Perfect to take to the nursing home. Dad loved it!
Awful service. Lady running the drive-thru charged me twice and also read my card numbers. Id rather drive leave early for the Plano location instead of getting conned here. Screw you.
Crazy place, one roach was roaming all over the floor and one of the employee laughed off quoting its a small one. They have put the App offline for online ordering which is so weird and its been the same for last 6 months. The person at front desk dont even understand the English correctly and take wrong orders and then, argue and fight later for no reason. The ones on Parker Blvd and Hebron Pkwy are awesome with great customer service, I have been a regular visitor for last 7 years.Beware!!! Avoid this location if you can!!!
The bagels are really good here. I love them double toasted which is a personal preference but you should try all their Bagel options. You have multiple Bagel and Shmear options to choose from. In addition to bagels, they have a lot more out here - I’m yet to try them out but I’m sure they are really tasty. They have couple of tables outside if you want to eat outside (especially during these COVID times) and they have a lot more inside. I personally prefer it outside because of the situation now. More tables outside would be really good !Every weekend I visit, the place is packed which really tells you they serve it tasty :) I haven’t tasted the drinks/coffee here, so that is for another day !They also have a drive through if you want to pick up your food on the go.
Every time I come through the drive through theres a rude employee taking the orders and rushing. When I drove up to the window the lady couldnt even look me in my face while speaking. Be more polite. I came there because me and my boyfriend havent ate all day. Also, they should add the tap to pay option to their payment methods. May be something they have no control over. Who knows? 🤷🏽♀️
Ambience looks good. While ordering Bagels they restaurant ppl are telling it takes toasting 40 mins . I don’t understand .. why it takes 40 mins for toasting a bagel . So even least bothered about order .Einstein bagel is always fav bagel shop
Very very very very crowded though. Its a popular place. So its both a good and a bad. Adjust your time expectations accordingly.
This place lacks basic courtesy and manners. No one greets you coming in and when I said: “ good morning, how are you today”, the response was: “fine”.Aren’t they supposed to say: “good morning, I am doing fine and you?”To management: Cut and paste this script for your employees. At 8:30am this place was barely busy. A sign that it sucks??? Probably. The bagels are good, but with that kind of customer service, they should not be serving people.
Allways good experiences here! Fast and nice staff
This bagel store has fabulous products. The one I love is the Apple Cinnamon Bagel toasted with cream cheese - fantastic. The store offers many kinds of bagels that are outstanding. The bagels stay fresh for many days.
Most of the time the customized orders were messed up. They have to improve their listening
They never get the order correct when going through the drive through.
I havent eaten a Einsteing Bagels in a very long time. This is my first time stopping by a Einstein in Texas. What a big mistake. It was flat out disgusting. The inside fillings was almost zero to none meaning there was barely anything there. The outter bagel shell was nearly burned. I paid $7.40 for something that taste like garbage. Looked nothing like the picture they advertised on the website menu. I could have gone to Sonic, whataburger and got a breakfast burrito that taste better then their bagelrito, which consist of breakfast meat and hashbrowns. I really regret not cooking my own breakfast at home. They deserve zero stars
First time coming here, and I was nervous bc of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I went through the drive thru and it was fast and person taking the order was nice. Food was really good too.. My daughter got the churro bagel with honey almond and I got the brisket breakfast sandwich. Will come again.
