I do not recommend Auto Republic based on Customer NO Service, lack of warranty on any repairs, and buying a car with issues. I purchased a car from Auto Republic and noticed it had a broken glass. When the sales person negotiated the contract with me he included a work order for the damage, and promised it to be fixed after sale and it be under warranty. I tried for over a week to get it replaced but I was getting the run around, and being pushed around by management told that they were unaware of the issue. Finally after 5 calls I was able to get the car in for the repairs. They fixed it but then refused to honor any after repair warranty agreements. I sent a message to the Service Manager (Jonathan Cortes) & the company CEO (Mike Ramirez) who never replied to me at all. I called and was ignored as well by Sale Manager (Junior Silva). They refused to give me a receipt for the service work, as well as to give no warranty on the repairs. As a disabled women I find this to be dishonest and unprofessional for a business to treat a customer like this. I will never purchase a car at this business with this type of after sales treatment of customers.
Excellent service, they held the car I was interested in buying that day before I arrived. Upon arrival I was greeted and treated like a guest. Alberto (who sold me the car) was informative about the car I was buying, explained the details and features. Where you do the signing and paperwork is well kept and comfortable.
Just want to express my full gratitude for Chris!! Because he really made me feel like someone really cared about making a deal happen for me, I recommend everyone to ask for Chris because his knowledge on the cars and communication skills is there and will make you feel stress free to purchase a vehicle, I am a 100% satisfied
Just bought this car, the sales representative Alberto, was very helpful, he answered all of our questions and allowed us to take vehicle for a test drive. Once we asked for a quote, it was fast and simple. After deciding yes, the sales manager, JR was very helpful with the paperwork. He was fast, patient, and very good at communicating. My first vehicle purchase was overall a great experience at Auto Republic.
I came to Auto Republic about 3 weeks ago because of an ad for a Q60 I had seen. It was priced at 14,500. After sitting down and going over the numbers it was 2k down and 18,500 financed thru my credit union. I decided to pass on this deal. After that I found another Q60 with 10,000 less miles for 14,400 which turned into 16,500 out the door. Put down 1,500 and got financed for 15,000. Save your self the time and the money. I only posted this because Ed the manager told me I couldn’t afford my Q60 which I’m driving now. Thank you Ed I love the motivation. 😉
Called to get some information on a vehicle and spoke with the most unhelpful, rude sales associate who said he didn’t have time to help me because they had more important people there trying to make a purchase. I had every intention of buying the vehicle I called on but after that experience and reading the other reviews for this dealership they will no have my business and just lost a sale.
Eduardo and his team were amazing they all had great personality and customer service. They had a great selection of cars. This was the most easiest car buying experience ever. We would recommend to all.
This place is a joke. I called to inquire about a vehicle and after we go over all the details I made an offer. The gentleman decides to not run the offer by management because he “knows” it will get rejected. Shortly after that he advises he needed to check if the vehicle is available to begin with. This is the type of service I received when I only had the intention to take home a new car 🤷🏻♂️
Man let me tell you I’ve gone to other dealerships in the past and nothing is compared to the top level customer service I got from Chris, this man went out of his way to make sure I was getting the right car I wanted and didn’t leave my side once through the whole deal and financing process. I think it was a 3-4 hour process and I was really happy with my purchase and will be getting all my future cars for here thanks
Bought a 2015 Q50 Premium Hybrid with 70k miles 2 months ago from here. I love the car and everything about it but yesterday I found out it needs a new transmission. Codes have been present for 5 months now. If you buy a car from here, please take it to a mechanic as they barely get their cars running to sell them. Terrible customer service and “Mario” acts like he doesn’t know anything about cars. I will never buy another car from an auto republic, they are scammers and crooks. Luckily I have warranty for my car so I don’t need to pay for new transmission, but had I not gotten warranty it would be a $20k fix. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE TRUST ME
Purchased another car from AR, this time a RAM 3500. With 4 locations full of cars these guys always seem to have whatever I’m looking for. I did have them upgrade the interior to leather, new wheels and tires as well as an upgraded bumper. Having a custom shop in house is really nice if you need to roll it into the financing. Anyhow the truck looks awesome, everyone who sees the truck thinks it’s worth $10k more than I paid.
