I went in for a nose piercing a little hesitant since I’ve never been to this place before but not only took care of me but exceeded my expectations. I ended up getting two additional piercings because they made me feel so comfortable and willing to help me. I went to one of the Taylor‘s for my navel piercing and to the other Taylor for my nose and ear - again both are so sweet and did an awesome job. Thanks again I’ll be back for other piercings soon!

Took my 17 yr old daughter to get her Industrial and was so relieved I found this place. First off it’s the price for me, after calling every place in the DFW they are the cheapest in town! Second is the atmosphere, I didn’t want to bring my little girl to some tattoo shop where a bunch of dudes gawking but here they make you feel 💯 comfortable. 3rd is professionalism! Make sure your papers are in order because they don’t play! Definitely recommend!!!

I have a ton of piercings and by far, this is my favorite piercing shop! The ladies at the front desk are incredibly sweet and very professional. A friend and I went in on a Monday to get a nostril piercing and helix piercing. They were super busy, but the wait was well worth it. Our piercer Taylor M (the older Taylor) was AMAZING. She was the sweetest and really took her time assuring the placement of the piercings were perfect. I would say shes the most gentle piercer Ive had! Almost no pain at all. Overall, great experience and will DEFINITELY be coming back for more in the future!!

I love this place I been coming back to them since they started at a different location years years ago. This time it was more special to me. My mom has been wanting a nose piercing for years since she was probably 14 but because she was so afraid she would hold back. today I decide to go with her and get my nose piercing Taylor M was amazing not only she was fast gentle and very informative she was asking all the time if I was okay. My mom had the chance to be there and see all the process she felt confident enough to get hers done as well she was very happy and was surprised it wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. I had an exceptional experience here! The girl at the front desk was so nice to answer all the silly questions I had and My piercer Taylor H was the best! The whole thing was great the price, the atmosphere, the attention to detail—everything! I was just getting my ears re-pierced but now I’m tempted to get more just to get to go back. I drove 30 minutes to come here and it was worth every second.

Taylor did several piercings for me in the past 3 weeks & I am BEYOND pleased! I came in 3 weeks ago to have my septum done, which Ive wanted for over 10 years now. It was relatively painless, Taylor was so kind & friendly the whole time and my piercing is healing great. Two weeks later, I came in to have my right nostril done, another gal did it. I wasnt thrilled with the placement and when I came in two days later to have my left side done, Taylor gave me her honest and professional opinion and ended up re-piercing my right side free of charge, and making sure that I was happy with the placement of both nostrils before and after the piercings. I couldnt be happier with my piercings now and will only come back to Taylor from now on!! 🖤

Came here on a Monday night and there were a lot of people but my daughter and I didnt even feel the wait that long. We were greeted by the very welcoming girl at the front. I had all the required IDs so we didnt have any issues. We had Taylor and she was awesome. Talked to us and eased my daughters worries. I wouldnt say we felt rushed but it is piercing and these are professionals so I dont know what people expect. I would feel taking long would mean inexperience. The prices are affordable and a tip is an option at checkout. I would definitely return to Pin Cushion and support this very friendly woman owned business. We love our piercings!

This was the 3rd time we have had my daughters ears pierced (she is now 16). Previously, now matter how closely we followed directions, one always became so infected that we had to let them close up. THIS time, at THIS location, was very different! Especially the instructions. And both ears are doing GREAT! VERY IMPRESSED! They are crazy busy, so get there early (parking is difficult, but worth it!). Very professional, very welcoming, very clean and sterile utensils, just LOVE them!

We have been twice for my daughter to have her ears pierced. The first time the holes closed because she didnt want to keep the earrings in long enough.When she was ready she got them pierced again. Both times the piercer was friendly, patient and professional. They spoke to my daughter (she was 8 and 11 years old when she got them done) and patiently explained the procedure making sure she was comfortable. Both experiences were positive for her.I recommend this shop all the time.