Einstein Bros. was created by the chain restaurant corporation Boston Chicken (now Boston Market) in 1995, as a way to market breakfast foods. The chain is now owned by Einstein and Noah Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc.[1]Boston Chicken, Inc. originally formed the Einstein and Noah Bagel Corporation as Progressive Bagel Concepts, Incorporated (PBCI) in March 1995, when it purchased four retail bagel chains, all located in regions of the United States that did not have longstanding bagel traditions. These companies included Offerdahls Bagel Gourmet, Incorporated (Fort Lauderdale), Bagel & Bagel, Incorporated (Kansas City), Baltimore Bagel (San Diego), and Brackman Brothers, Incorporated (Salt Lake City). Each found that their stores were similar in that they offered both original and new bagel flavors in rich neighborhoods where the customers had relatively little previous exposure to bagels.[2]Noahs Bagels was founded in 1989 by Noah Alper on College Avenue in Berkeley, California.[3] In 1996, the chain of 38 stores was sold to Einstein Bros. for $100 million.[4]New World Coffee was founded in the early 1990s by Ramin Kamfar, an investment banker who left his finance career to open a coffee shop.[5] It bought Manhattan Bagel out of bankruptcy in 1998.[6] The combined company purchased Washington, D.C.-based Chesapeake Bagel Bakery in 1999 when that chain had 89 stores, giving Manhattan approximately 350 locations.[7]In 2000, Einstein Bros. filed for bankruptcy, having loaned too much money to franchisees.[5] After it declared bankruptcy, New World Coffee, which had earlier attempted an unsuccessful hostile takeover, bought the company out of bankruptcy for $190 million.[8]In 2014, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group was acquired by JAB Holding Company and BDT Capital Partners.[9]
Very good service, and the food was very good. Parking was adequate.
Updating my scoring today, bringing them down another star. I was hoping there would be some improvements, but with COVID-19, and basic food health standards; this place fails. The cashier never changed her gloves while grabbing bagels and serving them and handling orders/payments. Expect lovely customer service What do you want to order?Again this review is solely at this location, I absolutely love Einsteins, going to have to travel a little further to the Plano location.Bagel size is the same today, didnt bother with the coffee.Note these bagels are smaller than other Einstein locations, with the same quality of ingredients.Coffee, watered down.Creamers, go ahead give the creamer canisters a shake, yes what youll hear are ice cubes.Customer service, wow just wow. First you better move along immediately after you place your order or theyll raise there voice to you to move. Its hard to understand what theyre saying, and dont ask them to repeat what they said, thatll just upset them.A customer infront of me didnt know to grab 2 tubs of cream cheese and the cashier tried to charge her for a single serving of cream cheese. I let the customer know that she could pick 2 from the limited display, cashier was upset about that.Take a look at the picture posted, yes thats someones fingers that dug into the pickle, wonder what else they did to my food.Note this location by no means should represent the company as a whole. However, corporate this is a location that should be reviewed and considered to place a new franchisee in.
Had someone go by here for the office in the morning, the drive thru cashier was very rude and did not respect what we had ordered. Instead of trying to fix the situation “ Dining “ kept on arguing saying “ No you did not say shake “. When I even had a sticky note with the orders. Called left a voicemail to speak to someone in charge but nobody called me back. Bagels were not that good, I could tell the egg was old.
Very poor customer service. This experience offsets any good that the product may have.Restaurant table and floors are dirty. I didnt see one person clean a table the 30 minutes I was here. Every table that is available is littered with Bagel crumbs.Staff is lacking in basic Manners and Hospitality.Wifi information is has to be given by the counter staff and Video streaming is blocked.
So we ordered a Caramel Coffee Cooler and we were charged $.80 for whipped cream, it literally says We top our Caramel Coffee Cooler with a halo of whipped cream... in the description of the drink on the menu on their own app. When we asked the cashier at the window about it her response was well a lot of people dont like whipped cream so we charge extra for it. If this is an extra charge it shouldnt be included in the description of the product on their own menu. And a little less I dont want to be here attitude would be appreciated as well.
Had to have been the worst experience I’ve had at an Einstein’s. Went through the drive through and firstly I couldn’t understand a single thing they were saying. Secondly I ordered two things and when I went up to the window they only gave me one of my items. I tried to explain to them that I ordered two items, and instead of trying to explain anything to me, they just told me to move with hand motions. I’m not one to complain, but I went inside and AGAIN tried to explain myself and they were extremely rude and told me how I was completely wrong and how I ordered wrong and didn’t try to be nice what so ever. It’s the little things in life I guess, such as HAVING GOOD COMMUNICATION IN THE DRIVE THROUGH because I 100% believe this could’ve been resolved if they were understandable.