This dealership is where everyone needs to get their cars from, they really help you from the beginning to the end of the process, I don’t know who the other people that left reviews were talking about because I really went here thinking I was going to get treated bad like all the other dealers I’ve gone too in the past, but no it was the opposite :-) I loved the customer service I got from Chris, he’s really is a man of his word and a true hustler on getting you the best price for your buck will be returning and recommending to all my family and friends
Ive gone to many dealerships. But this one was by far a huge waste of my time. From the neglectful sales person Mario who kept running around the actual saying of the total price, to waiting there for 2 hours just to be told, your numbers dont make logical senseWhy would I say it if I havent fact checked it or done my numbers? On top of that, the mere pressure of just increase your down payment As if money is just grown on trees.Do not be betrayed by the cars they have in inventory. You will be hussled, you will be lied too.
Would not recommend rude and poor customer service; the salesman Alberto in Fullerton did not give us the correct information on out interested car and wasted our time
SO SATISFIED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP/ AND MY WIFE IS SO HAPPY WITH THE CAR I GOT FOR HER :-) THANKS TO CHRIS FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN / IM A FUTURE CLIENT NOW FOREVER :-)
I live in San Diego, the car salesman (Randy)was really attentive and tried to workout a deal with me. I drove up and although the experience was great, and most importantly, no hard feelings, we didn’t come to an agreement. Otherwise the service and professionalism was awesome. If you go here, just know they will definitely try their best to make a deal with you!
Worst experience I’ve ever had. The salesman, Chris, sat us down to do paperwork and refused to tell us the total price. We asked him repeatedly and he kept saying we would get to that (it was about 2 hours of that). He forced us to get insurance through a broker that I assume was his friend even though we kept telling him we had AAA and were adding it there. He lied and said we couldn’t do that. We went to AAA this morning and sure enough he lied and we paid about $300 to his broker friend that is non refundable. All this while we still didn’t know the price of the car. He had the poor finance guy doing all the DMV paper work and everything as if it was a done deal while we still didn’t know the price of the car. We sat at his desk for about two hours while he ignored our simple request of knowing the total price. He just kept running out and leaving us sitting there. The finance guy, Albert, finally called us in ready for us to sign papers and he was just as shocked as us that we didn’t know the price yet. He had done all the paperwork and we weren’t even sure we were taking the car. When he told us the price it was beyond what we were willing to pay (the dealer adds non optional things to the car that they don’t include in the original price). Albert worked with us and got the car to a reasonable price so the time he spent doing all the paperwork and the time we spent sitting around wouldn’t be a waste. If it wasn’t for Albert we would not have purchased the car even though it was exactly what I wanted. So thank you Albert for helping us get a car and making the experience a little more pleasant at the end. They have good cars on their lot but I would ask for a different salesman if you get Chris. Also be aware of the added on fees in the fine print. Not sure that getting a car was worth the stress of the experience.
I called on two different vehicles to make a cash offer. I was told there was an additional $895 Lo Jack and a $395 clear coat package. These options as I was told were not removable. So the $9000 cash offer I was asking for went to around $12,000. This place doesnt want to sell cars they want to sell add-ons that I do not need and raise the prices of their cars
So we got a car about 3 months ago. Numbers weren’t quite right, but Chris really was motivated to work with us. We left very satisfied of not only the vehicle we got, the great warranty it comes with, and the price we got it. I highly recommended getting a used car here!
Worst car sales team ever. Arent even accredited and where probably at one point and had they accreditation taken away from complaints, had a accord all set to purchase they ran paperwork whiel the car was sold already t asomeone else. unprofessional, lack of communication, lazy employees sitting at home making it seem like they are on top of things. DO NOT WASTE YOU HARD EARN MONEY
UNETHICAL, ZERO TACT! TONS OF ADDED FEES!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!!!My husband and I loved the car, the sales customer service was great. Everything seemed too good to be true - BECAUSE IT WAS!! Once we started getting into the paperwork we realized they added over $1k in add-ons that arent required AND we were not asked if we wanted (GAP coverage, extra theft insurance). Because we read everything we stopped them and made them remove this from our contract (its cheaper elsewhere).LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER - the dealership called us to tell us our APR increased 1.4% and we needed to drive back and sign a new contract or return the car with zero restocking fee. Then a couple hours later (bc were working) they tell us we have to pay the $500 restock fee (for a car we drove home, less than 25miles and had for less than 24hrs). How can someone charge $500 for a contract that is NOW VOID DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE - AS THEY WERE THE ONES THAT JUMPED THE GUN AND TYPED UP THE APR INCORRECTLY (per our credit union who confirmed with the dealership that the dealership made the error on their end). And the Sales Manager has the audacity to say if we didnt like it we can bring back the car and theyll sell it to someone else (as he chuckled about it).I REPEAT - DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The sales rep Chris was okay but NOT WORTH THE UNPROFESSIONALISM AND DECEIT!!!