Hands down my best piercing experience to date. Not my first piercing, not even my fifth. So happy I went...super professional, helpful, patient, understanding. I had been obsessing over these beautiful curated ear designs and wasnt sure where to go. I wasnt even sure with my small lobes if I can fit much. The ladies at the shop were incredibly helpful and so professional. I asked the opinion of one of the ladies at the counter, she put me down for some suggestions, got checked in and spoke a little more about ideas with my piercing artist Taylor H. I like to let people have freedom to design and be in their element to offer their expertise. I appreciated her time for the consult and marking. In the end, the results were more than I could have pictured. Now I have these beautiful ears and cant stop looking at how pretty and sparkly they are. Pain is as expected or less (pressure, sting, breathe out). I was actually dreading the conch from my previous memory a decade ago for a helix. But wasnt bad at all! Thank you so much ladies at Pin Cushion. You guys made my day at how much you loved them too when I checked out. Pic of them immediately after. (I came in with two lobe and 2 helix piercings). My daughter who is 7 years old wanted her ears pierced. After doing some research I decided to skip Claire’s and I found The Pin Cushion by recommendation from friends. The place is clean and inviting and we only waited 10 minutes (we went on a Wednesday at 5pm). Our piercer, Taylor (the older Taylor because theres two Taylors) was so sweet and professional. She patiently explained the process to my daughter and made sure my daughter was comfortable. The piercing process was quick and my daughter didn’t even cry. Also, price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!

I got my left nostril, nose piercing in early June and I’ve had no issues with it. My piercer (I don’t remember her name unfortunately) was super sweet, and made the process easy. Their additional piercing cleaning supplies, are definitely worth the extra price as well. I recommend this place for sure!

I got my septum pierced here yesterday and my experience was amazing. The actual piercing process was quick and (relatively) painless. The studio was crowded, even on a Wednesday evening, but I think people need to understand that this business is small and incredibly busy. People come here for the quality of work, and the lovely ladies who work there are doing their absolute best. While I waited for my piercing, I observed the receptionists control the bustling crowd with grace. It is honestly amazing how well they handle the pressure because most people certainly couldn’t lol. I definitely plan on going back for future piercings!

This place is SOOO amazing! I cant begin to describe how much I love it!So it’s been a couple months since I got my septum pierced, and let me just say, this is my first piercing that has healed so well! They were very accommodating, and unlike my old piercer, they asked if I was allergic to any metals (I am), and made sure I got the right jewelry (for a very good price)! They have a super wide selection of jewelry, and staff is so so sweet and professional! Definitely coming back for future piercings!

I went in for a pretty standard piercing but was told no one qualified was working that day. I received a different piercing with minimal information about what jewelry was best for said piercing. Ended up changing it myself and the piercing they did on my friend was super crooked. She was offered another septum piercing but who wants to sit for that twice?

This shop is AMAZING! I came in as a walk in and even though the shop was packed with customers the staff was very efficient. Everyone was super nice and professional and the whole experience here was great. I will definitely be back for another piercing some time! Oh, and the prices are some of the best I’ve seen anywhere in the area!

I went to get my doubles pierced and loved it. I hate needles but the piercer was so nice and explained everything she was going to do so that I was more comfortable. Everything was perfect, the only reason I did not rate a 5-star is because my piercings are slightly uneven. While the pin cushion does an amazing job of allowing you to look at the marks before the area is pierced, I am not trained to see if they are level and only realized the uneven jewelry after the jewelry was in. Mistakes happen, so this wasnt an ill-hearted review, and overall I am impressed with the service. The only advice I would give to someone getting symmetrical piercings is to really take time and look yourself to make sure they are even.

So happy to have a trustworthy piercing shop close to home! Every one here, from the receptionist, to the piercers, are so kind and attentive. This is seriously the only place I will ever come to. My only complaint is that parking can be a pain if you come when its busy.

The piercers are all nice and do very well. I’ve been coming here for 2 years now to get my piercings and loved each of them. Though it’s usually busy so make an appointment unless you want to wait an hour or so. the prices are pretty high I will say there are a few places that are a bit cheaper but it makes since they’re located in frisco.

