home. Our furniture and other belongings were moved and replaced with care. We have no hesitation in recommending Flooring Source to others.
No help in choosing a tile that would match. Never called me back with a quote. Plus..,super expensive( you have to pay for the shipment of the tile to their store). Taking pictures is not allowed. Would not recommend this place.
Adam and his crew did a fantastic job from start to finish on the floors in our house. Henry our installer was top notch and didnt cut corners during the installation process. Highly recommend.
The Flooring Source was my general contractor for home repairs following Hurricane Harvey. They did my walls, floors, doors, trim, cabinets, tile and countertops—not all things you expect from a store about floors! Adam was great to work with in picking out what I needed, planning my kitchen layout, scheduling work, etc and was very responsive to my interest in finding ways to save money in the process. Richard, the owner, was very helpful with insurance paperwork and even took time out to meet me at the bank to get an insurance check processed. Jared was on top of the scheduling with subcontractors and kept me posted on things with regular phone calls. Can’t say enough good things about these folks!!
I recently purchase flooring for my home. Danielle was extremely helpful and pleasant. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking into any kind of flooring.
I just finished a major flooring project in my home. Flooring Source removed marble, tile and hardwood floors and replaced it with tile and wood. It looks beautiful! The team I worked with were professional and the timeline they gave me was accurate. Desiree was my sales woman and she was excellent, Adam coordinated the installation and they both kept me in the loop with the schedule. Henry installed the tile and he was a pleasure to work with. It was a messy job, but he and his helpers cleaned up before they left every day. The hardwood went down in 2 days! I am very pleased and I highly recommend them if you want a job well done!
Went to the Dickinson store was treated horrible. Went into the store and three people were sitting at the desk and didnt even acknowledge me. Had questions as a contractor the sales associate kept going in and out of her boss office to get the questions answered. Her boss then exist the store and didnt even ask me if all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Actually he didnt even acknowledge me. The same associate came out to the house and was so inexperienced overpriced out the project. Then I went to there Friendswood store and was extremely impressed about their welcoming response as I entered the store. After that everything went down hill. The associate there asked what happened so I told her and the manager there the whole stor. Immediately she made the comment that she should be the manager at the Dickinson store and said the associates at that store are poorly trained and have customer service issues. I thought that was out of line but I let her talk because that showed me why she wasnt consider to be a manager. So I spent time with her and the manager at the Friendswood store and the comment to me made by the stores manager was Mrs. Harris if your basing you decision off the price we back our work with this this and this. He listed to me why the price he gave me was the best deal. Then asked me about the other stores that quoted prices. At that time the female associate bashed her competition because she use to work there. Another reason why she shouldnt be a manager. By this time I was disappointed in both the manager and the associate. Its not about the cost its about the customer service, time and integrity. I told both of them that Im an investor and I take notes on the whole experience be it a contractor or a retail store doing the work and I compare all my research and then I base my decision. Both individuals mouths dropped and were like wow really. Basically its an interview without the contractor or retailers knowing was my answer. So I windup not accepting their offer and I could see the shift in their attitudes but I did buy 100.00 + in materials from them. I later called the female and asked her to ask her boss about the estimate to see if that was with a discount that she told me about ear and to send me an estimate. She never sent the estimate so I called her the next day she immediately told me she was busy and couldnt get to my estimate and didnt speak with her boss. So I asked when my product was coming in and she said Wednesday. So asked her to check on the pricing of some more materials and find out when the product would be in, I told her I would call her back by 5:00. Well I wasnt able to, I finally touched basis back with the story about 5:20 because I do have multiple properties Im working on so I wasnt able to get back with her in specific. So I spoke with another associate which was extremely hesitatant to give me any information but said she would have her call me in the morning. She didnt call about the price or anything I called her. She began getting rude in our discussion. I didnt check her because normally I would. The reason I didnt because I just previously told you what I had went through with the other store. So I let it go and knew they werent going to be getting my business after all of what happened up until this point. This all started on a Saturday. So I call again Tuesday afternoon to check on my product and the manager answers the phone and tells me my product is at the store. Mind you no one called me and told me it got there early. So I go the pick it up and waited for them to get it out of the back I noticed the ower of the store was there, the manager at that Friendswood store and the female I was normally dealing with or lack there of and another associate. So Im waiting for the order I say I waited about 8 to 10 minutes. If I called 20 to 30 minutes prior why was I waiting? Now here comes the kicker. The box wasnt sealed at the bottom if I had picked the box up quickly everything would have fell out of the bottom of that box.
Horrible!!!! Do not use these people! We ordered hard floors, carpet, and kitchen cabinets. They never ordered the carpet even though they said multiple times that they did, I met with the manager and it was never ordered. The kitchen cabinets they messed up multiple times. They ordered wrong sizes twice. I ordered all this back in october, its may and we are still waiting on our cabinets to be done. DO NOT Use Lori stahl. She is horrible and has no clue what shes doing. She is a typical sales person, doesnt know anything about measuring a kitchen. She is also a liar, I have multiple text messages from her that the carpet was in and just waiting to be installed, months later I went to the manager and they said she never ordered it.Their communication is non existant. We have been stuck dealing with them for literally 8 months because they make you pay upfront.
I have used Flooring Source in three different houses we own, the service we received was superior and the people are the best. I will only use them when I need flooring or counter tops Thank you Rich and your staff...
Selection was not up to par and honestly the pricing was high,