Most surreal buying experience Ive ever experienced. Went to buy a Jeep this morning advertised for $23k, test drove it, liked it, so went to sit down inside to buy it (all cash). Then it turns out the paper hes showing me (confusingly) doesnt include a few important vehicle components, such as the already installed security system, the seats (yes the seats of the car), and.... wait for it.... the wheels! Yes, you read that right, the cars seats and wheels (the ones pictured in the auto trader ad) were extra add ons! So make sure to bring a flatbed trailer with you if youre hoping to get out of there paying the advertised price. What a waste of a morning thanks to these clowns.
Be cautious! They give us bare minimum for our trade-in, 17 Honda Fit, then make us wait almost 4 hours although all info was sent electronically, something about they were communicating with bank, back and forth; w/down payment, no down payment, w/down payment! Then, they take the time to add $895 rims, $495 lo-jack, $495 clear coat protection, etc.... but cant order floor mats? Car came with no floor mats! Asked Alberto and he came back after talking to manager, Sorry, thats how the car came
I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT WASTE UR TIME HERE. I was here for FOUR hours looking at one used car, at first it seemed like a good deal then after hours of telling me and my cosigner to lie to my bank so we would get approved, the price went ALMOST DOUBLE? on a USED car. They add so much unnecessary fees here! I wasted a lot of time here contemplating it and once it came down to the final paperwork they told me if i decided to sign, I could take the car home BUT I would find out in about a week if im even approved. I denied this deal. The funniest part of all this is its been almost a month and a half since i came here and i JUST got the letter today telling me i was denied to lease the car. Imagine if i was to take it home that night and own it for almost two months just to have it taken away!? btw I was able to get the same car but one year newer somewhere else for THOUSANDS $$ LESS. go anywhere but here:)
STAY AWAY FROM THEM, I called to verify about LoJack which they post as a feature, they told me its part of the deal and MANDATORY to purchase in all their fleet for additional $999.00 added to the price of the car WHAT A SCAM !!!
Went in yesterday to look at a car I found on guru. Had a great experience. Chis was our sales rep and he was amazing. Super friendly and went way over and beyond. I excited about my new purchase. Thank you so much.
No wonder they are at 3.7 stars 🙂 I simply texted a proper message on OfferUp asking about a car they have starting with a greeting and taking time to write a proper messaging ending with a thanks etc... I get a simple response of No LMAO way to go for customer service!! Is this how a used car business runs?! If Im about to invest $30K in a car do I want to deal with this quality of customer service?!
Eduardo and Andrew cool dudes got a great car traded the silverado for traverse needed a good family car
Their advertised price on Car Gurus was a great buy but neglected to include their mandatory extra expenses. Once you factor in the $895 Lo-jack and the unnecessary, profit padding, $395 required undercoating, a great deal was barely a fair deal. Its clearly deceptive advertising. The purchase price is not the actual price if you tack on mandatory extras. Beware!!!
Jay from auto republic was extremely helpful during this whole process. They were able to get me exactly what I wanted. I’ve had my car for a couple months now and no problems at all, runs like it’s brand new! Thank you to everyone at Auto Republic for a great experience and I will be coming back for future purchases.
I am glad I waited to leave a review. From the start, auto republic screamed shady. I was strongly encouraged to buy a waranty, I bought the waranty on the spot and that increased my down payment $1500. I further researched this autowarranty company and regretted the decision so I called and had them remove the warranty. I was not refunded the $1500, but rather it was rolled into my payments.. I was okay with that, but I was still dismayed at the deparity to sell this warranty. They told me they would take my trade in and pay off my balance.1 month later, I get call after call from my financer saying I have an outstanding payment. Auto republic failed to take care of the payment, so I was stuck paying back payments and I was never given a reimbursement from auto republic, nor was that payment rolled into my current loan. Now, I am three months into my purchase and my dealer issued temporary plates expired a month ago and I have not been able to get a hold of the dmv manager there nor have I received a call back. This place is sketchy and I would not trust them with large purchases such as a car or truck.
Dont go for their fake prices on car gurus, they hide additional unwanted items and service fee from car gurus to make a good deal, they cheated them, they have aditional 981 and $895.00 LoJack Vehicle Recovery System registration fee, and $395 Clear Coat Package not included in vehicle prices shown and must be paid by the purchaser. They claimed that they price their vehicles aggressively and when you inquire they add extra $981 to it and bring it to the worst price on internet hense just trying to cheat Car gurus and carfax and attract customers. Be warned ⚠️.