Its a tiny place and gets busy with walk-ins again but they run through fairly quickly. They dont make you feel rushed though, which is nice. There is good seating for the flow of people to get a seat without waiting too long.It would be nice to get to see the jewelry that come with your cost to have an idea and maybe ask any questions about them before getting them done.The people are friendly and quick. They get you checked in and you just have to be patient for your turn.

A beautiful nice lady named Taylor did my septum piercing yesterday for my 16th birthday. It didnt hurt one bit and I didnt even know the needle had gone through. Its been almost 24 hours and Ive still felt absolutely no pain, and thats saying something because I dont have the best pain tolerance. I love my septum piercing and I couldnt have imagined a better experience than what I had and the employees there are so nice and professional. These people have also pierced my best friend and her mom and they both had great experiences too. The prices are great too, my piercing was $53. If I ever get another piercing or someone asks me where to get theirs, Im recommending this place, hands down.

I walked in right as they opened and got my second lobes pierced. (42+tip; Total: $50)The wait time was 30min but honestly felt like a lot less. They ask for metal and latex allergies when you first come in and are insanely sweet. They know how to handle a large crowd too. Very nice staff. My piercer, Tana, was great for the small time slot she had to work on me. Felt slightly rushed but it’s understandable with the amount of people they have walking in. Gave me all the information that I needed and made it super painless. Will definitely come back to get my daith and conch pierced. They have a variety of great jewelry for all piercings in their showcase too. Just a slight suggestion: let the client see the finished piercing in the hand held mirror :) overall, loved it

I was really hopeful and exited to get some relief for my migraines and my doctor recommend a daith piercing. I have had many other piercings but this is my first cartilage piercing. I came in only to have a really bad experience with Krystal. They originally stated that I had to have a specific earring for the healing piercing and the healing process. Not only did they upcharge me for the incorrect jewelry they said that it was my fault that the piercing did not go as smooth because of the jewelry “I chose” (I didn’t) they had me leave without going over after instructions and I did not even advise the after care wash. Very disappointed I even reached out to the owners which have still after nearly 3 months not gotten back to me. Since then I have had to get rid of the piercing. Please make sure that you double check everything before you pay or sign or else they’ll just ignore you. If you really wanna know what it’s like just read the 1 star reviews and how the owner responds.

Tana was absolutely incredible! Very professional and gave my mom and I wonderful piercings. I have been many different places for different piercings and this place is above and beyond. The ladies that welcomed us at the desk were on top of it and remained steady and polite while they were incredibly busy. Cannot wait to go back!

Dad approved - Ive taken my daughter here twice (once before COVID and the second after) for her piercings and I couldnt be happier. Staff have always been professional and everything is clean and sanitized. I especially like their new check in system where they will text you when its your turn so that you do not have to wait in the crowded waiting room. It allowed me to check my daughter in and then we were able to wait outside in our car until it was her turn - it was very quick and efficient. I plan on taking my other daughter here in the near future for her first piercings and I encourage everyone to check them out.

I called ahead of time yesterday about specific jewelry options as I’m allergic to surgical and stainless steel. And the woman on the phone was so kind and answered all of my questions. So I decided to go get one done. While the wait was long, I understand as i work in the service industry. The wait was absolutely worth it. I got my nose pierced with a titanium hoop as a little treat for myself for my last treatment of radiation. I believe my piercers name was Tana. And she was amazing, quick, painless and thorough. 10/10 recommend. And I love that it’s an all women’s shop!

Absolutely amazing! I came here twice to get pierced, first by Taylor (earring) and second by Rissa (septum). Both of them made me feel so comfortable and they were done in 2 minutes?! Both times went super smooth, it was over before I knew it. There aren’t appointments you just walk in and fill out the paperwork, and I appreciate how thorough they are with teens and making sure a parent brings them. Their tools are clean and new every time which is very reassuring. Beware of going in and changing your jewelry. I went in to change a healed industrial to a shorter bar and was given a size and gauge to order online since they didnt have anything that would work for my piercing. I ordered the exact size and gauge I was told to, just to have it be the wrong gauge for my ear (too small) and the exact same length as the bar I already had in. I didnt get it pierced here but youd think they would be able to provide you with accurate sizing if you just want to change the jewelry. They looked at my piercing also.