The hostess was very friendly, the Nova Lak bagel is the best with added avocado.
Here bagels are good. However if there are people in lane on driveway quality decreases. It is not toasted well. Their service is good. I have experienced thrice and writing this review. That is the reason I gave one star less.
The people who run this place are not very nice and while I will miss having Einsteins Bagels in the morning, I wont come back here for another few years.
Good place and good food. Love the bagels.
Staff needs to be more warm and friendlier.
Horrible staff and management. Completely botched our order and when we called, didn’t even bother returning our call. Our order was pretty straight forward so it just shows the laziness of the staff and owners.
The food here is great the employees here are awful. They are so rude and always rush in drive thru don’t even greet you nicely when you pull up.
Just found them un my neighborhood!! So happy to have them around again. Best Bagels this side of New York or Miami!!
Food is always fresh but the drive through line is very slow.
They never have the right order. The last time they did not have the Jalapeno bagel so they gave me normal bagel and added single pieces of Jalapeno inside the normal bagel. Are you kidding me?
Really good fresh bagels everytime I have been here !
The owner is the definition of rudeness. This kind of place is ruining our community.
Their cold brew is delicious.
Speed of service may need some assistance on the weekends, it took twenty-ish minutes to get my bagels put in a box, but they were friendly enough and we enjoyed them.
They are conveniently stating their mobile app service is down. It’s been down for 2 weeks. This is a transparent effort to deny us online discounts.SHAMEFUL.
These guys charge you extra and donot give the service. Their system wasn’t working on one side and they took my phone to scan the loyalty code and ring me a coffee. They charged my points for it and instead of my order for a large coffee they gave me the smallest one. On pointing the issue, they said that they had already rung it up and wouldn’t change. On multiple occasions, they charge extra for whip cream and never put it on your latte. Will never be going back after the swindled my points for their profits.
Ordered a tub of bagels and they were cut wrong. Had to redo and try to save what we could. Very rushed service even though no one was in there.
Best staff so friendly
Staff appears unfriendly and not so courteous. Our order was not done properly. On the sliced bagels, cheese was overly done.
I paid $3.55 for a Cinnamon Raisin bagel with plain smear. I can’t even see that price on the menu!!!!!! Owner was rude, probably a price they give to people they don’t like. I still want a refund because I was overcharged!!!
If I could write negative stars I would. We got up to the window for them to tell us they were out of our order when we already waited 20 minutes. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Always a winner. Lox bagel was delicious.
Bagels were good. Picked up at 7am so service was a little slow, but nothing bad. People who were working were nice
I love Einstein’s bagels but this location has consistently terrible service.
I went here for caribou and the people didnt even know what a campfire mocha was. I was so disappointed after getting so excited for a caribou in texas. That saying the coffee I got was good but I mean come on wheres the main menu at?
The only Restaraunt in this pandemic with out a touchless payment service. They finally fixed their drive thru audio though.
I mean dont get me wrong. Great customer service and fast service but I can do what I ordered myself as I was taken there by a friend......and it was delicious BTW.
The customer service is horrible at this place. The woman in the drive through was very rude and doesnt need to be working there.. I ordered a large coffee and my coffee was mostly milk. The bagel was chewy and not toasted. Disgusting! I wont be returning here again! Waste of money.
No wonder this store has so many bad reviews. You will experience the worst customer service ever, and the unsanitary food handling and preparation will be a bonus pack. You who enter this place, leave your dignity outside. Try your luck!
BUYER BEWARE!! They charge you twice the price than any other Einstein Bros location. They charge $3.99 for a chocolate chip cookie while every other location charges $1.89. They charge $3.08 for a bagel w/cream cheese when every other location charges $1.59. Dont let them rip you off! Patronize other Einstein Bros. that actually care about their customers!