They advertise great prices on their ads. Once you’re ready to make a deal they add “optional” accessories that CAN NOT be removed... they add a “required “ lowjack LOL and some type of pint coat Protection...
Note: will update review after they help meGiven its a used car and well it had 2 owners.I went in on a Sunday to purchase a 2013 fiat 500 Abarth 25k miles, thinking I got a decent deal minus the standard up charges we all know lets not act like we dont expect those. Listed for $12k leaving at $15.5kThat Monday got a check engine light.Brought it over to the Fiat experts madness autoworks on Tuesday. (see inspection image)Turns out the car was in not so great shape.*Fog lights were not plugged inand exposed upside down.*Overspray in the engine bay.*Double the amount of oil in the engine.*coolant Level was over the max*brakes went properly squeezing the back rotors*biggest concern is that the spark plugs were rusted*spark plug coils had rust on them*walls of the spark plug in the engine were rusted*a whitish residue ear the rust plug holes and on some hoses*aftermarket parts(which was disclosed) and tried to get me to buy an 3rd party warranty which probably would be void cause of the aftermarket parts*parts of the air intake looks replaced not factory*hood wasnt factory*waste gate not factory*front mount intercooler not factory (the guys at madness said they never seen anything like it before)*airfilters not been maintenance/replaced*a-pilliar trim and headliner arent fitted properly*Pcv hose in the engine bay not factory*Platic belt cover not factory*clips, tubes not factoryNone of which was disclosed at purchase! And when asked about the inspection sheet I had to sign can I have a 3rd party inspect it response yes of course though you will have to have it done before you buy it or do an self inspection, though our service team is good and they checked it out and made sure its okay. which I understand and was tempted but I believed that there team was good enough to catch big mistakes. Or at least disclose everything that was apparent. In the end I signed the decline for returning the vehicle, stupid on my part..They are currently inspecting the engine light and fog lights. They said the other items arent there concern...Well see what happens and Ill update the review.Everyone is super nice though personally.
Total ripoffs. Horrible service.
Scammers. But the cars and selection looks great from the street and up close. All that glitters...
Chris was very honest and helpful he made the process painless and easy I would highly recommend.
Awesome service from sales people. Super friendly, good stock, and no pressure at all...great place!!!
Made a 530pm appointment to see a car. Got there and no one was available. Waited for 15 mins before someone acknowledged that I was there. My wife was thirsty but there was no water. Asked for water, the reply was no cups. Decided to buy the car and requested that the car be washed because it was dusty. The answer is that car wash is twice a week and its clean enough. Asked for a full-tank and the sales agent paid for gas out of his own pocket. Overall, lots of waiting and very minimal service. Very different car buying experience from other dealerships Ive ever been to. The price of the car is extremely good but I guess you pay for it in other ways.
I just purchased a vehicle from this place 8-19-2020 and all went well, however, I was told via-text message by Rep Sylv, they were going to send me off with a full tank of gas. Well! I live about 78 miles from this place and I was about to hop on the freeway, then glanced at the gas gauge and had less than a quarter of a tank, so I had to go out of my way to get gas before getting on the freeway, SUCKED!Wouldve gave them a decent score, but when your told something and that something doesnt happen, its one of 2 things, a lie, or just poor customer service. It was a real let down, but it is what it is.
I decided it’s time to update my previous review! Everyone planning on purchasing a vehicle from Auto Republic in Fullerton should be very cautious! Do A thorough inspection of the vehicle. My cost of purchasing missing parts has taken a toll on my pocket book. I’m finding that some of the parts were missing to hide underlying problems with the vehicle! As of today I still haven’t received A reply from any of the staff at (Auto Republic). Capital One Financial says as soon as you sign the paperwork, it’s your problem! We can only stop doing business with that dealership! Do your homework and look deeper into the vehicle! The one I purchased had A clean car fax! It doesn’t mean anything at all! Missing parts, recalls not done, bad alignment, electronic problems and tried to sell it with A dead battery.Auto Republic in Fullerton is A bad place to do business!
Pretty solid place with a great staff and a chill no-haggle approach to used vehicle sales.
