I cannot say enough great things about this store and the people who work there. I went in a few days ago in desperate need of a built in dust collection system for a combination workbench and table saw outfeed I was building and I had no idea how to put together a system that would work with my workbench. Along comes Chuck to the rescue, if not for him I dont think I could have made this. Chuck totally saved the day and I cant say thank you enough. They had every piece I needed, and with Chucks knowledge we were able to put together a great system for both of my saws at an affordable price. Thanks so much guys!!!
The team at Rocklers in Frisco is great. Special thanks to Jay for giving me a one-on-one box making class. Jay knows his stuff and he helped me learn a lot. Thanks to Tod and Robert for allowing me to take the class. Ive taken several classes at this store and have always found the staff to be excellent and helpful. Of course, their store is like a candy store for wood lovers, so I rarely go in without buying more goodies (tools, supplies, etc.). I always look forward to my trips to the store. Rocklers rocks!
Nice store with friendly staff. Good assortment of Rockler stock. Also had reasonably priced wood including some exotics. Enjoyed the visit. Managed to spend $$.... sigh...
Was my first time to go here. Has everything you need for any woodworking project. Chuck was extremely helpful and found what I needed very quickly.
Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Great selection of items! Will be returning.
Cant say enough good things about Rockler. The staff is knowledgeable and always eager to help out and answer questions. On top of that, the selection of productions including Rocklers own innovative woodworking gear is absolutely top notch. Decent selection of project lumber as well that you wont find at a big box store
Great service, great products, great pricing. It is surprising to me but the actual store is often cheaper than the website. The staff always helps me with my woodworking challenges.
What awesome place there help is knowledgeable and r
Each and every time my Dad and I, visit we are greeted the minute we walk in the door and have always received excellent service. My Dad’s favorite store!!!!
Attended a class on making pens (woodturning). Jay was very helpful and knowledgeable. Store was very clean, well lit, and organized.
If I could give more than five stars, I would! I took my first pen turning class today with Dave at Rockler, and it was everything I hoped it would be. Dave is a skilled, patient instructor and helped me turn a beautiful pen. The rest of the team was also super helpful - both Robert and Roy gave me some great advice during and after the class. Great experience all around, and I can’t wait to come back for my next class!
Always a pleasure walking in and hearing my name from the Team at the Frisco Rockler. I feel like Norm walking into Cheers! The crew always helps me find what I need and goes out of the way to get me things from other stores and the warehouse if they happen to be out of it (which is rare). 30 min drive is always worth it and I make sure to go by every week!
This is my go to place for tools materials advice, skill building. The second best place I go is rockler.com as they have more videos and tips and helpful stuff. I have only good things to say about the Rocker Team
Rockler in Frisco is such a cool business. Robert is the manager and he definitely goes above and beyond to take care of customers. I showed up after closing hours and he opened the doors and started up the computer systems to complete the sale. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all equipment and woodworking processes and advise perfectly to ensure you can purchase what you need. There are very few businesses nowadays that have ultimate integrity and keep customer service as a top priority. Rockler of Frisco definitely a company Ill continue to do business with.
Knowledgeable staff and great customer service.
This workshop was great! The instructor, Joseph was amazing, helpful and professional. Brand new machines and quality wood. We did the lidded box. Fun activity!! Would highly recommend!
Super nice folks, and the manager is very knowledgeable.
Joseph, the assistant store manager, is hands-down the most informative, knowledgeable and professional guy to work with. Love this place, and this location even more.
Always a great experience at this store. Friendly service and excellent knowledge base, especially the asst. manager - Joe...A+++
This place has the coolest stuff! Tools and wood that you won’t ever find at your local hardware store. The people here are always super friendly, helpful, and eager to offer professional advice. If you are a weekend wood worker, craftsman, or just getting started, this is the place to come! I love this place! Hope it never goes away!
Rocklers was very helpful and cordial as usual. I have a shotgun, that was my fathers.(Im 83) The stock needs repair. I couldnt find a gunsmith who would do the be job. It takes someone who has wood working skill and talent. Rocklers found one for me.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Lots of cool stuff to browse through and get ideas from for projects.
Nice store set up, lots of name brand products ans if need something wood work related they most likely have it.
Really cool store, super nice staff. Well stocked, for sure. Any wood workers playground.
Joseph and Robert provided excellent customer service. Joseph answered a number of questions about a saw I purchased and Robert drove to another store to pick up a part, so I could have everything that I needed in one trip. I live a few hours away, so it was awesome to get everything at one time. Thanks Joseph and Robert for great customer service!
Very helpful and knowledgeable. Which is good because I am not(knowledgeable that is). Great bunch of folks. The store always has what I’m looking for and the prices are very reasonable.
Ive been coming to the Frisco location for years, they have always been helpful, recently the staff has changed some and they are just as helpful and friendly. I recently purchased a heavy drum sander from their store and the manager and employee were kind enough to help load it In my truck. Im very pleased
I have shopped at the Frisco Rockler Store since the day it opened. I was so excited to have this store close to my home!I am an experienced woodworker and have been so impressed with the manager and his employees in this store. They are helpful and have expertise in multiple areas. If an employee can’t answer a question they are honest and will help you find some one who does know the answer.I have purchased multiple tools, accessories, and high end wood products in this store to great success. Every item I have purchased shows quality. In regards to tools and accessories, the engineering of the products is unparalleled. If a product isn’t the best, the employees are honest and have told me to look elsewhere. They have even given several options of where to find a better product. This made me a believer in this store and is one of the reasons I return to buy supplies. (Not to mention it’s like a family and they call people by their name when you walk into the store.)Can’t miss if you need quality equipment or supplies.