They are not very nice and they often mess up the order. Sometimes they cut the bagels poorly and lopsided, sometimes they dont cut them at all. The people who take the order make sure that every customer knows how miserable they are. Successful despite that best efforts.
I just tried this place right now for the first time on a break from school which is only right around the corner and let me tell you this place is amazing The Bagel is so fresh and soft but yet crunchy and it comes with the cream cheese already in the center which is so nice not having to do it yourself. Does fresh fruit cups are perfect size and the coffee is excellent with a great flavor and pick me up perk.
Lady at the window is so rude and theyll do anything to not let you use online app. Keeps saying system is down and makes you pay the full price.Ive change my companys bagel pick up to Panera instead. Its not my first experience, Ive been going g to this location ever since they opened up but no more!!
Not my fav. For the price, I was not impressed with the quality. I got the bagel-rito and the picture was very deceptive. Mostly bread with a bit of filling for $8?
Service was relatively fast. No complaints.
Always consistent....Always good!
Great bagel bakery and restaurant. Setup is similar to Einstein across the country. Large variety of fresh bagels and creme cheeses. Not as crowded and back line is efficient in getting orders to customers. Great drink options and standard coffee options.
My first time at any Einstein Bros. and the staff was very helpful and after an eternity of me making a decision they had my order out less than 5 minutes. The food was really good (Chicken and Tater, pizza bagel, and walnut cinnamon strudel) and the cold pressed coffee was delicious (kind of chocolatey). Would definitely come here again.
I waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes and nothing. I called 3x and nothing. It’s as if they could care less about the guests only collecting a check. And people are driving away behind me.
Good food! Service need some improvements!
Always a good place for a quick meeting or family stop by.
Professional, efficient staff in this location. Ive been here 5-6 times now, and it also seems like they give slightly more toppings on the specialty bagel sandwiches than other locations in the area! Bonus! Thanks yall.
I stop at this location to grab bagels and cream cheese for my crew .We didnt have a way to cut and toast them so I asked the cashier to get them that way and he refused because they were all fresh out of the oven couldnt be cutThat sounds a little ridiculous to meI will not be back to this location. Cashier just shrugged his shoulder like who cares
Amazing! Service.
We love to eat at this Einstein’s. Coffee is good and so is their mango tea! Once they were out of my daughter’s fav bagel and the owner offered her a coffee cake for free bc she was so sad. :). Thank you for always giving great service.
A very enjoyable place to eat
Great Bagels!!! Very much centralized location with multiple ways to get in and get out. Love their Mondays Bakers Dozen deal. Dont forget to ask for a freezer bag which is super helpful if you are going to enjoy them over few days.Sure to check out Einstein Bagels gift cards at Costco, saving you 20 percent straight out. Thats one way you can stretch your dollar and enjoy more Bagels.
Dont go to this place. There is a reason why ppl giving out 1 star. Terrible customer service. I went in th other day and stand for 5 minutes waiting for cashier to take my order. Unfortunately, cashier didnt understand English
Great breakfast in the morning and good lunches as well. Staff was nice and the place was kept well clean.
Bagels were burnt. I got a tub of cream cheese and it was frozen. I was given my bagels and then waited at checkout with no one there.
I am so pissed!! Me and my family are regular here, we come if not every week, every other week. We always buy bulk like dozen or half dozen, and eat some and take the rest home. It has been fine until today, we were asked to pay the bagels individually or else they won’t toast them! I mean who eats bagels without toasted! And it’s not even that busy here so what is so big deal toasting a few bagels!! Is it the issue with toasting or just want some extra money selling them individually?? We are so disappointed! We come here first thing in the morning and now our mornings are ruined by this!! We are certainly not coming here to eat anymore! I mean we still love the bagels it’s just we are too disappointed with the staff and their attitude! Not sure if this was told from the Einstein Bagels or it’s just this particular franchise ..?
Bagel was decent, but not fully toasted. All trashcan in lobby were overflowing. Coffee was good too, but restaurant needs better cleaning of lobby.