Went to Orange location, Chris, Marco and Eddie were very helpful, friendly and professional. They were fair and very service oriented. I went home purchasing GMC Sahara conversion. Thank you guys! you were all awesome! I will be back for more!7/6/2020 - Used the new vehicle during the July 4th weekend and I found out that the horn was not working. I call Eddie Arcarte today and inform him about the issue and he immediately said that they can fix it and scheduled an appointment for me. Really awesome! will update this when it is already fix.
I highly recommend Auto Republic in Santa Ana and particularly Juanita. She is an exceptional lady who treats customers like family. She is extremely kind, honest, and will go above and beyond to help you get the perfect vehicle and make your car buying experience extremely fun and completely stress-free. I cant imagine working with anyone else. I live in Nevada but I will continue to keep in touch with Auto Republic and Juanita and will purchase other vehicles from them in the future. Ive also referred many friends and family already. Juanita makes buying a car what it should be and she sets a high standard for all other dealerships to follow. I had a 5 + star experience with Juanita and Auto Republic in Santa Ana. Dont hesitate to contact them. Their inventory is great and they are exceptional people.
I live in Florida. My Grandson was graduating from High School in California. I looked on the internet and found the vehicle that I wanted to drive back across the Country.2014 Mercedes-Benz red Crew Van. The van had low mileage 12,000 and was priced fairly.Marco is one of the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He went the extra mile, dealing with me in Florida. He emailed me extra pictures. I needed step rails he arranged to have them installed. I bought the van sight unseen. When I arrived to take delivery, I was pleased with the whole process. No pressure sales.Marco arranged for me to take it to the Mercedes dealer to make sure everything was good to drive across country. With no cost to me.He even followed up calling me to see how everything was going.Marco and the staff at Auto Republic, are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and honest. You can buy with confidence!,😄😎
I recently financed a Jeep from this dealership. It seemed fine test driving it around town. So I finalized the deal and headed home. Halfway home the traction control went crazy and the Jeep moved violently from lane to lane. I called the dealer and was told someone would get ahold of me. It’s been 3 weeks! Still no phone call! In the meantime, I took the Jeep to 4 wheel parts to get looked at. $1300.00 worth of missing suspension parts with labor! Do your research! This dealership is a shyster type business! I would give a minus 10 if it was available.I hope my mistake helps you save your money
They refuse to stand behind the cars they sell. We went in ready to buy a car and they wouldnt give us any kind of legally binding warranty. Sold as is only so not even Lemon Law applies. Sad. The car I wanted was electric but they were going to sell it without a charging cable too.
These people are super dishonest. After four and a half hours of being there I found two charges added to the bill. One for $395 for paint protection that I didnt ask for and one for $895 for a lojack. They were never going to tell me about the extra $1300. When I found the charges, they said they told me the car had lojack. No one ever mentioned the paint protection. On top of it, the manager was not friendly from the beginning. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
Thank you Jose for your friendly customer service. We went here knowing what we wanted and we got it. Everything went smooth according to plan; we cant complain. All of our questions were answered. Paper work process was direct, smooth, and quick. Im very happy driving my new car. We look forward in going back sometime in the future. :)
Albert at Auto Republic was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was honest and informative. He took all my phone calls and answered all my questions. Even gave me some helpful hints to get my insurance payments lower. Highly recommend stopping in and seeing Albert if youre looking for a car. (Santa Ana location)
Experience was bad. Overpriced vehicles with low customer satisfaction drive from employees. They are not there to help you find your car. As soon as I mentioned I was preapproved for a loan through my bank, they lost interest in me, which indicated they just wanted to to rip me off. It was a very unwelcoming sales floor and atmosphere. There wasnt even a clearly available parking area. Overall just a poor experience.
I purchased my new vehicle on 3/28/2019 from the Santa Ana location, I had driven by this place everyday on my way home from work and admired a jeep that was sitting out front, finally made the decision to stop by and take a look, well thats all it took, the staff at this location was beyond helpful, and the young man that helped me was so knowledgeable and answered all questions that I had, it made the decision easier to go ahead and purchase that beautiful green Jeep. The staff was very helpful, kind, and I never once felt pressured into buying a car from them(that is an amazing feeling). I would definitely recommend Auto Republic if your looking for a new car, they have an amazing team and also a variety to choose from. I am one very happy customer with my new purchase. If and when I am in the market for another new vehicle I will be visiting them. Thank you Team Auto Republic for making my purchase an easy one.
Great service
Marco is an outstanding salesman. He answered every single question we had and made sure that he went over everything on the vehicle that we were looking at. We have purchased our car today! Thank you for all of your help Marco.