I couldnt be more disappointed in the service this time. This place has gone way down hill. First my daughter was skipped in line but the part that was really upsetting was how fast her turn was rushed. It was her 1st time getting her ears pierced and the person barely said 2 words and as soon as she was done she put a paper in front of her face asking her to sign that she was happy with her ears. So she just assumed she had to sign and did. The lady did not even hold a mirror up to her to see or anything. My daughter left without even seeing her piercing. Everything was so rushed and a 15% tip for the awful service was automatically charged. This is not a place for kids.

Giiiiirrrlll if you scared about getting a soectum piercing please go to them and ask to be pierced by Taylor (the old one) she is just as sweet as professional, but also as caring and gentle. I’m scared of any kind of pain even a pinch makes me scared. In 5min she made my dream come true. I didn’t feel any pain literally nada, zero. I’m still exited about mine

I got my belly pierced and I had to wait an hour for a 3 minute piercing and saw many come in and out. However the lady who did it was great and nice and very quick and painlessly done. The pricing was also great-35 plus tax which includes the jewelry. Smooth and easy, recommend.

I hate needles, Im scared of them. I felt safe here and comfortable, something you should feel anytime you do body mods. I did black out and nearly vomit, these ladies were great and let me lay on a couch (past closing), got me a water and a snack so I didnt get sick everywhere. Love them, if I do get another piercing, itll be from them. (I say if cause Jesus Christ lol. I am still terrified, but not due to them)

Well... I was reluctant to write this review because this place came highly recommended and the staff seemed nice and professional. But, after a couple of experiences a family member and I had, I feel like I should speak up.When my family member went elsewhere to find out why they couldnt change the nose piercing Pin Cushion had done, we learned that Pin Cushion should not have used a flatback screw-in stud to do the piercing. This means they had to thread it from the inside of the nose out, which resulted in a painful, bloody mishap that another piercer had to fix after the stud caught inside the nostril tissue. We were forgiving about it at the time because the piercer was truly sorry and we didnt know better.The piercer who changed my family members jewelry said that not only are you never supposed to use a flatback when piercing the nostril, the post on the stud was too short. They also screwed it on too tight. The piercer who got it out had to use two pairs of pliers to get a good enough grip to loosen it.He said because the post was too short, tissue had started growing around the back of the stud. My family member ended up with a keloid scar inside their nose. The piercer was able to put in a proper nose screw, but it was painful because of the aforementioned ordeal and it caused bleeding again. I think it speaks volumes that my family member said that pain was worth it if it meant never having to deal with the flatback again.Before learning about my family members piercing gone wrong, I had my septum done at Pin Cushion. They did OK with that one, little pain and it healed fine. Its the only reason Im not giving them less than 2 stars.My last straw came when I went back to get another piercing, again before learning what I did about my family member. As with other visits the place was crowded (its a small waiting room) and the wait was long. They asked me to wait outside for them to text me this time, which was more than fine since were still dealing with Delta Rona.What wasnt fine was having to wait outside in my car in 95 degree heat for half an hour. Even with AC thats intolerable and there arent any reasonably close places to sit indoors to wait. I never got texted so I ended up canceling and went elsewhere.

I had Helix ear pierced with my sister, this place is clean, Taylor did the piercing for me and my sister, she is very sweet and makes us comfortable and makes so quick, no pain at all, after pierced she gave a instructions like after care, I highly recommend Taylor and this place.

I was here a few months ago and got my nose pierced! It was a wonderful experience! Kind staff, clean environment, and short wait time! I was only a walk in and was in and out in 30-45 minutes! My nose healed perfectly! I was given information on how to clean my piercing and made comfortable through the whole process! Minimal pain! Highly recommend and will be back in the future!

