Of course everything is expensive....Birthday bear is cost of kids age upto 14...They didnt want to stuff bears until all the kids picked a bear ;(... which would have helped entertain the kids...Cashier had miss spoke... when i asked if we can get a birthday bear and a BOGO 10 deals... she said NO... stuffer said we could get birthday bears and still get BOGO 10 on items with red cards. So we let kiddos get their bday bears and each kid (4) picked a BOGO... so 6 bears in total...I didnt know about scan your tag and print a bear certificate (free with bear purchase) until we were ready to go... we had to wait in line for that after making our purchase.. they have bday stickers and paper hats for kids sitting by a window (had to look for them, instead of cashier handing them to kids).Kids slept with them when we got home...

The staff makes every bear making experience special for all involved. You truly bring your furry friend to life.

Quite the fun gift for a Valentines Day. The wife love coming back to pick out outfits. Wish there were more options in mix and match rather than mostly only full outfits. But other than that great!

Due to covid only several families are to go inside at a time which is a good idea buy the line outside gets pretty long.

There is not that much accessories to choose from like other stores. But service is great.

Plenty of fun to be had here, but of course, plenty of money to be spent, too!

Great and fast service

I actually got a bear here for my wife. She wanted the Halloween bat that they no longer sell but had a display of it.They offered the display and would even reduce or add stuffing to it if she wanted it to feel any different.The employees were extremely nice and are always attentive.My wife loves build a bear and will continue coming here for a long time to come. Next step is the nightmare before christmas bears!!

Took my 1byear old for her birthday bear. The staff was helpful and made the build a breeze. Everyone kept their distance and wearing masks. Great place.

It all started back I was a little snowball the man at the cash register showed me some bears but not the type ur thinking of. It was really scary whenever I recently came back to the same store and still saw the man there.

The service was fantastic. The only thing I forgot to do was check my recorded voice before leaving. It sound great when I recorded, but low when it was put in the bear. So play it before you leave.

Love this place! Kids as well as grownups have fun. Had a party party with 20 kiddos - wish I had more than 1 person from Build a Bear assisting us. Kids did a great job being patient and waiting their turn.

Everyone at the store was very helpful and nice. Very informative and making the whole experience enjoyable. With a very welcoming atmosphere. There are dozens of stuffed animal skins to pick from. There are themed ones to pick from too. Lots of outfits to pick out for your stuffed animal. It was a wonderful experience.

Poor customer service, unfriendly staff, and horrendous attitude sum up the worst experience i have ever had at build a bear. Its a kids store so misbehaving and crying children are expected but the eye rolling and sarcastic mouth by the cashier “Ashton” directed at my teething 1 year old down right unnecessarily and unprofessional.

All the staff here are amazing they make my kids so excited and happy to be there and go above and beyond especially the 2 Mirandas and Megan they always take a little extra time to make us feel welcome even when my minions wanna tear apart the store 😊

Came to get my little sister two of the new Pokémon as an early birthday present. Its nice how things have been adapted for the pandemic.

Got to BAB at Baybrook at 7:05pm and they were already closed and no sign on the gate saying why they closed before 8:00 p.m.

They are very kind and trying to fix that mess they had when you pay the age of your kid for a bear. They gave us $15 off for the trouble.

Terrible customer service! These “associates” have zero customer service and attend their customers poorly. Regardless of the COVID pandemic these clowns did nothing to help regulate their traffic going into their stores and looked at people and just laughed showing zero empathy for the wait and did not care that the wait was that long. Their names are Ryan, and Skylar.

Our little one loved her bunny. It has both my husbands & my voice! (SS picture from a video) Excuse the low quality. 😊 We will be buying more for sure! We had great customer service. The cashier lady took her time explaining everything for us.

Staff is friendly and helpful, they do their best to make the experience fun and lighthearted for the children. The store can be a bit chaotic at times, and more computers for creating birth certificates would be helpful, as there are often lines. Other than that, great store with nice staff.

This place is awful. Miranda is extremely rude and unhelpful. I ordered a Christmas gift online and was sent the wrong thing. The website says you can return for ANY REASON, and when I went to the store for help, she was dismissive and refused to help me in any way, telling me I can call corporate for help but otherwise I’m out of luck. Now I can’t get through the hour long wait on the customer service line. I will not be shopping here ever again, and I strongly suggest avoiding this place and Miranda’s poor attitude and customer service.

I have had a good experience up until today,I have been a loyal client to build a Bear and have always had an account with them ever since I was little. Everyone was nice and welcoming except for a cashier who was having an attitude once people mentioned they had a “Pay your Age” voucher. I had given her my account number and she stated I was “underage” (I’m 16 btw) to use the voucher given to me for being a member. Keep in mind, before Build a Bear had renewed their websites and stores, Build a Bear had let me have a membership as young as the age of 9 as long as my parent was present (it was under my name and everything) I only simply renewed my account once we were emailed to. This lady was extremely rude in saying how the Bear I chose did not apply to the voucher (which was my fault in my end, but I was okay with the fact it was my mistake) But the lady stated no one else could use the voucher in my place just because it was invalid because of my age. It breaks my heart that after being a loyal customer for almost my entire life to be treated this way in place that is suppose to be a positive atmosphere for family and children. I will not be coming back

Took my daughter today for her birthday just like we do every year. Shes 11 now and Ill take as long as she lets me. Callie was awesome and ended up helping us when we chose her bear, stuffed her bear, and when we checked out, Thanks Callie!!!

For all the years back in high school and college, I dont think I ever stepped foot into this place. But recently, I had a clever idea for a vday gift for my wife. Yes, I know cheesy, but my idea was for the recording. We always had an ongoing joke about what would be recorded, so I decided to finally go through with it. It is a fun process and actually quick. The prices are a bit high for what you get but if you do the recording I think it makes it a personal gift.

Eevee doll was sold out.

It was crazy busy and the machine clogged but they went out of their way to fix everything. There was a birthday party and a huge crowd from the Memorial Day holiday but they worked steadily to accommodate everyone. They called out his name for his birthday and let him ring the bell. Very personal oriented.

I am still madly in love with my Eevee I got there. Didnt have the energy or strength to wait in line to get it stuffed, so they sold me the display model instead!

Fun place for kids

Today, mothers day was my first time going to build a bear and I will probably never go back. We went in to get a birthday bear for my just turned 4 year old to see what it was like. It was an overwhelming experience to say the least. I understand in retail of any kind you want to try and up sale, however I think its wrong to try to do it using a 4 year old and not really asking the parents if its ok first. There were two woman there trying to up sale to my 4 year old and trying get her to pick the more expensive animals as well as one of them kept trying to get more and more add ons before we could even think to make a choice and tell her it was ok. That included one of the scent things that she enticed my child with and shoved it into the bear and sewed it up before my husband could have a chance to decline. Sometimes parents have to have a budget for things especially if they have more children. It is wrong for them to take advantage of the parents by using their children, knowing the parents are going there to make their child happy. So now we have a bear that we are not completely happy with and paid more then anticipated.