Employees are really nice and patient. This was my first time to purchase a used car, So I had many questions to ask. That guy answered my question patiently. However, they forced you to buy some anti-theft device, which is nearly $1000. When I told them I dont want such device, they told me that they had already installed the device, so you have to buy it. I really love this car, so I pay the extra money. I recommend you to find a car somewhere else. But if you fall in love with car in their shop just like I do, preparing extra $1000.I gave 3 stars because I really enjoy my car now. Otherwise, I will rated 1. I hate someone sell me something without telling me until paying the money.
I had a pleasurable experience at Auto Republic Fullerton! They remedied a problem with a different branch. Their staff are professional and very friendly. They worked hard to get us great financing. These guys are one of the best dealerships I had ever come across and I have purchased many autos throughout my life. They have a great inventory! I highly recommend you see them for clean, low mileage vehicles. We are so happy with our purchase of an excellent Chevy Tahoe.
What a pleasant surprise! We are so lucky the car we wanted happened to be for sale at Auto Republic! We were looking for a Rav4 EV and there arent a whole lot to choose from. Auto Republic had the exact car we wanted. This was our first time dealing with Auto Republic and we werent sure what we were going to be dealing with. Luckily, we had the quickest/smoothest car buying experience ever! The no haggle policy was actually quite nice (you save so much time going back and forth from customer to manager and their prices are very competitive). Sergio was very nice, helpful and went above and beyond for us. The financing was totally streamlined and they got us out quick! Our only small complaint is that our car was not fully charged but, they did offer to charge it for us and bring it to us the following day. Hopefully we dont need to buy another car anytime soon but, if we do we will check Auto Republic first!
Bought a 2012 Cadillac CTS V and 3 weeks of ownership the engine blows. The car has a lot of little things wrong with it as well. Shady sell by the dealership.
Great selection of used, but on the much newer end. Employees there are fairly new, and new to the Industry, so gotta be a little patient.I got my current car from AR recently
The car ended up not being quite what I wanted, but I had a very good shopping experience here nonetheless. Andrew, my sales rep, was professional and courteous from our first meeting to the very end. If more used car retailers treated me like I was treated here, Im pretty sure they wouldnt have the reputation they do.
I am ready to welcome the Spring/Summer in my beautiful convertible I purchased at Auto Republic in Fullerton. I had a pleasant experience from reaching out to Marco, test driving the car, and getting help with the financing. Staff is knowledgeable, and cool. Im very happy with my choice of dealers and my car. Thanx!😁
The process of buying a car here was very straight forward and easy. Erica made herself available to answer all my questions and provide information to me. Harold walked me through the paperwork in a simple way that was easy to understand. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and it was a great car buying experience.
Chris is amazing took his time helped us get the best price and interest love my Chevrolet Traverse !!!
As someone who had no experience buying cars before, I was really nervous about the whole thing. Im so glad I came to Auto Republic in Fullerton! They made me feel totally comfortable and explained the whole process to me step by step. The friendly staff made buying my new car a piece of cake and their selection of cars was great! I walked in there not even knowing what I wanted and drove out with the perfect car for me! Great experience, I highly recommend!!
If I could I would give this place zero stars my fiancé went down and traded his perfectly running truck in for a 2012 Dodge diesel that they said was running perfectly and since it has been brought home has been in the shop for two weeks straight there refused to help fix any of the problems. the day he took it home his check engine light came on so we called and was told to take it down to them and they can fix it given we live in the high desert that was a far drive so we took it down there and was told they didn’t have the parts to fix the problem and we could take it to any dodge dealership it was under warranty and wouldn’t be charged a thing once we got back home with nothing done we took it in to our local dealership where they discovered $2000 worth of issues with this truck none of which were covered under the warranty and needed immediate attention. We had called the dealership with the issues that were found and expected a refund for the work we had to pay for since they sold us a money pit of a truck that we hadn’t even gotten a chance to really drive or use and they refuse to do or help in any way after guaranteeing the problem would be fixed without and payment necessary. Doesn’t help that I am 7 months pregnant with our first child and have enough expenses as is, we thought a bigger vehicle would be better and safer but ended up completely in debt due to this dealerships lies and negligence I would not suggest them to anybody if you choose to still do business with this company good luck .
Marco was very friendly and a good communicator. He really tried to get me the best deal and made me feel at home. Highly recommended dealership and no time wasting!
My quotes out the door was un-itemized and written in sharpie across the page.Try harder.Customer service response was amazing, added another star.