This is the second time Ive been here in a month. I came to the pin cushion on May 1st and got my tragus done. Taylor was amazing, she was so calming, took her time but was fast and gentle and talked me through her entire process. It didnt hurt one bit and no bleeding, it was a fun and cool experience.I went again this Friday evening and unfortunately the lady we got was not the most gentle. I could feel her the moving the clamp around after she inserted the needle which was PAINFUL and I continued to bleed a lot after she was done, cleaning up dried out blood from a brand new piercing isnt the most fun. I just feel like she was in a rush, or maybe was just too fast and not gentle at all. Its been 3 days now and my ear is still very tender and swollen in that area, it hurts to even clean. hopefully it goes down within these next few days.I still give this place 5 stars and will be going back for more, They are very organized and clean, Taylor made the entire process fun and painless!! highly recommend.

I went in yesterday to have my nose ring replaced because of a missing jewel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming as soon as you come in. They accept walk-ins so it was very busy but I did not have to wait that long until I was taken care of. The young lady who replaced my piercing was named Taylor. She is so sweet and pleasant! She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. She was quick and clean throughout all of it. If you are coming to get a piercing, ask for Taylor. The next time I come in I am going to request her for sure! I recommend this place for anyone who is getting their first piercing or who is adding on. They are great!

Pretty slick operation. The ladies all new their jobs, worked efficiently together to get us scheduled, have our piercing done, pay, explain the procedure and get us out the door. I have gotten all except 1 or 2 piercings here and I have 8 total. The reason I come back is because the staff is so amazing and friendly. One piercer in particular, Taylor Morgan, is by far the best piercer I have ever met! I was super nervous and going back and forth when I was getting my tragus pierced but I remember feeling so safe because she was so patient and kind towards me while I figured out what I wanted. I have come back and gotten 3 other piercings from her because she always does such a great job and I know Im in great hands! If youre on the fence about coming here dont be theyre fantastic and dont forget to ask for Taylor! (they have two Taylors shes the older one)

This place is great! We like it so much my sister and I have gone together twice in six weeks for multiple piercings (me, a helix, daith, and 2nd and 3rd lobes, my sister a daith, conch, tragus, and 2nd lobes).The staff is friendly and efficient, considering that it was quite busy right before school started. There wasn’t too long of a wait.We watched our piercer unseal the sterilized tools for each of us, and she walked us through the aftercare in great detail. The price is also very reasonable. We will be back for sure, and appreciate that we can support a woman owned business!

Got 3 piercings here by appointment and it was great. I’ve been back 3 times just to shop for jewelry but that simple thing never happens. I’m sitting in the super crowded parking lot right now after trying to buy jewelry unsuccessfully AGAIN. It’s always just so crowded. I wait 15 minutes but it’s standing room only inside and the workers are so hassled and unless I want to wait longer in a very long line with people bumping and grinding eachother it’s so packed inside, then you ain’t being helped. I would love to give them 5 stars but it’s pretty crazy this my 3rd trip over this way and it’s still like this and I still haven’t gotten new jewelry since I’ve gotten these piercings.Im leaving dissatisfied again.I can shop these brands online I guess…