Change in management and staff. Miss you guys.Update: Change in management again and a change in the stores arrangement. I havent been to the store in several months and I was totally surprised at the amount of wood that is now available. Job well done on that change. What is woodworking without the wood? Now they have a large choice of exotic woods in larger sizes and various selection of cut ends, etc.
Great customer service. Very accommodating when I have my boys (3 & 5) with me. Staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. Prices are very competitive, and they often have great deals on sale items. Theyve certainly earned my repeat business!
Ah!!!! The smell of fresh wood! Takes me immediately back to 7 years old in my dads workshop. Bonus, they had just what I needed to fix my chairs that were a very special gift to me almost 20 years ago! Theyre perfect again! Convenient and very friendly staff was knowledgeable of inventory. Ill be back - even if I dont need anything.
I took an old hand plane in that belonged to my grandfather. I was immediately met with someone asking if I needed help. He showed genuine interest in questions about how to restore my hand plane and even showed me a similar plane and let me shave some wood with it to get an idea of how mine would work after being restored. I ended up buying a sharpening stone and jig for the blade. These guys were great. I felt taken care of even if I wasnt going to spend any money. I like great service. But genuine interest and caring about my project takes it to a new and rare level. Its just a fun store to go to.
Great woodworking shop! Knowledgable staff! I went in with a very specific project in mind and the sales rep that helped me did a great job steering me in the right direction. Love this place!
Unbelievably helpful. They didnt have exactly what I wanted, So Joe dug through some drawers and got me something I could fabricate. They even let me use their drill press. Up and beyond helpful. I highly recommend.
Great place!! Warm and welcoming inside. Good selection of tools and other important items. Went in to grab a spokeshave and after looking around I wanted everything there. Will be back again for there great selection of various woods.
Cant go in here without spending over $100! Too much stuff that catches my eye! Jeff has been the goto guy for me and my father! Woodworking heaven! Get your kids into woodworking! Better for em than drugs!
Excellent store. Wide variety of products and price ranges. The best part of this store is their friendly and knowledgeable staff. They go above and beyond to make sure that you leave there, every time, satisfied and more informed than when you came in.I would give their customer service 10 stars if I could!
I love this store. The staff is always willing to offer assistance and all seem to have great insight to help out a newbie wood worker.
Rockler in general is great, and this particular store is top notch.Very friendly staff.Very knowledgeable.Excellent selection of tools, wood, hardware and finishes.Good all around.
Good selection, well stocked. The employees are friendly knowledgeable, however they make shopping in this location very frustrating because they constantly hound you from the second you walk in.Having somebody available to answer questions is great, but I have to tell them to leave me alone every 3 minutes and I leave irritated every time. I wont be shopping in this location anymore unless I have to.
Several months ago I ordered the Shark HD extended bed CNC. When I ordered the unit the Frisco manager advised he would provide help with learning to operated it along with all of his projects on a thumb drive he had there at the store to help me get started. Due to some delays in shipping it it finally arrived at the Frisco store; however the manager that I ordered from was no longer employees there. I questioned the new manager about the help and projects the prior manager agreed to furnish me when I ordered the Shark, he advised he did not know anything about it and there were nothing in their computer. Now it has been three months since I have received the Shark and I am still struggling with attempting operate the unit.I appreciate the help loading the heavy unit but disappointed I was not able to feel secure that I would be provided any help from the new manager to learn to operate the unit.Lynn
Helpful employees and great selection of products!
Rockler has been my place of inspiration for years. Recently theres been a change of staff and its not been the same since, especially the manager. Really sad!
Im new to woodworking. I came in the store, and spoke with Mike who answered all my question and was supper helpful and friendly. Ill definitely be going back often.
Excellent customer service.
I frequent this store, and know many associates by name, and they mine. Very friendly and helpful. Everyone is passionate and excited to share ideas, projects, and tips.
Great staff... Strong product lines... Very thankful to have one of these Frisco! Thanx guys
Came into the store today for cabinet drawer slides and hinges. Joseph took the time to make certain I had everything I needed to get my project started. Joesph was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to. Amazing customer service experience!
GREAT store lots of quality woodworking tools and supplies at reasonable prices
Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable sales associates. Convenient location, and fair prices.
The staff was pleasant & helpful. I cant wait to go back!
Love Rockler....Carry items I can’t get at big box stores.
Great hobby store for woodwork. They even help the professional business.
I needed to get a marking gauge (tool for drawing straight lines on wood). I called this place and asked if they have one and the person I talked to said they have it. I asked if they have more than one kind and they said they have several different kinds.I went there and looked around but couldnt find it. I asked the person working at the front where the marking gauge is and he seemed confused and didnt know where it would be. He looked around and couldnt find it. Then he went to his computer and said all of them are out of stock. Thanks a lot for wasting my time and telling me you have several of them when in fact you had no idea whether you have it or not and clearly didnt bother to look.I ended up going to Woodcraft in Plano and they had 10 different kinds of marking gauges. The people there seemed to actually know what they were doing.
Excellent customer service and product pricing is comparable to Amazon.
The staff here are always extremely helpful here.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