The servers are attentive. Ive been in this place to sell my car. Im because Luke all the resales that I have been, they pay well bellow valeu. Pretty straight from Florida.
Its pretty straight forward I found them on offerup need to make Shure the car is what you want test drive the car for asslong as you can Bering take to get checked they make it clear that they dont offer warranty 😡 and that you only have 250 miles warranty with atjt beeeing said make Shure your test drive and triple check your car because it will be your problem not the dealership
I was holding off on leaving a review. Give them time to do the right thing. I only went to this dealership since a former coworker works there. Bought a 2014 335i with 34k miles on 5/18/2019. Paid fair price for it. I noticed on the service records that brakes were never changed. Brakes squeaked occasionally when stopping. Tires seemed a little bald. I was told they inspected the car, and everything was fine. I asked about bringing it to my own mechanic for an inspection and was told I would not be allowed to. I could bring my own mechanic there, but not able to bring it to anyone to have the vehicle put on a lift. This should have been my first warning sign. I figured whats the worst that could happen. Car has no mileage. Ended up taking it to a mechanic I never met before on 5/24/2019, and to a really good (mechanic) friend for a second opinion. I was told brakes needed to be changed ASAP, tires were bald, coolant is leaking, and oil pan leak. I reached out immediately to Auto Republic who held off on me bringing the car in until 5/30/2019. They told me everything with the car is fine, and are currently refusing to do any of the work. Except for the fact the car is a road hazard with bald tires and brakes.
Heres a real experience with the text message correspondence. I contacted that I was interested in a vehicle, they took my application, ran my credit, sold the car, and then blamed me for it.
I was approached quickly and asked if I needed help, I just wanted to walk around. About ten minutes later, the staff was there when I needed them. They have have a great lot of different cars and trucks. When it came to financing, Jason gave me the best advice even though I personally know it would make him less money. My payments ended up less than I wanted and they threw in a free warranty, and not just any warranty. It was the best type of warranty, 36k miles or 3 years, and it was free!Despite the past reviews, I still visited the lot to check out the cars they had in stock. I cant imagine why anyone would give them a negative review at all.I love my new car! The guys and business couldnt be better!
Marco Marco Marco, read the reviews. He helped me get a beautiful Subaru Wrx today. As long as everything goes smoothly and as promised on my 5 day buy option to use my own financing through my credit union and will completely satisfied with a big decision and finding my perfect car. I have been shopping for several weeks and out of 8 dealerships Marcos was the most professional and didnt make me feel uncomfortable at all which is something I experienced at every other dealership previous to Auto Republic fullerton.
Sales manager and his team were easy to work with and its the fastest car buying experience Ive had
This dealership should be called stealershipthey add a grand on any car you buy for lojack which is not needed in this day and age be aware when you sign your contract
Very clean premises, good selection of vehicles. Our salesman Abraham could not have been more professional and helpful. I would recommend these folks to everyone I know.
Marco made our 1 hour drive worth the time. He answered all our questions on the phone and in person. He was very knowledgeable with the car we bought and made the purshasing experience very painless. He even suggested an awesome Taco place after we left . We will definitely make our next purshase with Marco and Auto Republic.
We were out all day long looking at used cars and just happened to drive by the Orange location and stopped in. My daughter found a car that she really like that was very reasonable priced and much newer and better condition that what else we had seen. The entire sales process was smooth, no pressure and both the manager, Harold (on his 2nd day there from another location) and Lilly Baez, the sales consultant, were very helpful, knowledgeable and just friendly. The process of purchasing the car was not long and super easy and was explained very well. I am nothing but impressed with Lilly!! They made the experience easy and fun! I have two other daughters that will be driving soon and they will see me back for that next car! I will be recommending Auto Republic to anyone that I know in the market for a great condition, great priced, used car!
They are awesome! No surprises. I would buy again from them..im going to tell my friends and family about this place...they deserve more than 5 stars..lots of very nice cars to choose from..they are going to seal the paint at no charge! A 1,000.00 value for free!Basically it was a quick and nice experience.Signed,Happy buyer😀Thank you to the general manager as well as sergio...
We had the best experience with them. I would recommend Andrew in a heart beat. So professional, no pressure, great attitude and great deal! Have Ish handle the loan. Could not have been happier 😀👍
AR is lucky to have such a talented and personable salesman. DJ really connect with my son and I. He made my son first car buying experience a pleasurable memory. Thank you DJ for your help!