I wanna start this review by saying i genuinely believe every employee at the pin cushion enjoys what they do and are very very kind people and a welcoming atmosphere. I recently got my nose pierced here on the 4th. they’re nostril piercing options are limited, but they do allow you to bring in your own jewelry as well which i could’ve done but decided not to. They offer appointments, but only one of their piercers (the owner Kim) takes them, the rest of the piercers are walk in only, which i don’t mind however, they’re a very busy place. I went on a Tuesday at around 5 and waited about 25-35 minutes, so keep this in mind when scheduling the time you’ll go. Now the actual piercing, was rough for me. Tana pierced me, and she is very kind and appeared to be the only person doing the piercings on this night but i could be wrong. because of this it was a bit rushed but i understand since she did seem to be the only one doing them and that isn’t her fault. When she pierced my nose, it was a lot more painful than I had anticipated, and she used a different technique than i had seen online when i was deciding if i wanted my nose pierced. She pierced my nose with the needle then pulled it out the same way and then the jewelry went in through the inside of my nostril instead of outside. I assume this is because the stud jewelry they used screws on the outside rather the inside.it was definitely rough. I am obviously not a professional, so take my experience and opinion with a grain of salt. Placement was perfect though and everyone was nice so i considered it a win and went home. Then the next night in the 5th I went to clean it before bed and realized the top screw had fallen off at some point and was lost. I checked their reviews to see if this was common with their nose studs and i did see a few similar experiences. Today I decided to go back to see if they could help me out, and while waiting my turn the woman sitting next to me was also there because of a nose stud that has fallen out multiple times. So in general i wouldn’t recommend their nostril studs personally, but you can always try a hoop, or bring in your own jewelry. The way they fixed my piercing was smooth, i had a different woman this time and unfortunately i didn’t get her name but she was very kind as well and efficient. When your nose ring falls out, as long as you come back in within 48 hours of it falling out they’re able to put it back in without having to pierce it again, just hurts a little bit because the area is tender. Since it happened within a day, they also did not charge me for the new jewelry and that was great. Now if this one falls out I will probably be going somewhere else or trying to find a good stud online, because at that point I would have to assume the jewelry is the issue. I think pin cushion could definitely benefit from maybe changing/ getting new studs since this seems to be a recurring issue, and I’d hate to see their piercers be blamed for a jewelry issue. I do love going here, they’ve done all of my boyfriends piercings (helix, septum, lobe) and he has always had good experiences, maybe because he’s been pierced with hoops as well.

My piercer was so nice and the entire place was very clean! My nose was pierced and the jewelry was put in so quickly and painlessly. We went without an appointment, but we got our work done within an hour. I appreciate that they care so much about legal paperwork and cleanliness.

Very friendly and upbeat atmosphere.Had a little waiting period which is to be expected for a walk-in.The piercing itself was super quick! I was literally in the room for less than 10 minutes.Pain?None.They dont use the traumatizing gun so it was extremely pain-free.Tana who completed my piercing told me Ill get hooked because of how easy and painless it was going to be.She was right.Im already planning my next two!

I came in today with my friend and my mom for my birthday to get my first piercing. I do not tolerate needles well, so I was extremely nervous. However, Marissa did an amazing job with the piercing and with customer service. She calmed me down before the piercing and walked me through the entire process. She quickly did the piercing and it didn’t feel anything more than a small bug bite! She also quickly did my friend’s and my mom’s piercing, and both looked phenomenal. The whole process was incredible and Marissa did a wonderful job. I can’t begin to explain how great this place is. I highly recommend it!

Love the quality service but 4 hr wait to get ear piercing was hard. avoid Saturday mornings I guess...

I got my vertical labret piercing and septum done here and honestly never felt so comfortable in a place before. staff is amazing and they’re so kind. my piercings are all healed pretty much and i love them

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but just never had the time. The ladies here amazing and are the sweetest. They really take the time to listen to exactly what you want and are super patient and reassuring when it comes to placement. I got my first and second lobes redone here after having them botched multiple times from piercing guns at Claire’s. Their prices are 100% worth it and it is a nice and clean shop. I will definitely be returning in the future to get my third lobes and helix piercings done.

Fantastic place! We went yesterday and we expected a wait (thanks Google for showing the expected amount of time people wait on a Saturday) there were about 15 people on the list in front of us but everyone working there remained happy and calm and worked through everyone so freaking fast. They were so professional and experienced. My daith piercing went well and my daughters ear piercing went really well. She was so nervous but did such a good job and it was such a fast thing there wasnt time to freak out. Fantastic place!!

Got my Daith pierced there a few months ago. Barely any pain(have a high tolerance any way), cleaned it how they told me to, never got infected and the best part, I have been migraine free since. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing shop to get a piercing!

I got my naval pierced here and they did an excellent job! The vibes are super chill and everyone there is super nice and made sure that I was happy with the placement of my piercing! I definitely 10/10 recommend coming here to get piercings done 😊!

Everyone there was super sweet! Taylor pierced me and she did a great job, it didn’t hurt and she called me baby a lot which eased my nerves. The girls at the front desk were helpful and fun to be around. I got second piercings on my lobes and my first every cartilage piercing. I will definitely return here for future ear piercings