I typically do not come to this location because the bagels are always stale w no flavor. Today I was running late and couldn’t go to my fave location. Thought they may have improved since last time I went. They’re still the same, stale bagels w absolutely no flavor. I’m not sure if they’re following the recipes that Einstein gives them. The bagels honestly taste like they’re a day old. It’s a shame, because this location used to be my regular location, but due to repeatedly not getting quality bagels for my money, I switched to a much better location.
Only been in the drive through. Staff is nice and friendly and service is quick. They have the best bagels for retail sales in the area.
I love these bagels. The boxes of bagels are awesome. Also they have best cream cheese ever.
My daughter and I enjoyed coming to this location. Service was great and the bagels and coffee were fantastic! This Einsteins will definitely be one of our mommy and daughter go to places on Saturday mornings!
The bagels are always so fresh and delicious. The chocolate chip bagel is the best! The hazelnut coffee is also great!
Ever since I found the chicken and tater breakfast sandwich my life has been drastically changed. Never really had a bad thing here honestly. Tasty place.
Bagels what more to say 😊
Good Einsteins location by Preston in Frisco, been getting bagels and coffee here for several years and never had an issue 😁
I like Einstein Bagels, but sort of loathe this location. Their bagel slicer is way off and seems to cut at an angle or something where you end up with 1 side really thick and the other really thin. Get a promotion email from Einstein bagels for a free bagel sandwich..I can almost guarantee this location will have some kind of issues that day where they are unable to process any reward redemption. Do yourself a favor, and visit another location if you have the time.
Came in before work one day around 9am and got some schmearfuls. They were cold and stale and hard. I decided to give them a second chance, came in 2 days later and got the same thing. I told the cashier the problem Id had, she apologized and said she would make sure they were fresh. This time they were burning hot and hard as a rock, as if they had just been microwaved. I emailed the manager with my complaint, and she confirmed they get them frozen and just warm them up. I asked for a refund 2 weeks ago and she still has not responded, and today when I called the store the employees seemed to not know how to speak on the phone and they couldnt agree on what the Owners name was. Instead of taking my information or even apologizing for my experience, they just said the manager and the owner were gone for the day and to call before noon tomorrow. Im beyond irritate at this point. Terrible experience, would give a 0 star rating if I could.
Just moved to Frisco, now I am in the vicinity of this store. Horrible!! Rude drive thru people, can never get an order correct, 3 times I have been there, 3 times order was not correct! No one answers the phone when u call to talk to a manager, and for goodness sakes if you have schmear points, I had to ask 3 times to use points when she obviously wanted to ignore them after looking it up. Just kept telling me i owed her the balance without deducting the free bagel i had coming. Not used to dealing with rude people. Einsteins corporate will be getting a call since no one at this location can communicate.
Great place if you love bagels. Turkey sausage is really good.
Love these bagels
Great bagels but does get expensive if you get their premium bagels.
I live for the Spinach Bacon Chefs Creation sandwich. Great start to your day. This location had a drive through. Fast and efficient!
Love it. New York Style Deli Bagels. Large variety and combinations. Excellent coffee.
Big breakfast variety with bagels, if you like bagels.
We ordered bagels and cream cheese, but they were not toasted well. Also, coffee was not up to the mark. On informing them, they said that this was how it was. Disappointed with the service and quality of the food. Not recommend.
We were missing part of my order so we went back in to replace what was missing. When my husband went in the boy at the window took the girl off the register in the in the entry and was extremely rude to my husband. On top of that they said we didn’t pay for it, and we could not prove that we did because the boy never gave us our receipt. This location is not recommended unless you want to be disrespected and talked to like your trash!
Go here a lot because I like Einstein’s food, but this location has awful service. They almost always screw up your order if it is the least bit complicated. I’ve never written a review for any place before but they have continuously made me so mad with how bad they screw up orders so here I am. If you’re thinking of stopping by save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