Great repair work and price the best people
They have such bad sales rep. I got them the co signer they asked me for. They called me saying the GM wasnt there so I had to wait till the next day. If youre trying to sell a car you do the best you can for the client. You call your GM, you kiss his ass until that sale is made. But Johnny just didnt sound like he was interested on making some commission off the sale.
🚨Somehow my last post “diapered”, so I’ll just keep posting it to make sure my review stays on the site! I bought a 2015 GMC Sierra back in Aug of this year (2019). I put less then 5k on it and EVERYTHING is falling apart!. My AC don’t hold the Freon, the rear sliding window went out, the breaks are squeaking, and parking sensors keep glitching! This truck is trash!!. I don’t recommend buying any vehicle here!!!!
Very great friendly and welcoming experience when purchasing a vehicle ! Marcos was very helpful and definitely had the perfect car just what we were looking for ! Best part we were out the door in less than 2 hours ! 🙌🏻😊
Just brought 2001 Prowler & people ( Andre ) treated me real good & make it happen 👍

I bought a 2012 SS Camaro my guy MarcosWas very easy to work with. Very professional. I am another happy costumer!!!
My wife and I bought our car from DJ from out of state! He was very accommodating, worked hard for me over the phone to get me the best deal and even picked me up from the train station to bring me to the dealership. This is the best experience Ive had working with any dealership and would highly recommend anyone to buy their car from DJ and his staff here.
You know, I have purchased three vehicles thru auto republic and have had a mostly good experience. But this last time I went in To get a truckor a work van and it was terrible. I saw an add and talked to the sales man .... Sorry person. I told this person...... Screw it I told him I wanted to lay cash for a truck. I needed the final price out the door. I waited and waited. He went in to the manager they watched videos for a second..... 4 minutes then talked about something. Heres the deal, I wanted a price. I was paying cash not negotiating at all. Just give me a price, and they still have me thru the motions...... Over it.
I just purchased my 2004 911 C4S from Auto Republic and Mike and his team went above and beyond to get me what I wanted. I have been looking for this specific car in the condition that I want and Auto Republic had it. Not only did they provide me with flawless service and a flawless car but the owner came out and shook my had and congratulated me on my purchase and I told him that I was sending the wheels out to get dipped black and he sent me to his guy and saved me $400 dollars!!! It was worth the drive from Santa Monica Auto Republic has my business for life.
They were very helpful as soon as we walked up a nice gentleman by the name of marcos helped us out . he was respectful and gave us great customer service.
I just got a Ford Fusion 2017 at this place, and my family very happy with the Car and the services. Specially thank you Chris, Danny and Harold they are very nice guys, help all you need.
So, I was involved in a car accident a few weeks ago. I was finally payed out by my insurance company last Monday. I was in contact with Jose for more than a few days about a 2014 Outback thats been on the lot for over 3 months. I had been in the talks to getting this vehicle and was going to make the trip last Wednesday. I figured since I had spoken with Jose early in the morning, he would hold the vehicle. As most dealerships do that. I was going to travel 3 hours to get this Outback. He called around 11 am to tell me someone was about to purchase it. 30 minutes later, he called to tell me it didnt go thru. I then asked if he could hold it until I get there as this is a long drive. He chose not to answer this question and said oh well theyre taking the keys out of my hands whatever that meant. I told him to hang onto it and ill be there around 4 to 5 pm because I obviously need a ride to get there. 2 plus hours later, around 2 pm. Im 30 minutes into the drive from where I live and receive a call telling me its been sold. Now, anyway you look at that was dirty. He let it sell from under me EVEN THOUGH I called EARLIER at 9 am that Wednesday to talk to him about it. I even ASKED for it to be held on the 3rd call of talking to him. I was going to drop a fat 7 to 8 thousand dollars CASH on the spot for the Outback. Think of the commission he wouldve made from that. He just let money slip out of his hands. And out of Auto Republics hands. Your loss. I suggest anyone who reads this, to not come here. They obviously dont care about you and are only interested in making a sale on the spot.
Sales person was nice guy. Car gurus said car was over priced by 2600 dollars. Dealer has haggle free pricing. I need to feel like I am getting a deal. Their price and policy could not do it.
Great service ! Helped me get the car I wanted same day ! Ask for Sergio he helped me out ! and Harold as well !
Cesar and Harold were great with customer service..im very satisfied with the purchased and felt they went the extra mile for me..Thank You!!
This place is honestly great ! I would like to thank Marcos for assisting me with getting my first car out. It was along process but he was patient and went out of his way to help me.
